But the difference is the offensive system. You know, that was part of why Hollywood wanted out. He asked for the trade because he didn't want to be on a run first team. He wanted to be on a college Oklahoma field with his college Oklahoma quarterback, you know, running a spread offense where he can just run routes, catch balls all day long. And I think when you're looking at, okay, a guy that's drafted in the middle rounds. You need the talent and you need the opportunity. And I think he's got both of those things this year, especially with Hopkins being out the first six weeks, to really establish himself as one of the best wide receivers in the league. He's obviously smaller. It doesn't fit the body arc type of the big bodied slot guy like Cooper Cup. But as far as middle round wide receiver with changes and talent that we've seen already.

I think that's Hollywood. Well, we joke about the DeAndre Hopkins route bush because it's not even a route tree because of how close to the line of scrimmage often is. That, you know, and then Christian Kirk departing, who was the downfield threat, who did have so many targets, there are going to be opportunities for Hollywood Brown, and there's going to be kind of that default reaction from Kyler to find his guy. Also, my understanding is Kyler's not a coffee and breakfast guy, but. They did attend UFC 274 together and they play a lot of video games. That's their breakfast. Okay. Some video games for breakfast? Yeah. They squat. Yeah, that's right. Squat up. I'm not sure how that works compared to bagels, but we'll give it a go. Probably need less video games from both of them if we want to see this actually happen, though. At least play Madden. Right. Oh, man. What if the team, the team just sneaks in the playbooks?

into Madden. And so when he's playing, he's accidentally doing film work. That's sneaky sneaky. The way of the future. You got to trick him into it. All right. My potential Cooper Cup, the opportunity is there. The talents, there are definitely some question marks here, which are very fair to ask about this player, but the opportunity is there. And the money is there. I'm talking about Marquez, Valdez Scantling, new wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs. He has not done a ton yet in his professional career, despite playing with Aaron Rogers. But the Kansas City Chief saw enough that they gave him a three-year, $30 million deal. Remember, Tyree Kill's gone. That's 25% of the targets. Like, that's a huge chunk. And who's the one here? Is it Juju?

Who they brought in is at MVS? I mean, we still don't have the answer to that. In terms of ADP, Juju is being chosen as the number one wide receiver for this team. But MVS, he led all wide receivers in average depth of target, 17 and a half yards down the field. He clocked in as the second fastest runner per NFL next-gen stats, which basically all of the top five other than MVS. It's just Jonathan Taylor. which is like, okay, that guy's very good. But for this offense, at least what we've seen in preseason, he's not just going to be used as the nine route player, which was pretty much his role for the Green Bay Packers. He was all over the field. Yes, Juju was not in this particular game in preseason week two, but a lot of targets to MVS, including a just miss from Patrick Mahomes to him, which would have been a massive touchdown.

In terms of the narrative, we know that there was some training in Texas where MVS was able to do some dinner and some lunch, probably lunch before the dinner. Right. Depending on your timeline. But it is still there. And I think that for a later round guy, MVS is definitely worth the shot. Yeah, I mean, he's much later than the other two guys being brought up, obviously. I can't make the leap. in the time machine can't get me there. There may be a timeline out there in the multiverse where that happens. Because you're running on plutonium. I'm running on banana peels over here. I feel like I took the time machine and I went and I saw the past and the future again where he plays with a great quarterback is not good enough. The only thing that would get me in on something like that would be if I had seen MVS impose his will on a defense. And I have yet to see that. That's something that we've seen Hollywood do. We've seen.

Pittman do. I'll be curious to see what MVFs represents. I do think he fits the draft A value. I couldn't believe how lady went in our listener league yesterday. I regret not taking the shot. Yeah, I am not an MVS truther. I don't think MVS is going to have a great year, and I think he's a great draft pick because we're wrong, you know, hopefully less than we are right, but we know that. Patrick Mahomes is going to be great. So you've got to take a shot at one of those players and where he, you know, what he costs because maybe Juju's knee acts up all year. Maybe Skymore isn't ready as a rookie. And then all of a sudden. Kelsey takes a step back in target share or snaps. But I mean, you can make an argument for all those type of players and you need, you need to grab one of them. You need to grab one of the Packers and hope to get it right because if you hit, that's a. What about the chief stuff? Yeah.

