I got to get to bed early tonight to have energy for megaladone tomorrow. You kind of trailed off at the end. Yeah, I was running out of steam. Pretty tired today. I really need to get to bed early. Right after the show, Jay. You can go down. Welcome in, Waiver Show today. Getting into week 13. Hopefully you had a successful week 12, aka you had Lamar Jackson on your roster.

Hard to put into words how impressive that performance was last night. Finally, there was a chance to go seven for seven on touchdown drives when he was finally stopped from his absolute takeover of the Rams and the league. It's incredible that a team can run for whatever it was, seven to nine yards at carry when the opposing defense knows you're going to run on every play.

That can't feel good, especially at Wade Phillips age. Can't feel good. But impressive performance last night. What were your takeaways from that game? Man, I mean, you've got obvious takeaways on both sides of the ball that are completely opposite, right? How the struggles of the Rams offense and the incredible fantasy relevance of the Baltimore Ravens offense. I guess you start with Baltimore's side.

Lamar Jackson right now, everybody who has Lamar Jackson is playoff bound. Right. I've never, I'm yet to see a Lamar Jackson roster that is struggling in fantasy right now because he's the exact golden chip that you look for in a draft. He was a late round guy.

You weren't paying up for Pat Mahomes. You go, oh, well, I thought quarterbacks don't. No, grab the late quarterback that's going to explode. And if you've got Lamar Jackson, you're doing well. And his playoff schedule in weeks 15 and 16 are juicy. Ridiculous. Was it the Jets and Cleveland? Cleveland. Fantastic. So you're happy if you've got Lamar Jackson, obviously. Marquis, Hollywood, Brown.

looked like he's going to be the real deal going forward. He's recovered from his angle injury that's been keeping him off the field a lot over the last month. Mark Ingram, the running game. I mean, Willie Sneed? Mark Ingram was 15 for 111 in a rushing touchdown. And he also caught a touchdown as well. Yeah. And then on the other side, six carries for Todd Gurley.

Was that 22 yards? Yes. Except you got to take three of those yards away because I believe he had negative three receiving yards. So that's good. That's true. It, you know, before the show Al Borland was talking about one of his leagues, how he has Brandon Cook's Robert Woods and Cooper Cup all on one roster. That seemed like it was going to work out. It did. And one of the things that were saying before the show was just the idea that.

Look, normally you're not prescribing the acquisition of three wide receivers on one roster. There is one way that that works. And that works if you have the best or a top three offense in football, passing offense. The touchdowns are coming. The fantasy points are, but. That was last year. I mean, that's what you had last year. I believe it's, uh, it was one calendar year from the 54, 51 Monday night football Rams over Chiefs.

extravaganza and yeah it's autopilot then with those players now you're distributing 212 passing yards across three players yeah one of the it looks so difficult too like everything it felt like every pass that jared goff had to complete i mean aside from garbage time it just it was an uphill struggle for him to find someone over without taking a hit like we're talking about fantasy implications of i would be just as excited

If I have the Baltimore Ravens DST because they are absolutely manhandling people and their offense puts that other offense in a really terrible position, which, I mean, that's exactly what you want. You want your defense with a lead so they can go get sacks, create turnover. The Baltimore Ravens, that 15 and 16, the Jets and the Cleveland Browns, absolutely. The Ravens DST will be just as responsible.

for championships, in my opinion, as Lamar Jackson. Is that a future stack that we should be considering? Quarterback and defense, like the same team's quarterback, because it's like one gets you up. Sometimes I would not have done that with Mahomes and Kansas City last year. That's fair. There's just so many more intricacies with what that represents. You can get, I mean, the chiefs have been ahead of people for.

Two straight seasons, but if you don't have a pass rush or if you can't get there, it doesn't equate to finish the value. And the Rams traded away Marcus Peters for peanuts and then paid in the iron price to get Jalen Ramsey. Marcus Peters is playing freaking great and Jalen Ramsey is tilting trying to fight fans in the stance. Yeah, it was not a good day for the race. The one thing I do say, though, they're now six and five. I want.

They are six and six, I believe, 12 weeks. Maybe they've had a buy. You are probably right. In fact, everybody has had a buy a week. Yes. So the one thing I do want to remember because I like to hear it work through it all audibly, though. That's good. You didn't make me question myself for a moment. Well, I'm thinking of fantasy records, right? Sure. Fantasy records, you'd be six at six. But the Rams go to Arizona next week. Arizona off the buy. It's going to be an interesting game.

I remember in the off season, we talked a lot about the Rams losses on the offensive line. And I actively consciously remember making the decision to trust McVeigh over the problems. And I believe I said that on the show. It's like, these could be real, real problems, but I'm going to trust Sean McVeigh, who at that time had only shown us an ability to overcome whatever scheme problems, whatever issues. Minus the Super Bowl.

minus one game, two games if you include the Bears. But yes, and I made that choice. And it's just one of those things for, you know, future fantasy decisions in the offseason. When you see devastating losses to offensive lines, this, I mean, that really matters. You can't just overcoach a terrible offensive line. Yeah, Goff had a handful of really good throws, darts, and they all came with a clean pocket and set feet and driving the ball down field.

This is not the same Rams. You cannot move forward in your fantasy decision making on the concept that this will be the week. They'll become the old Rams because we're 12 weeks in. Except for this. But granted, this week is pretty nice. It's pretty nice, but I think maybe the ceiling isn't the ceiling anymore. Sure. Is the point. You can always make streaming decisions and start decisions based on situation. But you follow us on Twitter.

I believe he plays Tennessee though. I'm absolutely still. No, no, I'm going to play him. I'm just saying if you're expecting Jonathan Williams to come out for his.

I don't know where for his third 100-yard rushing game, I think that's a mistake to expect that. James Connor says it'll be a little longer before he's ready to play. Benny Snell, you need to add him. Yes. Benny Snell with, what, 60, 70% of rushing attempts last week. Over 20 carries almost 100 yards. You've got to add Benny Snell. Andy Reid says he is optimistic about Tyreek Hill coming back in week 13 against the Raiders. Oh, please.

Lasham McQuay also not in the league's concussion protocol. We do not have any update on Damien Williams that I've seen yet. The update will come today. The only day that they were in there with media access, they were not asked about Damien Williams, but remember he injured his ribs in the last game. I would assume just based on the timeline and the injury that he would be good to go, but that is worth noting. This is the waiver wire show. So maybe if Shady is out on waivers or Damien Williams or Darrell Williams, you take a look.

All right, we don't know whether David and Joku will be active. It's too early to say, according to Freddie Kitchens. I've been down this road before. It was called Chris Hurndon.
