Yeah, we'll learn a lot about Ibram, but he's got the potential there, and I'm really high in Stafford this year. So let's talk about Thomas Rawls. He won't practice on the first day of training camp, but they have not put him on the active PUP list. That is encouraging to me. Well, yeah, it's funny because this is seen as like bad news that he's not going to be there day one, but the reality is coming into this. It's great news. He wasn't supposed to be. Jamal Charles is on the PUP, and he's being drafted through the roof. Yeah, Thomas Rawls wasn't supposed to participate in training camp at all.

Now, a couple weeks ago, Thomas Rawls did say, I'm going to be 100% for training camp, which was great news. But the thing is, is they didn't even put him on the pub list. So he will be in training camp. And that leads to my love of Thomas Rawls. Chris Thompson's 100%. According to Chris Thompson. Well, yeah. No, I mean, I think that's... He ignored Chris Thompson. Everybody wants to talk about Keith Marshall behind Matt Jones. Nobody wants to talk about Chris Thompson, what he did last year out of the backfield.

He's a good player. He is a good player. He's a talented pass catcher. We're drafting guys like Danny Woodhead and Charles Sims like crazy. And we're not drafting Chris Thompson, who fits that kind of a mold where it's, look, two minute drills, you know, third downs. Those produce fantasy points in this modern NFL. Chris Thompson. And why do we love Matt Jones, Andy? Why does the fantasy community love Matt Jones? Two things. Opportunity in the offense.

Yeah, that's it. Well, the opportunity in offense speak just the same to Chris Thompson. There's not a slew of backs there. And while I do expect that they'll go and add a veteran back like a Pierre Thomas, bring someone like that back. I'm not worried about that. Yeah. And, you know, Matt Jones had fumbling issues last year. His consistency, we've yet to see it. So opportunity there for the other backfield mates. We talked about Ryan Fitzpatrick signing. So I don't need to talk about that again, even though I want to.

Bruce Ariens came out and said he wants to determine backfield touches game to game. This probably puts a lot of fear into David Johnson truthers out there who say, oh, no. There's been some reports of Chris Johnson. I'm not concerned by this at all. I think this is Bruce Ariens being a good coach. You don't come out and tell a second year running back like David Johnson, you're guaranteed to be the lead dog all year long. Right. But David Johnson is such.

a better player than Chris Johnson that on the field, if he performs, it's going to be his show. We're not betting on David Johnson to end up in a top five situation by underwhelming every week. If he plays well, he's staying on the field. He offers him so much more. So don't be concerned. That's my message. Well, it is true. And that's coming from the expert that was singled out.

as the David Johnson truther last year on FantasyPros.com. I love how somehow you were the one that was ranked highest on him. When Mike and I were the truthers from preseasoned on this David Johnson. I probably threw a lot of caution in there. But yesterday we found out that somehow I was the fantasy pros expert that had him ranked the highest in the draft. I had no idea. You're welcome, Andy. And then someone sent me a screenshot. I'm like, and then of course I was like, yeah, of course I am. Oh, yeah.

I'm actually a little bit worried about it. Okay. How about that? Fair. But you've been the one saying, hey, look, David Johnson doesn't give me this guaranteed cozy feeling. Yeah. And I'm also the one of the three of us that says in the first and maybe the second round, I try to avoid risk. That's just in those rounds. Not through the draft, but just in those rounds. I try to avoid risk. This says, hey, there's a little bit of risk there. All right. We're going to jump in the mock. One more bit of news we have to talk about. Kevin Coleman.

The Falcons talk about getting Kevin Coleman involved in the return game and in the passing game. Those are the two reports that came out yesterday. When guys are getting moved or involved in the return game, it tells me that the coach is not saying, I mean, you do not put your starting first and second down running back into the kick returning position. That does not happen. That's true.

So to me, this is saying, hey, look, we're going to involve Coleman in a place with his long speed that he can be a benefit to the team. We need to get more out of Tevin Coleman. That's what you've been hearing. And the way that it's been coming about is, hey, we need to get more out of him. There's going to be more of a running back by committee. But the reality is what they're just saying is, we need more out of this guy. We drafted him high last year. But it doesn't sound like it's going to be one of those 50, 50 timeshares. This is good news for DeVant Freeman.

There's an article on the website as well on the fantasy footballers.com that came out by one of our staff writers all about holding back your doubt for Devanta Freeman. And it's really a worthwhile read. So you want to check that out. I'm really fine with Devante Freeman. I've been fine with him all off season. I'm not worried that he won't be a fantasy contributor to your team. You talk about risk? I don't think there's risk to Devonta Freeman at the right draft spot at all.

I think DeMonte Freeman has a baseline that is actually very, very high. Yeah. That's my opinion of DeWante Freeman. Yeah, the Ryan Weiss article is very good. We're getting started kicking it off right now. Standard. Standard. Yeah, PPR. Standard. First four names off the board, believe it or not in this mock draft, Cam Newton, Antonio Brown, O'Dell Beckham Jr. and.

Aaron Rogers. You know what this looks like? It looks like a draft you'd actually be in. Yeah, that's what I was going to say. It looks like your friends and family draft because all these other podcasts, we do these mock drafts, expert mock drafts. I don't think that's the best thing for the listeners to hear because the experts are not who you're drafting against. Yeah. You're drafting against public perception. You're drafting against ESPN and Yahoo average draft position and their default rankings. And in a standard league.

