But if you think I statted me, Cole, like Tyree Kill, you're a lunatic. No, I'm talking about Tyree Kill's rookie season where he was awesome, way above expectations. With Mahomes? Got 83 targets with Andy Reid and with a really still good offense. Andy Reid throws a great deep ball. I'm just saying he had 83 targets. He got six touchdowns. He had a really good stat line because he was faster than all the NFL players. We've seen Tyree Kill dominate. I can't give, even with Pat Mahomes, I can't give me, Cole Hardman.

41:29 ↗

more than Tyrie Kill's rookie season. I see it more as basically what Tyree Kill did in his rookie season. That's just not giving enough credit to Patrick Mahomes. To say Tyreek Hill is a really good player, came in with Alex Smith, and now how do you distribute, how many touchdowns do you give Patrick Mahomes? 39. Okay, where do they go? They went to, nine of them went to Sammy Watkins. Ten of them went to...

41:54 ↗

You got to account for 20 touchdowns with the rest of that team. That's the hard part about it. I wasn't ridiculous with me, Cole. 60 catches. Seven touchdowns. You think you can't catch seven? That's ahead of Chris Godwin? Yeah. Wow. Here's the thing. I guess this is more of a Chris Godwin. Yeah, this is a Chris Godwin. Miko Hardman, wide receiver out of Georgia, fastest player at the combine, drafted by the team that employs the fastest player in the game with the MVP of football. I don't think it's, look, you don't have to put MECO up there.

42:25 ↗

That's fine. That's going to be one of our big shots in the offseason. But you, the opportunity, like Mike said, that's the situation. Godwin, never going to be the number one on his team, ever. And he has James Winston, not Patrick Mahomes. All right, Godwin's gone, though. We can't pick him. Jason, I'm going to toss the pick to you. Wide receivers on the board, it's an easy, obvious pick for me because Mike Williams is sitting there and I adore Mike Williams. So very much this year, I've got Mike Williams.

42:54 ↗

ranked very high. Where do you see Mike Williams, Tyler Boyd, Tyler Lockett, Sammy Watkins. You can go get a piece and pack of my homes right there. So this is, you're giving me the pick, right? Yes, sir. Then I'm going to stay true to my rankings and my belief. We just talked about Kansas City. I'm taking Sammy Watkins. There is no doubt to me that Sammy Watkins is the best wide receiver with the best opportunity on the board right now. I just was on another podcast where I argued that this year.

43:22 ↗

Sammy Watkins will be a top 15 wide receiver. So if you're getting that, you know, on the 5-6 turn, I think that's great value. That's just barely ahead of where he's usually going anyways. I've got him down for over 1,000 yards, nine touchdowns. He is going to be the number one wide receiver for Pat Mahomes. So if we believe Pat Mahomes has changed the NFL and his truly generational talent, and we do, then I want Watkins.

43:48 ↗

Okay. Yeah, I think that's fair. I think it's fair to try to get a piece of that Kansas City offense for all the same reasons that I just brought up Michael Hardman. I didn't stat him as bullish as you did. I did give them a good season. I look at their offense now, much more the way I look at how Carson Wins and Philadelphia was when he had his big year, which was there wasn't necessarily, it wasn't just. Al-Shan, okay, he's your number one, but is he your number one? Is Ertz your number one? Right.

44:15 ↗

So where it's more distribution, but I don't blame it. Blame me. I do have Sammy Watkins ahead of Chris Godwin. So I would have taken Sammy. I do too. Over over him as well. Did that hurt, though, to say out loud? No, no. Look, I like Chris Godwin, but I am tempered in the sense that I know he can't be the number one on his team without an injury. And he's going to be one of those really, really, really solid wide receiver twos. All right. Some highlights from the rest of the sixth round. We took Watkins.

44:45 ↗

Boyd and Lockett, the only other two wide receivers to go in this round. James White dropped all the way to 6-11. A couple more quarterbacks off the board. Is there any part of you that looks at Sammy Watkins there and says, man, I wish I could replace that with Deshaun Watson? No. Yeah, me neither. There's no part. Jared Cook, at the end of the sixth round. Mike Williams, went at 704. Holy moly. Hunter Henry, after him, Latavius Murray, Drew Brees, Cream Hunt, off the board at 708. And Russell, Wilson.

