I mean, if we say, hey, this guy's worth $10 or 10% of your fab, if you're in a league where you know, look, this guy's decimated by running backs and I'm going up against him and he's got to have him and he's going to bid $40 and you want to keep him away. Go $45. I mean, those things.

matter. And so don't just take what we say, take what we say as far as the value as like a starting point for you, but be completely willing to abandon that. You know your league's better than we do. I think people are going to be aggressive after Jordan Howard. There's still people really hurting for running backs this week. I'm guessing that you're going to need to pay 20, 25 bucks. I was going to say 25 to 35 in that range.

Yeah, I mean, it's not often that you get the opportunity for a guy that could end up, you know, he has what you want. Like, as opposed to Matt Oziata taking over a role where he's been in the league of while and you kind of know the upside. We don't really know it with Jordan Howard yet. So that's exciting. Yes, that kind of gets, that's fun. All right, let's talk about Dwayne Washington. Dwayne Washington, he was much more efficient on the ground, you know.

Jim Caldwell came out and said, you know, Theoretic, the reason he struggled this week was because we didn't block for him. Apparently they were blocking for him a little bit better than they were Theoretic because he had an okay game. That's why Theoretic couldn't run it. It's because they weren't blocking for him. Yeah. That's for his whole career. That's exactly why. Yeah, he has not been a proficient between the tackles guy because that's not what he does. That's not what he does. It's like Andre Ellington when he tried to do that for the Cardinals. It's not what you do. Now, Washington had the same amount of carries, but I think gained something like 29 more.

yards than Riddick did. So Washington's owned in 20% of leagues. I still think he's a name that people don't know. Yes. Because he's not the more prolific rookie names that we've heard out there, the Kenyan Drake's of the world, the Jordan Howard's. But, you know, Mike tried to throw him into a trade yesterday, and I thought I heard the name DeAndre Washington when he said it. So I didn't even hear the name right. But Dwayne Washington has an opportunity here because Amir Abdul is gone.

And they're not going to let Riddick be inefficient between the tackles because you can line them up. You don't have to play him there. Yeah. And so the thing about Washington, I drafted late in the actual NFL draft, seventh round. So that's kind of why people don't know about him. And generally, you know, I don't really concern myself with a seventh round running back. But now you have a seventh round running back who is a prime position to be the guy who's actually running the ball, be the goal line carrier. He's 6-2.

220 pounds and can run a 4-4. So, I mean, you're talking about a guy who is extremely athletic. He showed in college he can catch the ball as well. So it's not like he can, he's just the two-down grinder. He can be involved the way the lions need him to be. And he'll go, I think in some leagues he'll go unclaimed this week. I mean, he didn't do anything that made people go, oh, I've got to go out and get him. If he's, if he was probably picked up last week in competitive leagues.

and won't be picked up this week in other leagues. So I think you can get him affordable. You know, you can drop a dollar or $5 and probably get him if he's still on your waivers, in my opinion. Let me put you on the spot, Jay. Sure. You know, we talk about signing guys off a waivers, but the other side of that equation is dropping guys from your team. Oh, yeah, that's important. And so let me put you on the spot here with Jordan, I'm sorry, with Dwayne Washington. Ooh, okay. Would you drop Matt Ozziata to sign Dwayne Washington this week?

For a play this week, I would. Absolutely. And to put that, as you continue asking people, he's going up against Chicago. Chicago's defense. Dwayne Washington is. Yes. Dwayne Washington is going up against Chicago this week. So on a weekly spot start, I do like that. Okay. And the New York Giants run d's been really good this year. That's who Aziata is going up against. Okay. What about would you drop Kenyon Drake to sign Dwayne Washington? Um.

No way in the world because I am madly in love with King and Drake. And so I am very biased. But in all fairness, I would not because what we saw from Kenyon Drake was that he was the starter. He had more snaps. And yes, he did not get that touchdown, but he played well. He's got Cincinnati on Thursday night this week.

