Does Jonathan Stewart resurface? What's the what I'm looking for? I doubt it. I doubt it. Okay. So you think Jonathan Stewart may be retired? I do believe so. Just like Matt Forte announcing his retirement after 10 seasons in the NFL, Matt Forte. Tip of the cap. Matt Forte was an absolute monster. Great pass catcher. The Jets years, it'll like a lot of football players that, you know, you just, you remember. I think he was positive.

14:18 ↗

Do you? Yeah, I'd say he positively surprised in New York. That's how I'd view it. When he first went to New York. Expectations versus performance? I think it's possible. I agree. When he first signed at New York, I think most people had already written his career off. And he... That's a fair point. You know, he's still produced. I just want people to remember. Matt Forte on the Chicago Bears was an absolute stud. Yeah, we need like an applause track. Ooh, for retirement? Just for, you know, look, Matt Forte, you deserve applause.

14:46 ↗

Nope. You did not deserve that, man. Hold on. Why are we talking about Joyke Bell? Or Jonathan Stewart. Oh, come on. That's the retirement lumber. You lumber into retirement. That's what that sound is. We all have to do it eventually. Yeah.

15:04 ↗

All right, Cameron Artis Payne may have to do it sooner than we think. We have no idea how old he is. One report says 35. Turns out he's 26. He's just right in the middle. Michael Crabtree is coming back. Fantastic. According to Vic to four, he's reporting that Michael Crabtree will be back. There were a lot of cut rumors. I think we had kind of thought he was coming back recently. Bears were going to release Mike Glennon. What a ride. What a ride it was for Mike Glennon.

15:34 ↗

Ian Rappaport reports Teddy Bridgewater is expected to be a free agent. Mike Glennon and Brock Oswald. Have we gone over this? The wallpaper, the efficiency of the wallpaper? Oh, they could wallpaper the heck out of a house. I mean, I don't, I feel like we may have talked about this before, but it's still worth mentioning again that Glennon, Brock and Glennon, they're, they're wallpaper company. It also shows. No ceiling is too tall. It shows how far you can get on height alone.

16:05 ↗

6-7 and 6-6. Brock Osweiler and Glennon. That's what they got. Osweiler wallpapering company. All right. Teddy Bridgewater expected to be a free agent, according to Ian Rappaport. Well, okay. I'm very interested to see where he goes and what he can do. This was just a confirmation of the contract situation and his injury. Did his years actually count towards free agency? So that's all that this was just cleaning up a little bit of a mess.

16:32 ↗

Chris Ivory visiting the Bills and Browns on Monday and Tuesday, both potential destinations for him, compliment role in Buffalo potentially as the banger back behind LaShawn McCoy. I mean, I don't like it as LaShawn McCoy dynasty owner. I want them to be forced to give him a goal on carries, but someone's coming in. We haven't seen anything from Chris Ivory in multiple years that makes you think he can be.

16:58 ↗

He should be somebody's premier back. Yes, definitely. They were going with Mike Tolbert last year up in Buffalo as this backup. Chris Ivory would be a very serviceable backup. He's a very serviceable backup. I'll be sad when Tolbert retires. He's only 21 though. Kevin Colbert or Colbert? Man, I don't know the Steelers GM's last name. What are you going to go with? You're on your own. No interest in trading Martavis Bryant.

17:27 ↗

Brooks is going to need to put pronunciation guides. When you're in a certain category, like a GM or a special teams coach, I need the pronunciation guy. Martavis Bryant. They say they're not going to trade him. I still say we'll see. We'll see. If someone comes a knock in, I think they'd be willing to move it. Possibly. Calvin Benjamin, underwent knee surgery after the season, expected to be ready for OTAs. And that is all I have for news, guys. You got anything else? Not yet. You got them pipes ready, Mike?

17:56 ↗

Oh, I do. Mailbag. Bagel bag. Told you. All right. Well, if you have a question, there are a lot of ways you can get them over to us. You can visit the website. Click to submit a question button. You can dial our voicemail hotline 302464 TFFB. Always love answering voicemail questions. You can also find us on Twitter at the FF Ballers. And today we're going to be answering a bunch of questions that came in off of Instagram.

