I mean, we were down seven nothing, but we came back. We won. Not against me. Yeah, that was against our good friend Jeremy. Yeah. So, hey, Jeremy. You just said you were crushing me and I wasn't even a part of that game. We were down six to two against you. Yeah. I won. I won three or four games this morning. I'm going to crush it. Everyone needs to know this. Jeremy. You suck. Yeah. Oh, that's a good point. All right. Quick question on today's show comes in off of Twitter from at Tim Brady FF. What do you guys look for the most from the NFL Combine? We are at.

We are at the Combine. What do you look for most, Jason? Yeah, so it depends on each position. The fun one is obviously the 40. I really like looking at the speed of wide receivers specifically and running backs as well. But my personal favorite thing to watch for is the receiving drills for the running backs. Right, that's nice. It is one of the only places where you can ever get a true apples to apples comparison of these guys as past catchers. And I know it's not, you know,

You're taking the game out of it. So, you know, it's not a perfect representation. But you can really watch and see the fluidity. How natural are these guys at running these routes, catching the balls. You could see the difference between Leonard Fournette and Alvin Camara in the passing game in those drills. And, you know, you watch them one right after the other and get a really good comparison. So that's my favorite event to watch. Yeah, I like that.

What I like about the combine is right now my model for taking a look at these guys, it's just it's production and market share. And, you know, certain guys start popping out. And you're like, oh, I'm going to, I got to watch this guy. But then we can finally get the athletic measurables in there, get a bit of a more complete look at these backs because you see, you'll see some players. Why don't you explain your production market share thing a little bit? So it's the production market share.

The production and the market share, I'm taking a look historically at guys who perform well for fantasy purposes. What did they do in college? Because I don't know if you guys realize this. So college production and college market share. That's what you're talking about? Yes. Okay. That the majority of the time, players who are bad in college, they're bad in the NFL. They don't just.

Generally speaking, it is magically learned. Of course. To every rule. So you have a baseline. These guys were fantasy. They're doing this. They did this in college. Okay. Now this young group of college running backs, how do they compare to that? Just their overall production, which it can be skewed because some guys play, you know, two years. Some guys play three, some four. And then their market share, their final year of their college career. How do they compare to these vets? So some guys start popping off here.

And then when you get a real good look at their actual athletic measurables, it just starts shaping the pie. I'm Patrick Swayze right now. I'm just molding the clay. Good old ghost reference. Thank you, Jason. I was right behind you. I was right behind you helping out with my arms. I appreciate you. I was just reflecting, remembering.

The great Aryan Foster, my former, he's in my, you know. Look, he's in the hall. No, I know, I know. He's in the Hall of, yes. My Mount Rushmore of fantasy players involved, it includes Aryan Foster's beautiful bust up on there on the rock. But I was just out of cure, I was just looking back. I was looking at that production. He had that Monster Junior year, Stunk as a senior. And then the Combine was not kind. He was 4-6-8 in the 40. Yeah, to Aryan. It was just crazy because when you watched him play, he was so fast. He glides. Yeah.

Well, and I don't say that to discount the combine. I guess when I'm looking at the combine from a fantasy perspective, I'm looking for players that surprise in either direction. David Johnson style. Yeah, from what I've seen in college. And then, you know, I guess last year, an example that would have been Dalvin Cook surprised in a negative way. Correct. And that impacted his draft stock. But yeah, you're trying to build out. I mean, Mike's been working hard at building out a model to predict.

There are outliers inside of those predictions. But yeah, it's going to be a lot of fun to see who breaks out. Obviously, the story last year was Dalvin Cook's bad performances, but it was also John Ross and his speed. Yeah. Lack of wearing the right shoes. And then obviously the big story was Chris Jones. Stewart has been released by the Carolina Panthers. Now, there are a couple of different ways to look at this from a fantasy perspective. I have been on point, I feel like, with my trade offers in Dynasty League this offseason, I have pushed so hard for Christian McCaffrey for the last two months. I haven't been able to acquire him. Previously, I had pushed for Devante Booker, and then, you know, you have C.J. Anderson rumors abounding, and Devante Booker's opportunity there, potential.

for it but i i missed out on my chance to get christian mcalfrey so the question to you guys is do you take the perspective of okay this is good news for christian mcalfrey because the former incumbent the timeshare guy john stewart is now gone and so the most familiarity in that offense the most market share is going to go to christian mcalfrey or do you look at it as a bad

as a bad sign because they're going to bring somebody in to compliment McCaffrey. You're not going to give him the between the tackles goal line necessarily. And whoever they bring in is probably better than John than Stewart was. I think that whoever comes in, they might be more efficient than Jonathan Stewart was younger, fresher legs. But that's good for the offense. I don't think they're going to bring someone in who's going to get more volume. And that was the issue. So I do see more volume going to.

Christian McCaffrey. And, you know, I'll just say this. I realize he's never done anything. I like them coming out of the draft long ago, and he's been in the shadows. But they, you know, if you're in a deeper, you know, Dynasty League. They would have to re-sign him. Cameron Artis-Pain. Yes, his contract has expired. He's a free agent. Well, we'll see what they do there. Peace. Peace out. I generally agree. I think Cameron-Darstain's an interesting stash until I realize that he's 27. That's just crazy. He's not 27.

He's 25. Cameron Artis-Pain? Yeah, he's 25. Yeah, that sounded crazy. He's 25 years old. Hold on. We got a battle. A battle royale. He was born June 23rd, 1992 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Cameron. Hold on. Maybe I was looking at the wrong guy. And you were. He's 25 years old. Really? NFL.com does say 27. Cameron, Artisbane on Spotrack has him at 27.

I'm looking at it right now. But I see what you're looking at. I'm looking as well. I have them at 25. This is. What's the source? My source. Yes. Wikipedia. It is the profile in which Google presents to you. Okay. This is a mystery. Look at it this way. It makes no sense for him to be 27 years old. He's also 25 years old according to pro football reference. Okay. Wow. There is a situation happening. How old is Cameron artist pain? He's 25.

It makes no sense for him to be 27. I was shocked. I was shocked when I saw it 27. Wow. Yeah, because if you, if Wikipedia has him at 27. What is happening? They haven't born June 23rd, 1990, whereas two different sources. How, why there's not a 26 in there? He's either 25 or he's 27. We have a Kevin White situation going on here. I'm going to need a birth certificate. For when he was, I almost said for when he was born. For when he was drafted, 25 makes the most sense. Yeah. Yes, it does. Brooks, can you call his mother?

Call his mom, produce a birth certificate. So let camera notice paint. Regardless, why are we even talking about it? If they re-sign him, you know, they might have seen something that they like. It'll show. You always follow what the team does. You know, he's... 18 carries is a... That's tough to see something you like. Well, but they see him on practice squad.