I promise you, Cam Newton is going off the board in the top four picks in tons of leagues. So that's what we're dealing ourselves. We're dealing ourselves that hand. And look, we're drafting against the consensus at fantasy draftwizard.com. Also, in a standard league, you have to keep in mind, quarterbacks are more important and standard than they are in PPR because essentially the extra points from PPR, they don't go to quarterbacks and they don't go to anybody else now. So with Aaron Rogers.

Odell Beckham, Antonio Brown, and Cam Newton off the board. That means that every running back of our choice in a standard league is available to select. But it also means that one of the top three, you know, stud-wide receivers. Julio Jones. Julio Jones is on the board. So standard league, you're at the spot where you've got the choice between any running back and Julio Jones. What do you do? Let me pull up our UDK top 200 here.

Yeah, pull up the UDK. I'm going to tell you right now, I understand what you're saying now because when you look at the running back board and Lev Bell is not sitting at the top, you don't have this, you don't have a hierarchy that makes you say, I have to take this guy. Now, if it's me, I'm taking Todd Gurley here. That's my pick. I would take him in a standard league, 10-team league over Julio Jones. I think what you're saying plays into the fact that if you do get that running back.

That is the stalwart. That is the superstar. I think it impacts your team in the biggest way. And so, you know, I don't think that there's any possibility that Julio Jones is going to do you wrong in this situation. But I personally, my pick would be Todd Gurley. What do you think? My pick would, without a shadow of a doubt, be Julio Jones. I think Todd Gurley and David Johnson and Adrian Peterson and, you know, other running backs are fine and dandy.

but they're not separated, right? We talk about drafting by tiers. And to me, I think Julio Jones is a tier above. He is one of those true difference makers. You know if he's on your team. He's going to make a difference every week. In a 10-team league, you need those elite, elite guys. So I'm handing you the pick. Then I'm picking Julio Jones with this number one pick, and I'm ecstatic that we got him at number five. Is it a fun thing about debating with the fifth pick and a 10-team standard?

between those two guys is I'm not disappointed. Yeah, you're not going to go wrong. And the thing is, if we had gone Todd Gurley, we'd still end up with a great team. Yeah. And one of the things, you know, doing these mock drafts live on here, the goal is to give you perspective of what happens in different situations. So we took Julio Jones. Todd Gurley went next. Then it was David Johnson, Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Adrian Peterson, DeAndrene, J. Green, Ezekiel Elliott, Rob Grankowski, and Drew Brees. Wow. Quarterbacks are...

flying so here's here's a great thing for this we get asked all the time what round you know my my league's different my league i think we had a question on last episode of like my league every team drafts two quarterbacks and they draft them early what do you do well one you take the talent up front but two you always pay attention to who's left in your in your quarterback tears so we're not looking to say hey we're going to wait till the 10th round to grab our quarterback we're going to be looking at who's on the board right now there's still a billion guys on the board quarterback

Yeah, so Des Bryant, Lamar Miller, Jamal Charles, some guys in consideration for us here. We're in the second round six pick. If I told you that Des Bryant would be sitting here, would you, or Brandon Marshall, would you have taken Gurley? Are you just?

Completely fine. Yeah, no, I'm still fine with that pick. The running backs that are on the board here, Lamar Miller is my fourth running back, and I think he's great. I'm also. Levy on Bell in the second round right now. I was going to say I'm tempted to look at Levy on Bell. He's the true difference maker at the position. So I would be fine. Honestly, that would be my pick. I will give this pick to you because I have not yet mock drafted with Levy on Bell in my roster. And I think a lot of people go, well, what does that look like for the rest of the draft?

How does your team finish? So let's draft Levy on Bell. I think that's the best thing we can do here is because we had a couple questions coming yesterday on Twitter and on the email that we're like, okay, if I take Levy on Bell, if I plan to take him in the second round, what do I do in the first round? Do I have to take a running back to compensate for him? Do I have to trade for DeAngelo Williams? Let's see where that ends up. What if DeAngelo Williams gets drafted? Oh, no, what do I do? All those. And now?

Two weeks ago, I would have really found it impossible to have Levi-on-Bel and Julio Jones on my team. Well, four weeks into the season, you won't. Yeah. So Ben, uh, Ben Rathesberger, Des Bryant, Lamar, Miller, Carson, Palmer, Alan Robinson, Jamal Charles, Devon, and Jordy Nelson off the board. Yeah, I got none of that. I mean, I, a lot of players, got it. Yeah. You, it's early in the morning. So we're coming into the third round now, Julio Jones, Lev, Bell. Uh,

Devanta Freeman, the aforementioned in the news went a couple picks ahead of us. Jordy Nelson went right before our pick here. So we have Lev Bell, Julio Jones, 10-team Standard League. What are you looking at here? Doug Martin, Mark Ingram, Eddie Lacey, Lacham McCoy on the board at running back, wide receivers, Mike Evans, Brandon Marshall. Ding, ding, ding, ding. Yeah, so here you're looking, I think, at depth at those two positions.

We're in the middle, so that means, you know, it's about 10 picks between every single one of our pick. And we, you know, I would look at, because there are running backs I love here. I mean, getting Doug Martin in a standard league at this point is great to me. Getting Brandon Marshall, honestly, Mike Evans, Alshan, or Brandon Marshall, I love all three of them, is great. But the question is, where am I going to be next round more hit?

Are there three running backs left and seven wide receivers left I like? So how does that bear out here? Yeah, you're talking about kind of looking at your tiers for both positions. So to me, when I look at this board, I see three far and above elite names at the wide receiver position. Marshall, Jeffrey and Evans. Marshall is by far the top for me out of that list. When I look at the running back position, I see really...
