To give you some perspective, they were 20th in offensive efficiency last year, and they rushed the ball at the eighth most times in the league. And I don't see that changing. If anything, I think they could be in the top five rushing attempts this year. Oh, J. Stu. And so for me, a rookie with limited opportunity in a clear wide receiver three role, because I'm putting Olson ahead. For sure. I'm putting basically...

Benjamin and Olson ahead of him in targets. He could make a splash in the red zone a little bit, but I'm not, that's basically where I have him.

Yeah, Calvin Benjamin made it seem like it can be done in Carolina with Cam Newton, but that was because he was the only wide receiver there. Now with Funches coming in. Don't forget garbage time. Yeah, and with Funches coming in, I don't think he's as good as Calvin Benjamin was coming in. He's still got, he's very, very raw despite his measurables. And I think that there's not going to be, you're already taking the ball and spreading it around a little bit more.

Also, he said in his email that he's in a 10 team. Now, it's a dynasty, so maybe there's some long-term value if he can refine those skills. But in a 10 team, you're pretty much only dealing with studs. And I don't see Funchus really ever being a stud unless he's allowed to play in the tight-end position, which they've already come out and said they're putting them firmly. Yeah, they're not doing that.

Hopefully that helps a little bit. I don't see high upside for him. All right, let's go a little rapid fire here. So we'll try to answer a few more questions before we have to finish the show here. This email comes in from Derek from Massachusetts. He says, hey, bros, thanks for the great show. He is a keeper question for us. He's in a one-point PPR 12-team league. They can start one quarterback.

Two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight-in and one flex. He can keep DeAndre Hopkins for a ninth or Travis Kelsey for an 11th. Hopkins seems like the choice to me, but he likes Kelsey's upside. What are your thoughts? Hopkins. You take Hopkins because you, and then you can go a little bit more aggressive on Kelsey if you want. You can take him in the fourth, but then you can still grab studs in the first through third round. I agree. Email coming in from Pablo, he's emailed us before. It says, Hey, Chetro, Bradigan, and Repet.

Listening to Thursday's podcast wanted to throw it out there as a talking point. Why would you rank Jeremy Hill in front of Mark Ingram? Ingram had three more receptions than Hill in three less games, and the Saints have a stronger line now this season. Yes, Ingram has Spiller, but Hill has Geo. What do you guys think? Is the gap?

very large. No, I think it's a history, right? So in Mark Ingram, you've got a guy who's been in the league for many, many years, has never really done what they said he was going to do until he gets on a contract year, and has dealt with injuries year in, year out. And so there is some upside, right? They improved the offensive line, but then, like you said, C.J. Spiller's coming in. But the difference here is the fact that Jeremy Hill, he came in as a rookie and didn't get used in the first part of the year that much. And when he took over, he took

over. And so it's really about projection and where the needle is pointing. And so for Mark Ingram, I see the needle pointing flat, which is still good. He had a very good year last year, maybe up just a smidge. But with Jeremy Hill, you just see the opportunity of the potential being much, much higher. That's how I see the difference. I agree. I do like Ingram this year, but Jeremy Hill is just a top talent. He has a great opportunity. He has a quarterback who is...

Andy Dalton and not Drew Breeze, where if the Saints want to, even though they look like they're changing their philosophy and they're going to go run heavy, they still have Drew Breeze, one of the best quarterbacks in the league. And the Bengals do not. So the, and it looks like the Bengals, Hugh Jackson figured out the way that they're really going to win is they rely on that running game. And there's just, the Saints do.

tricky things with their running backs and the Bengals I think are going with Jeremy Hill. You could say it like this. I don't see a potential where Mark Ingram finishes as the number one running back or a top five. But you do see that with Hill. But I see that with Hill the ability. That's a really good way to put it. Email from Tyler. He's in a 12 team, one half point PPR. He's drafting at the two spot. He doesn't know what the first guy is going to do. So he wants us to rank these three running backs in half point PPR format, which is kind of our preferred format.

Levy on Bell, Jamal Charles, and Eddie Lacey. But now, there's a catch. She wants us to put our heads together and give them a consensus. Is that possible? I think it is pretty possible. I'll say this. My three are Lacey, Bell, Charles. As of right now with the three-game suspension, I'm happy to jump in on that consensus with you, Mike. I'm right there. If it was full point, I would put Levy on Bell ahead. Yep. So we got a consensus. That's pretty easy. Bing. Yeah, bring the bell. All right.

Okay, so no one's tweeting and you continue on. We will get five tweets. I never should have started this last one. Ten-team Dynasty PPR. It's a brand-new dynasty 25-round draft. He's drafting 10th, and he wants to talk strategy in a position like this. You know, Mike, the common strategy of a two-quarterback 25-man Dynasty League drafted 10th. Easy. How do you view rookies and younger guys against the veterans? And then he thanks us for answering this question, which is going to be difficult.

But let's see what we can do. What can we offer him by way of philosophy here? Well, when you're going, Dynasty, the rule of thumb. Yeah, so the rule of thumb for Dynasty is wide receivers kind of rule the world. If you're in a two-quarterback dynasty, you really want to have Andrew Luck. You're not going to get him. I wouldn't think if he's 10th out of a 10 team. But if you can get a good...

You need to get a stud quarterback. A foundational quarterback for that roster. Yeah. And 25 rounds. I mean, you got to do your research. Here's at the 10th spot, 10th or 11th, obviously on that turn, you have to take a quarterback. Right? It has to be one of your first two, for sure. Yeah, you just can't go in a two quarterback league with.

with missing out on that. But hopefully, here's what I would do. I would talk up to all of your league mates all offseason about the unimportance of quarterback so that some of them drop down a little bit to you. That's just what I would employ. And to clarify what you're saying, young wide receivers are really what matters just because of the longevity of the career. Yeah, you get to keep them forever. Yeah, there's still studs like Antonio Brown has still, he's got plenty of years on him. Julio Jones still has plenty of tread on the tire.

Yeah, if you're in a fresh dynasty, in terms of your question about rookies and younger guys compared to established veterans, I think you can do a healthy mix because that might mean the decision of being able to win right now versus just saying, hey, I'm going to go build for four years from now. Mix them together. Because you're going to have rookie drafts every year that you can make the right choices on because you'll be listening to the show. And that's what I do. I mix them.

I mix them pretty good. The first thought that came to my mind was actually... It makes it real good. It was go for the win now. I feel like when you're doing the startup draft, I mean, yeah, you want to maybe use some of your later picks, be a little bit more clever and do more research into the real sleepers, the two-year, three-year guys that are out there, you know, look on high-power offenses at rookies, you know. Projective forward. Yeah. Dorset and those guys. And do those for later-round picks, but in your first half of the draft,

Draft the best fantasy team for this year and go win that championship while everyone's freaking out about the rookies. That would be my strategy. Yeah, or join a normal league. No, I'm just joking. No, that sounds like a great league. Yeah, it does, actually. If you got guys that can commit to that, that's what it's all about. Any other thoughts, guys?
