A little more active this week. We got our draft board set up. Yeah. We are in the scheduled, allowed tampering portion of our season. Wait, because we, yeah, we should say that. We don't allow trade. So it's a keeper league. It's not a dynasty league. It's called, anyway. Yeah, it's a keeper league. And so we have three keepers per team. And we have a deadline when you have to lock in your keepers. And you can't make trades until those are locked in. Right. So right now you can make...

We got a good show today. We do. It is Tuesday, and the NFL draft is approaching swiftly. It's like, what, two, two and a half weeks away? Yeah. Yeah, so we're definitely going to do a show with some draft preview chatter. I think that will be the one on Tuesday of next week. Sure. But subject to change. People need to know about these rookies coming in. Yeah, and we had some questions. I don't know if we're going to get to him today. We had some questions on Amari Cooper.

And I just, I thought I would share a quick story. Now, luckily.

This was not this particular Sunday. This was Sunday's past. So the wife and I, Sunday Thrones night has become a big date night. We put the Giz to sleep. I go out and I buy just the absolute junk crappiest fattening food I can find. And we gorge and then we watch Thrones. So a season ago, I get everything set. I had to set it up on the DVR because it wasn't ready. I set it up on the east.

You know, the HBO East Feed, because just in case I can watch it earlier. Yeah, early as possible. I do the same thing. Get the kids to bed. At 3 p.m., get the kids to bed. Right, right. I go out, I get, I load up, I think, with some in and out or something. Get home, get all set up. I got the food on, I got the spread ready, fire it up.

I recorded it in Spanish. Oh, no. So what do you do then? You eat the food. You drown your sorrows and tears and you're in and out. And then you waited out. And luckily there was, we caught a later version of it a few hours later, but I'll do it. That first word out of their mouth? Oh. Well, when they, yeah, when they, there's the pre-show chatter because it records a little early. And I'm like, that's, that's kind of weird.

That's really funny. Oh, man. I don't know if I've said what we're doing today. We're doing some sleepers and breakouts on the show today. We're going to touch on some news and notes, and then we're going to answer a bunch of mailbag questions and see what we can get in there. It's so exciting. I've been waiting for this one too. Michael Crabtree signs with none other than the Oakland Raiders. The one-year deal. The Raiders. Oh, this makes me laugh. Because of all the places to go to get your value up, a place that hasn't had a thousand-ead receiver in 10 years doesn't seem like the right place. Well, the value that...

Crabtree's trying to get up is the dollar bills value. And the dollar bills were only going in. Nowhere to go, but. Yeah, nowhere to go, but the Raiders. That's what I said. I think last time, who is the biggest overpaid player, it's whoever goes next to the Raiders because they have to pay. And there was, I heard there was interest from the Ravens. And how do you not go to the Trestments? Just take...

A little bit less this year, maybe reestablish massive value in that... Yeah, the Tresman Off. Yeah, they just lost Tori Smith and really needs a wide receiver. The Ravens probably offered him like $2.9 million. And that was the difference for Mr. Michael Crabtree. I looked this up. His best year, he had a good year fantasy-wise in 2012, which was a while ago. 85, over 1,100 yards and 9 touchdowns. Last year, he only had 68 catches for under 700 yards, four touchdowns. He also had 100...

eight targets to get those 68 catches, which is a horrible, horrible catch percentage. I think he had the drops his last year as well. Not to mention, I read he was only in on like 68% of snaps last year. Yeah, there was that all throughout the years. Is he hurt? Is he not hurt? And Crabtree with, no, I'm not hurt. Why do you think I'm hurt? Because you're not playing. You're slow. You're really slow. You're playing like a bum. So Michael Crabtree signs with the Oakland Raiders.

Off to the black hole. I want to like the Raiders because I like Derek Carr, and I like Latavius Murray, like as both athletes, players, and people. And men. But, man, that's a tough place to play. Another bit of news here, I thought I'd mentioned. Cowboys are apparently super high on Melvin Gordon. This is fantasy relevant because obviously that offensive line is...

a beast, is he a fit for the Cowboys system? Because there's also reports he won't get past the Ravens in the first round. Wow, I have not heard that. I think the Ravens are a much better landing spot. Really? Yeah, I do. And not for every running back. Okay, but obviously everyone would say the Dallas backfield, wherever, if you get Gordon or Gurley going there, that that's...

the best landing spot and the best pairing. And I think we need to be a little careful on that because when you look at the amount of carries to Marco Murray got, I don't think they're giving that to a running back. But here's more my point is that Dallas is an inside-the-tackle running team.

And Gordon is a busted outside, you know, go through big holes type of player that I think in the Tressman system with that offensive line. I mean, the holes were wide open for Fawcett last year with his own blocking scheme, assuming they keep that. I think that that would be a better spot for him. I would love to see GERLY go to Dallas. I mean, I know you're a girly guy, but. Yeah, I don't know. I like the volume of him going to Dallas because they gave Foreset some money.

It's still going to be the lead back. I was just going to say it's going to be really, really funny to me with all this hype of there's no running back to the first round. Now there's going to be two this year. And nobody will get drafted in the first round. Yeah, you're probably right. That's the truth. We'll find out very soon. I'm worried. I like Gordon. You know I like Gordon a lot. I am a little bit worried that if he went to Dallas in that system that DeMarco Marie thrived in, he'd have some of that Reggie Bush.

disease, that C.J. Spiller disease, where they... These guys that average huge yards per carries in college, they come into the NFL, and they just think they can get outside. Yeah. And it takes a little while to adjust. Everyone's a lot faster in the NFL. Yeah, changes. Any other news you want to cover? We had some news this morning that Mark Ingram was going to get... Who said that? Mike Triplett, the ESPN Saints reporter, who's a... He's a noteworthy guy. When he says something, it's usually accurate. Well, they paid him. And they're predicting...

240 touches for Mark Ingram, which that sounds pretty good to me. I don't know whereabouts he's going to get drafted yet, but 239 handoffs and one accidental pass. He also said I think it was 150 touches for Spiller. And the most notable was that Robinson will be just purely a backup. Kyrie, Kyrie Robinson, who had more fantasy relevance last year when we didn't really know if Ingram or him.

I think the value there and the touches of Ingram all goes to Ingram's health, right? Ingram's had some hard time staying on the field, so he'll get those touches if he plays 16 games, and if not, then Kyrie matters. Also, Mike, you mentioned the Philip Rivers News, just the idea that he doesn't want to play in Los Angeles. He's been public about that, the idea that San Diego might move up to Los Angeles. So he's just going to play out this final year of his deal and maybe move on. Oh, he's going to Tennessee. Yeah, what?

I'm a little confused. Does he have a no franchise clause? Or are they just, is he making this big of a stink about it that the charges will say, okay, well, we're not going to do that because he's going to hold out and whatever. But I don't know. I agree with Jason. What would be just really fun would be a Tennessee, Rivers Goes to Tennessee for the number two pick. It's just fun. That would be great. I see him playing out this year in San Diego and then going and signing in Tennessee. But yeah.

I honestly think that's going to happen. You guys don't think Zach Mettenberger's the next Brady? I like Mettenberger, but Philip Rivers is one of the most dominant quarterbacks in the league. That was tongue-in-cheek. I just like it. If you're drafted in the sixth round, you're the next Brady until you're not. That's just the part I laughed at. John Skelton was the next Tom Brady. You guys remember that guy? No. So, last piece of breaking news here on our list, people have been asking.