Both teams. I'm saying you need to take someone from those two nebulous situations with Hall of Fame quarterbacks. All right. Let's try to find 2022's Leonard Fournett, a running back outside the top 24. Maybe it's a veteran. Recent fantasy letdown for that player. Maybe some backfield competition. Maybe a player with a chance for more targets than we expect for them. Fournett turned into a godsend for fantasy teams. With a monster. Including Al Borland, who just... What did you call him, Fort Tutty? Oh, God. Yeah, Fort Teddy, Fortinette. He was... Was that against me, too? I mean, he was... Yeah, I remember. And that's not allowed. Like, in fantasy, you're not allowed to have Leonard Fornett crush you. That feels wrong. Yeah, it's extra bad. So, looking at the options for the time machine, I'm going with Daryl Henderson.

Okay. Running back for the Los Angeles Rams under the timeline of what if Acres is never really back, never really ready, never really okay. We just talked about O.J. Howard and the Achilles, Marlon Mack, not going to win the job in Houston. Darrell Henderson for the first half of 2021, that was a big steal in fantasy football. Yes, he was. This is a player that has had that recent fantasy letdown. We've kind of waited and waited and we liked the tape from Memphis, and yet you never really got consistent performances from him. But this was the RB 11 with 19 opportunities a game without Cam Acres on the field. So if you don't have a healthy Cam Acres, that's the upside of Daryl Henderson. Their system is maybe they want to go to running backs this year.

but they might not have that opportunity. So you have reports out of Los Angeles, ESPN. I don't think it's a given that he will start the season as the RB1, speaking of Cam Acres. So I think that that's a very nebulous situation where Camacres, you saw it in our draft yesterday. Yeah. Nobody wanted to take Cam Acres. He just kept dropping and dropping and dropping. Somebody eventually had to take him, but it was a nervousness that comes along with that pick. I think Henderson could be very valuable for fantasy, very free in drafts, if something's wrong with Cam. Yeah, I think people don't remember that last year, Ronald Jones, in most of the early offseason, was drafted ahead of Leonard Fournett. Yes, he was. Now, by draft day, they kind of swap, but they were really near each other. You know, a couple weeks into the season, it became clear, and they just gave the job to Lenny. But, you know, you talk about...

Darrell Henderson, you're like, well, no, Cam is there. Rojo was there. Ronald Jones was thought to be a big part of Leonard Fournett's problem last year. It just turns out he wasn't. So when I'm looking at Leonard Fournett and how to find this, I think about a former first round running back, a former first round running back who falls into the eighth round on a great offense with a Hall of Fame quarterback and Ronald Jones on the roster. Fair. And that's Clyde Edwards, a layer to a Scott to a T. I mean, former first round running back, been very disappointing with efficiency. He's in the eighth round. He's got Ronald Jones on the roster. So, you know, look, I know that we have, we all want to be excited about Isaiah Pacheco, his sub 4-4 speed with size, some of the things that happen in camp. Now, Ronald Jones.

apparently is not going to get cut. He will make the 53-man roster. Just like you like it. Just like you like it. So are they going to cut Gore? Yes, I believe Gore. I think they're going to run with, I mean, it's not official yet, but I think they're running with four running backs. McKinnon. McKinnon will be the question mark here, but I think he will make the roster along with Pacheco and Ronald Jones. But Clyde Edwards, Allaire, through all of the question marks about the other three guys, has been the steady one. through all of it. He is the clear first guy to get the opportunity. And, you know, managers don't know what to do with him because he's been disappointing falling to the eighth round. He averages a touchdown every 37.5 carries. If that number hits league average, that will be eight plus rushing touchdowns to what he's done. So many vacated targets, which we're talking about, oh, grab an MBS or grab, you know, Skymore, get one of those guys.

