kind of the things we see out there. So it's just nice to have another voice kind of say, hey, you guys are probably on the right track with that one. You know, there have been a lot of sophomore running backs who have taken a step back. And I don't know that I can think off the top of my head, maybe you guys can help me out. I just remember kind of studying it. But Trent Richardson was an obvious example. And Zach Stacey was a...

It was a huge example last year. Doug Martin. Stacey is the main reason that I have any concern about Jeremy Hill because Hill had a lot of carries. And if they scale that back, how successful can he be? I still buy it. I still think he's going to be good. Trying to find the argument against, at least. Yeah. It's just like when you do these things and you have to make predictions on the air, you have to.

You have to look at the downside of your prediction. You have to make arguments against it and play devil's advocate against yourself, basically. But that's the only, I mean, there's really not much to doubt with Jeremy Hill. I think he's really damn good. And it's like, yeah, let's just go ahead and call him the next Eddie Lacey, the next Levian Bell. This guy's going to be a top five. I say top three pick next year. Yeah, I agree. So do you have any thoughts on Jimmy Graham? Where are you standing with him? Is he still the number two guy?

Can someone like Travis Kelsey surpass him? I don't see it. I suppose Kelsey's possible, but I don't see it. I think it's Graham. And I think he might end up being a little underdrafted this year. I understand that everybody thinks I'm totally distracted right now. You know those commercials where that...

What is it? It's like a direct TV commercial where that girl Hannah is walking with her voice. And the horse talks? Yeah, the guy from... Flight of the Concords. Flight of Concordes. Yeah, she's really hot and I totally lost my... I'm talking horse. Jimmy Graham will be fine. So you think even moving from, because you were talking about Jeremy Hill's volume, Jimmy Graham's volume, it can't be anywhere near what he was getting in New Orleans.

No, but the touchdowns should still be there. He's obviously their best red zone threat other than Marshawn Lynch. He's their best receiver. 100% he's their best receiver. And I think that they have to start putting the ball in Russell Wilson's hands a little bit more and passing the ball a little bit more. Not that they're going to be a passing team by any means, but tight ends, they make their livings on touchdowns.

And I still think he's going to, you know, I still think he can catch 10 touchdowns and be the number two tight end behind Granc. Okay. Do you have, we're very early, but do you have a favorite breakout guy who you're kind of keeping an eye on right now? Well, DeAndre Hopkins isn't exactly original, but you can't, I mean, you can't, like, take a rookie receiver over him. Some people aren't convinced because of the quarterback situation, which is understandable, but I think he's going to be great. And I'm really looking at Ryan Tannahill.

It's tough with quarterback breakouts just because unless you're in like a 16-team league, most people are going to have a good quarterback, and I don't think you want to draft Hannahill necessarily to be your starter. But high-end backup who could end up being a top five or six quarterback. I really believe that. I think the Dolphins' offensive line sort of fell apart at the end of last year. If it didn't, they probably would have made the playoffs. I'm kind of high on them, and I think drafting Parker was a great move. And I think Lamar Miller...

is a breakout in that we saw it from him last year, but now he can put it together, hopefully for a full season. And he could have a strong year and be like an early second round pick next year. So no ajai you concern? I don't think so. I mean, they drafted him pretty late. He's got a serious knee issue, which is why he went so late. And there's nothing wrong with having another guy there. Miller has to get better at...

being good after 10 carries. His yards per carry really dropped after 10 carries. I don't really get that. It doesn't seem to make much sense. I bet it's a little fluky, and it fixes itself this year. If they use him right, he's a very versatile player. And, I mean, they need to spell him. So I got no problem with them bringing in a running back. And the fact that they drafted Ajai pretty late, and he's got the knee issue. I'm not too concerned about it.

So, Adam, we hear at the footballers, we have what we call water bets, which is essentially when we disagree with each other, we have a wheel of water that we spin and clown the other person. And one of our current water bets is regarding Ryan Tannahill. So I'm curious your take between who you think finishes stronger, Ryan Tannahill or Cam Newton? Yeah, I have to go with Cam. Yes.

You're so smart at him. Thank you. You're talking about like a six-round difference, though. I'll probably draft Hanahill at his value, but just straight up, you got to go with Cam. Cam. Cam finished that you're pretty damn strong. I don't really like the Funches pick, but I'm wondering if Dave Gettelman is just like a really shrewd GM and we haven't quite caught on yet because they kind of panned him for the Kelvin Benjamin pick. Well, now he has two big receivers who can drop passes.

