There's a lot of guys that I like here. I do like Deshawn Jackson. The guy that I like the most out of the wide receivers, given that we've only got one right now, is a guy that I think has enormous upside in Dante Moncrief. I know you're not super high on him, Andy. I'm not as high as Mike is, but I think he's got the chance. Not as high. He's got the chance of everybody that I see of having that, you know, close to a wide receiver one number at the end of the year.

pretty much leading the Colts early on last year before Andrew Luck got injured. And at worst, at worst, he's the number two for Andrew Luck. And we're dealing with a bunch of number twos, right? Whether Michael Floyd, John Brown, Larry Fitzgerald, every other game, every third game, they're going to be the one, the two, and the three. So they'll average to the two. Jordan Matthews is a slot guy. Alan Hearns is a number two.

I guess Deshaun Jackson, you could argue, he's not the number one receiver for that team. I would personally take Travis Kelsey with one of these two picks. That's actually what I would do here. I think that as much as I like all the names and the narratives for all these wide receivers, look, Marvin Jones is still on the board and we can get him the next round. I would take one wide receiver and I would take Travis Kelsey earlier in this draft here. I think that puts you in a position to end up with a top three upside tight end.

You mix that with another wide receiver. And maybe that makes you take a guy like Larry Fitzgerald here as opposed to. I mean, I'm fine with Moncrief too. I really am. I think if we go Moncrief, Kelsey, I'd be really happy. Moncrief is an auto pick for me on this turn with one of these two picks. Sure. And we'll take him then. And I'm fine. I say let's take Kelsey and let's see what our team ends up looking like. You okay with that, Jason? I am okay with that. I will say this. My rankings, I still have John Brown ahead.

But since there's debate on the Arizona wide receivers, I think if I was in control and this was my team, I would likely take one of the Cardinals right there. You mean instead of Kelsey? Correct. But I want to see what happens. What does this team look like if I take Kelsey? I'm very high. You guys know that I have Kelsey at three on my board. I think I had him at two briefly. I have no problem with him at two. I think Chris Harris says him at two. Isn't that what you just said? Two or three? Yeah. So I mean.

Look, Brown's the best value. Arian Foster, Eiffert went, Brady went in the sixth round. That's where I said the highest I would take Brady. I'm fine with that. I like that he went ahead of board. Well, now that we have a tight end, we will not be taking a quarterback for a while. Here's an interesting thing, Jay. Do you feel better about our tight end pick now that you know. So after Kelsey, Eifert, Delaney Walker, Kobe Fleener, and La Darius Greenland.

That makes me feel a lot better about the Kelsey pick because had Kobe Fleener still been on the board, then I would have regretted it. Yeah, I would have absolutely. And so just a quick aside, kind of like a drafting tip, generally speaking, if you feel like a run is about to happen, you get a temperature of the room. You know, this is kind of a sixth sense thing. You just, after a while of drafting with certain people, you can sense a run is coming. You want to start that run.

especially if you are at the turn. So like that, you feel like, oh, I think some tight ends are going to come flying. I'm going to start this run because I know I'm not coming back for a long time. So, yeah, the Kelsey pick certainly worked out. I'm looking at two names now. We're sitting here at the six pick of the seventh round. You got Deshaun Jackson still on the board. You also have to start thinking quarterback here, I think, with the way that our draft is. You're sitting here in the seventh round. We won't draft again until, you know, two.

24 picks from here. I at least want to talk through some of these names. Philip Rivers, Derek Carr, Tyrod, Taylor, Kirk Cousins, Matthew Stafford, Andy Dalton. I think saying so many of those names that we're kind of okay with makes us fine to pass on them. Philip Rivers is our highest ranked guy, but the difference between him and say a guy that we're going to get rounds later in an Andy Dalton or a Matthew Stafford is just not worth, I think, taking a...

a quarterback here, especially when we took that tight end, meaning we're still a little weak at wide receiver. We've only got two wide receivers. Deshawn Jackson, Tyler Lockett, Marvin Jones on the board, Kevin White, Josh Gordon, Torrey Smith on the board. I'm starting to see tears, a tear drop off happen at the wide receiver position. I thought you were talking about my face. A tear from my face is I know that we will not select Troy Smith right here. No, no, no chance. So.

You find joy from my face. I say two wide outs. Two wide outs here is fine with me. We already have three running backs. I'd love to go D. Jacks. Yes. And I'd love to hear the debate between Tyler Lockett and Marvin Jones. I will give you the debate on those two. I think it's more realistic that Marvin Jones ends up the year as the number one for his team than Tyler Lockett. Now, you guys, I think, aren't big on Doug Baldwin.

for their teams. But I believe in Doug Baldwin. I think they paid him the money to be the primary pass catching receiver. To me, they brought in Marvin Jones the reports and in actual practices. He's had the rapport with Stafford. He has a great red zone. And he was yet another. He has a great red zone. He has a great red zone history. And this red zone is great. He was another MVP candidate from yesterday's episode.

Just to give you some understanding. Where is that located? You don't want to know where the red zone is. Dangerous, dangerous. The red zone and the danger zone are one in the same. Yeah, Deshaun Jackson. We took Deshaun Jackson here. He's off the board. So we grabbed him. Now I want to let people know. Gio Bernard's sitting here in the seventh round. Standard League. That makes sense.

Okay, yeah, that's interesting. So do you take Gio, Marvin Jones, or Tyler Lockett? I just want to vote here. We got to move on. Let me scroll down, let me see the wide receivers who would be coming back. So you're talking a, probably looking at maybe Gordon makes it back, Smith, Sneed, Diggs. If we could get Justin Fawcett next round, I'm so happy grabbing a, I'm so happy grabbing a red zone like Marvin Jones.