45:16 ↗

We're a fun. Go Hawks. Go Hawks. All right, it's 710. 7.10. We're on the clock. We got our two picks here at the 10th pick of the 7th round and then the third pick of the 8th round. Looking at our team, very balanced. We've literally gone running back wide receiver, running back wide receiver, running back wide receiver. If you're looking in the direction of tight ends, there's nobody that stands out as, hey, I've got to go get that guy. However.

45:45 ↗

However, I wanted to bring this up at the tight-end position. There's nobody that we've got to go get because we love them. But there's also very few people left in a certain tier that we like at all. Because I don't want to end up with Austin Hooper or a rookie and T.J. Hoggson or Kyle Rudolph for garbage. There's one, maybe two guys that stand out right now. David and Joku and Vance McDonald. Are those the two or is there? They were not my two. Vance McDonald and Trey Burton were my two.

46:10 ↗

We just had this conversation about Anjoku, so we're not on the same page with him. But Vance McDonnell, we agree. Mike, is there a world where you want to just grab that tier of tight end? Because Vance, we've talked about the opportunity. No. Pace last year? It's, I wouldn't. I wouldn't grab a tight end. There's too much value still available. Dante Pettis. I'm looking at the rest of the draft board. We are one of three teams by, or are we one of four?

46:38 ↗

I'm trying to figure out how many teams don't have a tight-in. I think it might be four teams. So, yeah, I guess you're at that point where you could be dancing with the devil a little bit too long. I'll say this. I'll say this. Because there's two tight-ins we're willing to take. There's only one team of the two between us on the turn that needs a tight-in. So if we're going to take a tight-in at this turn, we shouldn't do it this pick. We should do it our next pick. Hope that Vance McDonald doesn't go. But if he goes, then we can take Trey Burtner and Joe. I'd like to take Dante Pettis. I would not. All right.

47:07 ↗

I have no problem. Because I have a player who I would really like to take. Who is it? And especially because we are going in the every other strategy. Cole Beasley. Here we kind of here. The Beasles. It's a little bit too early. Just like two rounds. So you're in the running back territory. I'm in the running. I don't think he's actually going to fall to the seventh round. No, but we got to take him. But Jason and I are both firmly entrenched on the David Montgomery train. 100%. Our seats are booked. I think he is going to be the starter. There's.

47:34 ↗

There's no way. And that's not taking away from Cohen. Cohen's going to come in and do his thing. But I think that Montgomery, I think there's enough volume in the Bears offense that Montgomery can get into that 40 reception range, which you give him the 200 plus carries, you give him 40 receptions. You're very happy with that value. Mike Davis is a backup. Mike Davis is not a guy that's going to touch the ball a hundred times barring injury. They traded too much capital.

48:02 ↗

to get David Montgomery. They wanted a guy who had a three-down skill set because Matt Nagy, who came from the Kareem Hunt, Kansas City area where they want to not tip their hand. They want to have a running back out there all the time that they can use them, both the passing and the running game. We saw that at the beginning of last year with Jordan Howard. They tried everything they could.

48:21 ↗

To turn him into a pass catcher. Man, those were great games. We had a couple. When you had Jordan Howard in those week three, like, oh, I've got a top. I'm running back. And then it was like, man, he's not good enough. I'm not this, you know, Mike Davis truther. But you got to look last year. I mean, he was the third highest receiver on the Seahawks. Yes. Mike Davis had. I was the seventh highest receiver. Yes. 4.6 a carry last year. Caught 29 passes. I don't think they paid lip service and dollars to Mike Davis.

48:50 ↗

to not utilize him. And I don't think David Montgomery will be, look, he'll be heavily involved. But you do have other pieces there. And I don't think he's going to be the day one snap one starter. I really don't. Two-thirds vote. Yeah. Yeah, I already took him. Oh, all right. David Montgomery, I took him because you guys wanted him. And then I took Vance McDonald with the next pick. The starter could be because I wanted him. Could be Cohen. That's what I think it is. If you want to argue it's Cohen, fine. But Tari Cohen's not going to get more than.

49:17 ↗

90 to 100 carries. They're not going to overwork him like that. And then if it, then the argument becomes, okay, is it Montgomery taking Jordan Howard's carries or is it Mike Davis? And I'm going to give the vast majority to David Montgomery. I think what it comes down to for fantasy owners from a production standpoint on your team is we all know that the carry, I mean, the carries are going to get a little share, right? Do you think that he's going to put up Jordan Howard type of carry numbers? Yes, I do. Close. I do. I think he'll be near it.

