that makes San Francisco a destination for any of these guys potentially if he leaves. Richard Matthews, very productive in his time, but going to be forced out the door with Devante Parker. So Richard Matthews is a free agent, Ruben Randall. We just talked about him. And Mike, you can give us your Ruben Randall. And then you got James Jones, Brian Quick, Mohamedson, Percy Harvin, Andre Holmes, a couple of the Seattle guys in Germain Curse and Ricardo Lockett. And then Nate Washington.

So what do we think about, what are the bigger names on there that you're actually excited for from a fantasy perspective or are there no guys like that? There's not, I mean, besides Ruben Randall for me, which, yes, Ruben Randall can be extremely frustrating at times. But maybe this change of scenery, getting him out of the New York market is what he needs to really succeed and to thrive. But other than that, I mean,

André Holmes is somewhat interesting to me. He's flashed a couple times in the past, but his really disappeared. I think one of the biggest names from a fantasy perspective is Rashad Matthews, and not because of where he lands, but for him getting out of the way of Devante Parker. You know, I want Devante Parker to take that step forward and be what he really can be, which is an excellent wide receiver one in the NFL. But if Rashad Matthews comes back, that water's just too muddy. The targets aren't there.

I want to see Rashad Matthews leave just so that there is more targets to go around Devante Parker's way. If we're talking to guys leaving, then to me it's Curse. Germain Curse up in Seattle, get out of the way for the Tyler Lockett experience because it's going to be great. Yeah, and there are some interesting teams that kind of have wide receiver needs out there. I mean, I think San Diego is a place.

They need to bring another wide receiver in there. They have some free agents in the past catching area. And, you know, I think they're a place that a Marvin Jones could land and do really well in or some of these other names. Baltimore could sign a wide receiver. Baltimore really needs a wide receiver. San Francisco, we said it.

There's some other teams that are interesting. You mentioned the Giants. They're going to lose Ruben Randall most likely, or they could bring them back, and then they'd be out of the category there. But it'll be interesting to see where some of these guys land, and we'll talk about them more as the offseason progresses. Anybody else do you want to mention before we kind of wrapped us up with the tight-in position? No, I think that's the big ones. No, I think that Dwayne Bow might become available.

He might get cut. Well, you know who will champion him, Mike. Yeah. Yeah. That didn't work out very well. No, it did not. Tight ends. All right. Very aggressive tight end call there. Well, you know if NFL.com is up, a video's going to be playing on your screen. There's just no way about it. A few tabs deep. But we've got tight ends. Buried in my tabs. Buried in my tabs. Speaking of San Diego, I think that's where.

Some of the biggest tight-in question marks are, and they need pass catchers. You've got Antonio Gates, old man Gates, coming into a 64th year of life. He's 35 years old. He's actually been on the charges for 60 of those 65 years. It's really impressive. Ladaria's going to be out the door. You think? Yes. I think not. Okay.

So that's the situation. 35-year-old Antonio Gates, 26-year-old Laderius Green, both free agents. Indications look like Gates will be back for another season. And Lidarius Green has a humongous body and is athletic and can play the position. Yeah, that sounds pretty good to me. You're not ready for another one of those tight-in contracts to drop the Charles Clay type of deals.

Uh, yeah, that's, I guess, a good point. That would be my concern. Laderius Green is my most interesting tight end free agent where, uh, if you're San Diego, though, I mean, Antonio Gates does not have a future. He does not have infinite time left. I mean, he's got maybe a couple. You could draft a guy. Let Laderius go. Don't overpay for him. Use Gates this year and draft a couple of guys. It would depend on how much, but Lidarius Green, uh, I think is the,

He is the best available tied end here. And there's a couple teams that have a situation where like the Colts, both Dwayne Allen and Kobe Fleener, are on this list. Ladarius Green, up in that blue. Great signing there. Ladarius Green can block as well. I think, Andy, you were saying the Packers have been linked a little bit to Ladarius Green. We forget that Aaron Rogers used to use the tight end quite a bit back when he had a

Good past catching. Jermichael Finley? Jermichael Finley was a great fantasy option. And Jermichael Finley, Laderius Green reminds me a little bit of Jermichael Finley. Michael Finley was annoying. You're not wrong. He was good sometimes, but he was annoying because he wanted him to be great. He was always on the precipice of a breakout. So they got like $27 million in Capspace in San Diego. The logical smart thing for a 4-12 team to do would be to sign green and let Gates go and rebuild. Yeah.

