Certainly better for James Starks and James Starks owners. And we'll come back around to that. Maybe later in our starts of the week. Wow. Oh, that was impressive. Thanks. Every once in a while people ask us if we are the drops, like the voice for the drops. And I always wonder how they possibly think that. Oh, I would say the answer is, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's us. We just take turns. There's a concoction of eight or ten medicines we take.

14:34 ↗

You put a few filters in front. Well, you know, it's that, have you ever seen the, when they do the science experiments and they, not the helium, but I can't think of what the gas is. Oh, the one that goes the opposite way? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. We got to get that in here. I mean, I want to do a whole show. Yeah, we do. That'd be awesome. It's very funny if you want to Google that. I have never seen that. All right. Let's talk.

14:57 ↗

Quickly about the coveted Titans running back situation, David Cobb has been activated from injured reserve. I would expect Bishop Sanky to be a healthy scratch, if not. Which is just gnarly. Yeah, yeah, that's not good. First running back in the draft. And every chance under the sun to be the guy and just isn't the guy. Sorry, Bishop. Also, any hope for Cobb with Antonio Andrews playing okay? Zero hope for Cobb this week. I mean, they're playing Carolina, so you don't want to touch it.

15:26 ↗

All right, Josh McDaniel said James White will have the first crack at opportunity in the wake of the Dionne Lewis injury. I do not have high expectations, and I spent $11 a fab to sign James White. I felt like I had to. It's worth it, though, to me to take that bridge. He is a second year guy, so at least he's not somebody who's been kind of like middling for five years, and then we're like, oh, no, you know he has nothing. Maybe somehow.

15:50 ↗

He produces. Jason, you were saying that Brady had good things to say about him in the off season. Actually, last year in the off season, Brady doled out some just incredible statements on White, just loved him, said he's, you know, an amazing player. I believe he dropped an F-bomb in there. So, yeah, you definitely have the what-if opportunity chance of James White taking over the role and being great. He's one of those players that has

16:20 ↗

really not been the same with pads on as he has been in practice. And so that's what you wonder is, you know, is he going to get... He's putting them on wrong. Right. And shoulder pads on your knee pads. That's been my problem. That's what held back my NFL career. As soon as the pads went on, I was slower by at least five seconds. I kind of imagined, like, you made the team, you went to put the pads on, you couldn't get them on, you just left the locker room and you never played another game. I looked very similar to Sam Bradford in his shoulder pads.

16:49 ↗

Yeah. Did you have the deer in the headlights face permanently inside the helmet? Oh, and there was a guy who would just follow me with like a trombone and a tube. He was like, boom, boom, boom. Oh, that was Joach Bell. All right. Malcolm Floyd, the shoulder injury looked terrible, torn labrum, thought he'd be out for the year. Now he says he's going to play through it. Yeah, good luck. Believe it or not, now that we're talking about our football experience, that's, I've experienced that injury and played through it. Oh. At quarterback.

17:19 ↗

Tough guy. But I wasn't fully torn. I'm not feeling good about Malcolm Floyd moving forward. No, there's too many options. David Johnson. Antonio Gates, man. As long as he can get right. I have noticed that there has been something lacking from Antonio Gates game. I don't know if you guys have noticed when you're watching him. It looks distinctly like there is a missing MCL from his game. Big part of his game. Big part.

17:46 ↗

He's missing it. Yeah, no MCL. All right, Alan Hearns news, guys. This is actually really important. Up in the air if he's going to play against the Ravens. Oh, that sucks. And of all the matchups. I know. Yeah, that sucks. Man, the target monster is going to go nuts. Are you starting Robinson over your other guys? He is my number one wide receiver this week of all. You do that with your team? You got two wide receivers to start. No, no, I'm saying.

18:08 ↗

I'm putting him in my one spot. Yes, yes. On my team, I'm promoting you, Captain. Every week on my fantasy football roster, I make power rankings of just my players. I talked to them. I've got pictures printed out, and I give them coaching. Yeah. No, but if all wide receivers, go to the fantasy footballers.com, go to our rankings. Oh, he's your number one one? He's the number one one. Oh, you know what was kind of crazy about our rankings is that you and I had, and if you go on there, I always look for the divergences. Me too. Alexon.

