The report is that two police officers undercover police officers were sent. No, off duty, not undercover. Oh, that's right, yes. Off duty. I just made it like way heightened there. Yeah. Two off duty police officers were sent to the hospital skull fracture and stitches and broken ribs. Multiple NFL players are said to be involved. I am not a professional lawyer. Really? He's a semi-pro lawyer. I'm pretty good with bird law.

AAA. So this is a question for the foot clamp. Perhaps someone knows, and maybe it's state by state. But I would believe that an assault on an off-duty cop is equally bad to an assault on an active police officer. I don't know if they're going to have a line differential for that. So if LaShawn McCoy, in fact...

assaulted a was part of the assault, Sean McCoy is in big trouble, big trouble. I personally don't want to go that far when we discuss that. Because we don't know the instigation. We don't know whether it was those, you know, when you have a fight, it could be somebody else's instigated it with something that was illegal. We don't know what took place. But we know that this is not a good thing for his career. It's not a good thing for his keeper value. It's not a good thing for any of those.

however long this investigation goes. So I'm with you on that. It is a breaking news story that came out very recently. And so we have to wait and see. It's not what you want to hear. But this happens every off season. There are two or three guys. Something happens. And the trickle-down effect, you know, if Mike's right and something's long-term, we just talked about Carlos Williams on the rookie show. Yeah. Somebody can carry the load.

If you're in a keeper league and you have LaShawn McCoy, I hope you have Carlos Williams. You know what I was doing? I used to do at 245 in the morning. I'd be playing Taco Bell? I'm either at Taco Bell or I'm playing Xbox or something. You ever thought about just sleep? I'm sleeping at that point? Of my days, back in the day when I was actually awake at 245 in the morning, I can't really make it that late anymore. Just pointing out that.

Man, I don't even know what that life is like. Well, I just don't know. You can call Shady and ask. What else is going on? The Philadelphia, speaking of Philadelphia, where this event happened, the Daily News reports that the Eagles are not interested in reacquiring Rams quarterback Nick Foles because apparently they came to their senses. You know, there was the, I think it was Adam Shepter who said that new head coach.

kind of had some interest in Nick Foles. Um, no. Why? No. And the Eagles said, wait, we saw, we had him. No, you know, you know where that news came out of? That was Nick Foles camp. Leaking, leaking rumors. I miss you, Philly. Somebody. Remember that one year, 19 and two or whatever it was, touchdown interception ratio? Look, it was a matter of.

a rumor that came out of the fact that San Bradford may or may not be franchise tag. He may or may not have a deal there. And so they need somebody if he doesn't. I would take anybody maybe over Nick Foles. But yes, debunked, not interested in reacquiring him. And then we also have news out of Atlanta, the idea that the Falcons are unlikely to cut Roddy White. It's interesting. Probably be back for another year.

I would expect some changes in terms of, you know, we saw Hankerson's involvement periodically in the beginning. They were obviously looking at another option. You have Hardy there and then whatever they do in the draft and free agency. And so today's a free agent show and we'll be talking about all the wide receivers available. Speaking of wide receiver free agents available, one more just got added to our list. Really? Breaking news. Hold on. Do we have actual breaking news? Yeah. Hit the button. I wish I could. All right, any other news you guys want to talk about? I did want to mention the upcoming schedule for the NFL. We talk about how many things happen in the offseason, and we're not lying to you. The Combine is this month. Two weeks away. That's nuts.

We are officially in 2016 mode. Yes, that's allowed the first show after the Super Bowl, because the NFL is an ongoing event, as are many of your leagues. We've also got free agent negotiations open up in March, a very early part of March. The free agency opens on the 9th, officially. And then you have the NFL draft that comes in April. And by the time that's going on...

We're going to have a lot of keeper deadlines for leagues. People will be in the swing of things. We'll have mock drafts going crazy. It's going to be a lot of fun. And we're going to see all of these free agents we're about to preview and how they shake out and how that affects a lot of the existing rosters today and then guys in the draft and where they go forward. So you guys are ready to start talking free agents? Wait, sir. Wait. Yes, you're not ready. Oh, you always take a couple seconds. I got to prepare my mind.

Quarterbacks. I got to be ready for this... Quarterbacks for this potential Osweiler Case Keenham fallout. Yeah, we'll get to that. I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's start with Sam Bradford, 28 years old, free agent. We just alluded to the situation there in Philadelphia. What do you guys actually believe about San Bradford? Because this was a guy who was esteemed for his accuracy and was disparaged for his injury-prone nature.

Yes. Now you had a little bit of an issue or a change on both sides of those things, but is he a, is he the guy to own in the free agent class? I think we'd all say probably Cousins is the guy to own over Bradford.

In the free agent market? I don't know that I would rather have cousins over Bradford. I would think Bradford is the guy to own. He was coming still off of a knee injury. And while you saw Carson Palmer come back and play well right away, that's not always the case. So for me, Sam Bradford is the cream of the crop when it comes free agent quarterbacks. He's also got the pedigree in the background that will make, you know, you can have a little bit more trust in Bradford than cousins just from looking backwards.

