Most people are, they're either.

They're hanging in there or they're holding up, but they've never combined before. And that was the first. Why have they never combined? Well, you are the outlier of the group. Well, like, I mean, things, things you need to hold in. You hold it together. You did have Chipoli for lunch. Yeah, that's right. I guess usually when you're holding things in, it's, uh. Yeah, I mean, that's more like, self-control. I need to hold this in.

We'll have to display some self-control on the debates on today's show. All right, this is a very exciting buy-sell for me. This one's tough. Because I kind of want to sit back and hear from both of you before I even speak, in part because I want to be informed. I have Robbie Anderson on one of my Dynasty League rosters, and we are buying and selling whether Robbie Anderson will repeat as a top 24 fantasy-wide receiver. He was 24 last year. Yes. Started so hot.

Absolutely. He started incredibly hot. DJ Moore also came through with a solid fantasy year, wide receiver 22 finish. The thing that was not fully projected for the Carolina Panthers was the breakout campaign from Curtis Samuel, who had 97 targets, was the wide receiver 25. However, he has received a payday and he has moved on to Washington. So that changes the situation drastically for Carolina.

A lot of targets. That's a lot of targets that are available. Now, Christian McCaffrey is going to come in and soak up probably all 97 of those targets. But the biggest change is not actually Curtis Samuel. The biggest change is going from Teddy Bridgewater, who was fine.

Not good enough for Carolina, apparently, as they spent the entire off season. As soon as the season ended, they're like, okay, we've got to figure out how we're going to replace Teddy Bridgewater. And they finally ended up kind of overpaying, in my opinion, for Sam Darnold. Is Sam Darnold that much better than Teddy Bridgewater? Any better than Teddy Bridgewater? Okay. That's also another question. I'll throw another question out there before you guys weigh in with your official buy sell, which is.

How much of what we saw in the utilization of Robbie Anderson last year. I mean, 95 receptions is a lot of receptions. This was not Robbie Anderson of the New York days where it was a deep ball specialist and a big play. This was, he was a PPR type of player. How much of that was a smart coach and Matt Jow Rule utilizing Teddy Bridgewater to his strength, which is being a short area type of quarterback? Or.

Is this the scheme? Is this what he wants to do with Robbie Anderson? Now, if we have a, if we're going to presume smart head coach for Matt Jarlal, what is the strength of Sam Darnold? Who? Well, he'll need to figure that out. Yeah, we're going to have to see how smart. I can't tell you what it is. So I'll hop in here. Except that one throw that we just keep showing over and over on Twitter. It's very good. That one throw. Um, it.

I'll hop in because I'm a strong buy. I believe that this is a clear buy. We just made our wide receiver rankings, went through those in preparation for next week's shows, and he is in my top 24 hours. Is DJ Moore in there? Yes, he is also in there. The way that I view it is this. I do think Sam Donald could be an upgrade, but at worst, I don't think there's going to be any kind of a downgraded situation.

Robbie Anderson's a good football player. He is a good wide receiver. And when you've got a guy who has done it deep down the field and now has shown that he can do it, you know, PPR style. Right. He's just a quality wide receiver. You have Curtis Samuel leaving. You have the rapport with Donald coming in. And you have the fact that last year, I mean, he only had three touchdowns. He was a top 24 wide receiver with.

crazy inefficiency when it comes to the amount of yardage, you know, he had over a thousand yards and only three touchdowns. That's anomalous. So I don't see any reason with more opportunity for targets, the potential for better quarterback play and being a good wide receiver, that he would fall out of that for me. Well, it's funny is I remember doing the weight for when will Robbie Anderson score another touchdown because he scored week one, didn't score again until week 12. I mean,

Robbie Anderson did his best Robert Woods impression last year in terms of 95 receptions, just 1,000 yards, three touchdowns. Are you a buy, Mike? Oh, man. It seems like it should be a slam dunk. That offensive scheme, Robbie Anderson, theoretically, getting even more targets. Do you like them more than Cortland Sutton coming back in Denver? Oh, that's a very good question. I think Cortland Sutton is a much better.

wide receiver. I think Robbie's a fine player, but I think Cortland Sutton is special. But Cortland Sutton has a Drew Locke problem. I'm going to sell the top 24. And I don't know that the touchdowns are anomalous. Jay, I know that, like, you know, statistically, yes, his, you know, yards to how many touchdowns on average. But when you see that over 53% of his targets were a depth of target of short of 1 to 10 yards, like he was a...

He was a slant and drag master. He killed people across the middle of the field, but when everything is short, your opportunity to break off a long touchdown, it's just, it comes way down. Sure, and I completely get that, but I'm not talking about him going out and putting up double-digit touchdowns. I'm just talking about him going from three to six or seven, and that's where he's lived most of his career. Is he happy that Sam Darnold's there? I think so, yeah. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.

I mean, it's just strange to see a player completely used a different way and still succeed. I mean, that speaks to Robbie Anderson's ability, I think. He didn't come in. You know, we thought maybe a deep specialist in Carolina.

came in and became their most go-to receiver. I mean, when they needed a catch. He has rapport with this staff from college. They worked together. And what that staff clearly tried to do this last year is we need to get the ball in Robbie Anderson's hands. That's why I believe it was short. I don't think it was just Teddy Bridgewater and the scheme fitting. I think they were just manufacturing touches for Robbie Anderson. And they could do that in better ways this here.

Yeah. All right. I guess I will officially buy. I think it's just inside that area, 20 to 24 range, but I can't see his, I don't see his production as strange from last year. And losing Curtis Samuel, I imagine he's in the 90 to 100 reception total range again. All right, that was buy yourself from pristine auction, pristine auction. Great friends of the show. Music for this one. I will say this, though. The reaction on social media was intense. They're aware that we're not the, you know, I'm not the biggest James Connor fan. I don't think it's that bad for Arizona as a team. I mean, you needed, you're not going to succeed this year going into it with Chase Edmonds and nobody else. Cardinals do not have a lot of draft capital to potentially invest on a running back. Right.

So James Connor fits the bill. I mean, I said it on another podcast two weeks ago, of a complimentary back to Chase Edmonds. The bill is what is nice about it. He came in at $1.5 million. I think it was $1.25. Yeah, it wasn't a big contract. So to which now there is debate, I know even internally in the office, as to.
