Coming to you from the fantasy jocks.com studios with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Watch out for the lasers. Zap. Pugh, phew, phew. Did you catch the gift that I retweeted? I did not make it. Yes, I did. Where it was the... It was like the Raiders helmet was the Death Star, and it was using the lasers to blow up Osweiler. I mean, I laugh, but...

2:18 ↗

That was freaking ridiculous. What was more impressive? The laser show or the barbed wire that was around every fan's seat. They take, look, they take sports very seriously. That's soccer for you. Very seriously in that soccer stadium. Welcome to the fantasy footballers podcast. It is Tuesday, November 22nd. Andy Mike and Jason back again. We have our waiver wire show. Full stream ahead on the episode today.

and it is going to be a good one. Lots of questions, a lot of players banged up, which means a lot of waiver implications. Are you guys excited? Oh, yes. Well, I'm not excited for the injuries, but as you alluded to, when there's injuries, that makes the waiver wire very juicy. I agree. We have a lot of names to get through. Tomorrow, we have the Megalodon episode. Don't go on.

3:12 ↗

Wow, that's impressive. What was that? It's going to be an extra long episode covering all the week 12 matchups. There'll be sound effects. There'll be a lot of fun. And we're going to announce all of the Megalodon giveaway winners on tomorrow's show. See how I timed that out? Perfect. Pretty well, huh? Perfect. If you want to get in last minute on the giveaway, you go to Footclan giveaway.com.

3:37 ↗

And it is easy and free to enter. So we're giving away a David Johnson signed jersey. Carlos Hyde signed jersey. Jordan Reed signed mini helmet, some gift cards and some other special things as well. So that's going to be a lot of fun. Now, we're going to play a game of Who Am I for the quick question today, okay? We need a drop for this. For the Who Am I? Yeah. You're the drop man. I'm just, I'm putting it out there to myself. All right. Let's see if you guys can get this.

4:05 ↗

Quick question of the day. Who am I? I am the RB6 in half point per catch scoring right now. And I am no stranger to RB1 status. Hmm. Okay. All right. Running back six. All right. Seventh in rushing attempts. Eight in rushing yards. Tied for fifth in touchdowns among running backs with seven. Oh, who's got, okay. All right. All right. Seven touchdowns. Shady?

4:34 ↗

It is not shady. Clue number three. I'm new to my team this year. La Maula. Nope. I'm out. I'm done. I gave it by two. Yeah. You got a shot, Mike? You want me to go to question four. Let's go to number four. What? All right. I thought that would. The new to my team? I thought that would give it away. However, here you go, Mike. People have expected my production to drop off for a couple of years now. I know who it is, but let's go through number five. Okay.

5:04 ↗

Number five, my team has a new head coach this year. That's actually... Wait, what? That's 100% false. That one's wrong. Yeah. Brooks put this together and that is completely wrong. It's half wrong. He's officially the head coach this year, right? Because he wasn't... What? You don't even know. You got the player wrong again. Do I really? Oh, man, I went to Marco Murray. Who is it? You're wrong. It's Matt Forte. Yeah, it's Matt Forte. Oh, man.

5:33 ↗

Yeah. So question five is wrong, or clue number five. Brooks, what are you doing? All right. So Matt Forte, the main point here, RB6, no stranger to RB1 status, seventh and rushing attempts, eighth in rushing yards, fifth and touchdowns, and we were among the many that thought the production would drop off Bilal Powell with steal more carries. It's been a weird year. He started on fire. Then he had a lull, and now he's been on fire again.

6:02 ↗

And he may be the new Frank Gore, the underestimated Matt Forte that just gets the job done. Maybe he's in that mold of the long time running back. What do you think about him for those keeper leagues? I mean, normally, if you had a guy with these credentials, RB6, seventh in rushing attempts, fifth and touchdowns, he'd be a keeper consideration for you. But what ugly hesitations are you rolling over in your brain right now? I certainly have hesitations here for Matt Forte,

6:33 ↗

I think it's, I have to officially jump on the, I'm just not going to predict Matt Forte falling off. His demise. Ride it while you can. So then I've got a question for you. Would you rather, at the end of this season, would you rather keep Matt Forte, productive, proven, or Jay Jai, young and hopeful? I'd go with Ajai. Ajai. And we'll probably both be.

7:02 ↗

Wrong and it will hurt. I'll give you it. So here's a tougher one because there's still a lot of things to play out. Old proven grizzled vet Matt Forte or. I like that he's grizzled now. Oh, he's nice. He's grizzled. Griseled and chiseled. Yeah. Matt Forte. Or flashing rising superstar potentially in C. Oh, I would take Forte by a.

7:28 ↗

million yeah it's forte and pro size is no longer even a rising star he he well because he's how would you call him a future superstar i called him a future did i say superstar i believe you did i don't think i heard the word super but a future rising star but he's not i mean he's look this is his first year he's had two good games and then he's been injured the entire rest of the year he'll play in the playoffs thomas ral's i love michael keating

7:56 ↗

All right. Do you say I like Michael Geese? No, I said I love Michael. We got it right. All right. So, CJ goat size. This is ridiculous. Any 72-yard run, Michael put you on his team for 10 years. Follow us on Twitter at the FF Ballers. Check us out on YouTube. You can subscribe to the show over there.

