I think for me, it lowers a little bit all of the guys there. I think that Joseph Randall is going to get maybe two less carries and he wasn't going to get a boatload already. So we're not talking drastic things where it's going to affect the Dallas running game hugely, but it's...

It's going to give it a little tiny minus symbol on whatever it was. That's my opinion. Now, if someone goes down, you know, if Joseph Randall goes down, you know, then maybe Chris and Michael becomes relevant. I'm grabbing Michael everywhere. As long as I have... You are? Yes. As long as there aren't a... If I have a cheap guy, my last pick that I wasn't very happy with to cut, I will cut him, I will grab Michael, and I will hold on to him. Now, this is not a week one proposition.

This is a long-term hold. You are holding him for probably five to six weeks to really know if Michael can take the job. And I think he has the talent to do it. I have not believed in Joseph Randall. I've said all off-season that I think somebody will show up and be the leading rusher on the Dallas Cowboys. And I think Christine Michael can be that guy. Yeah. I mean, obviously you've been saying that for a long time. So let me...

If that's your belief, he's essentially one of those handcuffs you grab for the injury in front. Let me ask you some guys, and I'll compare those type of guys. And you tell me, would you cut this guy in the same exact situation for Chris and Michael? James Starks. Yes. Nile Davis. If I have Charles, then maybe I don't. Let's say on all of these teams, you don't have the starter. Then I would cut Charles, yes. Ronnie Hillman. I would cut Ronnie Hillman. Would you rather have West?

In Tennessee? Not West. Or Michael? I would rather have Michael. Oh. Damien Williams. You wouldn't cut West to get Michael, but you'd rather have Michael? No, I was misunderstanding you. I would cut Terrence West to grab Michael, yes. Damian Williams. I would rather have Michael. So essentially, Kristen Michael. It's all because of the potential to start. That's all the reason is. He's not a handcuff in Mike's eyes. Correct. And I don't, and all those other guys are handcuffs as they have a guy in front of them who is established.

who, unless injured, the handcuffs will not see time. I think Michael can earn his way into being the starter. So, okay, that's a good perspective on Michael. When all of these bits of news take place over the weekend, and there's a lot of things happening, Twitter kind of explodes, and Twitter wants to find a diamond in the rough. And so James Jones signs with the Packers.

People want to know, is this, is he going to be the guy to own instead of Ty Montgomery or Jeff Janice? In my opinion of James Jones is identical to my opinion of Hakeem Nix, and it is that they are done. They are done as professional football wide receivers. I don't see it. I mean, if there was a place he could do it and have small contributions, it's a team that just lost Jordy Nelson and he's been on before. But I certainly am not.

picking up any shares of James Jones in any of my leagues. Do you guys have differing opinions on James Jones? I think he could be valuable in the red zone. We saw that before. But I agree he's lost a lot of what he had. So he's not going to be the same guy. You know, people are saying, oh, the touchdown vultures back and he's going to come and get eight or nine touchdowns. I think he'll, I think he might grab, you know, four or five touchdowns, but that's like cap. I don't see him doing more than that. The last time he played for the Packers, which was a full season.

was 2013 and he had three touchdowns. There you go. And so he's 31. I think he's insurance. That's what I think. Yeah. And I think that he can hurt or I think he does hurt the potential stock of Montgomery and Janice coming in. It wouldn't surprise me if James Jones becomes the three. Does he hurt Cobb or Adams at all? No, not at all. But I think he can move up.

because he's the veteran. He knows the system. He should be, as long as he's in physical shape, he should be able to plug in right away. Now, let me ask you one more question, Mike. And for some people who love Fred Jackson, not naming anybody, but this could be really great because we know he poisons all of the running backs ahead of him. So this is really bad for Marshall. We know that. We know we've tracked. We've got a private eye on it. He kicked Michael out of town already. Ooh, look at that. That's doing work. Michael's gone. Turban's gone. Yeah.

