So footclanhelp.com, check it out. Quick question of the day. What is Devin Singletary Sealing for 2020? Go ahead, Jay. When I saw this question, I basically just saw like, what is?

Devin Singletary, because if you talk about what his ceiling is, I think his ceiling is much higher than the probability that he could actually achieve it. He is a very good back. You know, he averaged over five yards of carry. He looked electric on the field, but he's got a little bit of the Philip Lindsay syndrome where what's going to happen with him, and you saw this, the second half of the year, yes, Frank Gore was there, but he was the workhorse back. I mean, he was getting 15.

plus carries game in and game out. But if he doesn't get touchdowns, you end up with a really efficient productive day with a lot of volume and he's got 70 yards on the ground. And it doesn't feel good in fantasy when you get your seven fantasy points. And, you know, so the thing is, it's about touchdowns to me. That's, that's going to be the.

differentiator as to whether or not his ceiling is reached because he's a good back who looks like he's going to have at least the lion's share assuming they bring in another back but they did not use him inside the 10 yard line that just wasn't I think this is from memory I think he had three carries inside the 10 all season and you know if he ends up with a handful of touchdowns you know

four, five touchdowns, you're going to be really disappointed. Now, if that changes where inside the five, they start giving him the work, and I don't think they will because he's a 200 pound back, then his ceiling changes to like, you know, low end RB1, like an RB12. I just don't think he gets there. What's crazy to me is looking through the numbers and trying to remember because he was so shifty. Like, I mean, he has a little bit smaller, but tied for the fourth most.

runs of over 15 yards despite being 28th and rushing attempts. But then you look what happened to him in the passing game. It's absolute insanity. The inefficiency where they'll hear the final games. One reception for two yards. Two receptions for two yards. One reception for four yards. Like how does that possibly happening to Devin Singletary? That's so weird. That's called giving him the ball right before he gets tackled. That's called a bad decision.

Yeah, I think you're right, Jason, about the fact that his ceiling is very high if he can find his way into the end zone. I love the bills and the prospects of them having a very good offense for this upcoming season, the opportunity for them to be a playoff-bound division-winning type of team. But it will just come down to the fact that much like Miles Sanders, Josh Jacobs, does the team trust him enough to put him on the field?

In important situations, do they pass him the ball enough? Because I think he's, you know, we saw his screen game capability. So if that increased, I think you would see more and more big plays because he's so explosive. But I think he's a top 20 back. I don't know if this is a top 10 type of season for Devin Singletary. Whereas I could see top 10 from, you know, I could see things working out for Miles Sanders and Josh Jacobs into the top 10.

The bills, they traded all their picks, basically, for Stefan Diggs. So, do you, one, do you guys see them spending a pick that they have left on a running back? And if not, then Jason, I mean, you were talking about his build. T.J. Yeldon is still there, and T.J. Yeldon is a larger guy. T.J. Yelden's a 220-pound running back. You feel like he's going to slip in here for the goal line carries like Frank Gore had?

No, I don't think so. I think that if it stays status quo, Singletary will get the opportunity. It's funny, I'm like a college scouting last year on Singletary. I remember thinking if people would use him as a goal line back, I think he'll be very successful because he usually makes the first guy miss. If you just need a couple of yards to get in, he's very shifty, but people get very pigeonholed into the big, strong back that can just move the pile two yards. I like the Danny Woodhead on the goal line. Give me that. Exactly. But the reality is they still.

have seven picks um you know they traded their first but they've got you know i think a couple of twos or they've they have plenty of capital to get a running back and i fully expect them to get a bigger bodied running back as a frank gore replacement i don't think they'll pick one up in the draft i think they'll get one through free agency and you'll end up with a similar situation gore has a certain level of goal line respect that he has achieved for whatever reason but um i think we're all saying the same thing i think

Singletary is a very talented back. It'll come down to opportunity and touchdowns. Do you guys see Hard Knocks is going to be both the Rams and the Chargers this year, by the way? I did. It's very interesting. I assume this is new stadium related. Well, they're petitioning to combine the teams as well, just into one. One record, combined rosters. Who instigated this? Was it the Chargers? Yes, it was both teams. Both teams need.

Some help, maybe. But we don't get Jeff Fisher this time. I know. We don't get the speech. I'm not going seven and nine. I'm not going eight and eight. Yeah. We got on that show. We got on that hard on. Oh, yeah. We did. No, no, no. We were on the Amazon show. Oh, yeah. Okay. Yeah.

Yeah, I thought we got on to us. I thought we were on hard knocks as well. Was it hard knocks? Yeah, it was. I think they put a clip of me bashing Jeff Fisher. Yeah, they did. They did. So what else is going on? We know that the NFL's going to be doing a very interesting potentially.

technologically challenged draft, but we're all looking forward to it. You guys just want to jump into the whiteouts? Yep. Wide receivers. All right, we just did two episodes. Our early running back consensus rankings, there's a lot of fun. We're jumping into the wide receivers now. Number one is Michael Thomas. Shocking. Shocking, right? I, uh...

I think we know what Michael Thomas managed to do last year, break the all-time receptions record, 149 receptions, 1,25 yards, 9 touchdowns, 185 targets. Yeah, that's ridiculous. He was incredibly consistent, and he did it in a season in which he did not have Drew Brees for the full duration, which is incredible. And he was still great with Teddy. Yeah, he was. He wasn't.

the same level, but he was good. And we've heard that stat that, you know, Michael Thomas would have outscored Odell Beckham Jr. if you only counted his home games. That's how good of a season Michael Thomas had. But I did want to go look at the previous reception leader, Marvin Harrison, and his special season, because I was curious about where Harrison went after that point. Sure. And it seemed familiar to me in the sense that.

We've seen the 50 touchdown years from whether it's Mahomes, Peyton, Brady, and then, you know, these are very special seasons, but the record-breaking seasons. And last year you saw targets for Michael Thomas jump from 149, 147 to 185. So that's a very significant jump. And then I look back at Marvin Harrison's record-breaking year. He had 205 targets that season, which is incredible, 143 receptions.
