Jason Moore and Mike Wright. Hey, what's going on? Bacarena. Got you, bro. Got you back. You got them good. What's going on out there? The fantasy footballers back again. Great show playing for you. I promise, because it is a mock draft, and mock draft shows are spectacular. Not only are mock drafts spectacular, but the first one of the year is always super important. And I know what you're thinking if you're, you know, a hardcore listener.

This isn't your first one of the year. You did one way before the draft. And I say, I say, well, that was fun. But this one is the first real one where you know what free agents have moved and what rookies have been signed. I don't want to throw, you know, this might be the biggest show we've ever done. And the hardcorest would know, Jason, that we did a dynasty startup draft. It was not a redraft. Do you remember that, Jason? I was there. But, apparently not. We'll do a half point.

We'll do a half point per reception mock draft on Sleeper. We'll draft in the 10th spot. That's what's been decided by Brooks for some reason. I don't know why. I like it, Brooks. He doesn't want us to have an easy draft or we just get one of the great running backs. And that's fair because a lot of people, if you get the 10 or 11 or 12, that's not where I want to be. It may not be easy, Jason, but it will be great. We will have a great team.

by the end of this. And you'll get a lay of the land as the listener out there of where guys are going, where some of the rookies are falling, the average draft position numbers are up to date, and we're right in the throngs of it. I mean, you heard our good friend David Attenborough open the show. Great friend. We have been in the stat bubble. Maybe that's not even the right dungeon? The stat dungeon? Jason, where have you been lately? The staff dungeon?

I've been in the stat ephereal plane. Jason never, for us, for Mike and I, it's a little bit different of a process when we build out our player by player, stat line by stat line, team by team, early projections. These are the baseline of where we go. And these are the full rankings you get inside the ultimate draft kit with all of their, you know, every quarterback has exact stats.

Every team, every player, this is the beginning. Yeah, even the guys that don't show up in the ultimate draft kit necessarily, they're not people you would draft. But though they have an effect on the quarterback on the team, on, you know, the target shares and all of that. We stat them all the way, all the way down to the last player. And you guys are both, you guys are both way ahead of me. We both completed ours yesterday. Now, Jason, this is just life.

Jason is methodical. That's the word I'm going to use. Thank you. He is methodical. Yes, that is the word we will use. And it takes him a little bit longer. Dive deep. He dives deep. And it pays off in spades. We all got our different way that we do things, but we all put those together. You get the consensus rankings. You get an idea of what's what. You get some really interesting things that come out of these rankings right away. I threw some of mine up on Twitter.

Got some very interesting, harsh feedback. I asked for it. You did have some hot takes already. There were several. One of the big ones, I heard two things the most, that I was statting Alshan Jeffrey too low. Probably not. I think I had him at 33. Sounds about right. And then that I didn't have David Montgomery high enough in Chicago, which I know I will be of that side. Now, we are, we're in May.

It's May 8th. It's a good month. Yeah. Timberlake loves this month. I got you. But we're in May, and these things change. We recommend to our listeners all the time. You've got to be water. If David Montgomery lights up camp, Mike Davis pulls his hamstring, Therick Cohen gets hurt, whatever. They're going to change. The rankings change all off season. That's the whole point, right? The whole point is we've got them in the ultimate draft, getting on the website, and we're modifying them every day.

But right now, David Montgomery, not as high as some people expected. Not as high as he'll be in my rankings, because I'm sure I am much more on the David Montgomery side. People are sending out trade offers for rookies already. Like in our leagues where we've done rookie drafts, I got an offer from Miles Sanders yesterday. Oh, do tell. I said no to it. What was the offer? I got to go look it up again. Sorry. I thought you would know off the top of your head like a real fantasy football player. I didn't consider it enough. Here it is. Here it is.

It was a 20-20-first round pick. Okay. And Anthony Miller. Oh, that's not bad. It's a great offer. That's not bad. It's a great offer. If I needed wide receivers, I would have taken it. I was going to say, if I'm horribly desperate for running backs. If I had a running back depth, I would have done that. All right. So we'll get into the mock draft here momentarily. All right, here's your quick question of the day before the mock draft, guys. Now that you've been in the weeds with the stat lines, who's the toughest team as of right now to stat out and predict for 2019? When you were going through all the teams, Mike, is there a team you kept skipping because you're like, man, I don't want to...

I don't have to think about it. I'll let you guys go first because I just want to highlight it's, it wasn't the entire team. There just was a chunk of it that is a, is an enigma to me. So for me, there's a team I have not yet statted. I have, you know, I keep looking at which teams. So they would not be the answer to this question. No, no, they are the answer to this question. He keeps avoiding them. Yes, the reason I have not statted them is I'm like, what? There's no, it just feels a hundred percent pointless to stand out the Washington Redskins to me. Because.