18:38 ↗

Alshan Jeffrey, who's on your team, you're a big Jeffrey guy. I love Jeffrey. I have him really high. I'm in number one. You have him at 25. Yeah, I need to move him up just a little bit. When I saw my rankings, I was like, he's not past a wide receiver too, but I don't love. His matchup's not great. Yeah. I just kind of, that's just where I had him statwise. So I do want to take a second and thank today's sponsor, Audible. Guys, we've all used Audible for many years. For years. We used to have pretty significant commutes.

19:08 ↗

Each of us did. And Audible is amazing. Audible is your source for audiobooks and audio content. 180,000 audio programs from leading audiobook publishers, broadcasters, entertainers, magazines, newspaper publishers. All the way through, you're going to find everything you want to listen to on Audible. They have free apps.

19:28 ↗

for the iPhone, the iPad, Android, and Windows phones. So you can listen to it wherever you're at. You can download and listen on those devices. And they are unlike any streaming or rental service with Audible, you own the books. And here's something really cool that they do. They have a bunch of neat features in the apps. But here's something else they have. They have the Great Listen Guarantee. You guys know what that is? Well, it sounds pretty good. With Audible's Great Listen Guarantee, you cannot go wrong because if you decide you don't like the book, no worries.

19:58 ↗

You just exchange it. Exchange the book for something else. If you're not happy with the title, go get something else. No questions asked. And like I said, they have a bunch of really neat features inside the app. So here's what we need the Foot Clan to do. If you want a free 30-day trial, you can get yours right now by signing up at audible.com slash ballers. That's all you got to do. It takes a couple seconds. Check it out. Improves your commute. If you like sitting around the house, I was looking for these headphones that you can listen while you're laying down in bed.

20:26 ↗

You know, those like headband headphones. This would be amazing with that. So check it out. Audible.com slash ballers. We'd also like to thank our other sponsor of the day, Fandual. Fandual.com, you've heard us talking about them because they are the leader. The leader in one week fantasy football. Look, the money is real. They're expecting to pay out over $2 billion this year. That's a lot of kish. A lot of kish. And building a team is easy. Just pick your players. Stay under the salary cap. You want some help picking your players?

20:56 ↗

Guess what? Tomorrow, Chris Meaney, Daily Fantasy Sports expert, it's going to come on. It's going to give us some fantastic knowledge, great players to grab. It's going to help you get in on that keesh. He loves keesh. I want some keesh. Oh, that's Chris Meany's favorite. I'm going to ask him about it tomorrow. And you know what else? It's not just football on there. The NBA is here too. You want to get in on that basketball? Do you know basketball? Go prove it at fandual.com. This is what we need.

21:25 ↗

21:53 ↗

where it can finally pay to be a fan. That's F-A-N-D-U-E-L.com. Sign up today, promo code, Ballers. Yes, we want to thank Fandil for that. And obviously, we are not ignorant of the things that are taking place in the DFS world. You guys have seen the news and you know what's going on. But we want you to know, too, we're going to have, if you're kind of confused about any of that stuff, we're going to have somebody on the show.

22:15 ↗

to talk through some of those issues and lay out the facts so that you know what's going on with the DFS world. We all love playing DFS. I think we all know that. And so we just want to know what's going on. So we're going to talk about that a little bit tomorrow too in the context of the Daily Dose segment and all of that. So what else do we got, guys? We got some games to talk about it. Is it time? All right, let's do it. Fantasy forecast. Before we get into the fantasy forecast, I want to tell you guys a funny story.

22:48 ↗

A little personal story from my life. We were up a little bit later watching TV last night. My wife and I, you know, she normally gets in the bed before I do. And so I, we have kind of a bigger master bedroom and it's very dark. Like, it's just pitch. There's no night lights. There's nothing on. It's just normally when I have to go find my way into the bed. You don't have a night light? I know, I'm not going to sit down. Hey, I have kids, you know, I mean, like, whatever. When he said that, I was like, oh, really?

