been holding him out. He's not going to come back and be, you know, half injured. They're waiting until he's completely ready to go. So if he plays this week, he's going to be fine to play against the Titans. They've still got all the offensive weapons. And all of a sudden, you've got Andrew Luck, week 17. He's the type of guy that grab now and just see what happens during practice so that if the report comes out, you don't have to grab him later, you know, just a big name that's not normally there. And I want to throw out.

We don't know who it will be yet, but Texans QB against Jacksonville. The Jacksonville defense allows lots and lots of points. And Brian Hoyer, we've seen him be great when he starts for fantasy purposes. And we saw Brandon Whedon. Brandon Whedon put up a very good fantasy game. You give him the Jacksonville defense. And...

If you got some rough options, I'm okay doing it. I would start Brian Hoyer, no problem. I would not start Brandon Whedon. That would just be me personally. If he's the starter there, there is risk involved. I think there's plenty of other good options that I would rather have. One being Alex Smith, taking on Oakland, if they need, you know, this is a potential division winning type of game. This season for the Chiefs is kind of reflective of a lot of our listener seasons, myself included.

They started off one in five. If they win, if they win the division, if they win and the Broncos lose, they win the division. That's like the greatest division comeback that we've seen, or one of the best ever. One in five, I have to be. To 11 and five. They were a dumpster fire. They were who you wanted to play. We were talking, you know, come week six. Well, the defense just wasn't their defense. Week six, we were talking about how you want to play against the secondary of the chiefs. And now all of a sudden it's like, well, stay away from that. Tell me that one or both of you have seen.

The dabbing Andrew Reed. Oh, I've seen it. I've seen it. You saw Andy Reid go into the middle of the locker room? He threw some sleep. He threw some shade. He did. It's worth watching. I did love the Julio dab against Carolina. And then Ryan Fitzpatrick also is an option for you, a quarterback takes on Buffalo this week. Humongous came for them. And he's just got it done. I mean, he's got these receivers and they're really good.

And he throws him the ball. You might have heard of him. Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker. Just a great pair. We talked about this yesterday. I mean, they really are a complete team. They're the type of team that, okay, they don't look elite necessarily because they haven't really put together, you know, these blow everybody out of the water, you know, blow somebody good out of the water type of games. But they have a defense that's getting healthy and got healthy.

Revis is back out there. They have a pass rush. They have a secondary. They have an offense that has weapons. They have multiple options. Now the Belal Powell has been just great for them as another option in the running game that can catch the ball and do things out of the... Fitzpatrick runs the ball. They have decent, you know, offensive lines, defensive lines, running game, passing game, pass rush and secondary. That's...

Checks everything. I don't know how their special teams are, but the rest is great. Well, the special teams are great, especially with coin flips. They can manipulate the outcome to their... You will kick the ball. All right, who are some defenses people can grab and win their Week 17 championship with? I only have a couple on this list. I like the Cowboys this week. They have a pretty solid defense, and they're taking on...

The Washington team that may not be fielding 11 players. Cowboys defense is real. It's legit. It did it again this week. Especially when Sean Lee is playing, that's a different defense. But it's going to be Colt, likely to be Colt McCoy. And who knows? And some bodies and some cadavers that Washington throws out there. I'm going to throw D out there. Just to pay attention to it. Let's hear it. The Titans.

Oh, oh, if it's Stephen McGee. Stephen Morris. If it's a fourth string quarterback, the Titans defense isn't that, you know, isn't terrible in the right matchup. That's a great play. I hadn't thought of that one. So that's somebody to think about. Did you mention San Francisco? Not yet. San Francisco and the Rams, both of these defenses could be good options. Yeah. I would probably lean to the Rams, but if you are, if you're,

grabbing at straws, both of these guys could have a great game. I think the Steelers could have a good game. You know, they have to win and they... Who are they playing? They're playing the Browns. Even. Yeah. They disappointed me last week. I can't recommend the Steelers because... They go back and forth, so this is their bounce back. Wow. Except for last week they were out home. Are they against Baltimore and they gave it up? No, they were away, weren't they? They were home. Yeah, they were home against Baltimore. Oh, yeah, they were.