8:15 ↗

Um, and like we mentioned earlier, check out join thefoot.com or community, extra episodes, premium content like premium flex rankings, lots of cool stuff over there. And, and we got the big show tomorrow. So, um, real quick, before we get into the news, impressions of last night's game. Um, you would like make impressions like, pew, pew, pooh, pooh. I'm the laser. No. No, no, no, no. Oh. Takeaways. Yeah. All right. You are.

8:44 ↗

Your impressions, not like random impressions. We don't need like, who's the guy you do all the time? The old comedian. What? I get no respect. Oh, oh, yeah. Rodney. Rodney to interfere. Lost his name. Jason's having voice problems. So the Oakland Raiders offense is solid. And I would, I'll say this. The Oakland Raiders offensive line. That's, to me, that's who won the game. Look, I know they, they didn't get much production.

9:13 ↗

running the ball, but it felt like to me the Raiders were getting these huge chunk plays, and that was because Derek Carr was getting protection. It was awesome. You had the long pass to Richard, Latavis, Marra. I mean, you're talking these wheel routes where if there was any kind of pressure on Derek Carr, that route would not have developed. So that's who I tip my cap to that. If the offensive line is that good, then you can overcome.

9:43 ↗

terrific debes like the Houston Texans have. It's been reported that DeAndre Hopkins will no longer play for the Texans. He will just receive a five for 58 line in every game moving forward. I mean, when do you start sitting this guy? About three weeks ago? Yeah, you have to sit him. I mean, I've been watching people. Jameson Crowder is scoring 20 points on the bench for somebody week after week. No, if you take the names away.

10:10 ↗

You know, if you just block, if you bought their names and numbers out and you play based on production and things like that, yeah. There's a large enough sample size now to know that, you know, right now you're starting Jameson Crowder, perfect example, over Hopkins every single time unless a matchup is terrible for Crowder and great for Hopkins until otherwise proven because Brock is just not good. My main takeaway from last night, and I know sometimes we're biased when we watch.

10:39 ↗

with our own fantasy players in there. But I just could not believe what I perceived to be the referee bias against the, or for the Oakland Raiders, man. I mean, you got a lot of people up in arms about the DeAndre Hopkins touchdown reception that was called back. But I could not believe the two ball placements on the first down run from first Lamar Miller and then Akeem Hunt. They deserved both. One, Bill O'Brien needs to throw the flag on third down.

11:09 ↗

Two, how in the world do you lean on Hunt for fourth down? Seriously. I don't care how. Even still, he got it. I know. I know. So great game for Latavius Murray. I'm sorry. For Lamar Miller, Murray kind of saved his day with 5 for 59 receiving yards, but he still wasn't what you hoped for. Carr had a great game, three touchdowns. And then C.J. Fedorowitz, man, six for 82, the leading receiver for that Houston, Texans team. See, if you're not DeAndre Hopkins.

11:38 ↗

And you give me six for 82 or 5 for 58. I'm happy with you as a tight end. Oh, for sure. And then you had Ryan Griffin go down. We got to track his status. He got back in that game. Did he? Yeah, he did. And then my final thought on here was the Lamar Miller snap percentages. Look, the previous three games, Lamar had been under 50% snaps because he was dealing with that shoulder. Last night, 75%. So Lamar Miller should be good to go here for the future.

12:09 ↗

News and notes from around the league. Did you guys hear this? Jay Cutler has potentially a season-ending shoulder injury. I saw it like whispering in the bushes on Twitter about it. I hadn't dove in yet. You ready for the Matt Barclay to Cam Meredith offense with no Zach Miller, Alshund Jeffrey? I am pretty confident that that is going to be a Matt Barclay to nobody.

12:37 ↗

Nobody's going to be able to catch those balls that Matt Barclay's thrown out there. Stay away from, I mean, I guess maybe you've got Jordan Howard and nothing. You stay as far away from the Bears. Even Jordan Howard had a touchdown, vultured away from him this past week. So here's my takeaway. Ready? Titans defense next week. If it's Barclay? Oh, my goodness.

13:05 ↗

So pay attention to who the bears are playing. They could be a very, very great defensive matchup. So Cutler has, they're saying it's a shoulder injury or is it don't want to play Idis? Probably a little both, but yeah, it's not good. They have so many injuries. This season's a lost cause.

13:24 ↗

I will say that. Nothing to be excited about it. I got to see what they have for the future. There's a lot of questions speaking about the future. Alshan Jeffrey comes back for the playoffs after that four-game stretch. If Matt Barkley is the quarterback, I don't even start Alshon Jeffrey. Okay. Fair. All right. Josh McCown's supposed to start this week. Does that move guys like Trell Pryor, Corey Coleman, Gary Barnage up your list? Yeah. Does that make you really want to watch that game?
