Or do you just go with a guy that you know is going to, at least, barring injury, be there for 16 in Lamar Miller, Jamal Charles, Devante Freeman? I think at the turn, specifically, it's tough to take Levi-on-Bel, because you end up having to reach...

At the turn, you end up having to reach for guys anyways, right? Yeah. But you don't want to overreach for those reach guys like DeAngelo Williams or seeing that we're weak at running back. So for me, when there are options like Jamal Charles and Lamar Miller on the board, I would rather have those guys that I think are going to finish as top five backs who are playing those first four weeks. If you take Levy on Bell here.

You eliminate your flexibility with the next two picks, in my opinion, because you have to take a running back at that point. Because you need somebody for those first four games. If we took Lamar Miller or Jamal Charles here, we could, in theory, go tight end and wide receiver, or we could go two wide outs. We would at least have the flexibility to do that with the next two picks. So I'm on board with that thought process as well because we're at the turn. It's always tempting to take Love Bell at the quote-unquote value here.

So what wide receiver do we want and what running back are you thinking, Mike? So I'm looking at between Lamar and Jamal for the running back who I would like here. The way I have it statted out is Jamal Charles. I will be completely transparent. The news from yesterday or two days ago of the, oh, well, we think he's going to be ready for week one. If I'm drafting right now, that actually spooks me.

A little bit, I would prefer to see that the confidence. He's going to be ready for week one. So I might lean here to go to Lamar Miller. And the wide receiver that I'm looking at going would probably be Brandon Marshall at this point since Green is gone.

Yeah, I agree with you on the Brandon Marshall pick for sure. And I think we need to go. Well, anytime I say Brandon Marshall, I know that I'm going to agree with you. Yeah, exactly. Look, Lamar Miller's the pick here for me in a standard format with the things hanging over, Charles. Look, I love Charles. And I think he's going to be great. But in a standard league, I really think Lamar is going to have the workload. Maybe it's because Jason screened at the top of his lungs for eight to ten minutes yesterday about Lamar Miller. I know he's not going to argue with me. So Lamar Miller is going to be the pick here.

Alan Robinson, very tempting. I like Brandon Marshall. Mike said Brandon Marshall, so I think Brandon Marshall's coming off the board of their pick. Are you going to be okay with that? I love both guys. Personally, in a standard league, I would go Alan Robinson because in a standard. That's strange, that you would go Alan Robinson in a standard over the guy with 15 touchdowns and the big body goal line. Last year they both had 14 touchdowns.

So the touchdowns I feel like are pretty much even for both. Brandon Marshall is a guy that is going to be closer to the 100 receptions versus I think, you know, Alan Robinson's 90. But Alan Robinson is a deep bomb type of guy. He's going to have 17 yards per reception. You saw on the preseason just yesterday. Two back-to-back plays where he pretty much, I think he got like 80 yards on those two plays. And it was incredible. The dude is a stud. I was, you know, I love Alan Robinson.

I had him last year, took him to a championship, or he took me one. And it was great, but I wasn't convinced he was going to be a superstar. I just thought he was a really good player who had a great year. Man, everything that I see from him, the eyeball test says he's going to be a superstar. But both guys are great. I'm happy with Brandon Marshall. And I'll just throw this out. I had made a slight, slight tweak to Alan Robinson this morning, and he is actually now just ahead of Marshall in my standard list.

For what it is. Hey, Lamar Miller and Brandon Marshall, but you can't go wrong with either of those guys. I know Andy is so sad to hear because he's the Marshall man. Well, I mean, you did say take Marshall here. We drafted Marshall. That's saying that's what my rankings were until I hadn't seen the update today. Yeah. Okay. Well, we took Lamar Miller and Brandon Marshall here with our first two picks at 12 and 13.