So anyways, it's still... They were on the road. They were on the road. I'm pretty sure. You can vet me. They are definitely on the road last week. Remember we were talking about Big Ben doesn't have multi-touchdown games on the road this season? I think you're right, huh? Yeah, he was on the road. They were on the road. No, you're on the road. And that's Sammy Biscuits. Samuel J. Biscuits, Sam Bradford. You know, he's had a very disappointing season. I think that name had anything to do with his disappointing season? Yeah, gravy's been poured all over him. Here's a deal with Sam Bradford. He has more receivers drop the ball than I have.

ever just watched. I don't think they're leading the league in drops, but they're leading the league. They have to be leading the league in egregious drops. Drops where he just hits people in the hands and they drop the ball. That being said, you're talking about two weeks in a row where he has over. They're number one in the league and drops. Oh, well, there you go. Sam Bradford watches Mike Evans playing. He's like, I want that guy. I want that guy. He can catch the ball. He can catch it sometimes. But Sam Bradford has back-to-back weeks.

over 360 yards through the air. You don't even need touchdowns when you're throwing 360 yards. And when you do throw 360 yards, you're generally throwing a couple touchdowns in that mix as well. Their run game is just imploded on itself. And they're facing the New York Giants who have been one of the worst teams against the pass this year. So I think Sammy Biscuits is a guy that you can pick up off of waivers, play, and he's the type.

where you could get that 35-point game and have this big monster game. Just for fun, by the way, they're the worst in the league and drops. They drop 6% of their passes, their targets. Who do you think the best? Who drops the least? It's tough to guess. Best hands in football. Well, it's a team. There's a team staff. Seattle. Baltimore. Baltimore? Would you believe that? It has a lot to do with a short passing game.

Still, guys drop short passes. Only 11 drops for Baltimore all season. Where's Seattle on that list? Seattle is very close to that. They're 12. 12 drops in the season. So, yeah, pretty impressive. So I'm going to, I like Jason's call there. What's funny about that is you have the Giants in Philadelphia, a game that there is there are no implications whatsoever. But that's a game that I...

actually want to watch. I think there could be some points put up there. Yeah, start Eli if you got Eli. It could be fun. I'm going to go with Alex Smith. He's taken on Oakland, and Oakland is having some problems here towards the end of the year. The last time that he took on Oakland, he only threw for 162 yards, but that included two touchdowns, and he ran one in. And we saw that Alex Smith is just, he continues to run. Six for 54.

on the ground last week. I mean, that's a touchdown. Essentially, he ran for an extra touchdown with a chance of always running one in. So I think that Alex Smith is a decent streamer this week. Alex Smith is the guy I want to start if I am favored and have match-up advantages in other positions. And then you know you're going to get something good for. Alex Smith certainly has a ceiling that he can reach. I just think that he has a pretty nice floor this week as well. All right. I'm going to...

Cheat a little bit, and I'm going to go with Matt Ryan. I know he's owned in a little bit, in more leagues than Alex Smith than Sammy Biscuits, but, you know, Matt Ryan had an okay game last week, really kind of put together his most complete game of the year from start to finish as they upset Carolina. And, you know, he faces New Orleans. You know, Bortle's just...

lit up New Orleans. We know what New Orleans defense can do. We know what their offense can do. This game could be more of a higher scoring game. And so I like Matt Ryan as somebody who, whether he's on your bench or the waiver wire, somebody that you could roll out there and kind of have a better game from. And like Mike said, they might target Huluo even more trying to get him the reception's record. I like it. I believe he needs 16. 16 would get him the record. That's a tough cookie to crumble.

If you will, is to get 16 catches. Try again. Try again. That's a tough egg to crack. There you go. 16 catches? Yeah. Has he done that this year? I highly doubt it. 16? That's a lot. Well, he does have the third most in NFL history. He's done 13. He's done 13. The beginning of the year, the beginning of the year, you could bank on 10 plus catches for him. Impressive year, 127 catches so far this season.

Unfortunately, for me, I made this comedy yesterday. I've been an owner of Julio Jones in our League of Record, and his big games have never helped me. Like, this one happened one week too late for me because I was in semis against Jason last week. And then his other ones were at the very beginning of the year.

and they just happened to not help me, and then he had all these games where he couldn't score. So salty. He's scored in two weeks. So salty. All right, you're right.