Yeah, I know. Benjamin was a great player, but he was certainly better than, better than we thought. And the Panthers were better than I thought they'd be last year. What happens if Funchus is marked in as a tight end? Does that change value? Yeah, there's some talk that he might be labeled as a tight end. Would that, like, rocket him up the tight end list to you or make a difference? That's a really good question. And whoever laughed at it should be ashamed of himself.

That was Mike. Mike, right. I think so. I think tight end is so bad. And after Kelsey, there are about 15 tight ends from like Antonio Gates to Josh Hill to anyone in Denver that could finish in the top six. They're just all the same to me. So I think, yeah, I mean, Funches is listed as a tight end in your league.

I think absolutely. I might take him ahead of like a Kyle Rudolph or an Eric Ebron and just hope for upside there. He might be like the number six or seven tight end for me. Very cool. All right. So we're about to wrap up. But we here at the footballers, our philosophy on quarterback is usually late. So what is the earliest you like to draft a quarterback?

Well, it depends who I'm drafting with. If I'm drafting with CBSports.com guys, it's like they're determined to just like you guys show the world. Be the last. Yeah, so I end up taking like Peyton Manning in round four. Oh, I would do that too. Well, okay, I wasn't planning on taking a quarterback in round four, but I'll take Peyton Manning. So, you know, a recent draft I just did with them. I took Gronk in round one and Manning in round four. I ended up kind of hating my teams. I was so bad at running back.

When you take a step back and you look at how good you are a quarterback at tight end, it might not matter. Early up south to take one would have to be a situation where one of the top guys falls, but realistically, round six or seven. All right. Yeah, yeah. That's always a difficult thing. Man, I always want to do your review voice. This one comes in from Will. Morning dudes.

Did we purchase you? And I am so thankful to have found you. You guys are always talking value. So he wants our thoughts. It's a 12-team PPR one keeper. Snake draft. Option one. Keep Eddie Lacey for his third round pick. Option two. Keep Mike Evans for his ninth round pick.

And then, depending on what you say, he has a little follow-up. Okay, I would go with Lacey in the third. The value is great still. I think Mike Evans regresses a little bit. It's still good value in the ninth. But, you know, when you can get, I would pick Lacey with the number one pick. Well, in a PPR, I'd.

still take Levy on Bell, but the number two pick. My answer is Eddie Lacey. All right. That is an ultimate value pick of a guy who could possibly be a wide receiver one in the ninth, but I'm going to take the running back of Eddie Lacey in the third. So his question then is, if he keeps Lacey, does he go top shelf RB if he has one of the top picks? Or should he be looking wide receiver, wide receiver to pair with Lacey in rounds two and three? Well, that's hard to answer without seeing the board in a keeper league and which guys are there.

So, yeah, I would actually say you. I draft Mike Evans. No. Will, you don't go in. I mean, I think that the biggest rookie mistake that's made, not rookie, like the biggest intermediate mistake that's made. Once you kind of figure this out, you've been doing some mock drafts, you're preparing for your draft, is deciding I'm going this position, this position. Because then during the draft, you stop looking at who's on the board as much as you, you,

should be because you're kind of locked into the position you're drafting. So pay attention to who's on the board. When you start out with one player and it's a good stud running back, pair him with a stud running back if he's better than the wide receivers and pair him with the wide receivers if he's better than the running backs on the board. Yeah. That's good advice, Jason. Jason Moore. Good advice. Good enough. Mike B. writes, I just acquired Kevin White in a rookie draft and he also already has Alshon Jeffrey. How would you address playing them throughout the season?

and should I trade one of them for more RB depth picks or just stick with the tandem? What do you guys, what do you guys just view on the tandem situation? Because I can give you a bunch of other ones, Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb. Yeah, that worked out. Okay. How about Andre Johnson and T.Y. Hilton this year? I think that'll work out. Not too bad. Roddy White, Julio Jones. From years past or even this year. All that being said.

All that being said, I think in a, obviously, there's a dynasty league. But, yeah, rookie league. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, so in a dynasty league, Kevin White's value is going to be fantastic. And I think that you don't have to worry about all Sean Jeffrey being...

gone anytime soon. You've got a stud there for a long time, and so I would use the value of Kevin White to trade him because he's going to net you something great, and you compare him and go for the championship this year and still have a team built for the future. That would be what I would do. It really depends on who I can get for Kevin White, but I have no problem playing tandem wide receivers if the offense is producing, you know, like the Green Bay or Atlanta.

I'm not sure that the John Fox Chicago Bears can do it. Exactly. But I don't know what his roster or how many people you have to play. But if Kevin White says your flex or your three, sure, I'll play both. Also factor this in, right? Smoking J. Cuddy in a Dynasty League. How many years is he in Chicago? What do you think? Two. Yeah.
