Like I said, so much to talk about today. We have stud muffins. We've got rising stars. We have some poopers. We got some poopers for sure. We got a good quick question. Spoiler alert. There's no Coopers this week. No Coopers in that section. Is there any hoopers in the?

I think there could be a hooper in the pooper. There should definitely be a hooper in the pooper. Yeah. What a great start. Are you doing okay over there? I'm doing great. Jason, how's the gig life? Oh, the gig life is good, getting a gig up, gig down. Jason moved into a new home. He happens to be in a small pocket of Phoenix that has given him Internet that I have only dreamed of. The speeds that I've only dreamed. When I go over there, the first thing I did, I got on your Wi-Fi. It's true.

I want to see this. I've actually been to your house. You didn't realize it. You can get it. I just sat out front. Got some of that delicious internet. Yeah, you got the Napster going. Yep. Yeah. So it was actually comedic. I went over there. Jason and his family were unboxing and doing those things. And his wife brought out like new place settings and was showing them to my wife and they were really like excited about these new place settings. And Jason and I are sitting there and he's going.

I get a gig up and a gig down. Don't worry about the plates. Yeah. Look at the speed. Different priorities there. Quick question of the day. Gentlemen, we are through week seven mostly. We got a Monday night game tonight. But what offense, all right, so before the season you're projecting these offenses for fantasy purposes, what offense has impressed you, surprised you, or disappointed you the very most so far this year? I'll jump in here with.

an offense that has impressed me very much. And that is the Houston Texans. I was not very high on DeAnd Hopkins at his draft price. And the reason was Tom Savage was scheduled, scheduled to be the quarterback. I had no faith that he's a good quarterback. And that was Hopkins problem is that he needs someone who can actually get him targets, get him the ball. And even the coaching staff got that way wrong. And they.

To their credit, they did to correct it halfway through one game. And Deshawn Watson has been absolutely incredible. Hopkins is back to a stud, elite wide receiver. Will Fuller, off of the broken collarbone. I think he just caught another touchdown on the by week. Yeah. It's never been done until Will Fuller did it this past week. But Watson got it done. Yeah, of course. And Lamar Miller is over here quietly being a really solid running back too, regardless of what.

You think about his talent. The volume is there. The offense is so good. He's the ultimate vegetable right now. Yes, he is. You eat your vegetables. You don't necessarily like the way it tastes. But at the end of the day, you're healthier. I mean, he's not even iceberg. He's spinach. Oh, he's worse than that. Spinish is good. Well, I'm saying, but there's vitamins. Iceberg lettuce has nothing, no value. He's kale. He's kale. So I'm going to go with another team. Let me press pause real quick. I just want to ask Mike, impressed with the Texans,

But going forward, expect the same. You know, you got the number one point per game quarterback in Watson. I just want to ask the question. Do you think that it continues for them after, you know, the buy? It's going to continue. Success will continue. You can't expect five touchdowns a week or whatever you're getting from Watson because not even Tom Brady and Aaron Rogers. You just, no one can sustain that pace. But a tough contest in Seattle, but then Colts, Rams, Arizona. I mean, you have a,

three out of four of his next matchups are fantastic. Yeah. I don't expect the Houston Texans to stay as impressive, but they have certainly been a surprising, impressive team on the back of a great rookie who is getting the ball like crazy. Right. So having said that, is DeAndi Hopkins a top five wide receiver? I put him top 10. Okay, top 10. He should be right around there because the defense has lost a couple of pieces with Merciless and Watt now. We looked at Houston a couple years ago.

When Hopkins was the target machine in the first half of the year, it was partially because their defense was not this run the ball, super stalwart. It seems like they're willing to pass the ball with Watson late into games. Yes. My point was simply, I don't expect it, but Hopkins, top 10 wide receiver. Lamar Miller, top 15 running back, or would you go top 20? Yeah, I think top 15 seems legitimate. Deshaun Watson, top 12 quarterback.

Yeah, I think you have to say that right now. Yeah, so we expect it to continue. Gross. I'm going to go with another team that got a super impressive rookie and they are giving him the ball, left, right and center. In Karim Hunt, the Kansas City Chiefs are clearly the team to me that has shocked me. I mean, you know, in the off season, we had one of the most fun bits I can ever remember on this show talking about how okay Alex Smith is. You know, he's going to.

He's going to get the job done and he won't let you down, but nothing special. And he's been something pretty doggone special this year. He's not picking up your kids from school. No. He's not mowing your lawn. No, he's, he's not cleaning your pool anymore. Way too cool to do those type of chores. I saw him put Tabasco on his eggs. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? I couldn't believe it. Oh, you know what? They weren't scrambled eggs. Yeah. And I don't know if you saw this. When he went at the pool, when he went at the pool.

tie-dye swim shorts. Bright tie-dye speedo swim shorts. He has turned over a new leaf. This is the new Alex Smith. Is he wearing a leather jacket now? Yeah. Well, that was at the pool. It was leather jacket and tight-eye speedo. It was at the same time. Jumped in the pool. Had his cell phone with him. He didn't even care. So the team. So the chief, 17 and 3 over the last two years when they're not playing the Pittsburgh Steelers, they've been a force.

