You got to remember, he doesn't have incredible weapons in this receiving game. I had that thought the whole game. Like, man, if he had neighbors. Oh, my gosh. Well, he was just something that's never been done before. Devante Adams. I mean, Devante Adams had three touchdowns. It was like 30-something yards, right? Yeah, I think he was in the 30s. All three of his touchdowns were one-yard touchdowns. Oh, were they? I think all three of Adams were goal-line. I mean, it's just that is, for fantasy, that's a bad beat if you played against Stafford. Also, Patrick Mahomes has been playing fantastic football. He really is good. And we saw this years ago. Now that their offense is actually. chugging along and their team looks great. When they get around the goal line, this has been his entire career, but we've kind of missed it the last few years because they just haven't been scoring as much. Their willingness and frequency of tap pass, I mean, it's a run play. It's a run play that scores a touchdown that gives fantasy credit to Patrick Mahomes. He's going to get those throughout this season. And that gives a nice boost. It's almost like how we talk about like the
the baseline of a rushing quarterback. It's like, when you get around the goal line, you can have, he's the only quarterback that reliably you can say they can have rushing touchdowns that he gets to get a passing touchdown. It's so fabulous to have, like, when you have a team that is dominant as long as the Chiefs have been, eventually we turn on them because you're like, I'm tired of it. And especially the way that they have won the last two years, three years where the offense is just watching a Chiefs game was horrific. Like, this is, I'm so thrilled, so thrilled that they're like, they're dominant. They've, they're, their Super Bowl odds have to be like the number one. And it's great. I like the chiefs again. Yeah, I, I wasn't mad at the dominant 2007 Patriots because yeah, they were awesome. It was so fun to watch them put up 50 points over and over and over. But did you know on this side of the turn of the century, the highest points per drive?

George Pickens and C.D. Lamb, that is a, and the nice thing is over 70% of the targets were consolidated. It went to Pickens, C.D. and Ferguson. And Ferguson got two touchdown. Yeah. He did. Oh, this is like exactly what you dream of for fantasy. Consolidation of targets on offense with a great quarterback and no defense.
Give me that. A terrible, terrible defense. Coming back, top five of the week. Hmm. Hmm. Christian McCaffrey. Oh, yeah, baby. Woo! 35.6. And he learned how to run the football again. George Kittle unlocked it. George Kittle. And this was a great defense they played. The fact that George Kittle had his first game ever without a catch is like that's unbelievable. And that sucks. But George Kittle being back for Christian McCaffrey. I didn't think it would do this for the running game, but it was like, holy crap, Christian McCaffrey can run again. And if that is unlocked with all the targets, you're at the point now where I think it's fair to say, even if he gets hurt from this point forward. Right. It's a good pick. It's probably a great pick. Yeah.
Jonathan Taylor. No one's out there 0 and 6 right now with CMC. No, they're probably all 5 and 2. Yeah. Or better. Jonathan Taylor, number two, he is a machine. Yes. I mean, it is. You just talked about points per drive. You mix that with Jonathan Taylor, a functional offense. This was the number one fantasy running back in years past. We know what he's capable of when the offense isn't completely inept or led by terrible quarterback play. They are just such a different team right now, and he's scoring so many touchdowns. He came into this week, having been vultured by Daniel Jones three times near the goal line. Yet he was already leading the NFL in touchdowns, and then he added three more this week. He is unstopped. They were from further out, weren't they? Not all of them. The Voltures? No, no, no, no, no. Taylor's touchdowns this week. One of them was near the goal. It's like the two-yard line. It's kind of an incredible touchdown pace right now. Quinn Sean Judkins.
was a bounce back start of the week, 26.4 fantasy points and looks amazing every week. DeAndre Swift, ho-hum, we're back in the top five. I mean, even with Menangai getting work and, you know, even Roshan was on the field. Yeah, the Saints, the Saints, it was, that was a tough game for them. But last week with the, just doing things differently with DeAndre Swift. It seemed like they had figured something out. You weren't sure. But back-to-back weeks of, like, actually being effective on the ground is very exciting. Also, let's talk about Josh Jacobs. He is so good. And you saw how bad the Patriots were when he wasn't on the field. They were spelling, the Packers, yes. They were spelling him through this game. He only played 55% of the snaps. That's his lowest by far, by far of the season. You know, he's usually.
he's got a game of 88, 78, 79. And then he came in with that calf issue. And so they were sparingly using him throughout most of the game. And it clearly was hurting their offense against Cardinals. And towards the very end of the game, when they had to score, they're like, all right, let's be real here. We need, Jeremy was pointing that out. He was at the game rooting for his Packers. Also, all of the other friends of his in. Packers uniforms were at the game because the Cardinals were on a silent count the entire game at home. Yeah. You know what? Good. Take that. Like that's what you get. But the thing is, is that doesn't hurt the bid well sold out. He's like, yeah. Sell those tickets to Packers fans. Yeah. That's fair. I'm just saying the people, us fans who have you spent your money, your hard earned resources and your time is like you got to recoup some of that. And it's like, hey, be better.