It could go to a really good pass catching running back in Clyde Edwards Alleyer. So he fits the bill. No one is excited. But we weren't excited to get Leonard Forenett last year. Yeah, the chiefs did reach an injury settlement with Derek Gore. Oh, oh, I had missed that. So if he clears waivers, he'll be a free agent. Gotcha. So you brought up Derek McKinnon. That's the real question mark of that third down roll. I think McKinnon will be the passing. Downs. The Darrell Williams role from last year? Yeah. Yeah, I mean, the reality. That would be the opportunity for those big targets to go up. You hope that Clyde can get enough on first and second down. Yeah, I mean, for him to turn into Leonard Fournett last year, he needs the volume. He needs to be more than just a first and second down guy. He's got to win the job and be used near the goal line and be targeted a lot and also be the first and second down guy and use those other running backs to spell him. Right now, that's not what's being projected.

That's why he's in the eighth round. But should that come to fruition, he will volume his way to a great season. All right, Mike. Who's your pick for the 2022 Leonard for now? I'm going with Rashad Penny of the Seattle Seahawks. We know that Rashad Penny, when he's on the field, can be not just great, but elite from weeks 14 through 18 last year, the overall running back won, averaging over 21 fantasy points per contest. If you had picked up Rashad Penny at the right time last year, the guy carried people through the fantasy playoffs and was a true championship caliber fantasy player. Much like Leonard Fournett, you know, like the talent has not been the issue. We just, we haven't seen him. The guy has been just absolutely banged up, missing tons of time. But the Seattle Seahawks, they did. They brought him back on a one-year prove-it deal. Yes.

Ken Walker is there, was a second round pick, grades out, and it looks like a really interesting prospect at the running back position. But the guy's coming off of hernia surgery. We have no idea when he will actually be back. And Rashad Penny knows the system. Pete Carroll knows Rashad Penny that when he's on the field, he's going to produce, and this team is going to try to establish it. And Rashad Penny is going to be the first man up. I would just say that if Rashad Penny produces. They won't take them off the field just to get Ken Walker in. Right. It'll come down to injury for Penny or a lack of production. And, you know, you guys have said it ad nauseum this off season. When Penny plays, Penny's good. Yes. So I don't mind it. I will say it was a little terrifying taking him yesterday as my RB2. I ended up that way in our 14 team draft. It was a little scary because I just don't know what I have. Do I have a week? Do I have six weeks? Do I have a steal?

I don't know. Yeah, but that's what's exciting about Rashad, is you're not going, you didn't draft him and go, yeah, man, this is a total disaster. I know that this is going to end poorly. You drafted him going, this could be a potential steal of the draft. There is a world where that happens. When a guy runs off a five week, four or five weeks stretch and it's just that dominant, but the upside is there. There are a handful of running backs. that if the draft falls to you in a way where you go wide receiver heavy or you take one of the top quarterbacks or you end up with a tight end. There's a handful of running backs that I look at and I say, wow, that guy could just end up being an RB2 and be totally fine. Yep. Penny's one of them. Damien Harris is one of them. Ramandre is one of them. Like there's a handful of where I'm like, you know what, I'd be all right with that guy. Chase Edmonds? Sure, Chase. Yeah, Chase is.

Chase is always... He would have been my answer to this question if he wasn't already on the My Guy episode. One more journey through time. Let's find 2022's Dalton Schultz, a late round tight end. It could end up the number two target of an offense. Chance at 70 receptions, chance at eight touchdowns. This is, I mean, this is fantasy gold. You find one of these. Yep. and you didn't have to invest in early pick on a tight end, and you have a great one that gives you an advantage of the position. That is fantasy gold. I'm going to go with the Muth, baby. The Muth is Luth. I think he fits that criteria for all of those options. That is Pat Friar Mew. Yes, thank you. Tide end for the Pittsburgh Steelers. For those new to the show. Thank you, Jason. Very important.

