If you want to upgrade your weekend like we do, you need to get in on draft. Draft is our absolute favorite.

1:42 ↗

DFS app that we use every single week. We compete against each other and we compete against the Foot Clan. We have two awesome tournaments every single week. We got a free one and a $10 entry. And I really encourage you to jump in the $10 entry. It makes the weekend so fun. It is a snake draft. This is not normal salary cap DFS. Draft is a snake draft, which means you actually, when you get a player,

2:03 ↗

Your opponent doesn't get that player, which means the strategy and the fun that we had in the offseason, drafting players, continues through the entire season. We absolutely love it, and you can go to Playdraft.com slash Ballers, or you can just go to the iOS store or Android store, search for draft, download the draft app, and when you sign up, put in the promo code Ballers, and you will get, oh yeah, ballers, and you will get automatically entered into leagues with us. And so it is super fun. It is a free app. You can grab it. We encourage you to deposit and play every single week.

2:33 ↗

And go get that app right now. A fantasy footballer's podcast coming to you from the fantasy jocks.com studios with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Are either of you guys running backs for the Atlanta Falcons? Woo! That was quite the show. That'd be the good life. Welcome. Welcome in, everybody. It is Tuesday.

3:07 ↗

It is September 27th, 2016. We are the fantasy footballers, and we're back again for yet another show. And there is an electricity in the air because the waiver wire show is here. And this is like make or break time for your season. It's getting to week four. A couple signings here, some fab, some fab, some fab money spent right now can go a long way. And we want to give you some names, guys that you might be able to get at a bargain price.

3:34 ↗

that you might be able to just sneak off the waiver wire. The guy's worth spending your waiver priority if you're in that system and saying like, is it worth spending this? Yeah. Some of these. The answer is yes. So props to Mike, his starts of the week, now he cheated. He cheated and I don't care. I don't think he cheated. I think he made it harder on himself. That's how I felt. I mean, I could. That's true. That's true. He picked two guys for the running back starts of the week. And their names were Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman.

4:01 ↗

Wow. And in our league of record scoring, which half-point league, and they're given high-fives to each other, just like Tevin Coleman and Devantza Freeman did last night. In the middle of the field when they're like, there's nobody around. Right. Yeah, they did that on one play. Remember that? That was a great play. And they lateral do each other all the way down the field, skipping and laughing. Yeah. Yeah, in our league of record, they both scored 30 points. And actually, the garbage time, 44-yard run for DeVanta Freeman won a game for one of our league mates.

4:30 ↗

Which was pretty incredible. And I'm sure if you were on the other end of the Coleman or Freeman Express, or God forbid, both of them, you lost. You lost. A funny aside, while we're talking about that of the league. So we all know that Julio Jones crapped his pants, had one catch for 16. Oh, you got to tell this story. That one catch cost me a victory. You went into the game. I was down by point two points. My team, I had a really bad week.

4:58 ↗

And so it was, okay, well, it's an auto loss. The end of the first quarter, I start texting the guys. I'm like, Julio doesn't have a catch. Like, is this possible? We get to halftime. Julio does not have a catch. And I'm fully invested. I'm riding this snake of, is this even fathomable? Is this possible that Julio Jones could get shut out, and I end up winning by 0.2?

5:20 ↗

If that had happened, your opponent also had Kelvin Benjamin, who was completely shut out. So you would have had good. You would have gone up against Kelvin and Julio, and they would have scored nothing against you. And they almost did. I mean, but you lost. But, I mean, the fact is, if he got zeros from those guys, that's actually more than Ryan Matthew scored for me. All right, we're going to jump into the news. Real quick reflections on the Monday night game. Kobe Fleener woke up. Reverse Sampson. Yeah, reverse Sampson. Mike can't let that go. Cut his hair and got seven for 101 and a touchdown. We all said,

5:50 ↗

Look, you add it to the list, right? Emmanuel Sanders, Aaron Rogers, Alan Robinson, Todd Gurley, now Kobe Fleener. Mark Ingram. Mark Ingram, the get right game for a number of players where it was the make or break of, is this a trend that is going to mean that I drafted this guy in the wrong spot or not. And now Fleener, to me, he looked fine. I mean, he obviously played well. This is a game where Breeze had 376 yards and three touchdowns. And Matt Ryan looked good again, played well. Really, the running backs, you know.

6:18 ↗

make Matt Ryan look great when you can dump it to two pass-catching running backs out of the backfield. Incredible. And then you had Julio and Brandon Cooks who both let you down and you just look at the box score and you're going, huh? Wait, there was like almost 800 passing yards. And Julio Jones and Brandon Cooks combined for what, like 30? 29 yards. Yeah. Sorry. Three catches of 29 yards combined.

6:43 ↗

Wow. Yeah, that is not good. So before we move on to the news and notes, there are a number of injuries we need to report before, and then we're going to get into the waivers right in, because that's the meat of this show. Before we do that, I do want to thank the Foot Clan.

6:59 ↗

Check us out on Twitter at the FF Ballers and on the web at the fantasy footballers.

7:26 ↗

We also have our streams today, our streaming quarterback picks for the week. And so we're going to get into that as well. Let's move on to the news. News and notes from around the league. All right. I'm going to start with some big injuries. Shane Vereen, out of nowhere, tricep injury, likely to miss the rest of the season. What in the world do we do with the New York Giants backfield? I think right now you have a little bit of a...

