Jason Moore and Mike Wright. Happy Tuesday, everybody. We're back again. I think. I think we're back. Our voices might be a little weak from all that screaming at the Monday night football game. We are the fantasy footballers. This is the fantasy footballers podcast, and we thank you for joining us today this Tuesday. Mike, the fantasy hitman Wright, is here in Body.

2:36 ↗

Yes, I was... Your voice is gone. It'll come back as we go. Wow. I was questionable this morning when I'm powering through, fellas. Is that due to a bratwurst of some sort at the game? No, I have no idea with that. You can't narrow it down to what thing you digested at the Monday night football game? No, but I'm paying the iron price and my voice is going. Wow. Your voice is disappearing suddenly. So, Jason, how are you doing today?

3:04 ↗

I'm doing pretty good, pretty good. Excited to be here. I love waiver shows. That's my favorite show. You're not going through puberty right now. That's good. That's good. Got hair on my back. Yeah, well. I'm not proud of it, but it's a thing. It's like, what's coming out of puberty? Kind of like the opposite where the hair's just growing in places where it's not supposed to grow. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. That's like pre-40s or something. I don't know what that is.

3:33 ↗

Uh, we've got a good show for you today. This is our waiver wire show. So we're going to break down everything you need to know about which guys to grab off your waiver wire. And this is an important time because you might be like me and have a running back core that looked so beautiful before the weekend. And, uh, my running back core was Aryan Foster, Chris Ivory, and Dionne Lewis in one of my leagues. And, uh, and now Aryan is gone.

3:59 ↗

Ivory kind of went down with a quad-related injury, and Dionne Lewis missed the game. So I'm in search for a running back. So guys, I hope you can help me today. Your running back crew was kind of like an impressionist painting where you're from the back and you're like, as we look at your running back crew, we're like, wow. Beautiful. That is gorgeous. And then we get up close and then we're...

4:21 ↗

Wait, what's going on here? This makes no sense. I have no idea what's happening with this running back whore. Yeah. Because I want no part of it. Yeah. So it burned bright for, you know, never really. They were all banged up. So we've got your waiver wire section. We'll go through running backs, but we got a bunch of other names to give you from other positions. We got a news and notes section on the show. And we got our streams of the week at the quarterback position. Did you guys know my stream was Ryan Tannahill last week? I knew that. He was...

4:49 ↗

He was all right. Yeah, he was decent. So check us out on the web at the FFF ballers on Twitter. We're on Facebook.com slash the fantasy footballers. You can check us out on YouTube. But we're only three men. And today we're like two and a half with how Mike is doing. So also I want to remind everybody about join thefoot.com. Our fantasy football community, we have exclusive content over there, including an extra show every single week because five is somehow not enough. No. Not enough for the people. It's not enough for the Foot Clan. Never enough.

5:40 ↗

So let's go ahead and get into the... Oh, you know what? I do have a quick question for you today. Who would you rather have the rest of this season? Demarius Thomas or Immanuel Sanders. Ooh, I like it. I'm going to go with Demarius Thomas. The reason is because I believe the shoulder is something that could prove to be harmful for Emmanuel Sanders. And you've also seen Demarius Thomas...

6:03 ↗

really in his game struggle on some catches. I mean, this is kind of classic DT. He's had some drops that could have been much bigger, but I don't expect that to continue the entire season. So I would take DeMaris Thomas personally. And I wish the shoulder injury wasn't in play here for Sanders because I think it would make it a lot tougher. And just because of the shoulder injury and what we've seen with Randall Cobb, where we thought, okay, well, it's not going to be a concern. And Randall Cobb has simply disappeared.

6:32 ↗

the last three weeks. So because of that, I would lean Demarius Thomas. But let's say they're both fully healthy. It's very, very close because Sanders is bawling out, man. Yeah, I lean the Demarius side because I feel like when these games get clutch, he's shown up when they've needed him. There have been a couple games where the final drive was a lot of Demarius Thomas. But the drops are annoying. I'll give you that. And Peyton Manning's play is annoying.

7:02 ↗

You know, I lean that way, but it's close, like you said. So let's go ahead and get into the news and notes before our waivers section. News and notes from around the league. All right, there was big news in Detroit because they fired their offensive coordinator, everybody's favorite friend, Joe Lombardi. So he goes the way of Joe Philbin. Because if your name is Joe, you're out of here. You got to go. You got to go if your name's Joe. Matthew Stafford's X-rays came back negative.

7:33 ↗

Stafford was on a short list of streamable candidates for me this week. So the change in offensive coordinator is exciting to me. They need to put him in a position to drive the ball downfield to Calvin Johnson, Golden Tate, and make more of their weapons. They need to get the ball in Calvin's hands because...