23:15 ↗

Really? What a big boy. I am so proud of you guys. You have rid of all your nightlights. We don't... Wow. That's impressive. I used to put a nightlight in the bathroom of my house, you know, so that you could kind of get some light. And that's why we're proud of you. This whole story is going to be proof why you need a nightlight, okay? That's what this story is. I normally have my phone with me, and I navigate my way to the bed so I don't hit my shin on the bed or whatever with my, like, phone light and things like that. Sure.

23:44 ↗

And I have, so I'm going to go brush my teeth. Is that weird? No, no. Okay, all right. I'm still, I'm going to go brush my teeth. And, uh, we had, apparently we had some A and D ointment laying on, like, like, A and D ointment like that for burns and stuff like that that was sitting on the counter. And it happened to look a lot like, oh, yeah, happened to look a lot like my toothpaste. Tell me it made it in the mouth. Uh, it made it in the mouth. Oh!

24:09 ↗

Yeah. So that was really, that was a highlight of my night. Poison control. And so the moral of the story is, go to nightlight.com slash baller. No. So that was, that was my fun tale. And why I need a night? Here's what you do. You just don't brush your teeth. Solid, solid advice from Mike. Problem solved. Super wrong, Mike. My son got back from the dentist yesterday. Three cavities. Ooh. They want 600 bucks for that. Oh, all right. Two visits. All right.

24:38 ↗

We're into the... This is life. All right. Bill's at the Jets. Thursday night. We've talked about it a little bit already. Mike's rolling shady out there. What do you do with Carlos Williams? Can you flex him? Yeah, I think he's still a flex. The concern with Shady is we just, we don't know what type of a workload he's going to get with that banged up AC joint. I expect him to be fine, get his normal to full workload, but that Carlos Williams is still involved. Carlos Williams is a touchdown.

25:08 ↗

Machine. As far, it's true. I still don't. I don't think I buy into it. I don't either. I know, I know Mike's laughing, but David Johnson was a touchdown machine. He's not anymore. Well, when you have limited reps, it cannot continue like that. Yeah, you can't always just score touchdowns. That doesn't mean I don't stay in the touchdowns. And if you're trying to predict, which obviously we've said this before, touchdowns are one of the hardest things to predict. For anybody. Yeah. But if you're, if you're making that attempt.

25:36 ↗

You've got him getting the fewer touches and a terrible matchup. I mean, the Jets secondary is depleted and they might be able to throw on them, but they're not going to be running all over them. I just don't see that happening. So I don't think I would flex Carlos Williams unless it was a real desperate situation. Let me lay down some stats for you, the run defenses for these guys. The Jets are the first against the run this season. So we temper some expectations maybe with McCoy, especially if he's injured. Bills are the sixth.

26:06 ↗

The six against the run and Ivory's been atrocious. That being said, Noble Al Powell producing, if there's a red zone carry, he gets it. How do you feel about those guys? I do not feel confident in Ivory. Unfortunately, he's a player that you have to start. I can't imagine a lower level option on my bench that I would play over Chris Ivory. He's still going to be a top 24 type guy.

26:34 ↗

Would you start him or Chalkandric West this week? Ooh, I think I would start West in that situation. Okay. I'm trying to see where we have our consensus rankings here, and Ivory is, I think, low. He's, I think he's near a bottom RB2, just because the matchup and he's been running for about a yard of carry. That being said, the bills, the one thing that they have done consistently...

26:59 ↗

from their running defense has given up touchdowns. I think it's like four or five games in a row that a running back has scored a touchdown, two on them on the ground last week.

27:08 ↗

So that fits Chris Ivory's build very nice. If you get some red zone opportunities, I think this is a high probability that Ivory gets in the end zone again this week. So I'm not too scared of him. He's just not going to have the huge... He's had three catches in successive games as well because of the lack of ball off. Which is great for his floor. Yeah. Now, when you turn it over to the passing side of things, the bills are 24th against the pass in terms of points given up to wide receivers. The jets are in the middle.