Either way, whoever you like, he's going to get paid. No, I'm... Is that confusing to you? No, no. I mean, it's not confusing to the point that five years. Sam Bradford was the number one overall pick, but five years ago was a very, very long time. And Kurt Cousins was the most accurate quarterback in the NFL this year. Yeah.

So, Kurt Cousins. Give me, Kirk. Give me upside. Give me not five years of what I've seen before. Bradford is well worth a paycheck someplace. With ACLs that have not been torn, at least to my knowledge. I don't think any of us, I don't think any of us disagree on what we think of Sam Bradford. Where we disagree is just where we think of Kirk Cousins. I know we'll get into many Kirk Cousins battles as the next year goes on. So staying or going, Kirk, sorry, Sam Bradford had over 3,700 yards.

19 touchdowns. He hasn't had an NFL season. 730 yards? No, I said 3,700 yards. Oh, sorry. Yeah. But he's never had an NFL season of more than 21 touchdowns. You know, he was in the Chip Kelly experiment that went foul and sad for many of the fantasy options in Philadelphia. And so he could land someplace. You could land in Philly and be better, a lot better because of the change over in offense. But give me your gut.

Thoughts on staying or going San Bradford? Because I think it's really up in the air right now. I think he will end up staying. I think that Philadelphia, no, it's, I don't, Mark Sanchez. You're like, are we going to go ahead with Mark Sanchez? Or are we going to try San Bradford out? His contract, I would imagine, will be in the, it'll be like a Kaepernick style. I don't know if he'll get his. Well, they could just franchise him, too.

For one year, another year trial for him. Would be a lot of money for San Bradford. Yeah, you're talking top five of quarterbacks. That would be a lot of money. But it wouldn't hurt you long term, which could be the better play. I think he's back for the Eagles as well. You don't usually see even just top half quarterbacks ever hit free agency. That would be a lot of money. And go anywhere. So I think San Bradford will be back. They don't have any other good option there.

Another guy that should be back is Kirk Cousins. Yes. I don't see any reason to project him elsewhere. They're going to keep him. In Washington, he's been the guy that's, uh, Gruden's been championing, Kirk Cousin since the beginning and just enduring the RG3 stuff that was taking place there. They're already opening contract talks with Kirk Cousins. He was, he had over 4,100 yards. He had 29 touchdowns last year. And he was very impressive to me. He's still somebody who doesn't put it together.

Week after week after week from a just seems like the mind-body production standpoint. But sometimes he just gets a little confused and sometimes he'll take a knee when he should be spiking the ball. I mean, those kinds of things. But he's 27 and he showed a lot of what he can do. He ran the ball well. He has some, there's some upside there in Washington. Now, I think we all expect Dallas to bounce back in that division, but there's no reason Washington can't compete as long as they put the right pieces around.

Cousins and as long as what I think Mike and I project and maybe Jason doesn't, that he maintains a good level of production. Yeah. I agree. And I agree that I do not agree that Kirk Cousins is going to be a very good option. He's a big Bradford guy. He is Sammy Biscuits best friend. You give me... 21 touchdowns at three ACL surgeries. You give me Kirk Cousins against an inferior opponent.

at home, and I want him every single time. I'm going to take him over anyone. But other than that situation, if he's, if he is, if he's on the road or if he's facing a really, you know, great defense at home, I'm, I'm just not buying it yet. I think that he had the perfect schedule this last year and, and you saw the difference between home and road. And next year, I don't think the picture is going to be as bright. But.

We'll get into that more as the offseason comes, and we do more research. This is just talking free agents of where they're going to go. I think Kirk Cousins is clearly going to stay. Ryan Fitzpatrick is 33. He's a guy who almost sniffed the postseason, but never has made it. Oh, he did sniff. I'm sorry. He almost made the postseason. He got a waft of it.

They collapsed in that last game. It was really disappointing for Jets fans and us as well because we were really hoping the Jets made it. We liked their opportunity in the playoffs. They were a well-rounded team, but didn't get it done. Bowles is saying all the right things about bringing Fitzpatrick back. I actually believe, based on what I'm reading, that it is up in the air. I think it's not a guarantee that he comes back. The right offensive pieces are there where we saw...

how he could execute an offense with Decker and with Marshall from a fantasy perspective, which is the whole point of this. You want him back, don't you? Yeah, you definitely want him back. There are pieces that became very reliable for the New York Jets, and whenever you have change, that's going to disrupt that reliability. Everyone next year wants to be able to rely on Brandon Marshall, rely on Eric Decker, and if Gino Smith is back there...

You're not going to be able to do that. So from a fantasy perspective, you want him back. I also believe, but Bull says that he wants him back and it's a higher priority. He also has said if he comes back, he is coming back to be the starter as the starter. Of course, you're not going to pay him money to...
