Raising Cains, Rising Stars of the Week. I'm kicking it off. I never thought I would say this. I also never think. I would say this to put it as Jason would. Terrell Pryor. Hey, Nando. Rising Star.

And here's why, and I say this for at least next week. He is now the centerpiece of an offense in all three phases of the game. He gets snaps at quarterback, which can make his points rise very quickly. Without Cory Coleman, and without Josh Gordon for at least one more week, he's definitely worth his start because he's so central to what the Browns are doing right now that it just, what a week for Terrell Pryor to put up 144.

you know, receiving yards and then get opportunities behind center to run the ball. You know, he has that record for the longest touchdown run from a quarterback when he was with Oakland. He can do it all. He's an athlete extraordinaire. So I think Terrell Pryor is a rising star right now is somebody you can roll in there. You've got so many injured wide receivers right now. If you need a weekly play, and I believe we're coming up on bye weeks, Terrell Pryor is a great.

addition for this week. And if he goes off again this next week, which I could see him doing, that is where I would trade him. I want him one more week and then I would trade him. I don't know. I might go long haul. Yeah, I say Gordon returning will not get rid of Pryor's value in its entirety. So I'm curious to see what happens. It all depends on if McCown's back sooner than later, which they're saying he may be, that will change the equation more than Gordon for me. So that's it. You know what I'm going with.

You know I'm going with the woke one. Chris and Michael, I've been waiting for this forever. It's a legal obligation. You signed your soul over to him. I talked about it at the beginning that Pete Carroll plays the best players on his team. We saw Matt Flynn come in and signed for millions and millions of dollars. They draft Russell Wilson the third round. They said, okay, Matt Flynn, get out of here because we don't need you. This third round quarterback is going to be our starter. And Kristen Michael has been.

Great. They talked about him all offseason, the awakening. You watch him with your eyeballs. And Chris and Michael looks like a next level of running back. He was playing behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league. No one else is getting it done for them except from the running back position besides Chris and Michael. Why would you move away from him? So he's my rising star this week.

Yeah, I mean, he certainly passes my eyeball test, and I am Mr. Anti-Michael. I don't believe he's, I think that him and Rawls are going to eat into their carry long-term, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're like, hey, Rawls, take your time, take your time, get healthy. We got to see Mike. My rising star this week is Marvin Jones. He has to be there. He's going to get me wet. I had a water bet before the season of a Golden Tate versus Marvin Jones. I'm going to go ahead and say it three weeks in.

I'm getting wet because Marvin Jones is legit. He is currently the number one wide receiver in all of fantasy football. I'm happy that despite my water bet against him, we recommended him a lot before the year. So hopefully the Foot Clan are enjoying their shares of Marvin Jones. I mean, he won't be able to be on the Raising Cain's Rising Stars next week because he's there. He will be a star. He's a risen. He's a risen. Yes. There were the Rising.

Stars. That's it. I wanted an honorable mention for Hilton because he dominated and I wonder without Moncrief if Hilton is a buy candidate. It's going to be expensive right now. We talked about how delicious the stud muffins are, but nothing's more delicious than Raising Cains. Rising Cains. Goodness. I mean, he's really tough for me because I drafted him in a lot of leagues. I don't know whether to play him without the mobility or not. Yeah, that's tough. All right. Ben Rathesberger. Yeah. Well, I mean, just called it. Yeah. No, there's nothing else to say. Terrible game. Brock Osweiler. Those are the guys that stunk this week. Yep. All right. At running back, you got the announcement that Matt Ozziata was going to get the start. That made a lot of people move him into their starting lineups and sadly. And then McKinnon got all the work.

Well, and Ozziata stunk. Yeah, they were... Six for 15. Yeah, I think better days are coming for Oziada, though. So, T.J. Yeldon and Chris Ivory are both in this. Poopped in their big boy pants. Yeah, you cannot play any Jaguars running back. 12 for 14 for Chris Ivory. Is that good? Uh, no. It's better than Yeldon, but it's... No, it's amazing. It was worse than Yeldon. Yeldon was six for 17. So they combined for, what is that, 18, 4th...

31 yards? Correct. Impressive. Really good running game. Good math. It's impressive with those kind of numbers that they could actually get to 18 total carries. People probably lost this week due to DeAngelo Williams and C.J. Anderson, C.J. Andrews and C.J. Williams and C.J. Anderson, 14 for 37. We talked about it. On the road, it was a Simeon show. This is why I agree with Mike that it's more of an outlier.

for Emmanuel Sanders, because I don't expect this to be the Trevor Simeon-led Broncos. I expect this to be the C.J. And he did get 14 carries. It was a tough match up there with the Bengals. It really was. And those of you who had Spencer Ware, and you were 11 that touchdown. Yeah, that stunk. And then it turned into a fumble. Did you see ESPN, their system messed up when that happened? So it showed Spencer Warehead ran 94 yards backwards and then fumbled.

So if you, for about a 10 minute period, I had like negative 3.5 points for Spencer Ware on the day and a fumble. And so I assumed, because I was following that game on the phone and watching another game, I assumed that the touchdown was going to stand. And all of a sudden I look and Spencer Ware has no, you know, he's really good though, man. Spencer Ware is really good. And you know, Shar West is just not. Nope. So we'll see what happens with Jamal Charles next week or Ware could get another start.

Lots of wide receivers let you down. I went out on a limb and told you not to start Stefan Diggs this week because I just, it was time for that to come down against Carolina. They won the game, but he was only 4 for 40.

this is the thing that's going to happen with digs. I just cannot buy into him as an upper echelon guy. I think he's an upper echelon talent in a system that won't allow it. Yeah, he's a wide receiver two for fantasy over the course of the year because they'll have good matchups. He'll have bad matchups, and he's not going to have enough volume to ever take him into that wide receiver one range. He's a weekly flex play for me, though. He's a weekly flex consideration. Yeah, sure. Last week was all about the Benjamin's.

This week, not so much. Travis Benjamin 2 for 19, Kelvin Benjamin, zero for zero. Yeah, that Kelvin Benjamin, that's the takes the cake. I'll tell you right now, for me, I'm going and trying to buy Calvin Benjamin. After a zero for zero, the Minnesota Vikings defense are not who the Carolina Panthers are going to play every week. Cam had no time to develop anything. He got punched in the mouth. This is a great time. Look, you put up a goose egg.

That's awful. Owners hate that. And so many owners react way too much. So don't pay up for him, but see if you can trade him on the cheap. Not every day you see only four receptions from Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall combined. Oh, did you see the stat? The stat. The stat. Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall combined for, what was it, 58 yards and 5.

four receptions. The Kansas City DBs combined for five receptions and 56 yards and a touchdown. Oh, my goodness. So Ryan Fitzpatrick actually had a better day throwing to Kansas City DBs than he did to Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall. That is amazing. hilarious. Jeremy Macklin did not have a good game for 35. He had two plays on back-to-back plays that both looked like they were going to be huge gainers, maybe a touchdown on one of them.
