If I'm going to have a cheat day or a cheat meal, it was almost exclusively on Sunday and a Sunday night. At a certain time. Yeah, and it was usually Chipotle. I love Chipotle, not a sponsor. But when it timed it up with Iron Thrones or with Game of Thrones, I had my own Iron Throne that I would find the next day. Are we continuing? I mean, you only got what, like six, seven, eight episodes left of the show.

If you don't know who Hollywood Brown is, you will know. You will hear heavy breathing from Jason through the remainder of the off season.

And well into the season. We'll see. We'll see. Here's the quick question of the day before we get into the news and the wide receiver rankings. Are there any NFL teams, are there any NFL wide receiving cores that you are completely avoiding? Some reasons might be, you know, draft cost or player talent or quarterback. Yeah, I mean, we talked last episode that Tyree Kill scored more fancy points than.

It scored three times more fantasy points. Is it three or two? No, it's three times more. Goodness. Then the best receiver on the 49ers and the best receiver on the Washington Redskins. So there are wide receiver cores that are not attractive, right? Like, I'll throw one out there that's not in my list, but it could be. It's like Denver. We don't know what Denver's really going to do. You know, you have Cortland Sutton, Deshaun Hamilton, Emmanuel Sanders, Joe Flacco's there for the first season. I don't really know.

Like Mike Clay came out with some of his projections. It was like, you know, the leading receiver had 700 yards in his projection. And it was Deshawn. It was Deshawn, which made you happy. It made me very happy. Because in that theoretical world, Deshaun won first place of a last place receiving corps. Yeah, if that is your first place, you will be disappointed if that is on your fantasy roster, unless it's dynasty. But who do you have somebody that comes to mind, Mike, Jason? Mike. Yeah, it's Washington.

When they had Alex Smith. Going for the twofer? When they had Alex Smith last year, I'm interested because Alex Smith is a competent quarterback. We've seen him sustain fantasy wide receivers like a couple years ago when he was on the Kansas City Chiefs. But with Rosen, you think they're going to really struggle? Sure. It could be Rosen. I mean, there's a couple guys that could be. It could be Colt McCoy. It could be Case Keenum. But it's looking a little rough.

over in Washington. And when you say you're avoiding a team, we're talking about just a standard size league where you're starting two wide outs, a flex, maybe a five bench spots. Because if you're in a deeper league, of course you're going to take a look at Trey Quinn, who's getting that offseason hype. He's going to be the slot guy. What can Paul Richardson do? He's just a year removed from signing a very large contract for them, but he was banged up for a lot of last year.

But generally speaking, I've seen enough from Washington unless they add a really high profile rookie, but from Doxon, from Richardson, I'm just, I would rather take a shot somewhere else. Yeah, I think Washington is good. Denver that you mentioned is another good one. And I will win. Really? Are you out on, you're out on Sutton? So here, yeah, I kind of am because I'm out on Joe Flacco. See, that's the issue with me. It's, it's really all about the quarterback play. And that's why.

You know, the team that probably has the highest drafted player that I'm out on. John Brown was fine. With John Brown, while Joe Flacco was the quarterback. For a few games. We didn't get a whole season of him with Flacco to see how that worked. But, you know, and that's not really Cortland Sutton's role in the offense. But to me, I know, Andy, you agree with this, but it's Tennessee. I mean, every time, like Adam Humphreys, I was really excited to see where he goes in the offseason until he went somewhere.

