This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Every football fan is different. Some won't wash their lucky mustard-stained jersey until the season's over. Some insist they can't sit down on third downs and some pick their favorite team because, I don't know, just like football fandom, nobody's life is exactly the same. And that's why State Farm gets to know you, not as a policy number, but as an actual person.

the fantasy footballers podcast coming to you from the fantasy jocks.com studios with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Oh, it happened. Oh, I can't even. You didn't focus on one other thing this entire weekend, Mike. Look, my teams were in the toilet, the Cardinals lost. You didn't care one bet. I did not care. The woke one.
Hey, you know what's crazy is I'm the anti-Christin-Michael guy of this group. I had them ranked the highest. Yeah, you changed late in the week. I mean, obviously once Rolls was inactive, you went all in on Kristen Michael. I don't know how these things keep happening to the show where, I mean, last year, Kristen Michael, and now you have this day happen. I know many are looking forward to the intro to this show because...
My goodness. I mean, you'll get some hits. I don't, you know, I don't always have to take the victory lap. Like, oh, man, I call this one. But when I've been waiting a year and a half for this to happen, finally every star lined up. All the planets went full, uh, Aquarius. Jupiter was aligned with Mars.
And that's what it took for Kristen Michael. And to have one good game. But the woke one, he came through in a big way. Well, we did rank him high. So hopefully you started him. Yeah. And if you believe, you can find him on my team and we can work out a good trade. All right. It is Monday, September 26th, week number three, nearly in the books. We have a Monday night football game this evening.
We are the fantasy footballers back again with yet another show. We will be going through all of the news injury reports from this past weekend's action. We'll jump into the stud muffins. We'll jump into our rising stars and we'll share our thoughts on the players that pooped their big boy pants this weekend.
There's a lot of them. There's a lot of them. And so you will have questions. We will have answers, and this will be a great show. You can find us on Twitter at the FF Ballers. Mike was once again on Periscope. Did you almost pass out again this weekend? I'm getting in the groove now. I've calmed it down. How many people were in there? You know? I did like 10. Over the Periscope, something like 11,000 people showed up. There's awesome. Awesome. Did you answer 11,000 questions?
At least. At least. Okay. So, very excited about today's show and for this week. Anything else going on that you guys want to get into before we jump into the quick question? My almost upset of the week was looking disastrous with the lions and the Packers. And it kind of got, look, for me, I want the team that could upset to have the ball with a chance to win on the last drive. That didn't happen. So I let the world down. But it got kind of close up in Lambo. My upset.
Huh? Those Vikings? Yeah. Wow. What a... I mean... That defense is legitimate. Best two coaches in football right now. Zimmer, Belichick. Winning against all odds. Both lost quarterback and, you know, you lost quarterback running back in Minnesota. You lost quarterback running back. They lost... Running back and tight end. Yeah. And two quarterbacks. I mean, really, in New England.
And they're dominating. I would say the best two quarterbacks right now are Bill and Belichick.
He's his own tier. Don't you move anyone up with him. Those are both quarterbacks? You said those are the best two quarterbacks. He could succeed if he went out and played quarterback. He may have to. They would win the game. Can you imagine him going out there? Sure. That crumudgeon face. Oh. He's got to wear the hoodie over the pads. A hoodie over the pads. James Jones hoodie, so he could do it. Yeah, James Jones did hoodie. All right. So I do want to remind you if you go to Footclan giveaway.com, you can get in on that.
Eddie Lacey jersey. That deadline is almost here. We're giving away that Eddie Lacey jersey along with fandings. Yeah. Partnering up with them on that. And Mike, I beat you on the water bet this week. Yes, I took the under in the Lions match. And then the Rogers explosion that everyone had been waiting for. It finally happened in the first half. All right, quick question of the day. This one comes from Art Vandalay. Okay. You know that reference.
Come on. I don't have it. I'm so sad. I mean, beyond sad right now. Art Van der Leigh. Give me the reference. That's the name that George from Seinfeld. Oh, that always calls himself when he's pretending to be an architect. Yes. The, uh, I, Seinfeld was in my head, but I couldn't narrow it down. All right. Rest of season, rank these guys in order. Kind of a fun question here. Oh, my. Rest of season. Kristen Michael. Jamal Charles. Jeremy Hill.
or Carlos Hyde is the worst. Because here's what happens with Carlos Hyde every week. And you guys rank, think about your rankings. Oh, I got my. It's easy. Every single week, Carlos Hyde sucks. And every single week, he doesn't suck for fantasy owners. He didn't suck week one. I know. I know. You're right. He was bad last week. He just was not having a great game against Seattle. And then eventually, you know, two eight-yard touchdown runs. So.
All right, rank them. All right. For me, it's easy. It's going to be Jamal Charles, number one, Carlos Hyde, number two, Jeremy Hill number three, and the woke one's going to take a nap eventually here. And he comes in number four for me if I were ranking these rest of season, not necessarily, well, definitely not this coming week. No concern that Jamal Charles is not going to get back into form.