You really should. So we'll have to see if he can become, if he stays there, he could be a big weapon. I don't think there's a better situation than him staying there and being their tight end because then you've got the rapport with Rivers. Do you think that Gates would even play? If San Diego says, we're going to move on, Antonio, do you think Gates retires? No. Oh, yes, yes, absolutely. Yeah, he's done. He would retire. I mean, he's certainly not the same player, but he's still valuable. He still show that he could do.

things on the field, but from a fantasy perspective, he's outside of our upper echelon by far. Right. So the Colts guys I was talking about, Dwayne Allen, Kobe Fleener, the rumors for the Kobe Fleener will be back. But there's, I can't imagine a situation where they're going to pay both of these guys, and they got a pick, and it would seem right now that they're going to pick Kobe Fleener. There will be a market for Dwayne Allen, but Kobe Fleener.

If he comes back and he's kind of the only tight end of note, he becomes a very interesting tight end one prospect moving on until next year. Yeah, I like him more if Dwayne Allen's gone, for sure. Other than that, I don't think that there's any other, I mean, you got Vernon Davis. He's too old to really make a splash or run. You've got Ben Watson, who although is older, had a great year.

I hope he resigns with the Saints just because of the rapport that he has there. But he's 35, not getting any younger, not going to command any contract from anyone. Mercedes-Lewis, I'm just not excited about any of these tight-ins. I don't think any of them are going to be fantasy-relevant next year. I don't think them leaving makes anyone else fantasy-relevant. The only possibility is maybe if Ben Watson leaves.

I think that hurts Drew Brees a little bit if they don't replace him. I don't think Josh Hill can replace Ben Watson. No. They're a good destination for one of these other free agent tight ends. Yeah, I guess if Ben Watson were to leave and they were to bring someone else in, the problem is the Saints are very, they're one of those top five worst cap situation teams. So they're not going to go make a splash and get hilarious green. Yeah, they could be in the situation of drafting a guy and then we're wondering. The new Zach Miller.

up in Chicago, who kind of exploded onto the scene, had a couple good games there. The word is he wants five mil, five large. Got to do it now. There's no better time than now. So he may be pricing himself out of the NFL. He might settle in that case. It'll be interesting in Chicago. Does the black unicorn, Martellus Bennett, does he come back then if Zach Miller prices himself out?

I feel like the ship has sailed on him. We had a very strong physical reaction from Jason. I'm realizing a free agent who's not a free agent yet that I think is going to be one of the bigger splashier guys. I have no doubt we will disagree on this guy as well. But that's RG3. Is worth a mention. I think absolutely worth a mention. I believe that if he goes to a different destination, he can be a valuable fantasy quarterback for a couple weeks.

What we saw from the Washington Redskins with my own eyeballs, I don't know how to describe it. I don't know how to justify it. Oh, I can't playoff team when they started a different quarterback. How to justify it. But when you watch in that preseason, the offensive line, when RG3 was behind them, they just let.

They were complete matadors. I've never seen anything like it in my life watching the preseason. He gets the ball and three guys are tackling him in a second. I can see why you like his potential. No, I'm telling you. Kirk Cousins comes in and all of a sudden they protect him. I'm not talking about he's making better reads. I'm literally saying time from ball snap to defenders in the face. It was like nothing I've ever seen. You are clearly suggesting that the fix is in.

And we saw a pretty good game. We just saw the equation that didn't work for the Cardinals, didn't work for Carolina, which was turning the ball over. You can't do that and win. But they have four of them, right? In my prediction, I did not foresee that many turnovers happening. That Mike Tolbert fumble? Ugh.
