You can't possibly call this a vacation because if the wives listen to this recording, of you calling it a vacation, I am going to... You're dead. I will be bodied. We had a business trip. It's a business trip. It was. It was. It was an award-winning business trip. Yes.

And shout out to the Foot Clan, right? Because we were, in fact, able to take home the best social media award from the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, which basically is the award for who's the most active fan base on social media. They still exist, Jason. Wow. I mean, if you need someone to make you knives, he can't do horseshoes. No, he can't. He let us know. No, those would be very uncomfortable for the horse. And him. Just walking on knives. Ah, or the most lethal force of all time. War horse. Sad movie. I mean, we. Why you got to go there? I was going to talk about.

when they put armor onto horses back in the day, why didn't they have, like, put knives on their feet so they can just kick everyone? I wasn't there. They might have. I mean, you know, historians, we need you. Yeah. All right. Let's get into the quick question of the day. We are going to rank some tight ends for dynasty purposes. We're going to start with some older gentlemen, and then we're going to take a look at some younger guys. Rank these three tight ends for dynasty. Jason Moore.

Okay. Rob Grunkowski, who will be turning 29 in May. Travis Kelsey, he will turn 29 in October. And Zach Ertz, he will turn 28 this upcoming November. So for all purposes, he'll be essentially 27 for next year's season, which that number actually.

surprised me. That it's that old, right? Yes. I mean, you look at Zach Kurtz and you think of him as in, you know, he's got three or four more years on top of whatever you would get out of Grunk or Kelsey, not just one more. That being said, this is an easy ranking for me. And we were talking about this before. I don't know your ranking, but when I saw the quick question before the show, I said, oh, this one's super easy. And you thought it was not. I think it's, it's worth talking about. I do believe it's,

easier than most questions, but there are, I think, some arguments. Well, you have a follow-up question that's far more difficult? Yeah, I think so. I would rank them gronk first. Okay. Zach Ertz second, Travis Kelsey third. All right. Now, your eyes went up. Is that different? They did. Yeah. They did. And because I think there's an argument to be made for Travis Kelsey to be number one on this list. All right. Well, this is why we have these questions. Let's dig deep. Why? He's absolutely.

because he's dominant, and while he has an injury history to start his career, since that time, he has been fine. Meanwhile, Rob Grunkowski is a ticking time bomb every single season. He is a ticking time bomb that is a nuclear bomb, though.

That's true. You know, when you have him, he's an, you know, a weapon of mass destruction that can just win you a week, left, right, and center. I mean, we'll get into that this year looking at his production. And I'm going to swing for the fences if I've got, if I'm going to take a tight end or, you know, I, generally if this is a dynasty startup, I'm probably not drafting.

probably any of these guys, to be honest, because I would rather spend the earlier capital on wide receivers and other positions. But I think that Kelsey has change coming up. I mean, maybe he gets better with Pat Mahomes. I'm predicting, I think not shockingly, not a fire take that Alex Smith won't be there next year. Whereas the other two have really solid. We know that Tom Brady is going to play until he's 58.

True. I mean, whose career is going to be over first? Don't or Tom Brady? So I'm not really worried about that. But I'm going to, if I have to pick one of these guys, I want the guy who can truly dominate the position. I love Zackertz. I really like Travis Kelsey, but neither one of them could do what Gronk can do and go out there. I mean, if Gronk had, you know, some crazy 20 touchdown season, no one's going to be shocked.

Zach Ertz isn't going to do that. I think my argument just speaking to Dynasty was the fact that I think Travis Kelsey will be playing longer than Grunk. So if you are trying to go for longevity. Well, and that's where I put, I put Zach Ertz ahead of Kelsey because I think the consistency when you look at how often you get a bust game from a tight end. His franchise quarterback is also.

very young in Zach Erz. Exactly. I mean, you've got continuity with the offense. You've got a year longer of age. You have a lower percentage of bust games. And, you know, when we look at the stats today, you'll see that Zach Gertz, where he falls short of Kelsey is in the big boom games. And that metric that we have established is basically for tight ends. It's 15 points or more.

Zachert's had two games where he was less than half a point away from that. I mean, I know, but I'm just saying you changed that. And he beats him across the board in every metric. I love Zachard. All right. This, this set of three is a bit more difficult. It was a hot topic coming into last off season because this was three first round NFL draft tight ends. Evan Ingram, O.J. Howard.

And David Injoku, and I will say just for the reference of the people, the consensus, not necessarily ours, but just the consensus of the industry. Correct me if I'm wrong, Jason, if you recall differently, it went Howard Injoku.

Angram. That's how these guys generally went in dynasty drafts. Howard was being drafted especially, I don't know where he was in dynasty drafts. In rookie drafts, he was a late first round rookie pit. Yes. Mid to late. If you're just talking a rookie, but I didn't know about startup. But even in redrafts, last year, O.J. Howard was creeping up to that like number 12. And we had them all over the ultimate draft kit as a bust. Do not draft O.J. Howard in a redraft league this last year.

Right now for, you know, if I'm doing a dynasty startup draft, I would rank those three guys. Evan Ingram, who, you know, I know I was lower on going into last year. He was probably my biggest miss at the position. Then I would put Injoku followed by Howard. I would still have Howard third.

Because Injoku showed a lot of what he showed in college in small spurts. And I'm not ever, ever, ever going to be turned off of what I saw in college based on a rookie year performance of tight end. What Evan Ingram did is the outlier. I mean, he had the best tight end rookie season. PPR. Yes, in PPR, since all the way back to Mike Ditka the player.
