Anything else exciting going on this morning? I feel like I'm ready to get into it. No, I'm feeling good. I made, I got the man bun up and I made him with the combination, double man bun, but the combination of the man bun and my beard, I made the realization that I look like the Mandarin from Iron Man. Oh, totally. Yeah, for sure. Give up, give a profile here. Look at me for anybody watching this, which you can now do. Oh, it's beautiful. It's beautiful. Especially when I put the shades on.

You're a good looking man. I got the hate blockers. I look like I'm trying to take down Ironman. News and notes from around the league. It would not be an off-season podcast if we didn't have a mediocre wide receiver signing. The only news breaking these days. Greg Jennings. Greg Jennings. Greg Jennings. He signs a two-year deal with Miami. He's putting Miami on his back. I still, I can't get enough of that video. Miami's not a bad place.

Miami's okay for him. He comes in as a veteran, but we talked about him last week. He's only 31, apparently. He just looks 38 when he's not with Aaron Rogers. But he's coming into Tanna Hill, Stills, Jarvis Landry, Jordan Cameron. Muddy's the water, I feel, for land. Yeah, exactly. I was, you know, I don't, I don't think it'll hurt Landry that much, but it just makes me less confident in, you know, picking up Landry or taking a flyer on Stills. You know, those...

Those aren't... Mike, Stills or Jennings? In a deeper league, if you had to start one of those guys, who do you think is going to be more productive? I'm going to take the shot on Stills just because of what I have to pay. I think Jennings is still a solid receiver, still runs great routes and has good hands, but for the pop of the investments, I'm going to go with Stills. Upside? Yeah.

There's some news that the Browns are now front runners to land Marriota via trade. There's been a lot of Marriota trade rumors. There's also talk of a Tennessee Chargers trade. If Marietta ended up in either Cleveland, San Diego, or Tennessee, where do you like him the most? I guess San Diego is the far and away obvious. Just from weapons, easy, tools, coaching. If he's in Cleveland, I just, what do we do with Johnny Mansell? Who? Do they cut him?

You don't think he can go to Cleveland because of that? No, I'm just thinking the payroll of the team to have two first-round quarterbacks and you gave Josh McCown a not huge contract, but you gave him some money to come play. So I don't think it'd be strange. I don't like making like absolute declarative projections that can immediately. Because you're a coward. No, no, no. I love making them, but the ones that can just immediately be proven wrong, but I'm going to do it here. There is no way.

that the Browns are actually, I keep hearing, the Browns are really serious, they're really considering, you know who I'm hearing it from? Everyone who, if it was, if they were really interested, they wouldn't be the ones talking about it. They're the ones talking about it. I just feel like it's all misdirection. And I just don't think, I don't, I don't buy into it because you just don't see people, you know, you don't see the general manager saying, you know, I'm really going hard after this guy, everybody.

Yeah, I think it's related to, well, clearly they need a quarterback, and the Browns actually have the fire. They got two first brown picks. Yeah, that's true. They have the, they have the ability to do it. I agree with Jason. I don't think he's going to the Browns. Well, we are one week from the draft.

Oh, man. So next Tuesday show, we're going to preview a bunch of these rookies, talk about some of the better landing spots for them, which guys we think will produce depending on where they land. And then we'll have a show, obviously, after the draft talking a lot about that. Speaking of the draft, Adam Azer on after the draft as well. Yeah, yeah, yeah. CBS podcast hosts and analyst Adam Azer will be joining us to talk a little bit about that. And we're going to see if we can trade Andy for Adam. Yeah.

Yeah, I think... We're going to make a deal. Sorry about that. What? Yeah, it's going to happen. Breaking news. Breaking news. If you had told me this, I never would have asked him to come on the show. It would have been a bad choice for me. Wait, I get to go to CBS, though.

No, well, it might be like a payroll move. So they might just be trading to cut. And then you can come back and produce the show, just, you know, do the cameras and stuff. Oh, I feel so loved. The expiring contract with Andy Holloway. Yeah, I'm making so much right now. Todd Gurley, his knees looking good. There are people saying he might be ready for week one of the NFL season. Oh, man. And now they're talking top 10. He could go Jets. He could go Falcons. Which of those two do you like more? Real quick. Falcons. Oh, man. I would love it.

if he went to Atlanta. I would not personally love it because I want him to drop to Arizona. However, fantasy implications. I don't know. I don't see him going in the top 10. Every year we keep trying to re-hype the running back position and the teams and the GMs are saying, no, no, still not yet. However, Gurley in Atlanta, I guess this is kind of a spoiler for Tuesday, but would just be fantastic. I agree.

I mean, he'd be able to take the reins really quickly there. I wonder, though, how interested they are when they have so many other holes. Yeah, it's a nice division to run against, but it's a bad O'Line to run behind. That would be the thing. Any other news and notes? The NFL schedule was released. We know that the first game of the season is September 10th, the Patriots and Steelers. Not bad. Not a bad way to open the season. No, that'll be fun. Looking forward to that. That's this Thursday?

Let's get into the 10 tips and tricks to win your league. Steaming hot fantasy tip. Oh. These are... Seeming hot. I was waiting for the music to keep going. Like...

the other drops where the music comes out. Yeah. And then we were just kind of groaning by ourselves on the radio. But these are grown-worthy. These are steaming hot. These are beautiful. Grown-worthy. Grown-worthy tips. All right. Let's do it. This first one is one of my tips. Number 10. Number 10, what I call the IR stash. You guys know what this is?

Oh, yeah. I've seen you do it, but I've done it. Let's explain it. All right. So if your league has an IR spot, which a lot of leagues do, some have multiple IR spots, what you want to do is pay attention to those early injuries. Stash them on your IR, which doesn't take a roster spot, and then fill up your bench like you normally would, in preparation for when that guy comes back and you've got a starter, perhaps. And a good example of this is a couple years ago. Yep.

In the preseason, Andre Brown broke his fibula, something like that, broke his leg. Yep. So he went undrafted. He's an O on ESPN. Depends where you play, how he shows up. But he went on the injured reserve for eight games or something. And I grabbed him, threw him on my IR spot. He just sat there, looking pretty, healing up.

And then in week 10, when it came around, he was the starter for the Giants for two straight games. And I could just swing him right into my lineup. Yeah, that's my favorite time to do it because nobody's – you're basically the most forward-prepared fantasy player. When right after the draft, the teams go in, you normally – you know, you don't have to necessarily draft a guy on IR. You can just go on, drop one of your last picks, pick up the IR, and then pick that other guy back up and put them on. Yeah, and I look for the pup guys.