18:30 ↗

Mm-hmm. Which you can follow us over there, get some behind the scenes. Where'd Tony Meatball go? Oh, Tony Meatball. He was great. Man, I miss him. If you're out there, Tony, we hope you're well. I hope he didn't eat himself. Yeah, well, I would. If I were a meatball? Yeah. We had. It's very dangerous. We had some serious pasta. It's like pizza the hut. Jason and I went to town. We ate everything we could at that Italian restaurant. Oh, you guys. Yeah, you did.

19:00 ↗

Speaking of pizza, the hut. Scenes from an Italian restaurant starring us. Also in news. Speaking of Pizza the Hut? Well, you guys saw the news, right? No. Papa Johns. Oh, I did see that. Is out no longer the official pizza. They weren't, they weren't booted out. It was a mutual decision for them not to be. But Pizza Hut is now the official. Oh, Pizza Hut is? Okay. The NFL. They're a pizza now? Yeah. Oh.

19:25 ↗

Oh, you guys love Pizza Hut, right? No. I'm not a Pizza Hut fan. No, I think a lot of people out Pizza the Hut. I like Pizza Hut. You are? You are a fan. I still remember getting the deep dish ones for the reading program as a child. Do you remember that? Yeah, my son gets those right now. Oh, what is it? Booket program? Yeah, he gets these personal pan pizzas for all these books he's reading. Those were great because personal pan pizza is so small. You just get all that crusty edge. Sounds like a show after the show discussion.

19:53 ↗

All right, first question here in the mailback comes in from Swagosaurus Rex. What a name. Dynasty show was awesome. I've heard that a lot. People really like that show. Excellent. We're glad to hear it. This listener is doing a startup. Dynasty draft doing four-year contracts. Thoughts and pros and cons. I'm sorry, thoughts about doing contracts. And what are the pros and cons? I wouldn't say there's necessarily pros and cons. It's just a completely different game than the Dynasty League we have.

20:23 ↗

Yeah, I would say that's right. It's completely different. We keep forever. And now I assume as a dynasty you're saying you're keeping your 30 player roster or 25, whatever it is, and you are having four-year contracts on it. It just changes things up with mostly with trades. As you say, there are a couple things there. One, I think it can be really, really fun if you have a great commissioner. So if you're doing the league with contracts, you need somebody that can keep.

20:52 ↗

granular track of everything. It makes it exciting for trades because if you have a guy that's got a year left on a deal on your roster and you're looking to pick up a guy that's got three years left on a deal, whatever that is, however you set it up, it just adds another GM dynamic and that's what you're doing in fantasy. You're pretending to be a real owner. So I guess that would be a... This is all pretend. I guess you'll file that under a pro. Yeah. Is that if you like trading, that this will...

21:17 ↗

this will incentivize it a little bit more. Yeah, there's a lot of fun to be had there. I would say under the cons list, possibly, would just be the fact that, you know, if you're listening to shows like this and just about anywhere, that's not usually the methodology that they're going to be talking about. And I know that to me is a con for like auction leagues. I like being able to talk to friends and say what I did and have it easily discernible that.

21:45 ↗

because they play and they experience that same thing. Yeah, that goes for any kind of out-of-the-box league. You don't get to share in the kind of group discussion about ADP or things like that. This one comes in off of Twitter from at Blues Sean. Who was Jason's English teacher growing up? Any name counts. No one knows. Actually, I'm going to go with Kim.

22:11 ↗

Kim? Last name, Kim? Nope. First name Kim. I know, I don't remember her last name. I was, uh... Seems frightening that you know her first name. Seems a little strange, Jason. Seems worse that you know her first. Yeah, correct. Um, but I don't remember her last name. This would have been freshman year. Maybe no sophomore year. Okay. This is, this is bad territory. Uh, what's the, what's the earliest teacher you can remember? Like, how far back can you go? Oh, Miss a motto.