7:53 ↗

We saw he opened up the game with a huge catch, then a touchdown. And then after that, I think he saw about four targets or so. That was just the finishing touches on Lombardy's time. It was there. The coaching scheme and the offensive play calling was not being imaginative or creative enough to just create a touch for Calvin Johnson. I mean, get him in a situation where you can actually throw in the ball. And we love those deep shots, which was missing.

8:22 ↗

from the Detroit game earlier in the year, but because the offensive line and the run game has created a system where they just, they can't hold the ball of more than two seconds. Yeah, the offensive line coaches were also let go. And I think a big part of this is the fact that the running game hasn't been able to.

8:39 ↗

work at all. The play calling, you know, it's similar to me of what we saw in Miami before Joe Philbin got fired. So I'm curious to see not so much the changes in the passing game, but I'm curious to see what the changes are in the running game. It makes me tempted to do something ugly. The unthinkable. Yeah, do something unthinkable, which is really kind of...

9:03 ↗

hold on to or maybe acquire in a package deal or something or pick up off of waivers, either Amir Abdullah or Joyke Bell. Oh, Joyc Bell's on waivers. Oh, yeah, no, I know. Actually, Joyc Bell is not on waivers. On your team. No, he's not on waivers compared to a lot of guys. Really? Yeah, he's in the high 30s of ownership percentage. Oh, well, wow. Yeah, but you look at these other options. I'm just telling you, people are getting on the train. I mean, they could. They could change things and they could try and go to a workhorse role for Joy, Bell. We'll see.

9:32 ↗

Did you know that Golden Tate is getting nine targets a game right now? Oh, yeah. Why did he catch two for 14? That's my point. It's like where, it sounds like he's been away all year. Big Ben is expected to start in week eight against the Bengals. We'll have more follow up on that, especially on the mailbag show, because people are going to have start-sick questions. Oh, I got Big Ben back, but he's playing the Bengals. Tampa Bay, Buccaneers, wide receiver, Dante Dye will slide into the number three roll because Lewis Murphy's out. I don't care at all. Hey.

10:02 ↗

I don't care. I mean, I care that... For fantasy, we don't care. Well, that's all I meant. I meant... You sound like a cold-hearted snake? No, Louis Murphy goes out once a year every year. No. He really does. He's had potential since the Oakland days, but he's out every single year. He's got just that, I don't know, problem. Mike... It's Aaron Foster. Airy and Foster body. Chris Ivory is dealing with tightness in the quadricep muscle. Well, that's because it is a Tuesday. Yeah, well...

10:31 ↗

His production and fantasy was pretty incredible last week, considering he was on the field for half the snaps and was not himself. So, hey, this is big news. Devante Adams is going to play in week eight, and he is practicing, and that means what exactly for fantasy owners? You grab him immediately. Well, you're not going to be able to grab him, right? He's not on waivers. I'm sure he's on the waivers in some leagues. I'm just saying if he's there, grab him. I've...

10:57 ↗

I like Adams. I feel like the team has really missed. They need him. His presence on the field. I think he slides right back in to an every down role. No, you're right. I mean, he's 50-50 ownership percentage. That's your first waiver-wire pickup right now. He has a really, really good playoff schedule, and I think he's going to be a guy you want on your team. But the next two weeks, really tough for him. He comes out of the buy against Denver, which is terrible, and then goes to Carolina. Yeah.

11:27 ↗

In a couple weeks, I think he's going to be a buy low then. Somebody's going to snag him off waivers and then they're going to sit on some bad numbers for a couple weeks. Next week. And I'd heard a stat from Pro Football Focus. The Packers are running three wide 95% of the time. That's a lot. So Devante Adams is going to be in every down player as soon as he gets back in.

11:46 ↗

Ryan Matthews suffered a groin injury in the week seven game. Believe it or not, he suffered it right before the 63-yard touchdown run. I wish I could run like that with a groin injury. I agree. I think he'll be okay. He's been battling some of that in practice. We'll see how the practice reports turn out. And Josh McCown is considered day-to-day, which could mean that Mr. Johnny football gets an opportunity to...

12:09 ↗

Start against the Arizona Cardinals. My Arizona defense loves that. Yeah, exactly. So any impressions from the game last night real quick before we kind of move on to the Waver Wire? Another classic Ravens mounting a comeback at the end just to fall short. I don't know what's going on with the Ravens. My main thought from the game was that it looked like Justin Forsett is one of their two.

12:34 ↗

weapons. That's it. And while the Arizona Cardinals kind of bottled them up as far as yardage goes, he is clearly a cog of that team. I'm much, I'm very confident in Forset the rest of the way. And I'll say, and Buck Allen looked pretty decent. And if, as a four set owner, I've considered, well, do I drop Buck Allen? At this point in the season, nope.
