or Peyton, but I'm really souring on Peyton right now. So I feel like I'm leaning more towards nobody. The problem is, you know, in a keeper league, that pick that you get back, how good a value is it going to be? But I think I would just go with those two running backs and leave everybody else. I would absolutely go Lacey Hill, Lamar Miller. Yeah, and I could go either way on those. I think you've got to take Miller if he's available for the third round pick, so I'm okay with that. All right, let's go to the next question here. What's up, guys?

147 passagesabout Julio Jones. I'll shanahan's the new coordinator, and in his offense, whoever the ex-receiver is usually gets the, I mean, top five targets in the NFL. I know Santana Moss and Pierre Garcone, even guys like that were top five in targets. So I'm excited. I have Julio Jones as like my second receiver behind Antonio Brown. But my question is about Roddy White. What kind of value does you have related to this offense?
Is he just a wide receiver three, and that's as much as I can expect from him? I just wanted you to speak to Roddy White and where you guys see him from next year. Thanks, guys. Yeah, happy to speak to Roddy White. I think we might have a few differing opinions on him, but for me, I have a lot of concerns with Roddy White. He hasn't played a full season in three years. His receptions have been down since a couple years ago, and he hasn't had a...
thousand-yard season in three years. So for me, he's also on the downside of his career age-wise. So I don't see him having a year that surprises you. Last year, he had 80 receptions, and that's where I have his peak at, 80 receptions. Could that make him a wide receiver two? Maybe if he gets in the end zone enough. But for me, he is a wide receiver three or beyond, and I don't have a lot of confidence in it. Mike, I don't know how much you really disagree with that assessment. No, the numbers, I have a...
at 80 and a thousand, but I have him scoring about seven touchdowns. So he's a two for me. I think that Falcons' offense is going to be spectacular. Julio Jones will be the featured guy, but the coverage is going to have to roll to him. Roddy White, I think Roddy White can still get it done. For him, it's all about health. If he can maintain that health for 16 games. Yeah, then you're going to get a spectacular fantasy guy and probably at a
a decent value because people are souring on him because he does keep getting hurt. But I'm still going to take the risk on Roddy. Yeah, you can get a value for where he's being drafted. But we have to realize his absolute upside is wide receiver 2. There's no world where we live in where he finishes the year as a wide receiver 1. I don't even think if Julio went down for the year. Like 2007 world. Oh, I think you could. Well, you do. You think in 2015. Yes, I do.
Well, he said that because if Julio went down. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Well, Julio went down and Harry Douglas turned into a fantasy superstar over a thousand yards.
Yeah, my point is that you just have to look at what you're drafting him for on your roster. So, like, you don't want to take this guy thinking he's got the potential to be one of those, like, beast mode wide receivers. You have to draft him for the right spot. For me, on my team, I wouldn't draft him to be anything more than the wide receiver three, because then I'm drafting wide receiver three who has wide receiver two upside, but probably is going to be...
in the three or less. So position-wise on my roster, that's what I would have. Roddy White's a guy where if I'm loading up on running backs and I keep waiting on a two, I'm perfectly happy taking him as my two. All right. Hopefully that gives you some perspective on Roddy White. Let's go to an email now from David. This is a tough one. He's in an auction league, 14-team, $200 budget, one-half-point PPR.
And so he has, he says, of the following, which four players do you think give me the best value? Adrian Peterson for $53. Julio Jones for $34. Golden Tate for 23. Sammy Watkins for 23. Jimmy Graham for 20. Matt Ryan for 15. Travis Kelsey for eight. And Isaiah Crowell for eight. I think right out of the gate, we'd all agree Kelsey for $8 is in that group. And if you're just talking.
straight value as well should be yeah it's crow well because he take a chance on him with eight bucks even if even if we're wrong and he's not the lead back right yeah if if you want just value then freeze up a lot of cash for the rest of the auction just because they're the cheapest but they're cheap and those are guys who we love kelsey and crow well could produce behind that Cleveland line if he gets the the volume and carries what about Julio for $34 he'd be in that group for me too yeah
At that price, paying $10 more than a Watkins or a Tate here to get what we think could be a top three guy. I think Julio's the third guy for me. Do you guys think Ryan is a value at $15? Ryan, I think, is a better value here, but I don't know if, I mean, I know that he said who's the best value, but that's obviously what he's probably asking is who are the best people to draft here together. And if you're taking two guys for $8, then I would put my money into AP and grab them. That would just be the way that I would do.