Yeah, yeah, make me not want to do that. Exactly. But Jacobs was amazing. Giovante Williams, 18.3 fantasy points. So those are your top five on the week. I saw so many people were complaining about Bijon. That, tons of puns about, I couldn't put a Bijan pun in when you have 52 and one. Bad? Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, all bad. Negative. Well, negative. Because he, here's, here's why. And I know this, you know, I'm a Bijon manager in the Dynasty League. Yes, he was the running back eight. Okay. Yes, he had a touchdown. Oh my goodness. Yes, he had almost 100 yards. Yeah. Not good enough. Okay. This is you with Christian McCaffrey of old where you were upset when he'd have a three touchdown game because he could have had five in that game. You watch you want more. You want it. There was a lot. There was a lot of dissatisfaction. That is. It's not fair. No, I didn't put it in there because I thought it was wild. Ridiculous. Because he was great. The Falcons were.
stinky doo-doo on offense yesterday. The fact that Bijan gave you a top 10 game when the whole team stunk? The Falcons need to be played with confidence at home. Michael Pennix at home seems like where you can be confident right now. Jalen Warren was your start of the week. He had a great week. Cam Scataboo continues to get it done. Had the touchdown on a great catch and run where he followed his blockers. Ramandre Stevenson, 18 for 88 and a touchdown. And the guy, the guy in New England. Like it or not, it's the way it is. And he actually ran well in this game. And then Pacheco, he will play Cleveland next week. It's actually a tough stretch. Cleveland is great against the run. Atlanta has been a good defense. At Tampa Bay, you can't run on them. So, you know, I don't know if you sell high right now because he is, he is that guy. He's getting the workload and it's not going away. We talked about that going in this last week.
our confidence in Ramandre, but this is a, it will be a tough, a tough, uh, schedule coming up. Yeah, I don't think anybody's, I don't think anybody's going to buy Romandre. Pacheco though, 15 for 57 and a touchdown. It was nice to see him do something. Uh, Kareem Hunt went out briefly in that game and he's been kind of phased out a little bit more on the, on the snaps. Wide receivers top five, Jamar Chase, Devante Smith, AJ Brown. Chris Olave, Devante Adams. So, Jason, you got backed into playing Chris Olave. I did. And you end up with the fourth highest performance of the week. Yeah, yeah. But AJ Brown and Devante Smith, they got it done. Both of them, yeah. I mean, AJ Brown, multi-touchdown game and got outscored by Devante Smith, who had his career high in yardage. It was nice to see. I mean, the running game isn't doing for...
the Eagles, what it did last year. And so if you have to throw the ball, you know, they can. This is why we, you know, you don't, you don't just assume it's always going to be bad when great players who have been great in the past are still together. Yeah, they, two of the big plays for AJ Brown came on fourth down situations that they just kind of threw it deep. Well, one of those, I mean, I don't know, I don't know how you, you had, I feel like he stood in the pocket for 12 seconds. and there was no pass for us. It was like, they couldn't get to him at all. He's just looking around. He's like, do I want to go there? Do you want to go there? Let me have a cup of tea. Hey, uh, Adrian Brown, go, go long. Mike, you said you wanted to see it again. I did. Keenan Allen, 14 targets, 11 for 1119 and 1. Yeah. But this was not a normal game. size speed like athletic is like he's running so fast and he's so big this is a rookie so we you know what I mean like with pedigree with pedigree um and he is on a good offense who I know they've got a lot of weapons and that's the downside here and we'll talk about this way more on tomorrow's episode where does he rank and waiver wire whatever but I am I'm a believer I'm bought in I don't think it's always going to be great because the this ball There's too many places for it to go right now for the Chargers. Yeah, 55 pass attempts helps a lot. That's why I mean in a dynasty league where you're looking long term where maybe Keenan's not going to be there. I think this guy's legit. A lot of it was. But you had to follow the trend with Hunter. 63% of snaps, then 74, then 74, then 88, then 90. I'm sorry, route participation.
