There was one thing. Yeah, I went to a big party. It was at your house, Andy. It was. There were so many children there.

We have a lot of kids. We have way too many children. We did it. Oh, man. So how do we want to do this? For those who watched the podcast awards, that's what we're talking about here. We're talking about podcast awards. Those who watched the show, you made it through. You were with us. You experienced it in the moment. Thank you so much. As well as a monster thank you for all the votes.

We don't win. We don't win unless the Foot Clan gets out there and supports the show. So this is a victory for all of us. And that sounds maybe cliche or whatever. But I really, really mean that, that this was a victory for all of us. And it was just an unbelievable moment.

And so you guys, you took to the streets, you voted for us. We didn't know the results until last night. And I think we have a re-enactment. I'd love to do a reenactment. The fantasy footballer. Oh, man, it was, it was unbelievable. It was, as Jason would say, be nanas. It's interesting because you listen to this show all the time, right? And you can tell that Jason, Mike, and myself are very different personalities. We're all unique and different. We are not the same. And that, that totally shows itself in the anticipation.

for the podcast awards. Me, I'm the planner, right? I'm the organized planner. I wanted to get upstairs, make sure Skype was set up in case we won. Got to be ready. I don't want to be downstairs. I will say this too. There are a number of podcast hosts from other big shows that have reached out and said congratulations to us. And they were so impressed that somehow a football podcast could pull off a victory in people's choice in the month of June before the season's even here. And on that note, I just want to say, you know, our foot clan, our listeners, you guys right now, you listening, we have said, you've heard me say plenty of times before that we have the best.

All right, let's go through some of this coach-speak-esque discussion here. Discussion points. That's where we are in the off-season. Is this name correct, Tim 20man? You know it. That's his name? That's a copy-paste. All right. Tim 20man... Directly from the source. Of the Lions website expects Amir Abdullah to get, quote, every opportunity to carry, quote, most of the load, unquote.

in the Detroit backfield. That's interesting news. No. I think it's interesting. Okay. If you think it's interesting, tell me the hypothetical opposite of this. The opposite is they... That he would not get every opportunity? Is that they come out and they say that they're going to completely spread it around. They're going to, that Theoretic is going to be highly involved in passing, which we know he will be, but for them to come out and say that...

to focus on Abdullah when they have Zenner, they signed Stephen Ridley, to single him out and say, we're going to give him the chance to be the guy. That's news to me. But this is an expectation from a beat writer. So I would just pull it back with, let's wait and see. I think we all are curious what Abdullah would do with that load. Are we not?

Extremely. I am. He was great down the stretch. I mean, he was over four yards of carry. It was a smaller sample size, of course. But I think when given the chance, Abdullah himself is a smaller sample size. He is a smaller running down. He is a little bit smaller, but I think that he has the talent to get it done. Yeah, just today we put out an article on the website about running backs that could make a tier jump up.

And one of those running backs was Amir Abdullah. It's because of things like this, the reality that there is a world where he gets the entire workload without Joyke Bell there and now has dealt with his fumbleitis or the problems that he had. Well, you're hoping he will, you're saying. Right. I'm saying there's the world where that exists. Oh, okay, okay. Yeah. I thought he said he had already done it. In the world. No. Abdullah doesn't fumble anymore. It's great. Yeah, he repeated. I remember how on cloud nine you were.

Week one with that cut. Oh, that was the preseason. Oh, my good. That preseason cut sent his ADP up at least three rounds. Yeah. One cut to rule them all. The cut heard around the world. All right. Let's talk about what I find to be slightly more newsworthy here. Sammy Watkins was noncommittal about his status for training camp. Yeah, look, Sammy Watkins was adamant. I will be ready for training camp with the foot problem.

And now he's like, well, you know, maybe I'll be ready to start week one. That's not good. That is not good. That is concerning for a player who is an elite level wide receiver. But if you're going to spend a second or third round pick on a guy, you want to know that he's going to play week one. I actually like this news. Oh, for Sammy Rockins. Yeah. Let me give you a different take. No, it's the fact that.

With a foot injury like this that we've seen from other wide receivers, the problem is always on that first time when they come back too early. And when he was saying, like, I promise I'm going to be there week one. I was worried because that was right in the time frame of where, like, if you say when can you come back, that was like the soonest you could come back from that surgery depending on when the date it was done. If we were right on our believed date of the operation.

So I would like to see him take a couple more weeks and make sure he's fully healthy because Sammy Watkins, if he plays a full 16, is going to be great. The question is really his health to me. This will lower his draft value. Great. Give him to me. So you're not worried about setbacks even if he takes his time. I think we're going to see the setbacks before I draft. You know what I mean? Training camp might be over, but if I'm drafting in August, I'm going to have an idea of he's back, he's running.

He's healthy, you know, on the field today in practice. And so then at that point, I won't have any problem drafting. All right, NJ.com expects giant second round receiver, Sterling Shepard, to be, quote, an instant impact player. Where do you guys have Shepard projected? Do you buy into the hype around him? And what does that even mean if he's second-filled Odell Beckham Jr.? I buy in that he can have an instant impact as far as he will be an instantaneous starter week one. He will be the slot guy for the Giants.

I don't have a huge projection for him. He's a guy that I'm willing to take a shot on towards the back of the draft, but I'm not expecting wide receiver two or probably even wide receiver three steady numbers from him. I love Sterling Shepard. He was my favorite wide receiver coming into the draft before they went to the teams that they went on. But that was just from like a film watching. When it comes to fantasy football, his ability, I have him right now.

down for 70 catches, 750 yards, and five touchdowns. Those are pretty darn good numbers for a rookie, but... That's like your 53rd. That's exactly what I was going to say, is that those type of numbers, they sound good for an incoming rookie who's going to be, you know... Sounds great. Possibly in the slot. Exactly, but it's not really the fantasy gold that you think you're getting from those numbers. It's kind of...
