More than any year that I can remember for both running backs and wide receivers, where they go and what capitals put in changes everything. There is no Sequin that's going to be team proof and just you know for sure he's going to be great. If Josh Jacobs falls down in the second round, if he gets traded up for in the first, those things are going to matter tremendously. So we want you to be aware of who are the prospects that we like on film?

before knowing their location. You can root for some people, root against some people, and just be more aware. Absolutely. And then on Thursday, we'll get into some more of the kind of rookie rundown brief overview before the draft. We'll also make some predictions. Last year we did a lunch bet. Yes. Which horrible foods did people have to eat last year? I feel like that was the eggplant one. That might have been the eggplant line. That was the end. Gross. That was the end of the lunch bets. Yeah. Yeah. So we might do that again. That might be the.

New beginning. But we'll predict some of the homes that we think maybe the right fit. What team is going to go after a Josh Jacobs or somebody like DK Metcalf? We'll make our predictions at where those guys are going to land. And then we'll all watch the draft together. Now, I'm, I'll be honest with you. It's weird being in Arizona right now with the draft. Because you just, you don't get to listen to anything else. All you hear is, is it going to be Kyler Murray? Is it not? I heard this morning that the Vegas had Kyler Murray.

one of the heaviest favorites to go number one that anybody's ever been. But that doesn't mean Arizona or not. And I've been the most staunch Rosen-Hater, Kyler-loving advocate on this show possible, right? I may or may not have a Kyler-Murray jersey. That may or may not have ended up on Instagram. I tried to stop them. I just felt like it was win-win, right? Like if he doesn't go, then you've got to. That's just great social media fodder for life.

I'll wear my max haulgers. Make fun of me forever. But if he does, then I've got the jersey ahead of time, right? But here's the thing. I've just starting to soften a little bit about that take. Like I'm just not so sure. It's just so much investment. If you're right on Kyler, it's amazing. Fantasy owners, it's amazing if Kyler lands a starting job. But if you invest that capital and you don't get...

Something for Josh Rosen, and Rosen ends up great. I've got to probably define our franchise out here for like, I don't know, 20 years. Something like that. Of misery. Yeah. Or joy. All right. But here's the quick question. The NFL schedule released right after, I believe, our last episode of the Fantasy Footballers podcast.

Were there any takeaways for you from the way the schedule ended up? Sure. I'll jump in here first. Look for San Francisco to get off to a hot start. We talk about when you're looking at these late-round quarterbacks, guys who have strong stung.

Starts to the season. And it's very favorable for a few of the guys I really like Josh Allen from Buffalo, they have a pretty nice schedule to start. But in particular, San Francisco, they do have the buy week on week four. So that kind of puts a little bit of a damper on it that if you feel like you've got something at Jimmy Garoppolo all of a sudden in week four, now you're making a decision of do I hold Garoppolo through the by week. But.

It's very soft for not just Garoppel, but all offensive players for San Francisco for the first three weeks. So all you have to do is figure out which one of the running backs you can play in that soft schedule. Right. Super easy. But Kittle. But I think you bring up a good point, though. When I look at for redraft leagues, home leagues, and I'm looking at the schedule, a lot of times people go, okay, I want to see who's got a great playoff schedule. It's like that's so far away. Right. We're probably not going to be right on, you know, the actual year over year turnover.

on defense and who's easy, who's weak, especially by the end of the year. But I'd rather get off to a hot start and draft a guy that's going to help me win games and get in the playoffs that I can then maybe trade at a peak value or something like that. But my one takeaway for the NFL schedule is the Raiders. The Raiders got pretty hosed. I mean, they have, when I look at the schedule, like we already knew what teams players were going to play against. We just didn't know the order. And if you look at their actual travel,

and the amount of miles that they are going to have to put in on the season, not just because they're going to some international games, but they've got to fly to the East Coast and play morning games a lot. That's hard. That's why they already flew their scouts out there. Get them miles, bro. They got the scouts out of the operations. They're not allowed to be in Oakland. They pre-mailed them. Yeah. Smart, Gruden. All right. It came out, though, that was not Gruden. That was all Mike Mayok.

I think the strangest thing of the schedule was the quirk in the Falcon schedule. They don't play outdoors until week 11. They only play three of 16 games total outdoors. And this little tidbit, a bit of ammo on the Matt Ryan versus James Winston's side came from Scott Barrett.

26 of Matt Ryan's 37 highest fantasy scoring games have come in a dome. Last year he averaged basically four fantasy points per game more in a dome than outside, and they barely play outside all season, only three of 16 games. It's really nice for any quarterback, but especially for Matt Ryan. Yeah, that's a pretty interesting bit of schedule news. Let's get into a little bit of TJ Eldon news. News and notes from Around the League, presented by Sleeper.

T.J. Yelden is the running back equivalent of the John Brown situation where you wanted to, I mean, you're a big Yelden fan. You're a John Brown fan. I wouldn't say I'm a huge Yelden fan. He's your guy, though, right? I think he is very capable. No, he's no more of the Mac. But T.J. Yelden signed a two-year deal with the Bills, joins the backfield with Sean McCoy, Frank Gore. Also, Josh Allen is a running back there. So.

On the surface, this signing for T.J. Yeldin seems to punt him into fantasy irrelevance. Do you take that long view? Yeah, I mean, if you're in a dynasty league, so I just drafted T.J. Yeldon in our startup before knowing where he's going to go. And I'm disappointed, right? Because of all the places you go, it's going to take things to break his way before he has relevance. He is going to clearly be behind Lashon McCoy. So if they trade Lashon McCoy, great. Now Yelden has relevance. If Shady gets injured because Frank Gore is also there.

Over the long term, to go to a team that wants to run the ball as much as the bills, and you've got a two-year contract and you're behind two of the oldest running backs in the league. Maybe this works out for Yeldin, but in the short term, eh, yeah, I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if by mid-season he had relevance. Right, but in a redraft, you're not drafting them ever. Do you think that this increases LaShano McCoy's trade possibilities? Like, do you really think that they will now actually trade them? No, I don't. Okay.

Seahawks General Manager John Schneider said that there is no timetable for Doug Baldwin's return. He's going to miss six to eight weeks after sports hernia surgery. We already knew that he was going to have an additional surgery, and he did. Additional. What else he have? Well, he's been kind of dealing with problems for years now. Like a shoulder and legal and everything? It's really hard to have.

Like, if you just knew he was back and he was healthy, that's one thing, but it's just been so long, and this team doesn't throw the ball very much. You mix it all together. Is Baldwin a sneaky value, or is he just an avoid category? He's a void for me right now. Yeah, for me as well. I mean, certainly you could be on the wrong side of that. Like, if he drops into the fifth round and you grab him and he's actually healthy, great. You know, you got a value, but you can get values on other guys that.