I definitely have concern that Jamal and Charles is not going to come back into form, but I think that he will be into enough form to be better than Carlos Hyde, Jeremy Hill, and Kristen Michael. That's all it takes for that ranking. There you go. Oh, man, I'm going to put Charles number one. I'm struggling here with number two between Hyde and the woke one. The situation with Seattle is the perfect place for Michael to be in.
because Pete Carroll, Peach Cobbler, we haven't called that forever, but Peach Cobbler up there, he plays the best guys. And right now, Michael is light years ahead of where Rawls has been and shown this entire year. I know Rawls, maybe you're going to fall on the injury thing, but can Rawls get back into form? I don't know. So I'm going to, you know, I'm going to go, Jamal Charles. I'm going to go with the woke one and then hide and then he'll.
Hi, then Hill. Yeah. I'm going to go Jamal Charles, Carlos, hi, Jeremy Hill, Chris and Michael, then Jeremy Hill. And the thing about you saying he plays the best ones, he also has a long-term look to it. I mean, they know that Rawls is a huge part of this team moving forward, and you have to give him confidence to get out there and to play. Now, he has to be healthy, and can he stay healthy, or is this going to be a lost year for Thomas Rawls? That's the question to be answered.
I think they probably will split some time, and that's why I don't have them at the top of the list. But remind everybody, you can go to the fantasy footballers.com, find all of our articles, all of our content, submit questions to the show. And obviously, you can find our footclan, our listener community at join the foot.com. Let's jump into the weekend rewind. Weekly rewind. All right, a lot of news going on. Big news this morning. Willie Sneed is out.
O-U-T out. Is this confirmed? It's confirmed. It is confirmed. It's being reported that he's out, but he's not officially listed as out. But yes, I mean, the guys around the Saints are saying he's not going to play tonight. And it is, it has been reported as an official thing on Rutterworld as well. So, uh, C-Hawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed after Sunday's win that Russell Wilson has a sprained knee. This is the opposite leg that he hurt two games ago against the dolphins. If you saw the injury, it was nasty. Didn't look very good. He came out of the game. He says he could have came back in.
If it was a closer game, they were wise to keep him out unless they were thinking about my fantasy team. Des Bryant. What's the latest on Des? Des, is going to have an MRI. We saw what... He came back in the game. Yeah, it looked like a pretty scary injury there for Des Bryant as his ankle and his knee bent a way that they're not supposed to bend. But he came back in, had a good game, but they're going to MRI make sure everything's old.
All good in there, structurally sound. This looks very reminiscent of what we experienced last week with Brandon Marshall. He has that nasty-looking injury, comes back, plays because everything's warm. Now you've got to go make sure that it's okay. And you might see him a little bit slowed down this week. Brandon Marshall looked a little slowed down for his normal self. But we'll report tomorrow on the results, which will probably come back negative. All right.
All right, let's talk about Ryan Matthews, the most disappointing, one of the more disappointing players. Let's just talk on the injury front because we can discuss his role later on because he's certainly a member of the Poopped in their Big Boy Pants segment. But Ryan Matthews, what is the latest? Does he have an ankle injury? So it came out eventually that Ryan Matthews, that his ankle stiffened up. This is the ankle. He's kind of been dealing with this since training camp.
So it's never gotten quite right. And that's why they pulled them out. And the Eagles have, I mean, they got some weapons at the running back position. It's always nice when the news comes out after the game. Man, that was so frustrating. And the eternal words of the wedding singer, something you could have told me yesterday! And I saw a couple tweets and they're like, yeah, he's, it was a tough week of practice for him with the ankle.
Come on, beat reporters. Let us know what is happening. I can't fly up to Philadelphia and look myself. It's actually Winselvania now. Oh. It's Winselvania. That's where they're. This did just come out right the second from Sleeperbot, though. Doug Peterson is saying that the team's going to continue to use a complete backfield rotation when Ryan Matthews is healthy. Well, maybe.
Because last time he said he was going to feed him carries, then they went to the rotation. That's true. So now he's calling for the rotation. That's when Matthews will get 20 carries. We need to discuss this. Adrian Peterson, if he's available on your waiver wire, I would stash him. Really? I would. He's committed to coming back this season. There was another report this morning. I've heard that he can get back. I've heard that he can get back on the field. And look, nobody's going to run away.
literally or figuratively with that backfield while he's gone. So if you can stash him, IR. I'm just saying there are a lot of people who have dropped him and there are a lot of people who ask if they should drop him. And my personal professional advice is no, do not drop Adrian Peterson. I would drop him. I would drop him if I don't have an IR because I'm not going to waste a bench spot for the next two months. They said he could be back in eight weeks. That would be two months. If you were to say,