All right, my vote is Marvin Jones and Mike doesn't get a vote because he won't make one. So let's go ahead and move on here to the ninth round. A lot of picks going off the board here. Oh, Jennings. Bernard, Ivory, Carlos Williams off the board. Jimmy Graham off the board in the eighth round. Justin Forsett just before us. It's too bad, Jason.

Yeah, well, honestly, Rashad Jennings and Justin Forsett, those are great picks around this time. They went one and three picks before us, so that's a shame. I want you guys to look at the available players right now, including the quarterback position while I read our roster off. We have Lamar Miller and Latavius Murray at running back, Brandon Marshall, and Dante Moncrief at wide receiver, Travis Kelsey sitting in the tight-in, Ryan Matthews, and the flex, and we have Deshaun Jackson and Marvin Jones on our bench. Okay, so here's what I would do at this point, if I'm in the real draft situation.

I'm going to quickly look at everyone else's team, and I'm going to see what the tight end situation is. Who has one? Who does not? Do I feel like, oh wait, we took Kelsey. Never mind. I was thinking of folks of targeting Antonio Gates. The same exact logic applies to quarterback. Sure. Okay, so take everything I just said. Pretend I was talking about a quarterback. But I think this is a rare situation for me where the two top rated players.

in the list are actually the guys I want in Isaiah Crowell and Tori Smith. I think that they both have a decent amount of juice and upside for this late in the draft. In a standard league this late to have the first and second down type running back in Isaiah Crowell for a Hugh Jackman offense, Hugh Jackman Jackson offense. I think Isaiah Crowell is a great pick here. We only have three running backs. He's got a red zone. There's a red zone for Isaiah Crowell.

All right, well, we get two picks, guys. That's the beauty of it. I think Isaiah Crowell was my pick as well. All right, so we took him. We took Isaiah Crowell. We got two bench spots left. Who do you take here? I think you might make a jump at quarterback here. I'm surprised. You know, we have Phillip Rivers rated very high on our consensus rankings. I believe he is nine? Maybe. I just, I believe he's nine, and you're sitting here with the ability to grab your ninth ranked quarterback.

We're not going to draft again until the 11th round. I totally get it. I feel like I can replace the value, though. And the season I see for Tori Smith, the ceiling of the season I see for Tori Smith. I would not personally pass on him, but I won't make this pick. Okay, so I'm sitting here staring at Antonio Gates, wishing I never draft to Travis Kelsey. Yeah, that's a very valid point. Honestly, in a standard league.

But that's why I wanted to see it. Dwayne Allen to me here. I would much rather have Dwayne Allen here and another fifth rounder for where we took Kelsey. Or Gates. Well, Gates over Allen, but I'm just saying there's multiple options here. Over Bruce Dwayne. Yes. As far as Tori Smith argument, Mike, I mean, you know, you are the lone ranger here. You see him as, I think you've got him as a wide receiver two. I do. So wide receiver two, this late is great. But, I mean, I...

You know, it's like I would rather have Sterling Shepard, Cory Coleman. I'd rather have a lot of guys. I'd rather have Marcus Wheaton than Tori Smith, but I'm certainly alone there. So, Andy, it's your pick. I'm having a difficult time deciding here. I'm willing to pull the trigger on Tori Smith.

Just to see if, you know, his position is a standard league guy. He's a standard league guy with lower total receptions, decent touchdown numbers. If you want to close your eyes and desperately forget last year, you can look back to the three seasons before and you see a guy that finished basically a number, just like Deshaun Jackson, at number 21, 21, something like that for three straight years. But with Deshaun Jackson.

Making the start-sit decisions with two of those guys. I'm not worried about that right now. Sure. Generally speaking, Deshaun Jackson makes that decision for you by injuring some sort of body part. We have convinced me that I would have gone Phillip Rivers here. Well, and honestly, that would have been fine, too. I took Tori Smith so that Mike would be in a better mood today. The good news is, is we just came around to the next pick. Sometimes you ride the snake.

And sometimes it works out for you. Philip Rivers back around to us in the middle of the 11th round. He's off the board. We took Philip Rivers there. And then you have one bench spot left to fill. Honestly, I take Antonio Gates. Really? Still on the board. You're going to rock two tight ends on a five bench? I would not. I would much rather. I realize that Gates could be valuable. But we've invested in Kelsey. No, I don't take Antonio Gates. But I'm sad again that I drafted Kelsey because Antonio Gates in the 11th round. There's a clear pick here.

To me. Is there? Oh, a home run absolute pick. Make it here because we're getting to the end of our draft. I can't even believe that he's still available. I wanted him rounds ago, especially because we have Latavis Murray. Oh, Brandon Lafell sitting. Oh, okay. DeAndre Washington. Really? That's the clear. I think he is the clear pick. We have Latavis Murray. We just locked up the Raiders backfield. I love that. Oh, sure. Yeah, I forgot about the Murray effect. I can buy in. With this pick, you know, I'm looking for a high upside.

Just swing for the fences guy that you're probably going to, you might end up cutting. So DeAndre Washington, I think is a great pick right there. All right. Real quick, while I'm pulling up our final roster, what did you guys think, well, what do you think about our depth on this roster? I think the depth is actually pretty good. To have a bench with Deshaun Jackson, Marvin, Jones, Isaiah Crowell, DeAndre Washington, and Tori Smith, I think is good. Our depth at running back is a little bit.

a little bit weaker, but we have, I think, a really strong, yeah, exactly. And that's generally what happens in your leagues. When you take strong starters and you invest early in a position, then you have to kind of go away from that. The depth behind them will be a little bit weaker, but that usually ends up with a better overall team. So we are, I think we're balanced, am I right? We have five of five.