I'm guessing at who their quarterback is. I'm guessing at who their running back is. Fair? I have no idea who, you know, who are their wide receivers? Is it Doxon and Richardson and Trey Quinn? Jay Gruden. Is Darius guys healthy as Andrew Peterson? Jay Gruden expects big things from Josh Doxon this year, Jason. Just this year. That's why they declined its fifth year option. Right. You always expect huge things from those players. You're like, not on my team. Nothing lights of fire under a dude's butt like no contract. We told Brooks. We said we're not.

going to keep you next year. But we expect big things this year. He's going to work so much harder now. This year is, Brooks, you're, you've been putting in the extra man hours. Yeah. So they're the, thank you. Just coming in with that fire. You can tell the effort level is way up there. But yeah, they're the one team this season at this point that it does feel like I have to do it because I've got to make sure I know where they're going to land.

But everything, my confidence level will be zero because everything I know could be wrong. I need more information. Let me ask you this. When making the decision on which quarterback to stat, I went with Dwayne Haskins. Mike, who did you stat out? Haskins? All right. I will most likely do a 50-50 split. I think case will start and Haskins will finish the year. All right. For me, I even tweeted about the wide receiver core in New England, it's an eye roll situation. It's rough. You know Julian Edelman will be great.

But you've got a rookie coming in and Akiel Harry. They signed Bruce Ellington. They sign Maurice Harris. I like both those guys in general. And they both go to New England. You have Philip Dorset, whose contract is renewed. You've been on the team long enough now where maybe he hits a little more. He'll be active. They brought in to Marius Thomas coming off the Achilles injury. Right. Who I don't think will make the team, and I chose not to stat as of now, who you did choose to stat. I statted, but he has very little. Have I mentioned Josh Gordon yet? Because Josh Gordon may still be.

activated and realign all of the statelines for those players. So I chose to go with Edelman, Harry, Ellington, Dorset, and Harris for now. But who knows? Yeah. Some teams seem much more stable. If you look at a team like the Los Angeles Chargers, for example, I look at their team and I go, wow, I know who's starting at every position. Right. I don't have any fear or problem statting that team out. But like you said, there are teams that are just enigmas.

And the pair I wanted to highlight because I just don't know what to do with him. And when I saw his final ranking, all three of us were like, holy crap, that's really low. And that's Russell Wilson and Tyler Lockett because they broke.

efficiency metrics. They just, they took anything you know about statistical analysis. They watered it up. They wiped their rear ends with it and they threw it in the garbage. They didn't just start away. They used it as a wipe. Absolutely. And then it didn't flush it. No, no, no. I recommend it. Well, you can't flush the garbage. But they threw it in the garbage. Whatever you use for a wipe needs to be flushed, not put in the garbage, Ken. That's just a rule of life. You just threw it in the trash. I told you they were being rude.

Okay. And that's, look, Tyler Lockett's, here's his career. This is, this is what he averages. Okay. His first three years in the league, 68 targets, 65 yards, three touchdowns. Now, six was his high. That's, that's an average. Then last year, did we see a big spike in usage? No, we saw 70 targets.

from 68 on average to 70, except he gained 360 plus yards and jumped to 10 touchdowns. His catch rate jumped from a average of 66% to 81. His yards per target went from 9.6 to 13.8. How do you possibly deal with this person? Steroids. No, no, no. I'm not blaming, like...

It happened. I don't think he was, he wasn't juicing. It wasn't juicing. It just everything was working. And that bleeds over to Russell Wilson is the exact same thing where he had 130 fewer attempts. And yet he went up a passing touchdown. His career touchdown percentage before last year was 5.7. So every 5.7 attempts, which is fantastic. And it went all the way to 8.8.2 last year.

What do you possibly do with a team that had success? Jason, you tweeted out, like, I have no idea how Seattle did what they did as a team. In today's NFL, if you've got Russell Wilson, and you're telling me that he has his lowest rushing attempts of his entire career, his third lowest passing attempts by a pretty wide margin, you know, he's getting back to his rookie and sophomore season.

I would assume that this season was not a success, but it was a huge success, and I will say this. A shout out. Which means there's nothing for them to fix. A shout out to the 12s out there, because if you go on Twitter and say something about, like, how did this happen? How did Seattle succeed? Wow, did I get. Did they just admit it was magic? No, they didn't admit it was magic. They gave me every reason, and it's so obvious, but their passion.