A lot of names, I think the big highlights here between our second pick and where we draft now, which is the 12th pick of the third round, a lot of running backs went off the board in the second round. You had Lacey, Ingram, Charles, Martin and McCoy. A lot of wide receivers went off in the third round, including a tight-in, Jordan Reed. We also had two quarterbacks off the board. Cam went the ninth pick of the second round, and Aaron Rogers, the third pick of the third round. We're sitting here now, and we have...

A lot of decisions to make because at this point, you're talking about your third and fourth round pick at the turn. Names on the board at the running back position are guys like Carlos Hyde, Latavius Murray, Matt Forte, John Stewart, DeMarco Murray, who I'm rising on, Ryan Matthews, Matt Jones. You also have wide receivers like Randall Cobb, Jeremy Macklin. You've got Kelvin Benjamin, Monkrie, Floyd. I think those guys we know would be on the board. You barely made it through Moncrief.

I have a question I want to ask you to. It's a genuine. I was doing my mock last night. This was a real, like, you know, take it serious mock. And I could not. I realized I don't have my opinion solidified on Randall Cop. I, you know, I kept passing him and thinking, is he going to bounce back? Because he's been, you know, that wide receiver.

one, you know, borderline, I think he was like the 13th wide receiver two years ago. Is he going to bounce back or what we saw last year? Is that the new, you know, normal for Randall Cop? I think that Randall... Somewhere in between. Yeah, I think it's somewhere in between his, the, when he was the wide receiver won, I felt like there was some kind of, Fluky's the wrong word, but just some situational touchdowns that I don't think will always be there.

You're saying when he was the wide receiver one in fantasy? Yes. Both him and Jordy were wide receiver ones. I didn't know if he meant last year when he was in that role. Oh, no, yeah. Sorry. Thank you. So I think he can bounce back and still be solid. Here at the turn for me, in a standard league with the wide receivers who are left that tier of guys for standard. I mean, the guy that I like the most is Decker, but I don't think I want to load up with Marshall and Decker. No.

So I might take two running backs here. That's what I was thinking about, too. I would consider going something like Latavius Murray and Jonathan Stewart. Right. If I wanted to pick a wide receiver, it might be Jeremy Macklin just because I wouldn't want to double up on Eric Decker. I also think DeMarco Murray and Latavius Murray could be interesting in a standard league. Murray and Murray. Just stack up about 550 carries. The one player of this entire list that does stand out to me, though, is Latavius Murray.

You know, I think this would be... My fantasy MVP for 2016. Is that you're talking about? We can get two thirds of our fantasy MVP's on this from yesterday. What about mine, guys? one of the running backs I would take here, but I know Andy does not like him. Well, because Jason and myself, we agreed on Latavius, we took Latavius with the first pick here. I'm going to hand the second pick off to you, Mike. I don't know if you want to go with the wide receiver. I don't know if you want to go with the running back, but speak very quickly as to why you're not talking about quarterback or tight end, or should you be? The only tight end that I'm considering at this point is Jordan Reed, but that's more of a half point or full point PPR. I like him. He's also unavailable.

Yeah, but if he was available. Sure. Okay. I would maybe think about it, but I like him more of what I'm getting points for catching because I don't know if those touchdowns will be there for Reid like they were last year. The catches certainly will be. And quarterback, look, the value's not there for me. I think the quarterback is too deep. I can wait for much, much longer. But Mike. Yes, voice of public opinion. But Mike, Andrew Luck is still on the board and he was.

An MVP on yesterday's episode. Look, Azer likes luck. And that's, look, Andrew Luck, could he bounce back to be that 40 touchdown guy? It's in the realm of possibilities. I'm not going to completely dismiss that. It's just not for me. When I compare the player that I'm taking here on the turn, so this is the fourth round, let's say the running back or the wide receiver I take here in the fourth round, I compare that to the quarterback who I can take in the ninth or the 10th round, right?

Or I'm taking a positional player there. And just in comparing those, it's got to be the positional player to me. So I would take Ryan Matthews here personally if I get the pick. Well, I'm going to give that one to you because I believe on the last mock draft we did, we had that exact same decision about the exact two guys. And you guys let me take to Marco Murray. Actually, I think Jason agreed with me on that show. I did. Are you okay with Ryan Matthews, Jason?