So Marshawn Lynch owners, grab Fred Jackson. So that is something you should do. Yeah, honestly. If you've got Lynch, grab F. Jacks. What do you guys think of Fred Jackson in Seattle? I think he's worthy of being rostered, you know, the same way that Cameron Artis Payne or, you know, all those other handcuffs we were mentioning are worthy of being rostered. However, he's not a guy that you need to pick up. It's not a guy that you need to be like, ooh, maybe, you know, seventh round. I can, you know, it's like he's.

He's just a handcuff, I think. I think he's a handcuff plus. And so what do you think of Rawls? Then the undrafted free agent, clearly they like him up in Seattle. They got the turban kind of hurt his way out, but they trade to Michael. And Rawls is in that lynch mold of running back.

I think he's in the Michael plan of running back, which is you've got a guy because you need a guy and he probably won't be used very much, especially with Fred Jackson there. Fred Jackson is one of the most trustworthy, third down, blocking, pass-catching backs. I think he had the best hands in football last year on third down. I think Fred Jackson can contribute on that team. And when you have a backup...

on a good team, that's my backup plus qualification. When you have a backup that's on a team that moves the ball, Josh Robinson is somebody that I think needs to be. I mean, we talked about him months ago as what I thought was the, you don't spend that kind of a pick on a guy that you don't believe it, and he was looking good in camp. And so they chose to go with Josh Robinson. So I think he's a backup plus as well because they're Colts. The Colts and Seahawks can move the ball. Do you think Fred Jackson steals any third down work? I think he will be in on third down about as.

often as Turban was on third down, which was sometimes. I mean, he was on the field, but he'll do more with it than Turban would have. So lots of news breaking. And honestly, one of the biggest things in fantasy football for years has been the biggest thing to me is getting news the fastest because it actually matters on whether you win or lose your fantasy league. Because if you find something out before somebody else, that means you can run to waivers and sign a guy. And so...

I realize none of those are too pretty, but I appreciate it if you can help me identify.

One, we should think of week one flex play. All right. Can we answer this question for him? I don't think he's right. I think there is a pretty option. CJ Spiller. Well, I think there's one other option that's not too bad. Yeah, because he might be available week one is. Yeah, that's a good point. That would be the first thing to say. Okay. Let's hear it. Alan Robinson. I think Alan Robinson is a viable flex play. That's where I would go. So that would be my pick for your team unless, yeah.

Yeah, I think that's it. All right, Chad in San Antonio said this. He said, hey, guys, I drafted Antonio Brown with my first pick this year for my standard league team. He also picked up Martavis Bryant late because he had heard us talk Martavis Bryant up. Yeah, well deserved. Yeah, so he wants to know what he should be doing when Martavis Bryant gets back.

Do I keep Bryant and play two wide receivers from the same team at that point, or do you wait and use him for a potential trade? What are your thoughts here, Mike? Because there are other combos in the league we're probably more comfortable with, or we would consider rolling out, like Jordy and Cobb, had Jordy been healthy? Would you do this, or would you kind of look to trade him? Well, first off, you're going to have to wait four weeks to, you can field some trade offers. If somebody comes in and...

and kind of blows you away with the trade? Yeah, I would do it. Bryant isn't an untradable piece, in my opinion. But when he does come back, I'm not plugging him into the lineup immediately. I want to see, do they, does he kind of get punished there up in Pittsburgh as he slowly worked in, or do they throw him immediately back out? And I guess a good indicator of this is how well does Wheaton play in the first four weeks? If Marcus Wheaton is doing great,

as the two to replace Bryant, then Bryant is going to see the field a little bit less. If Wheaton falls on his face, then Bryant could be back in quicker than we thought. I agree with that. I think the Wheaton piece is huge because they're talking him up and giving him the opportunity. And so if he has a good four weeks, the snap percentage will not be what we thought it would be for Bryant at the beginning of the year. Well, I mean, even in preseason, though, Martavis, Bryant's been in the third spot.

the whole time, and he was tearing it up in preseason. I expect no matter what Wheaton does, Brian's going to come in and be in the third spot. I don't think it's going to really change the snap percentage, and I think he's going to be good. So I would be comfortable starting them in week five, but I definitely would look to trade either of those guys when they come back just for value because you'll get something.