And I was like, oh, no. Now I don't want to pronounce anything with an Humphreys. Right. And Corey Davis is, you know, look, he's a highly drafted, both in the NFL and in fantasy guy, a number one wide receiver, still young. And every average draft position list that I do, whether it's dynasty, whether it's redraft keeper, whatever, every time I get to where he should be going, I'm like,

Get out of here. There's no chance I'm drafting him. Yeah, I mean, he will give you a couple of really fun weeks and a lot of frustration. They were bottom five, the Titans in past attempts, the past two seasons. I think that speaks kind of what you're saying. You're going back to the well with Washington because the precedent we've seen. Part of why you might make the decision might not just be, you know, like overall fantasy production. It could also be not knowing how to decide between certain players. You know, some play, like,

I'm probably avoiding Jacksonville. Like it's April. So probably is going to preface a lot of this for me. But Jacksonville, it's like, okay, do I really know who's going to catch the ball? We didn't know last year. You couldn't predict it week to week last year. Do I think it's going to change this year with DJ Shark and D.D.D. and Markey's Lee. Yeah. The thing I will say for Jacksonville. Chris Conley. New quarterback. With Nick Foles there.

I think that someone can actually emerge and have fantasy value, unlike when it was Bortles. I mean, so that's the difference. Maybe we don't know who it's going to be, but I might be willing to take my shot on someone like Didi and just hope I'm going to get some target volume from Poles. Here's the reason I really like the tennis, I really like to not like the Tennessee wide receivers.

And the Jacksonville wide receivers is because look at the two outcomes for that team. Those teams. Let's say it's a successful year. If it's a successful year for those teams, it's because of Leonard Fornett and Derek Henry. It's because they're succeeding running the ball and they are a low pass volume team. They're winning games. You know, everything's going well. And if they don't succeed, then the team is, you know, really trash. I mean, like those are the two outcomes I see.

And both situations are like, I don't really want those wide receivers. Yeah, there's just ambiguity. I mean, there's a common factor here. Tennessee, Marcus Marietta was not healthy, hasn't been healthy. Quarterback issues. Jacksonville, new quarterback, Washington, new quarterback, Denver, new quarterback. No rapport. No established number ones on any of these teams other than you'd say Cory Davis is an established number one. But is he really? I mean, sometimes.

For his team. But all of these situations, could they change? Could the draft change them maybe? Probably, you know. But it's hard to predict. And we're going to talk through some of the 11 through 24 on the show today. So we'll have the opportunity to perhaps talk about a couple of these guys. I am going to get into the news. today that the New England Patriots are signing tight-end Austin, Safarian Jenkins, formerly of the Jags, to a one-year contract. By the way, formerly of the Jags, formerly of the Bucks, formerly of the Jets, formerly of the Jets, formerly of the end zone many times. I'm not very excited about this. How do you guys feel? Oh, I'm super excited about it, but only from a selfish standpoint. My last pick in our startup draft at pick 23 was Ossefarian Jenkins in the hopes that he would go to New England.

You've said this a million times, Andy. You can't just imbue the incoming player with the role that is left. Everyone wants to go, oh, Gronk's gone. Who are they going to replace? You can't, obviously, you're not replacing Gronk with Ossefarian Jenkins. But I do think that the, the just targets that are gone, the opportunity that is there. Austin Sifarian Jenkins feels like he's 32. He's 26. And he's going to a team that utilizes talent. So if he's got talent left.

We'll find out. And if he does have any left, he, I mean, it doesn't take much to be a somewhat relevant tight end as far as streaming. Once you're outside of the top five or six, you just need a guy that can get a few touchdowns or. It's difficult. I mean, Dwayne Allen was 20 something when he went over there, did nothing. They've also been reports lately of them meeting with some higher profile draft tight ends. So.

For now, not really excited. If he earns the starting job, well, then he's relevant. Yeah, it's not very excited, but people have an asking, should I grab, he's on my dynasty waiver. Yes. Yes, you pick him up. Yes. And then news just broke that the giants are finalizing a four-year $41 million extension with Sterling Shepard. Congratulations. So he got paid. Yeah. Dave Gilman said he's the new OBJ.

Don't worry about it, guys. How did he say it, though? This is me, David Kettleman. I don't know, man. No. Sterling getting here. I got 41 smack of roos for you. Thank you. Thank you. It's me, Dave. Yeah, we know it's you, Dave, where I'm in the room with you. Sorry. Sterling, it's me, David.
