of the Arizona Cardinals, and you're listening to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast. To the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Welcome to the show. We've got a good one today, guys. Oh, yeah. Who doesn't love a mock? A mock? We love to mock. In fact, I was with my father earlier today having lunch,

2:56 ↗

Believe it or not, out front of the studio, the trunk of your car kept opening up. I heard about this. I saw your father. Wait, wait, wait. Yeah, the trunk of Jason's car. It wasn't just sitting open. It continued to open. No, we were sitting in the car ready to leave for lunch. I was going to have a nice lunch with my dad. And Jason's car's trunk just opens. Pops open. And, of course, I go, I said, well, Jason probably sat on his remote. And he said, you guys give Jason a hard time.

3:25 ↗

And I said, yeah. Yeah, we do. His trunk just opened and he's nowhere near here. Well, here's the best part. No one does he know the trunk is open? No, and then they went to lunch. Well, I think I said the odds of that happening increased because it was Jason. Like that the car trunk would just randomly open. And then I came back from lunch and guess what? The trunk was open. After you had closed it, right? After I had got out and closed it.

3:48 ↗

Yeah. The keys were in my pocket. And he wanted to, like, steal stuff out of the back and make a big deal. And I was like, well, you know, he's Jason. We'll give him a break. That's the first nice thing you've ever said. I love you too, Andy. I will check your trunk immediately. Yeah, for sure. But welcome to the show, Andy, Mike, and Jason back again. We've got a standard mock draft on the show today. Always a fun episode. We're going to be using fantasydraftwizard.com.

4:12 ↗

making the decisions as a unit, as a group, as the fantasy footballers, and walking you through some of our thought process. Occasionally dangerous? Yeah. Dangerous picks or dangerous thought process? Both. No, I was picking together as a unit. Oh, that's scary. Yeah, that's majority rules at that point when we disagree in Jason wants Latavius with the first round pick.

4:33 ↗

What else do we got going on, though? We got the podcast awards that just finished voting. Yeah, the voting is done. So a big thank you to everybody. Yes, a huge, huge, huge monster thank you to all the Foot Clan for getting out there and voting daily. We know that the struggle is real of the daily vote. We get it. Oh, I hate asking for it. But I love to asking our foot clan for it because we knew they'd deliver. And we got to deliver. We got to get it done. We will not know of our...

5:01 ↗

Impending victory. We won't know. I mean, hopefully we get a victory here. The 22nd, June 22nd, it is a Wednesday. That is the tentative date for a live stream of the awards. So you can watch with us. Yeah. And you can celebrate with us. Find out if you did enough. Yeah. You can either celebrate with us or know that I'm dead in the street in a gutter somewhere. You know, Mike is going to take it hard. So, uh...

5:28 ↗

You can comfort him on Twitter at FFHitman. You can follow the show at the FFBallers on Twitter, Jason FFL. I am at Andy Holloway. We're also on YouTube, the Fantasy Sports Network, as well as Facebook. And definitely check out Jointhefoot.com. We just got done giving away our first monthly giveaway over there, gave away a David Johnson jersey, gave away James Winston McFarland and a bunch of stickers and things like that. So I've got a good quick question for you guys. You don't know what it is.

5:55 ↗

And that makes it all the better. I don't. Because it is not in our notes. Nope. I'm going to make you pick right here on the spot. These are guys that you have really close in your rankings. Two running backs. And I'm going to make you. This is like a test your mic. Basically, this is a pre-mock test. You're on the clock. These two guys are sitting there. You've got to draft one of them. And their names are Dionne Lewis and Jeremy Langford. And now you've got to make a pick. Scoring format.

6:18 ↗

uh the scoring format is i'm just kidding it doesn't matter it's dion lewis half point dion lewis well you better change your rankings buddy i will you got them back to back 26 27 but you do have lankford ahead right now yep i would go dion lewis right there yeah i think i would go jeremy langford he's he's the clear-cut starter

6:38 ↗

And you'll need to change your rankings as well. Because you have them back to back. Well, we're back to back. We're back to back. Oh, yeah. And you've got them in half. That's in half point. And I actually, I take Dionne Lewis as well. I've got him 25 as of today. That's really, wait, we all have them that close. I have Lewis 20, length for 25. Oh, okay, okay. Yeah, Mike, you have 26, 27 back to back. And then Jason, you're 17. Yeah, Lewis has got to get a bump. But for us, as a group, Lewis is the consensus.

7:07 ↗

21 and Langford is the consensus 22. So all of the closeness of those rankings, it came out to exactly what we really believe. And so I guess that means trust the consensus rankings. Yep, I guess so. So Dionne Lewis, I'm having more and more confidence in him coming back. It's interesting, because I'll bring this point up as well. Thomas Rawls. Thomas Rawls is somebody who we loved the numbers last year. We loved what he did. But...