7:55 ↗

a hold in the sense that you've got Rashad Jennings, you're not sure if he's going to be back. You've got Arlene's Darkwa, who I think a lot of people are going to be putting Fab on. We'll talk about him in the waivers, but you've got a bad matchup this week. You left Paul Perkins out. Yes, Paul Perkins. Paul Perkins hasn't done anything yet. Well, it was just said that he was ready to step up, and he's going to get carries. He's been involved in special teams. We liked him as a rookie coming into the year. Yes. But.

8:20 ↗

The point is it's a little bit of a mess right now. It's a little murky. And this current week, it's important to know they're playing the Vikings. And that defense is, they've been all right. They're probably the best in the league. And so it's like, oh, do you rush out and spin on Arlene's Darkwa? Right. Jennings will have, you know, let's say this week is just bad for all Giants running backs. Well, that's two weeks that Rashad Jennings has to get back. And then when he gets back, he's got no Shane Vereen. How many people that were Danny Woodhead owners went out and bought Shane Verne?

8:49 ↗

and now have to deal with this. Sorry, everybody. Pete Carroll said Thomas Rawls will miss multiple weeks with a fibula injury that was worse than expected in case you missed it. In case you missed it, because this popped up at the very back of yesterday's show while I was circling the victory laps with Kristen Michael. You were actually circling the laps. That's a bigger circle.

9:15 ↗

Yeah, he goes outside of the actual victory laps. It's really cool. That's very Jason of you. So look, Kristen Michael, going to be starting. For a while. Yeah. And so will you. If you own Kristen Michael, you shall be starting him. With Kristen Michael, the way things have broken down, and this is one of the reasons I believe in Rawls when he comes back. And I said it on the show yesterday. Rawls is just more consistent to me. Michael has the ability to give you these big, big plays.

9:45 ↗

but I feel like Rawls is that every down chunker. And Michael is still in that role where he is looking for that big, big play. And so if you get it, mixed in with the rest of what he's doing. How can you argue with the starter in Seattle right now? You can't. All right. Ian Rappaport reporting, Jeremy Langford diagnosed with a sprained ankle, expected to miss four to six weeks. We're hearing high ankle sprain. Jordan Howard alert. Yeah, and Jeremy Langford was already showing signs of...

10:13 ↗

last year's inefficiency. We've already had a fumble while Jordan Howard has looked very capable. He got involved in the passing game last week or this in week three. So Jordan Howard, we will be talking about him for sure on the waiver part. All right. Yes, absolutely. Antonio Gates, hamstring wasn't close to suiting up against the Colts, likely to miss another game. Is Hunter Henry somebody that you'd pay attention to? Not really. He's in the barfie tight ends. All right. Will Jamal Charles play this week? Yeah. What do you guys think?

10:42 ↗

I think he's going to get a yes vote from Jason. It's a yes vote from me. I think he's going to get on the field this week. I don't think he's startable for fantasy. But it wouldn't blow me away. If he comes out and gets, you know, eight or nine carries and takes one of them, you know, says, I'm back. I'm going to go with a no. I don't think he plays this week. Andy Reid came out and said there's a chance he returns. I think that is called there's a chance you need to prepare for him opponent. And I don't think he's on the field this week. Mike, tiebreaker. What say you?

11:11 ↗

I'm going to go with yes. Okay, so now we know Jamal Charles is starting. Sure, sure we do. Yeah, what was that Willie Sneed? What was that Willie Sneed? That was very scientific of us. All right. ESPN Packers reporter Rob Demovsky. I didn't pronounce that. Rob Demovsky? Yeah, there you go. I don't get those right. Reports Jared Cook's ankle is not season ending. That's good news for the Packers and Jared Cook. That's about it. It was being reported when it first happened that he broke his ankle and that he'd be out.

11:40 ↗

Zach Erds expected to play after the buy week this week. You got to remember, buys are here. The Packers are on buy. The Eagles are on by. Who else is on by this week? You're going to have to take a quick look at that. Yeah, I'll have to look. That way we let people know. Sure. ASJ claimed off waivers by the Jets. Yeah, they did not have a tight-in. They haven't used the tight-in for a while. So it'll be interesting to see how they involve him. Obviously, it's another good past. He's going to be subject to...

12:08 ↗

probable suspension. Yeah, suspension, right? Well, it's DUI, so it'll take some time. This week is only Green Bay in Philadelphia. Next week is a larger one. There you go. With the Jaguars, the Chiefs, the Saints, and the Seahawks. Michael Floyd in the concussion protocol. Hey, John Brown, now is your time, my friend. If Michael Floyd, like, the situation has completely flip-flopped here. John Brown had the concussion early. If for some reason, Michael Floyd...

12:35 ↗

is trending in the wrong direction. John Brown, a lot of people have bailed on him. He's going to be a must add. 57% of snaps this week for John Brown. He had six catches. He looked like he was getting back into form, ironically, from a concussion. So he's going to have the opportunity here. Pay attention to him. He's another guy we're talking about in waivers. And Des Bryant will undergo an MRI today. Looks like, you know, Jerry Jones thinks he'll play. But we're going to wait and see with Des Bryant.

13:04 ↗

Does this injury concern change your rest of the season outlook for Des Bryant? No, it doesn't change it for me. It's just a one of those. Well, here we go again. We dealt with injury all last year with him. Hopefully we can get some good Des moving forward. All right. It's waiver time. Put me in, coach. I said this on the radio this morning. This is the time of year where one or two small moves.
