This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Every football fan is different. Some won't wash their lucky mustard-stained jersey until the season's over. Some insist they can't sit down on third downs and some pick their favorite team because, I don't know, just like football fandom, nobody's life is exactly the same. And that's why State Farm gets to know you, not as a policy number, but as an actual person.

so they can help personalize a coverage plan that's just for you. Whether it's game day or just another Tuesday, State Farm has you covered. This is the story of the one. As a shipping manager, he's running the dock, stocking supplies, and making sure every order goes out on time. And Granger helps him stay prepared. From shipping supplies to PPE to hand tools, he counts on Granger to keep products moving and trucks rolling. So his operation runs smoothly.

No matter the shift. Call 1-800 Granger. Click Granger.com or just stop by, Granger, for the ones who get it done. A fantasy footballer's podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Oh, my goodness. Are you kidding me? We are the fantasy footballers. Welcome back to the show.

1:53 ↗

All of our MCLs, ACLs, whatever it is, they're intact. Ours are. No one else's. Yeah, the update. Everyone's dead. Injury. That was insane. It was almost just a comical every two seconds. I got some sleeper bot alert or some notification. Oh, Kindle Wright. Kindle Wright's gone down. Oh, no. Now Brandon Marshall's laying on the ground.

2:23 ↗

Cameron Wake. Cameron wakes out. It was a full Greek tragedy that we experienced yesterday. Yeah, we couldn't decide which direction to go, but we had to say something about this mayhem that took place. I mean, it was a bloody Sunday. For sure. And it was, the question was posed everywhere whether any fantasy team really survived injury at all because of the quantity. And so we're going to go through all of those injuries, including the headliner.

2:53 ↗

Levyon Bell. You know, you said this yesterday off the air on our little chat window, but this is a great example, a great reason why you don't quit.

3:06 ↗

on your season. Don't quit on fantasy football because crazy things happen and teams who were powerful fall. I know Andy a couple years ago, you started 6 and 0 and then a couple injuries happened. I lost like five games in a row. Right, exactly. So I had the best team in, so we have our two leagues. We have our league and then I have another one that's my main league. I had the best team in the league. Aaron Foster, now Levi-on-Bel and my team is.

3:36 ↗

Yep. Brutal. Just brutal. It was a tough week for injuries. Week 8. Still got a game tonight. Still got the... Yeah. There's more chances for more people to get heard. Here's another headline from tonight. If the Colts lose to the undefeated Panthers tonight, the Houston Texans are division leaders. Wow. They're tied. They would be tied. And the Jaguars, the Jaguars would be a game out. That...

4:03 ↗

Gus Bradley, baby. So they are the NFC South of this year. There is always one. And I mean, I just assume the Colts would run away with it, but they're doing their best to just make it laughable. I said during the game yesterday, I was confused why the Houston Texans were wearing Jets uniforms as the Jets defense was not tackling anyone. Very not common like the Jets. And then someone...

4:30 ↗

tweeted me and said, hey, hey, now, don't disrespect. They might be leading the division. That's nuts. Houston, who's played so bad could actually be in the playoffs. I lost a... You're talking about Tennessee or... No, no, no, he was inferring because the Jets forgot how to tackle last week. Yeah. And they looked like the Texans. I see. I see. Oh, because they're division leaders. Yes. And I lost a matchup because of the Jets. Yeah.

4:59 ↗

The Jets were terrible. I'm very glad I benched them in our league of record. Yes. I was going to either play, you know, that matchup looked juicy enough. But crossing the country, apparently, not so good. Nope. All right. We've got a good show, a Monday show for you today. We're going to go through the Fantasy Rewind, talk about the fantasy stud muffins of the week. Have we introduced? I'm doing it right now. Oh, okay. And then we've got the pooped in his big boy pants, our Monday night preview. We got a mailbag today.

update i'm going to be four and four in that league uh you the you started i started one and four and i wanted it i wanted the people out there to know you don't have to give up at one and four and then i was going to come back and win the championship and so all i've done so far is win those three games so that's all i'm you know boasting about as of right now and and that's also but i took care of business that's including losing arian foster which throw that out there for owners that feel like an injury yeah means give up on the season it does not

6:24 ↗

It is amazing how much one week swings your concept and your perception of your team. That's true. Because I ended up coming out five and three in our league of record, and I was very, very close to being four and four. Five points away. And I can't even imagine if I was four and four. You'd be feeling totally different. My team stinks. I'm four and four. I feel like I'm on the rise. You would be four and four feeling, oh, no.

6:52 ↗

It's a crazy, I don't know what that's like, guys. I'll shut up. I'm sitting up, top, watching down at you guys saying, hey, that's cute, battle it out. That's exactly, we thought when we saw your record, we were like, hey, that's cute, and he finally did it. Quick question, has this weekend's games changed your opinion about handcuffs? I guess, what's your opinion about handcuffs? No, my opinion of handcuffs is still the same of

7:21 ↗

First off, the team has to have a clear handcuff. If you find yourself questioning or asking someone, hey, who is the handcuff? That means that nobody is the handcuff to that running back. The backup running back when they get to step into the starter role, it's all about opportunity where we know because the Steelers have already given us a fantastic look.

7:48 ↗

at what life is like without Levy on Bell. We know that DeAngelo Williams will be a workhorse. We, it, for, so let's say like the Texans, and they gave us a bit of a preview that we knew that nobody was going to be a workhorse, that you're going to have a bit of a crapshoot to see who's going to be the productive running back. So it hasn't changed, my opinion hasn't changed as the...