Yeah, I think he's a high upside guy. I still have him as, you know, just outside of the RB1 into the RB2 range. So if you're getting that in the fourth round, I'm personally fine with that. It's tough to not grab that wide receiver because now you go, okay, we're going into the fifth and sixth round, and we're deep fifth. We're the last pick in the fifth. And, you know, you got your second wide receiver that you need. I agree, but that's why mock drafting is so.

important is because you get to test out these without the consequence of living with them for the entirety of the season. So by the way, Mike, I'm looking at the monitor here. Yes. You have a very bright shirt on. Yeah. I mean, that shirt is just popping. I'm saying that in a good way. Oh, well, thank you. This is with standing victories all day. It's bright orange. It's bright orange. I mean, that is like you got a Paxton Lynch jersey on right now.

All right, so we took Ryan Matthews. That leaves our roster with Lamar Miller, Latavius, Murray, Brandon Marshall, and Ryan Matthews. I like where this is going. And then a giant flood of picks in between our fourth round and six, into the fifth pick here coming up. Carlos Hyde went right after us. A number of running backs did. Some highlights, DeMarco Murray ended up going at the end of the fourth round. Randall Cobb, the aforementioned, the 12th pick of that round.

You had Jeremy Langford, someone I'm really becoming more unsure about. Partially because of that offensive line. That line was a disaster yesterday. Kidame Carey did have a concussion yesterday. Yeah, that's worth noting. Sure, but there was on, and there's also been some positive reports on Rogers. It's a quiz. The unnamed man, who's very great. Well, he didn't get a play last year. So, right. Yeah, they invested in him. They want to use him. Excellent pass protector. Dionne Lewis ended up going the fifth pick in the fifth round here. What do you think about that in the standard league?

Is that too early for you in a standard league? You know what's funny is it last... It is for me, to be honest. Last year in a standard league, standard scoring, he was on pace to be an RB1, which I just still don't believe. Right. That's like the Danny Woodhead effect. He got, yeah, I know. I mean, it's like he got three carries a game. It seemed like it's how could you do that? But if you're on a high power team where you're scoring touchdowns and every time you catch the ball, you know, he's probably averaging seven yards a clip, that's... When he was also per game, he was...

getting the most targets for a running back before he went down. I'm actually okay right there. If we know that he's not going to start the year on the pup, I'm okay taking him right there. So one other name I didn't mention last night, but I mentioned it a few days ago, if you remember, Tyler Gaffney. Yes. Tyler Gaffney running back for the New England Patriots, a guy that has always flashed for them but had injury problems, looked good last night.

He was playing against backups, but he bursted off a great run. He clearly is healthy. That's what you saw. And the big takeaway from this game is he's there. He's fighting for a role. You know, some of the reports. You always have the risk with New England, too, about a rookie. It's good and bad, right? Like, they could put somebody different in there, but if he fumbles, he could go Ridley and then be on the bench. Yeah, it's worth monitoring, especially for Legerre Blunt.

You know, I just think there's reports all over the map with LaGarrett Blunt. He was the starter. He played till halftime. But, you know, if Gaffney starts flashing, I don't know. It's worth watching. My heartbreak right now in the fifth round is that Jeremy Macklin went with the seventh pick. I know. And we're sitting here with the 12th pick of the fifth round and just missed out on him. Let me give you the lay of the land on what's available. You guys can help me make a decision. Aryan Foster available at the running back position. We did just go running back, running back in the last round. At the white out, you have Michael Floyd, you got Dante Moncrief still on the board, John Brown, Jordan Matthews, Larry Fitzgerald. All three of the Arizona watersexuals. Yeah, all the, all three Arizona wide receivers all go very close together. And that might just be right. I mean, the way the distribution happens in Arizona this year, that might be accurate.