22:36 ↗

That's first grade. Okay, so you can't remember your first. Yeah, first grade. Miss Holmes. Yeah, Mrs. Faulkner. I guess Ms. Holmes. Oh, I had Ms. Holmes. Oh, never knew. You never, she wasn't one of the... Well, it was, it was, you know, the mysterious Ms. Ah, gotcha. Gotcha. Yeah, that was the polite way to say it. All right, before we move on, I do want to thank you for... Well, actually, I want to think we got a couple sponsors we want to thank today. Yes. Jason, you want to kick it off? Sure. You know, look...

23:05 ↗

When it comes to your health, you know, brushing your teeth, it's one of the most important parts of every single day. You've got to brush. Obviously. And that is why Quip, a great sponsor, they have combined dentistry and design to make a new electric toothbrush. It packs...

23:19 ↗

Just the right amount of vibrations. It pulses, letting you know when to switch sides. Even comes with a amount that suction's right to your mirror. It's like the apple toothbrush. Yeah, it's basically like if Apple made a toothbrush. And, you know, their subscription plan refreshes your brush at, you know, the dentist recommended schedule every three months, just five bucks. It is backed by over 10,000 dental professionals. We have them. This is what my kids use every single day. Starts at just 25 bucks. Go to get quip.

23:48 ↗

dot com slash footballers right now. You'll get your first refill pack free with a quip electric toothbrush. That is get quip, G-E-T-Q-U-I-P dot com slash footballers. First refill pack free at get quip.com. I love my quip. Yeah. I quipped this morning. I brushed my teeth this morning. Oh, I got to bust them on that one. We also want to remind you about Ultimate Draft Kit.

24:16 ↗

the ultimate draft gets now available for pre-order so we want to remind you you get the 100 plus player profile videos projections you get all of the rankings the top 200 list we got things that help you for auction we had somebody right

24:29 ↗

right in yesterday asking, hey, is this going to help me in a dynasty league? And I just let him know what was inside the ultimate draft kit and how this is going to inform you. This is going to educate you on individual players so you know who to target in trades and acquisitions for dynasty leagues. And so we're always trying to improve this. We're trying to make it better every year. It's got Matt Harmon's reception. I was going to say someone tweeted at us and Harmon and said, where's your, where's your rookie and your reception? Oh, they're coming. Will it be with the footballers again? And I said, yep.

24:57 ↗

Oh, it's going to be even better, too. We've got upgraded graphs and charts and things that really make it easy to digest that information. And look, our job is just to equip you to make the best decisions in your 2018 draft. And you can do that at ultimate draft kit.com. All right. This question comes in. It's not about your English teacher, Jason. This one is from Kelly Clark. She says, I'm presuming it could be a he. Sure.

25:21 ↗

But will Jimmy Hanselam Garampolo be able to continue his dominance into the 2018 season? This is going to be one of the biggest questions all offseason. Do you believe in Jimmy G? Because the money, the check they wrote, they believe in Jimmy G. They certainly do. Yeah, I think he will continue doing what he did. But what he did was overstated. You know, people think that what he, you know, his fantasy performance, he was not a top five or even a top 10.

25:49 ↗

quarterback. He was great compared to what they had. He won games and it got a lot of buzz. But as far as fantasy production, I think most of the time those six games he was in, he was much more around a quarterback 15 to 18 range. So I think he'll continue that. I'm not drafting handsome Jimmy with an expectation of him breaking into the top six.

26:18 ↗

even top eight quarterbacks. That's my take. I'm actually completely with Jason. Yeah, I think it comes down to the hype may grow on him if they equip him. Sure. He played great with very limited weaponry. And so if you equip that tool belt with another top flight wide receiver, the returning Pierre Garcin, you know, you get you have kiddle and you have some other pieces there, but you need a top flight addition to the wide receiving.

26:47 ↗

core, in my opinion, for me to get on board and say, because you don't generally see a top six, top eight fantasy quarterback that doesn't have, you know, a big time weapon. And I don't think Markey's great win is going to be enough to get him over that hump. It's, it's Kyle Shanahan's system. We've seen to be extremely friendly for fantasy quarterbacks. What was weird about Jimmy is the yardage was there. I mean, you're talking he averaged over 300 yards a game.
