Episode notes

The episode’s durable material is a long yacht argument: Jason wants one despite being landlocked in Arizona, the hosts debate lake yachts, strip “yacht” status from smaller boats, imagine helicopters carrying them, and eventually land on tandem-rotor Chinooks, millions of cars, Boeing, and four-bolt plug doors. DK Metcalf is alternately denied and admitted by the top-15 bouncer. The mailbag closes with Listener League and dynasty openings.

of a quarterback change, I'd be, I'd be saying, like, if you did trending or ending for Addison, I'd be like, out. Because 10 touchdowns. Yeah, that's not a sticky stat, hard to repeat. He's a 5-11-175 receiver that, you know, he's a first-round pick. I mean, he's very good. I'm not, I'm not saying he's not. It's just his consistency was not there. He played a lot of games without Justin Jefferson. I mean, six weeks thick, six through 12. He missed. He was without Jefferson. And his, his polar, his performances were like 63, 1, 118. I mean, a lot of those, Kirk went down in week eight, I believe. So, you know, if you look at the first eight weeks when you had a quarterback, and obviously Kirk's gone. So it's important. But those first eight weeks, which were the first eight weeks of Jordan Edison's career, do you remember where Jordan Edison was before Kirk went down, wide receiver what? What's your guess?

55:51 ↗

For the first eight weeks, I'm guessing he was the wide receiver. Which is half the season. I'm going to guess 10. You guessed it on to death. Oh, really? Yeah. He was the wide receiver 10. Yeah, he had an insane week seven, obviously. Yeah, he was looking great. Now, how many touchdowns did he have in 10? I know he was a 17 game pace of like 14 and a half touchdown. So no, he's a good player. I'm worried about him. That's all. I would be worried as well. I am very pro Addison as a talent. I am very. anti-addison as a fantasy relevant player this season, especially once Hawkinson comes back. You've got Jefferson and you've got a poor quarterback. And I'm anti-addison, anti-Madison, anti-Madison, anti-Radison. I hate the hotel. Oh, man. It's the worst. I will not go there. Because of that. The name. Yeah. All right, that'll do it for today's episode of the podcast. Thank you for joining us. Back next week, the trifecta returns.