Yeah, they'll catch on. Here's the muth. I mean, you talk about a rookie season that was impressive and a situation where, okay, there's not been a lot of chatter about offensive weapons in Pittsburgh, past catching weapons because of the quarterback situation. But look, the muth is friendly to quarterbacks. And he came out as a rookie, only rookie tied in an NFL history with 60 plus receptions and seven touchdowns. You're talking about trying to. Have a shot at eight touchdowns? Well, yeah, I mean, he scored six in the final 10 games played last year. He was great. And if you look at the situation, you say, well, I'm not that sure about Chase Claypool, and I don't know how many snaps George Pickens is going to get. There's a world where, like, it's Deonté, and then the number two target could be Pat Fryermuth on this offense. He saw nine targets inside the 10 zone last year. That was second most at the position. He didn't even turn into an every-down player until...

the back half of the year last year with Eric Ebron on the roster, and he's going to be a very safe target for these quarterbacks. He's got the size. I just think there's a path for Pat Friar Muth to be that Dalton Schultz character and way past all the tight ends that people are pining for. So quarterback-friendly Pat Friar Mew, getting Luth, helping your team. Yeah, I like that. I'm going to go with a guy. When I look at Dalton Schultz, I don't want to take anything away from the guy, but he's just a dude. I wanted to set it up. Is that a callback? Yeah, it was a call back to my Michael Carter. Yeah, I mean, Dalton Schultz is a fine player, but he's not an elite athlete. He's not a Kittle, Waller, Kelsey type of tight-in that just demands it. What happened is he was in an offense that really needed him.

You know, they dealt with injuries and he basically became the number two in that offense. And it reminds me a lot. And I've made this comp for Dynasty in the past of when Austin Hooper for the Falcons was basically what Dalton Schultz is right now for the Cowboys. And then Hooper went off, went to a different team. The situation wasn't as good. He was used more as a run blocker. And, you know, you find out he's just a dude. But it's all coming full circle around because I think Austin Hooper. Now as a Titan could be this year's Dalton Schultz, and he costs you nothing. Sure. You can, we had a 14-team team draft, a deep draft yesterday. Austin Hooper's on the waiver wire. You can go scoop them up for nothing, which means scoop them up. Yeah, go hoop them up off the waiver wire. That means that you can just keep drafting.

positional players, running backs and wide receivers, and get that depth and use your last pick on Austin Hooper. The situation he finds himself in is the team with the most vacated targets in the league, the most vacated air yards in the league. But they're a good team. He's not on a bad team that projects to have no scoring opportunities. So if he becomes the, like Traylon Burks to me is the question. If Traylon Burks is the dude. and he becomes what they traded, you know, A.J. Brown for that first round pick had drafted him. If he becomes a great rookie, well, then it's going to be hard. Him and Robert Woods are probably going to take most of the targets. But so far, Traylon Burks has not been the dude. He has been dealing with conditioning issues and asthma and just been in the doghouse. Look good against Arizona. Absolutely. Listen, I know I'm making the case here for the reality of the Austin Hooper could be the number two.

I just seconds ago drafted Traylon Burks again in Underdog. I actually think Traylon Burks is good and I'm not overblowing the news. But it could take time. It could take time. First half of the year or something like that. And if it takes him a while, then Austin Hooper becomes extremely necessary. They're going to be down near the goal line because of Derek Henry. They're going to have opportunities for, you know, 70 receptions and eight touchdowns or seven touchdowns for Hooper. Look, you know. Just because of the situation. You know Jason's serious about this recommendation because nobody wants to be on public record endorsing Austin Hooper. Not at this age. So, Mike, who's your fantasy time machine selection? I'm going with David and Joku, Cleveland Brown starting the tied end. He has the characteristics of just an athletic super stud. Not the Dalton Schultz. No, not the Dalton Shultz. Not just a guy.

He got the four-year extension. He's only 26 entering his sixth year in the NFL. Oh, you drafted him last night. I did not. Oh, that's right, because I got him. Jason got him before. My plan was going swimmingly, and then Jason Pete and that pool. Can I just ask a question? Because I did the listener league from home. My son is my co-manager. We were drafting together. You two both were in the office, right? Correct. Were you holding hands during this draft? You followed the exact same patterns. We just, we like to win. Yeah. I mean, you both waited. till the very end for quarterback, but then I think you both drafted two quarterbacks back to back. It was ironic. Just taking two shots at the last part of the draft. We did not talk about it. Nope. It just so happened. I don't believe that long. I'm checking the tape. So Injoku last year, fourth in yards per reception at the tight end position, second in yards after catch per reception. Coach Stefanski has said we certainly want to feature David and Joku. I mean, you don't.