And the other side of the coin is the underwhelming drop addiction of Brian Thomas Jr. Oh. I thought you were going to say the snap counts on defense. Well, I mean, they were ramping his offense. They wanted him to be integrated into the offense. And we talked about it last week on the show. You can't really, if you're not in the practice room for all of this and you're trying to acclimate. They committed to the offensive side of the football. Yeah, I don't know if he played defense in the fourth quarter, but I know going into the fourth quarter, he was at zero snaps. Okay, so only 14 snaps on defense this week. So he was a full-time offensive player. I mean, that's what, you know. I felt like this is common, man. They need him. And Thomas is hurt. I mean, like you saw. You left with a shoulder injury at the end of the game. At the end of the game, it was just a DB jammed him.
and the shoulder. And I mean, he went down. So I don't have any further news. I don't know if anyone's seen anything, but it was, it was troubling. Yeah, so Travis Hunter had zero points at halftime. So I mean, it was, it was a bit garbagey, but by week coming up and then the Raiders after that, Travis Hunter, at least there's hope. There's optimism. Yeah, it's exciting. And then Jason, you brought up Rashi Rice as an immediate start of the week, seven for 42 and two, you know, Only 19 routes run in the game by Rice targeted on more than half of them. That's ridiculous. So more to come for Rashi Rice and the way the offense is playing. Xavier Legate 9 for 92. We talked about him. C.D. Lamb right back out there. His touchdown was so weird. I mean, it looked like two guys running in the same spot. He just grabbed it and ran it in. Slowly, by the way. He was really setting himself up for a drop the ball before the end zone. C.D. It's a little excessive.
And there were a couple of bad tackles in that game where he called himself off afterwards. I am going to be worried every time this guy gets tackled all year. So scared. Welcome to the Christian McCaffrey experience. And then Michael Pittman took advantage. So did, I don't know why Alec Pierce is not in here. Alec Pierce, I believe, had 98 yards receiving, something like that. He was, yeah, five for 98. Both those guys. He was our nasty boy. Yeah, there were a lot of those guys in that tier of like opportunists, right? We knew that Josh Downs was going to miss this game. Pittman with the touchdown, the short area targets, Pierce downfield constantly, something to pay attention to. Pierce had played well before the concussion. We'll see if Josh Downs is healthy. And then we already talked about the number one tight in on the week, Jeremy. Arronday Gadsen.
Why is this a Jeremy thing? Because I sent him a trade offer with him. Aranda Gadsden and he's like, I don't even know who that is. But Pat Friermouth with the with that huge crazy game. And he was off the injury report. We can't forget that he was, you know, he was injured. Yeah, he was dealing with, came back and didn't look great off the injury report and looked great. And, and I will mention it cautiously. Joanne Johnson had the same thing, where Joanne Johnson had gotten hurt weeks ago, was on an injury report, and is like, oh, dude, we are, it's absolutely done. And then he was still participating the same amount, and he had a decent game. He didn't make, I don't think he can crack this list, but he was, he was very servicable. By the way, Travis Hunter had zero fantasy points of the half. Yeah, that's what I mean. So it was all second half. They got, they got whooped. Yes.

They exceed. what we consider a good baseline for a position, 17.6% of the time he's over 20 points, which is an F. And if I watched that game and I wanted to learn something from it, it was going to be that Josh Jacobs is your offense. That's what I would learn from that game is that the more they leaned into running the football, the better they played. It's so disappointing. I thought he would be much better this year. His weapons.

I brought up, Fields was talked about a good amount on Sunday live in the show last week and it was like Fields without Garrett Wilson is the Jets can't do anything. Fields needs him. So games when Wilson is active, if Wilson is removed like he was in that Denver game.
then nothing will happen. So Fields, I mean, one, Fields may not have a job. He, like, oh, yeah, yeah. He shouldn't. There is a, there is a, a better player. There is a strong quarterback. There's a strong chance that Justin Fields is just flat out benched. But should he keep his job, he is off the fantasy radar until Garrett Wilson is back. This team is going to be, this team is so, I mean, tortures the right word, it's so bad. And it's going to get worse because at least Fields could have an exciting single play where he ran the football. But I think they're going to move on from Brees Hall. I think he is definitely going to get traded. He was 11 for 38 in this game. He had two. He got hurt. He had two targets. He got hurt and came back. Not last week. Last week he wasn't even on the field. When Dallas got out to a big lead and I feel like there is a little bit of game script worry. The archetype of Jacori Kroski Merritt is one where it's like this is a lowly drafted guy who doesn't have like a predominant past catching background. He's looked good. He's had some juice on some runs. This is why, you know, early in the season we were very, very skeptical. all the bill fun jokes aside, it was, you know, we would talk about how, you know, he can do no wrong, but then actually say, you got to be careful with that. When you're a lowly drafted prospect, it's not always going to be great. And this is also, you know, for dynasty purposes, this team needs a running back. They need a real running back. So long term, I don't think he's their future. Even if he has a good rest of season, there's no commitment here. Chicago and Dallas were the make or break games.