7:37 ↗

They drafted a bunch of running backs. And you're not hearing a lot. Dionne Lewis, they paid. They didn't draft a bunch of running backs. It's starting to feel like maybe Dionne Lewis is looking a lot safer from an injury perspective than Thomas Rawls is. I just, if you're Seattle and you want to put confidence out there in Thomas Rawls, I think you need to work a little harder. They're not doing it. And you know what this is starting to look like? This is starting to look like.

8:07 ↗

the face of regret of a man who had to decide between trying to keep Thomas Rawls or Dionne Lewis. You're right. And you made the choice of Thomas Rawls. I did. I chose the upside of a Seattle offense and the running game and what Rawls did. And a guy who's, I guess they're both injured, so I take them back. I could have chose Jonathan Stewart.

8:28 ↗

So if you're picking today, do you keep Stewart or Rawls? If I'm picking today, I pick Thomas Rawls, and I pick Thomas Rawls over both of those guys. Okay. So you're making me feel better. I'm trying to think of a good food comparison because that's what we do. He's just, he's bland. Because you know that it's safe and it's steady, which is great. You need those kind of guys on your team. He's the cabbage? You know the cabbage in the back field? The cabbage. I love cabbage. I mean, it has its purposes. Right. But it's just, it will never. It'll get you from A to B.

8:58 ↗

And it can, if you have a great team, or if you have a great sandwich, cabbage can take that thing over the top. Right. It's got the crunch. Right. But by itself, cabbage is never going to get it done. And when you're scanning your draft board and you see cabbage, you don't generally run to it. Yeah. So I like it. I like that'll word cabbage.

9:17 ↗

Yeah, Jonathan Stewart. Jason is totally... I'm really confused over here, mostly because I think Cabbage is disgusting, and I like Jonathan Stewart, so it just doesn't apply to me. I just think that his ceiling is capped, where week to week, you're not going to get this, you can't get a monstrosity of a game from Jonathan Stewart like you could from Rawls or Lewis. Since we brought Jonathan Stewart up, it is worth noting that he is not fully healthy yet from the Super Bowl.

9:43 ↗

He hurt his foot in the Super Bowl. Well, re-injured. Yes. Yeah. And so it's worth monitoring for a guy who's made of glass. I was going to say, it's really worth monitoring for a guy who is always worth monitoring.

9:53 ↗

Yeah, pretty much. So, hey, before we get into, now we're going to do a, let's go through what we're going to do here, a standard mock draft, 12 team league, one quarterback, two running back, two starting wide receivers, one tight-in, and one flex. One wide receiver running back flex. One wide receiver. Well, yeah, I mean, that's the majority of them. But yes, we are stipulating that in this mock draft. We're going to draft from the ninth position. So a little bit later, probably a spot where we're going to have to make some tough decisions. Did I catch a nineer in there? Or are you calling from a Milwaukee-Tucky.

10:23 ↗

You're bringing me back, Mike. You're bringing me back. I watched that movie over and over again for like years for some reason. Yeah, that's in the... For some reason? That's in the upper... Let me give you the reason. It's fantastic. That's a good reason. Yeah. Tommy Boy is tops. It is top. It's near the tops. All right. Speaking of tops, look, we talked about football hall a while ago. And I'm telling you right now, football hall...

10:52 ↗

is better than it was the last time we talked about it. Because now they are actually including exclusive items inside the football hall subscription box. There are things in there. And when I say exclusive, I mean, you can't get it anywhere else except for if you're subscribed to the box. Last month, we got an Odell Beckham Jr., the catch pillow inside of there. And we got this Welcome Home Rams, Todd Gurley, Bobblehead, which if you're watching the show on YouTube, you can actually see Jason imitating the bobblehead.

11:22 ↗

uh pretty much and this is like mike said in the intro this is seventy five dollars worth of gear for twenty nine dollars every single month you're talking bobbleheads sports figurines games puzzles trading cards t-shirts exclusive items like i said and you get to choose your team and so every single month not only do you get a box jam packed with awesome stuff that our listeners have loved but you now you get to pick your own team and you get some of your own gear as well so here's how you get in on it go to football hall dot com use our promo code

11:52 ↗

and you will save money on that first subscription box. You don't want to miss it. We love these guys. Footballhall.com. The fantasy footballers mock draft. It's always fun to be able to do like live research on the air. Because every mock draft you do, we encourage our listeners to mock draft. Everyone you do, you learn something. You learn where guys are going.

12:21 ↗

Fantasydraftwizard.com. That's the place we always recommend. It's very, very easy to do drafts there. You can do them multiple times a day. It's free to do up to three a day. So do them all the time. And then if you've got a Dynasty or Keeper League or something like that, you can actually upgrade to where you can put in your actual teams. It's an invaluable tool for the draft season. Absolutely. So we're going to get started here. Like I said, 12-team standard draft drafting from the nine position.