If you need a weekly start, if you've got to start a guy this week and you don't have anyone else to drop, then yes, I would drop Dwayne Washington. I would rather, or I would drop Kenyon Drake, I would rather start Dwayne Washington for this week. All right, let's talk about the Paul Perkins, Orleans Darkwood situation. Paul Perkins says he's ready to step up. Bob McAdoo said he's committing to a committee. Yeah. Committing to a committee there, which is, you know, the fantasy bad news. That's the death squad. So.

Personally, I've seen Orleans Darkwa. I think he's probably the guy to own for the next few weeks, but the long play here is Paul Perkins to me. Because if Rashad Jennings can't get back or gets re-injured or does what Rashad Jennings does, which is not play a full season, I think I'd rather have my chips in the side of the guy that, you know, was drafted to be, you know, a running back by this coaching staff. I think Dark was okay.

This was kind of a little bit of a McKinnon-Aziata situation to me. I agree. And so for me, personally, this is a situation I really like because I feel like it's getting a lot of publicity.

People are going to pay up for some of these guys. And I'm going to avoid all of them. I agree with you that Paul Perkins would be the one to own for the long run because this week's matchup isn't good. And I don't think Orleans Darkwa is talented enough to really take over. And hopefully, I mean, there's that unknown sexiness of, of, oh, man, maybe the rookie coming in. The alliteration. Yeah, I mean, Paul Perkins. Bobby Rainey's still there as well. Getting snapped here. Yeah. So put them at the very bottom of your waiver claims for no money.

Yeah, and if other people bid on them and win them, I'm happy. It takes their fab away, and I think they're going to have a mess on their hands. Fair enough. Let's talk about Darren Sprouls is worth mentioning as well. He's probably owned in your league. I guess he's 50-50 right now. I still think he's one of the hardest guys in the league to start. You just don't know when you're going to get that big game from Darren Sprouls. And look, Wendell Smallwood. He had a pretty good game. He was the starter.

I mean, I, you know, 17 for 79 and a touchdown. That's a stat line that is, he's owned in 1% of leagues. Well, because he hasn't really been involved, but this game, they came out. And as Mike mentioned, Ryan Matthews got you negative points this week. I think that should Ryan Matthews be injured, what we saw was every running back is going to be involved, but Wendell Smallwood will be the guy to have not Kenyon Barner.

And so, Windows Smallwood, if you're the Ryan Matthews owner, I'd be willing to pick him up if you've got a burnable spot on your bench. I think that Ryan Matthews is not going to be long-term injured on this current ankle. And so, you know, next week. He's getting a new ankle. Yeah. They're flying it in. Well, I'm saying, like, I don't doubt that he's injured long term, but it'll be a new injury because he brings, he loves injuries. He's always at the injury shop buying new ones.

But this one, I don't think. Is the Aryan there? Is Aaron Foster at the initial shop? You know he's got the membership. He's got the Costco card. Yeah. He's actually started working there. They gave him the job. So he's selling things to Ryan Matthew. You're here so much. Why don't you work? He works in the back. Yeah, they don't bring him out front. He ships stuff out. Yeah, I like this. The injury shop. This is good. Let's move on to tight ends, or as I call them, the nameless bunch. Because, look, I don't know who to start.

I don't. I have no... Look, if you put me in this position this week, listen to these names. Cameron Brate, Dennis Pitta, Zach Miller, Jason Whitten, Gary Barnage. Tell me who to start, guys, because I don't have a five-sided coin to flip. I was hoping you'd throw Kyle Rudolph into there. Sure, why not? Then I would start Kyle Rudolph. You would, huh? I would. Kyle Rudolph, I heard a stat this morning that behind Greg Olson and Jordan Reed, Kyle Rudolph has the most targets for the tight-end position.