8:12 ↗

knowing if there's a guy who's in line to get work, he's still somebody I usually want to hang on to, like a DeAngel Williams or Ryan Matthews. Okay, but let me ask you this. What about a situation this week like Matt Forte goes down? I mean, Langford is very small owned. I mean, small ownership percentage. So that's a, it was a clear handcuffed situation, but I don't think many people were handcuffing him because they didn't know the talent or didn't like the talent. Yeah, I.

8:42 ↗

That's true. I mean, do you think that's the case? Yeah, and the snaps from the Bears showed that Langford will be the guy, and there's not much competition for him. Yeah, he'll be the guy, but the snaps from the Bears also showed that he is no Matt Forte. And so that is, you know, it's like we saw with Alfred Blue that he got the ball a lot sometimes and didn't do anything with it because he wasn't Aryan Foster. So you've got to have the talent and the opportunity. I mean, I am.

9:09 ↗

regretting not spending more money on Fab on Charkandric West. Yeah, he evolved again. I know. Maximum evolution. Yeah, he's doing well. So let's get into the Fantasy Rewind. Weekly Rewind. All right, guys, you ready for this? Yeah. Let's do it. All right. Levion Bell, torn MCL, out for the season. They're expected to put them on IR. Expect it. Nothing's official yet with Lev Bell, but that's...

9:42 ↗

That's all the news right now. Steve Smith, torn Achilles. That one is official. And Jim Harbaugh said he thought he wouldn't retire. He'd want to come back from it. I'd retire. Yeah, that's the question is, this isn't will he, you know, how good will he play? It's will he play again. Yeah, Matt Forte. Matt Forte, we're still waiting a little bit more news from him. But it's an MCL, right? Yeah, the initial report is that he has an injured MCL. We don't know the degree.

10:11 ↗

of the strain? I think it's strained. I think that's the proper medical way. They're talking multi-week, though. Are they? That's the last I've heard is multi-week, yeah. Oh, I've not heard that part. So wait and see a little bit on the final report on that, but yeah, Langford will fill in for Forte. And he did play through a sprained MCL back in 2009. So it just, you know, maybe he misses a game. Maybe he misses two. But Langford's a nice jump fill-in.

10:40 ↗

type of guy. Reggie Bush, the man I woefully spent $10 a fab on on like Saturday morning because I thought he'd be the starter over Hyde. If you are Reggie Bush. Torn ACL, by the way. Torn ACL, the outside surface of the Rams playing area got somebody again. This is back-to-back weeks. It's ridiculous. He looked pissed. I can't even imagine how mad you are. Like,

11:07 ↗

How much money did they cost him? Speaking of careers being over, Reggie's going to be 31, I think. He's an older running back, and now a torn A. Sierra lies on quickness. It's like his career could be over as well because some idiots don't just pay a couple extra bucks and turf out the rest of the area. That'll be discussed. So you picked up, Reggie Bush, right? Yeah. Who'd you drop? CJ Spiller. And who else got injured?

11:34 ↗

Kyrie Robinson. Oh, Kyrie Robinson broke a leg is what it looked like. Did we get a final report on that? I have not. What are you reading? No, Jay. That's what I'm reading is almost certainly broke his leg. He was in an aircast. Yeah. So that's not normally a good thing when you're in an aircast being carted off the field. So, yeah, just add him to the list. Cameron Wake from Thursday torn Achilles. Ricardo Lockett got knocked out. Yes. Brutal. Concussion.

12:04 ↗

Not that he's on fantasy teams, but just another guy that, I mean, it was such a brutal injury. Keenan Allen went down on that amazing corner touchdown catch. He has, apparently it says back spasms. Yeah, so that's good news because the initial concern was, uh-oh, did he re-aggravate his hip, which he had injured a couple weeks ago. So if it's just back spasms, you would think that moving forward he'll be able to play?

12:31 ↗

next week but you got to monitor this situation here so what what happened to calvin johnson calvin johnson came down he he went up so he left the game right yes he went up uh for a nice grab came down funny on his ankle and i'm not sure how uh beat up he really is with that ankle the i are the lines on bye next week uh i don't believe so they aren't i them

12:55 ↗

Yeah, I don't. I'll check that up. I can't remember. So it was a, and because the score, the game was way out of hand. So it might have just been one of those. Yeah, it's, it hurts. So I'm not going to push myself through it.

13:08 ↗

All right, I'm going to go through these ones fast. You guys tell me if you want to talk about somebody. Josh McCown, out with his shoulder, Eddie Royal with a knee, Larry Donnell with a neck. They're saying that's a back spousam issue. Orleans Darkwell went out with a back injury. Dwayne Harris with a knee. And Brandon Marshall had a couple, two separate injuries that he came out and said they'd have to be evaluated this week. One was a toe injury and another one I believe was a knee injury. And both, he came back after both. I saw him wrapping up his ankle.

13:37 ↗

So, yeah, played through him, but you never like seeing a guy getting nicked up. Those things take a toll as they, you know, especially if there's multiple injuries, you're not going to be able to make your cuts as quick and things like that. Also, Larry Fitzgerald, we saw him. Enkle. He came back in the game, so he should be okay. I know we're probably leaving out about 50 other injured players. This was just nuts. There's 12, 12 guys went down for the Chargers. One thing we didn't say, Ryan Fitzpatrick's injury could be a multi-week injury. I was going to get to him.