And then what about the fourth guy? Julio Jones. Yeah, I'd take AP, Julio, and then Kelsey and Carlisle. Yeah, that'd be a good... Top two and your bottom two price was. Yeah, I get those bottom two for $16 total. Not too bad. All right, this email comes in from Pass. He says, shout out to his league. Les Hom raise. Les Hom raise? Get with it, Andy. I'm just, you know, mispronouncing things. I have to keep only three of these.
He says Jamal Charles, and he's keeping Jamal Charles. Well, then why didn't you just say I'm keeping two of this list? Yeah, there you go. Come on, Pash. Stop wasting our time. Adrian Peterson, it would cost him a third. Antonio Brown for a seventh, Calvin for a 15th. Oh, what? Man. And then it says ODB, his first available pick. ODB is out. So two of Adrian Peterson for the third, Brown for the seventh, Calvin for the 15th. That is... Brutal. Yeah, that's pretty tough. I...
If he's keeping Charles already, maybe you go Brown Calvin, just for the rounds. I'll just say this. I don't know where he's giving up for Jamal Charles, but if you're giving up, you know, a second. It's a one-team league, just so you know. Makes sense. You know, I want Adrian Peterson, Antonio, Brown, and Calvin Johnson for these values. I can't imagine, I mean, I guess if Jamal Charles is...
a third or later or fourth. I see what you're saying. That's a good point. It probably is if he's saying. Yeah. You're putting Jamal Charles in this list. We're taking them out of your list. Yeah. If Jamal Charles is costing you a one or a two, take them out and keep AP, Antonio Brown, and Calvin Johnson. Boom. But if it's not, then Calvin Johnson is an automatic in the 15th. And I go Brown. Yeah, I think I go Brown in the seventh.
All right, this email comes in from Josh. He signs off his email, by the way, as sad Spurs fan. Oh, you will get no Spurs sympathy from the Phoenix Suns crowd. Yeah, we are. We remember. Yeah, and it's sad, really? The West remembers. We got like five titles in the last 10 years. All right. Now that we're done with that. Hey, gents. Cry like Duncan. Mr. Sadface. Oh.
He never has fouled anybody. He's the ultimate I didn't do it guy. What are you talking about? He's like shaggy. The only person that gives him actual competition in that would be Manu Genoblee. It wasn't me. Who's also on this first. That's shaggy. I got it. Oh, you didn't get more. I was thinking Scooby-Doo. I don't know. Hey, gents. We are going to answer your question because you're, you know, even though you're sad. Just started mock drafting for the upcoming season. He's in a 12-team PPR redraft. He finds himself frequently leaning towards stud.
wide receivers, Odo Beckham Jr., Megatron, Des Bryant, or Grancowski over an elite RB. So pretty much what we don't do as much. I'm considering targeting Jeremy Hill in the second round and then cuffing him with Geo Bernard later in the fifth. I love both of those running backs and I want a piece of that run game, but I've never drafted two timeshare running backs. What are your thoughts on Hill and Geo? Well, lots to say about that. Mike, why don't you kick it off? That's a great plan. I plan on doing it. Really?
Yeah. That's a good plan. I'm with him. I'm with him all the way. Okay. Because Gio, where he's being drafted is a good value for himself, period. Like right now, he keeps dropping more and more. So you want to spend a two and a five on one spot or a one and a five on one spot. I think you're going to get Gio be past five. Well, he's saying, hopefully not earlier than round five. Gio has flex value. Let's presume round five and answer the question. Is he is, if, this is a PPR. This is a PPR. Gio absolutely has flex value.
by himself when Jeremy Hill is in the lineup. He's not a one or two. He's a flex guy. And it still works out. And then you have, and you're automatically backed up if Jeremy Hill goes down. You have your guy. And the caveat to this is you're dancing dangerously if you go with the stud and then Jeremy Hill isn't there for you to get an elite running back in the second.