So, and we've seen Sam Bradford. We saw him last year in Philadelphia going to Earths big time at the end of the year. And he's already going to Kyle Rudolph, seven for 70 in a touchdown.

against the Panthers. And the running game of the Vikings has not been able to get going. You know, we were talking off air, and I asked the guys what team they thought had the lowest yards per carry in the NFL. And of course, the name that comes up is Jacksonville, because you've had Chris Ivory who stunk and T.J. Yeldon who stunk there. But it's actually been the Minnesota Vikings at 2.1 yards per carry at the running back position.

That means you're going to have to throw the ball eventually. And I agree with you. Kyle Rudolph is a talented tight-in as well. Let's not forget that. Like two years ago, he was one of those guys where you wanted to draft him because you saw the big upside. The limitation of Kyle Rudolph has always been the offense. They just don't pass enough. But if the running game can't get going with Sam Bradford there, who's better at really gunslinging than Teddy Bridgewater was, I agree. I still think Kyle Rudolph, look, I understand he scored twice.

But I think that's the illusion here. I mean, Kyle Rudolph, out of the top four guys that you mentioned in that target range, he has by far the least amount of total yards. You've got Olson and Pitta and Reed that are far ahead of him in total yardage. And even those targets that are there, he's not catching as many of them. I think when the touchdown isn't there for Rudolph, he's going to burn you and burn you bad. I'd rather roll Pitta out there.

Then I would. If you had said Pitta in that list, I missed it because you know that I like the two hip. I did. I did say Pitta. Oh, he's got two hips again. Dennis Pitta, the two hipper. My favorite tight end right now to own that is kind of that has been a waiver guy probably owned now is Eric Ebron. Because he is really involved in that passing game. He does not need the touchdown to have a serviceable game. This last week, eight targets, five catches for 69 yards.

He didn't get a touchdown, but he didn't destroy your team the way that a Dwayne Allen. Dwayne Allen needs that touchdown. Most tight-ins, you know, you have to get that touchdown to be in the top 12. I don't think you have to with Eric Ebron, but he is also a great red zone weapon. You've seen him grab touchdowns this year, and he's going to continue to put points on the clock. Let's talk about Cameron Bray, because Bray, this is his first week as the full-time tight-in for the Buccaneers with ASJ leaving. He's still...

Up there, you know, Greg Olson leaves the league along with Rudolph at 26 targets of the tight-in position. Cameron Brate is at 17 through three weeks, and two of those weeks, he was sharing time. And so I think he's worth discussing along with Zach Miller, because both of those guys has 17, 18 carries. Miller seemed to find a rapport with Hoyer, and if Hoyer ends up staying in there, who do you like more, Miller or Brate? Definitely Brate for me. Brate has not had that complete, you know,

single tight-end role where he's been sharing with Austin Saffarian Jenkins. So there is room to grow for Brayt, whereas I think with Miller, I think this last week we kind of saw his absolute upside. And granted, it was fantastic this last week. But I don't think that Miller's going to have, I mean, when Jay Cutler comes back, does that change things drastically for Zach Miller? I think Zach Miller...

is going to be very involved if Alshan Jeffrey is limited. Yes, and that's what we saw last year. And he's a, you know, he's also the safety valve and the goal line play when you don't have a healthy Jeffrey. And Kevin White is still finding his footing in this league. And so I'm kind of interested in Zach Miller moving forward because you saw him at the end of last year be a very prolific tight end. So I think he still has that kind of an upside in the offense.

I think this is why it's a five-sided coin between those guys or whatever you want to call it. Mike calls it the bar fees. The bar fees. I mean, it makes me, I guess, really wish I had a must-start Greg Olson because I'd love to not think about this. Interesting.

All right. Let's talk about the quarterback position. I know everybody in the world is starting Trevor Simey in the rest of the year. Of course. 43 points of nothing but the best. Here's a normal one quarterback. Of course you do. Let me ask you this. Let me put you in a funny position. Carson wins or Trevor Simey in the rest of the season. Oh, Carson wins. Yeah, I'll go Carson wins. Yeah, I do too. But why? Why do we do that? Is it because of the pedigree?