49:47 ↗

All right. Well, we took them. We took them because you made me. I'll tell you. I love if in this part of the draft, you can get David Montgomery and Vance McDonald's. I mean, it just really shores up the team to be able to grab Vance McDonald with our second pick. From meh.

50:03 ↗

Gummery to fan favorite. That's why NFL draft changes everything. Running backs are opportunity over talent. Did you call him David Opportunity? I call them David Mopportunity. No, no, no. That's worse. That's fantastic. That stick and David Mopportunity. That's the worst. Oh, I love it even more now. Your hatred fuels me. David Mopportunity. It's not smart. It doesn't rhyme.

50:29 ↗

Fantastic. Brooks, can I get some kind of ruling here? I need a friend. I heard chuckles. Oh, I got a thumbs up back there. What do we got? I mean, I'm chuckling. Yeah. Yeah. It's going to stick, Mandy. Sorry. Yeah, I know. All right. That one might win the footy. That won't even be close. Stupid David Montgomery. I almost called him opportunity to. If you don't like it.

50:54 ↗

Then at the end, you're like, yeah, he's got mop in his name. He's just clean. He's a janitor. I think he's going to be under. I love you, janitors. Under 200 carries on the year. I've got him at 200. I will take the over. If you want to bet that 200 carries? I will bet that he's outside the top 24. Oh, 200 carries. 200 plus carries versus under 200 carries. No. Not in May. That's fine. I just brought up David Montgomery at the beginning of the show saying things are going to change. I'm not going to.

51:21 ↗

Make my bet in May about him. I don't know. A 24 guy? I'm willing to bet that. I don't know who David Montgomery is. Right. But David Mopportunity is going to, he's going to get a lot of work. The studio audience is enjoying this. Yes. David and Joku, Carson, Winsh, Rashad, Penny Phillip Rivers next. Oh, crap. It's going to stick. All right, Vance McDonald, I took him because I wanted him. We took him.

51:49 ↗

Yes. I'm fine. Pet. Want to do the Van Stance and the 8th? I mean, I would have made the argument for Pettus, but Mike didn't want Pettis. Pettis, McCoy, Davis, right after him, Gough and Newton off the board. Geronimo Allison, a ninth round pick. Cortland Sutton a ninth round pick. That could be good value. Now you start to see these names where people are like, man, I don't know if I want to take them, but I can see these guys having a great opportunity. I don't know about this Emmanuel Sanders going ahead of Cortland Sutton thing. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

52:18 ↗

Carlos Hyde could be a value pick at 812. So we're on the clock. A couple picks left. Took Montgomery and Vance McDonald's. We have our tight end. I think we need to look at towards the wide receiver position myself. D.K. Metcalf could be a steal here. An opportunity to grab a rookie with Metcalf. Would you have Larry Fitzgerald on the board? You have to kill Harry on the board. Anthony Miller. So let's talk just philosophically.

52:47 ↗

philosophically real quick between the potential of D.K. Metcalfe and Nekeel Harry because they're rookies and they're highly drafted. It's like, oh, man, they're going to be great. But we know one of the things that we wanted to remember from last year was that rookie wide receivers historically take a long time. We were all skewed by 2014. That, you know, gave us a little bit too much. But for the most part, they don't get off to a strong start and they're not great.

53:13 ↗

in year one for fantasy versus a James Washington, a guy who wasn't great last year, but was a highly drafted second round rookie last year for the Steelers. They lost Antonio Brown. Like philosophically, I feel like I would rather put my chips. I know it's not as fun as sexy as talked about as the rookies right now, but I'd rather take a shot at the year two wide receiver with the opportunity than the... We have injury pro wide receivers. That's what we have.

53:41 ↗

You made me draft Sammy Watkins. We have an injury prone team, period. Sammy Watkins and Julian Edelman didn't play full seasons. Beckham Jr. coming off of injury in his past. So I like it. So you're saying you want the most reliable? I'm saying you might want to have somebody that you can go start. And Larry Fitzgerald did not have a unproductive year with the worst of circumstances. If you believe in Kyler Murray at all, improving that passing game, more plays on office with Cliff Kingsbury.

54:10 ↗

You know Larry's going to be a potential red zone threat. I know he's my highest fantasy scoring wide receiver for the Cardinals. I have him behind Christian Kirk, but just barely in fantasy points behind Christian Kirk. And Kirk's gone. So you make a solid point. I don't want to take James Washington over Larry Fitzgerald myself with the amount of injury risk we have on our team. So the name. But that adds to your point. You said Metcalf.