They paid him. That's what I'm saying. His situation was so weird and murky, and it didn't seem like they were going to use him. They had Austin Hooper, who Jason just talked about, and it felt like his time in Cleveland was coming to an end. And then they gave him a big bag of money and said that you're the guy. And look at the depth chart. Like, is Amari Cooper still a top tier NFL wide receiver? I think that's highly questionable. I don't. I think that Amari Cooper is falling off. And then Jacoby Percette, this has been an argument that I've made through the offseason. Jacobi Percette hyper targets the tight end position. His two years starting back in Indianapolis, Jack Doyle with his baby hands, was like his go-to target, was either number one or number two in targets, both of the years that he was the full-time started. Last year, we saw Jacobi Percet start five times for the Miami Dolphins.

Tide-ins were targeted over nine times a game. That was a 25% market share. He goes to that position. David and Joku should be at least the number two option. He has a chance, in my opinion, to become the number one go-to option for this team. And he has quite arguably the best touchdown celebration in the NFL with the stomp and the jump split spike. Very important. That has to count for something when you're a quarterback and you want to see the big man get up. And he can only do it if he's scoring the touchdowns. What cracks me up about, and I'm in, like David and Joke is a great option, should probably be on par with the commet kind of late round pick. Yeah. But what cracks me up is that his situation is like if Evan Ingram got re-signed to a giant deal to the Giants. Because they were in the same draft class. Sure. And it's like.

Ingram didn't really work out the way you expected. They let him go. You know, he's on a new team. And Joku didn't go how you were expected. They just like, yeah, you're our guy. Evan Ingram is a name that should be brought up in this situation too. I know, Andy, you don't believe it, but Mike and I both think he has great opportunity, much more athleticism than, you know, my Austin Hooper. You've got a guy who, you know, what is the pecking order of targets there? We expect Christian Kirk to be the number one. It could be Evan Ingram as the next man up for a system and a coach and Doug Peterson who's used tight ends before. He does have the athleticism. And it's ironic because I was looking up a stat for you, Andy, for your Pat Fryermuth, finding out that Pat Fryermuth had the fifth best rookie tight end year in the last decade. The only guys above him are, you know, Hunter Henry and Kyle Pitts, obviously last year had a better one. But the number one.

was Evan Ingram. Yeah. It was a long time ago. I was going to say there's no argument that Evan Ingram is a physically gifted player. Don't get me wrong. My problem is that the storyline for Evan Ingram is the same one that has been there for many years. We've been able to say the exact same thing about Evan Ingram on New York, about targets, about opportunity. It's just repeating that. is too painful for me. I don't want to repeat that line. I want him to make me repeat it. You know what I mean? But you're not wrong. I mean, he will have some opportunity. I don't know how they're going to work other tight ends in in Jacksonville. All he's got to do is learning to catch. That's one of the big things that we're really paying attention to. You can run a really fast 40. He just doesn't close the hands around the football. Needs that stick them. Maybe they didn't have, maybe they're out of stock in New York.

Maybe Jacksonville is where they manufacture some of that stuff. It could be. Get some gator sweat. Maybe it's a little warmer down there. You get the humidity. Oh, yeah. Yeah, if he catches some passes, he'll be great. Yeah, that's an important part for fantasy. Kyle, are you in on the Evan Ingram train? Never. Okay. All right. Nice to have a friend around the office. I think that most of the world is with you. Okay. Yeah, he's undrafted as well. Undrafted as well. That's fair. Although I think Mike took him, didn't he? I did. Final pick of the draft. Yep. Okay. I was waiting for to see what tight end you ended up with. I should have known you had your eyes on your old friend. The rip cord, man.
