And your home team has lost.

three games. And I have been at two of them. Yeah, all home games too. I recognize what is happening. I accept blame for the curse and I shall remove myself.

from the stadium. Yeah, we have not had a good, we have not had a good experience going to these games. We get a suite for the home NBA finals game. We lose. We go to the Packers game. We lose. We go to this game. We lost. So yes, from home. We will be watching from home. I have it on good authority that Mike was driving his car a little too close to the stadium, the one that he wasn't at as well. You were on the freeway pretty close by. I was within a hundred mile radius. I apologize. And caused some of the turnovers. No, this game.

The headlines here, I mean, James Connor was an absolute stud. Nine for 94 in the passing game. Yeah, he was a stud in the passing game. Well, he looked like a wide receiver. Like, these weren't all dump-offs, right? A lot of these were downfield throws or broken plays. He had a one-handed catch that was mesmerizing.

Apparently he leads the league in those. He's got five this year. Yeah. He's really cool. And he was dominant on the ground as well. I mean, obviously not yards per carry. But when he got near the goal line, I mean, that was him. It was like sometimes, oh, the running back just walks in. There were a couple that were just stopped. And he's like, no. Fourth down, it wasn't as good for James Connor. But, you know, the Cardinals were led in receiving by A.J. Green, seven for 102. Yeah.

I want to talk about DeAndre Hopkins because he was only 5 for 54. He did get hurt at the end of the game. Cliff Kingsbury came out and said it's not long term. It happened when he was jumping up for a ball and somebody landed on him. But, you know, he hasn't had a 100-yard game this season. And I know he dealt with the hamstring and missed some games. But you still look at it and say, how are you going to approach DeAndre Hopkins going into next season, right? And if this is all we get, no 100-yard games. Distribution of the football. That's exactly what it is, is that.

They have more players on the team who are stepping up in the passing game. And Hopkins, an elite talent, but opportunity is what drives fantasy football. And if he is not going to see the just the grotesque 30 plus percent of the targets where everything just goes to Hopkins, then he just doesn't have the opportunity to be that top five elite guy who will.

He's so good that he will give you spike weeks, but he's probably, he should be in the 10 to 15 range. Yeah, he is still probably the one of the best goal line wide receivers in football. The targets were there last night again. So he might not be one of the 100-yard regular basis wide receivers. But when you're talking about fantasy, I still don't worry about playing Hopkins because.

You know, he has eight touchdowns on the season. He's missed a bunch of games. Could have had, you know, touchdowns last night. Certainly they were trying to force feed it to him. James Connor also got hurt late last night. I don't know how much the broadcast showed of kind of the aftermath of the injury, you know, at the game. So I had the first-hand experience where.

He kind of just he forced himself to stand in position for the final play because otherwise the clock was going to run off and the game would be over regardless. But as the fields were clearing, Connor went down. Like he was laying down on the field kind of writhing in pain for about a minute before the training staff came and helped him walk off. So I don't have another update other than this is something that you need to pay attention to. Monitor. Yes. Something to monitor. You didn't see that.

Oh, the string of tweets? I think there were three people that tweeted that exact phrase right afterwards. Yeah, well, I can follow up. Like he was, that might have been true, but he was jovial and talking with people on the field after the game as well. Okay. So I can confirm that. I don't know how severe anything really was if it was cramping, any of that nature.

On the other side of the ball, the much more productive side of the ball. Matthew Stafford was great. This was his best game in a long time. No interceptions. He had thrown a pick in several games prior. Sonny Michelle was 2479. They got the running game going. Cooper Cup is unguardable. He is unstoppable. He is unstoppable. No, I mean, they just, you have to double him. You have to bracket him or he will catch the football. It's just not possible. And he might, even if you double him. But O'Dell, I mean, this is another productive game from Beckham.

Seven target, six catches, 77 yards a touchdown, and a bomb for Van Jefferson. So wheels up for the Rams offense. Certainly. And I guess the biggest question here for the Rams is it's Sony Michelle, who looked good last night. 20 carries turned into 79 yards. What happens when Darrell Henderson is actually back, combined now back-to-back very strong performances?

Henderson has been great for fantasy football, but I don't know if I would, just the eye test and this very anecdotal, but Sony Michelle has looked better on the ground as a runner in the past two games and Henderson has throughout the season to me. And the way that McVeigh has talked about Sony, does Henderson get his job back? Does this go to a 50-50? Does this turn into Sony Michelle is on the field a little bit more for the early downs?

This is a very murky fantasy football situation heading into the playoffs. I don't think there's any chance that Henderson comes back and all of a sudden doesn't see the field and isn't involved. He's too talented of a weapon. So the question then becomes is Sony much more involved now? Because he pretty much wasn't really involved when Henderson was there. You get a couple of, you know, carries a game. I think that it's scary for fantasy.

My guess is when Henderson comes back healthy, you're going to have a pretty split workload. Yeah, and there's a couple different situations that you can think of. There was part of me last night thinking that the Rams were in the Leonard Fournette category, where you acquired a veteran running back in Sony Michelle that they're noticing can contribute in some meaningful ways and gains the trust of the coaching staff. And it kind of.

you know, we put Henderson in that Ronald Jones category where last year Ronald Jones was still the RB 16. Then there's the, then there's the Khalil Herbert, David Montgomery mindset where it's like, hey, you're the starter, you're the incumbent. When you come back, you were productive and we're just going to put you back out on the field and you're going to get the majority of the snaps and Sony will be worked in. So I think all of those are outcomes. I think all of those are realistic outcomes. And I.

If I had to bet on anything, it would be a shared workload with maybe Henderson getting a couple extra opportunities than Sony. Yeah. And if you go back to the beginning of the season, what I'm remembering now is when they traded for Sony, the quote at the time was, we want a running back who knows who has experience playing in big games. And these are big games now at this point where the Rams have to win. They're a game out of the division lead.

They're still in the hunt for the number one overall seed if things just happen to shake out the right way for them. So it's, this isn't me saying I'm benching Henderson by any stretch. It's definitely shaking. I'm like, this is, this is, this is worrisome. Yeah, they might, they might split first and second down, and then maybe Henderson takes more of the thirds, and then that's your situation. All right, let's move on.