Right. Yeah. It's really hard. I think the point you're making here is it's just bad to go into a draft with such a rigid plan. Because there's only one way that it works out the way that you're hoping and every other way will leave you lost. So he's a 70th. Geo's the 70th off the board right now. He's the 27th running back. So he's getting drafted just outside the top 24. I've never been, I'm just going to tell you my own opinion. I've never been a fan of that situation where
I have to spend a potentially valuable fifth round pick and a redraft on a guy's handcuff that I, if I'm not going to want to put them both out there every week, I don't want to do that. I don't want to put them both out there every single week. I mean, I feel like this would have been, you know, Spiller, Fred Jackson. I mean, maybe you get away with it, but I just don't like it as a strategy personally. I'd rather draft Jeremy Hill and take a flyer on a guy in the fifth, which isn't that far, that could be.
Another one, not a guy who's capped out. Andy, do you have the ADPs up there? I have some. So give me the running backs right around Geo. Okay. And let's see if we would rather, if we were in that. Fair, fair. Rashad Jennings? No way. What do you mean? No way. For me, I would not. Sorry, I'm saying I would not take Rashad Jennings over Geo. I would take Rashad Jennings over Jim. If I had Jeremy Hill. Legerrett Blunt? Hmm.
Possibly. Joseph Randall? For sure. It's PPR. Okay. Even still. Joseph Randall will not be there come drafting. In truth. Okay. Well, Isaiah Crowell? Yeah. In PPR, I don't know. Okay. Tevin Coleman, Trey Mason. Yes. Coleman. Yes, I would. T.J. Eldon, yeah. Yeah, with this. I just think upside. What's Geo's upside unless Hill gets hurt? Well, now you've got a two-way handcuff situation where if either one of them gets hurt.
The other one's going to be an absolute stud, and I truly believe you can play. In a PPR, I think you can play both these guys. I agree. Just give me Latavius Murray and Jeremy Hill and call it a day. Then that's fine. You're not just taking your handcuff. You're taking a guy who can play. In a draft, if I'm in the sixth round, I know he said fifth, but for me, if I'm in the sixth round and Gio's there, I don't mind taking him if it's PPR. He's going to catch a lot of passes. No, you're right. You're right on the PPR. And I think that's...
That's where it changes. If it's standard, then no. I don't do that at all. Maybe I was, I was probably not hearing the PPR too much because I generally don't do that on my teams. Yeah, and I agree. You don't want a situation where you have to spend a really high pick on a handcuff, but the Bengals are, it's a unique situation. Yeah. Speaking of, I mean, Jeremy Hill, I'm actually, what, did you feel the earthquake? Yeah, I really did. Yeah, the ground shook a little bit.
That was Jeremy Hill running in here to say. Actually, just kidding. That was Eddie Lacey. This email comes in from Aaron Kay. By the way, on Jeremy Hill, I'm cooling a little bit, just so you know. Yeah, and that's fine because of the Jeremy Hill expects whatever. Well, not just because of that, because I was just really thinking about his past catches are going to be lower. Lower. And I know he's going to be high volume in that offense, but...
Just a little cool. Just a little bit of cool. And I understand. That's why most people are taking him in the second round because they're scared of the time chair situation. And the third down where I think Jeremy Hill... But really, he's a better Alfred Morris, right? I mean, he's... And the thing about Jeremy Hill this year is touchdowns. He's going to get a boatload of touchdowns. I agree. So what's Aaron from Dallas say? Aaron Kay from Dallas says this. His question is basically all about...
Devin Funches, the wide receiver rookie out of Carolina. He decided to send me all of his measurables, 64, 230, 45-140. He said that he is a freak on paper, great coming out of Michigan. Basically, he wants to know our opinion on Funches because he might be too caught up in the idea of him being a freak and really good. And so what's our thought basically on...