And I will admit, I was wrong about this team this year because it seemed like it was going to be the Spencerware, Alex Smith, and then we're going to transition to Mahomes and to, he's just been incredible driving the ball down field. I think more than most people realize it has to do with Kareem Hunt. The fact that they have that back that can open things up in the running game, get involved in the passing game. It frees up Tyreek Hill. Tyree Kill, Karee Kareem Hunt.

And Travis Kelsey, that's seemingly a guess all you need for a great offense. I will give you my team. But first, I need to announce Jason. What is that? Jason was 100% officially right on the Atlanta Falcons. And the Super Bowl hangover. It became official last night when they faced the 32nd rank defense and went over 90 minutes between two games with the same personnel and couldn't score.

And I heard this debated a little bit on the radio. Maybe it's a question worth asking, but I think the Super Bowl hangover thing is almost unavoidable because it takes so much from a team to get there, to get to the Super Bowl. And we've seen this from the Panthers now. We've seen this from the Falcons with the same personnel group. I mean, Jason, you were dead on. You expected a depreciation.

in stock value on that offense, and it's come to fruition to the point where now fantasy owners need to ask the question, what do I do with Matt Ryan? There's one man to blame. Did you like that horn? I did. That was a nice horn. It had reverb. I mean, it was like we were in a cave of, in medieval times. Hazar! You hear that decay? I know. You like that, right? I do. Sarkeesian. Yeah. He's to blame. What are you doing?

second down, or on third and fourth down, on the freaking goal line, you're like, check out these sweet trick plays. Look, if you don't want to give it to Devonsa Freeman, who is an unfathomably good goal line. Diculous. And if you don't want to give it to him, which, first of all, shame on you. Okay, at least you've got Tavon Coleman. Caviot. Wait, wait, wait, wait, Taylor, Taylor, Gabriel gets the hand off. I put a little call into Mr. Sarkis, as I call him. And, uh,

Look, I was playing against Coleman and Freeman. Oh, I see what you did. You were really happy. And I said, hey, go with the, go with the jet sweep, Taylor Gabriel on the goal. I mean, the two play calls there were just unforgivable. All right. Kyle Shanahan. Yeah. Although. You still have to act. You got Julio targeted. Matt Ryan also, his, his accuracy is, is severely lacking. So was that your, was that your offense or you have? Yes, with a, I'm going to speak to the Bengals too. Dalton looks like a.

groundhog that pokes his head up out of the ground freaks out and dives back in his hole he is terrified in the pocket he stares down at his shoes the second he sees pressure coming i was embarrassed to have ever been a dalton truther after that game because he has so many weapons this team barely touched the ball in the second half and i'm that's my disappointing offense to be fair he he recently learned to uh tie his shoes

So he's just very impressed when he looks down and goes, ooh. At this point, that may be the greatest attribute he has. I've seen a lot of people really criticizing the head coach or even the play calling there. Andy Dalton deserves all of the blame. I mean, look, I get it. The offensive line, I guess, shares a little bit because the pressure has been getting through. But he has looked awful on film.

And we've always been supporters of Dalton, you know, middle of the road quarterback for fantasy football. He's had plenty of success in the past. But if he doesn't get his head on right, I mean, it is. It's not turning around. It's a mental issue. And it stems from an offensive line issue. And you see this a little bit with Derek Cart in the games where people have been breaking through and the offensive line hasn't looked like, you know, he gets 10 seconds back there.

where he's not going through the progressions. But there are no progressions for Dalton. There's a quick look up. The pressure's there. I'm disappointed in that offense. I expected a lot more. You had Joe Mixon in the first half, seven for 49. That's play calling. Never got another carry in the second. That's on the play calling. Well, that's part of the disappointment. The snapshot of the Bengals and Andy Dalton is clearly on the fourth down. This is you have to convert into a first down of the game's over. And he throws the ball away.

You don't even, don't even try. What are you doing? That's a mental down. Like you, you don't, you're not playing for something else. You're, why didn't you, he sure just punted the ball. He should have just dropped it to his leg and punted it and gone double middle fingers to the sky. Don't care. A punt would have accomplished something. Yeah, it would have been entertaining. Instead, you just had AJ Green hanging his head in his hands.

Just so disappointed going, why is my quarterback? Look, fantasy owners with AJ Green and Joe Mixing got zero in the second half. I mean, they basically didn't touch the ball. And that falls on the defense too, but not impressed with the bangles. I expected much better things. And unfortunately, not on the money on that one.
