Fantasy Football 2018 - Free Agent Predictions & Combine Reactions

Last year, allegedly the new regime believes in Eli Manning. They say he's got another 10 to 12 years. That's the latest report. So it's not bad. That wouldn't be a bad place to go be a backup. All right. Let's talk about AJ McCarran. Jason, you mixed it up here. I thought we were all Cleveland. Mike and I have McCarran going to the Browns. Hugh Jackson this morning reported that he wants to sign Agent McCarran. Jason, you got Buffalo. I don't believe Agent McCarran will get a starting job.

But he will go someplace where he thinks he can be made the starter, just like you just said. The bills don't want Tyrod, or at least it seems like they don't want him to be the starter. So if I was AJ McCarran, I would think I can go take that job away from Tyrod. All right. All right. Drew Brees. Ooh. I just thought I'd throw it. The Arizona Cardinals? Please, please. All right. Man, I was on fire for John Brown for so long, and it never came. It never, you know, his health never got around. Just ashes.

Is just smoke. Burnt to the ground. Oh. And I think that's all you're going to get from. Where there's smoke, there's more smoke. All right. You guys want to guess how old John Brown will be when the season starts? 26. Eight. 28. Whoa. Yes, he's 27 now. Interesting. April birthday. He's done. All right. Now with this pick.

The weight. I don't know. This is interesting. I don't buy this one. I don't either. And, and not even close. If we could check the tape, I really wish we could do that, Brooks. Maybe we will. Last year at this time, I proclaimed Rex Burkhead would be the nobody to somebody and both of you reacted exactly the same. Is that true, Brooks? I looked at the dock to confirm it.

And yes. No, I know you, you had Rex Burkhead, but did we really stop at that? I had Gurley over Burkhead. Yes. As a free, the free agent turning in someone. I think I can remember you getting mocked, Mike. Yes, I was mocked openly. Were you? The goathead. You did talk about when he was in Cincinnati. Because I want to know if I was in on that or not. And I'm going to go with Charles Sims. Wow. Charles Sims, Tampa Bay. Give me a prediction of where he lands then. You got to combine it. For him to be relevant, he's going to have to go someplace where he has a role.

Also, then you give us your John Brown. Sure. I want to hear the John Brown one first. New York. The Jets. Everyone's going to the Jets. Yeah. I mean, I didn't, the thing about these is it's a low probability. So I didn't project him to go to any of these places, but weird things happen. So you think he ends up with a very high reception roll? Yes. Like an 80 plus range. Charles Sims is an excellent athlete. Tennessee.

Yeah, he could, exactly. He could end up somewhere like that because Charles Sims is the type of guy that no one is talking about right now. He is such a weird dude. And I don't mean that as a dis. He just looks weird. Like he's six feet tall but plays that past catching role. He just looks humongous. It's like Cordell Patterson. He's a great athlete. And I think that in the right situation, he could. You talk about but like Buffalo. How old is Charles Sims? 27.

And for this coming year, he will be 28. That's how time works. Sure. My point is his birthday is right as the season begins, Andy. That's, okay. So you, okay? He'll be distracted or what? If his birthday was January, then he would play the entire year. What happens when the clock strikes 12 and he turns 28? Well, to be, maybe he's using our friend Josh's methodology.

That if the season starts on his birthday, he takes three weeks off. You ever known one of these guys that when their birthday comes up? Oh, police. And they're like, I need two days off before it. I need two days off after. And then I need like a foot rub after that. It's ridiculous. I'm going to take two days off. Then I get the weekend. Then I need a couple extra. Just to remember my birthday. Because it's my birthday. It's the day I was born. Hey, Brooks. What'd you do on your birthday? What'd you do? Had some pizza. Yeah? Did you go to work?
