This is Al-Lazard, aka the Lazard King, wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers, and you're listening to Fantasy Footballers Podcasts. To the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Oh, welcome in Wednesday, August 5th. It's a mock draft show. Every moment.
Leading into the mock draft will be marked by potential manipulation of you two gentlemen. That Alan Lazard intro is only there to... It did build my hype. Convince you to take him around earlier than he should go, Mike. I do like Alan Lazard. I've been a strong supporter of his, and we did have some hype trained pieces yesterday. Which you made us aware of. Oh, did I?
Welcome into the fantasy footballers. Like Devante Adams is super excited to see what Alan Lazard is going to do this year? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, this is the Lazard year. I would go third round. That's all I'm saying. I was going to say, if you're convincing us to take him around early, does he now qualify for yesterday's quick question of your last pick in the draft of who you're taking?
Yes, because he goes from undrafted to drafted. Exactly. I was going to see, I don't bring him up because I figure by the time people are actually drafting, Mike will have moved his ADP well ahead of that. I'm working on it. Yeah. Welcome into the show. You can find us on Twitter at the FF Ballers, the fantasy football community. Jointhefoot.com. If you're looking for a league, you can go to join the foot.com. We have Foot Clan leagues over there where you can get into a local or an online league. Dynasty, auction, keeper.
Doesn't matter. You can find some good people to play with. And you can find us on YouTube. YouTube.com slash the fantasy footballers. You can check out the ultimate draft kit. It is so serene. You can be one with nature with the ultimate draft kit. I like to sit in an atrium.
while I... Yeah, I do most of my studying outside. Yeah. I mean, not in Arizona. I mean, this year, we're going to have a lot of virtual drafts. I highly recommend drafting from the atrium. Yes. If you are in your home, make sure you go to your atrium first with your laptop. Or if you have to, you might need to bring a small desk and your PC in there. But always draft from the atrium. I always draft from the atrium or the conservatory. But when I do the conservatory, I have to move the peloton. I was going to say you got to do it from the belly.
You can draft from your peloton. I jack the peloton screen and use that. Yes, absolutely. Yes. It's that or the sitting room. I can't decide. But let's kick it off with some buy sell today. Buy or sell presented by pristine auction. If we figure out that more of our listeners than I...
than I know about. Have atriums? We got to change the price on this thing. We got to change the price on the UDK. We got to add some more commas or something. When you talked about the sitting room, that reminded me strangely of like walking rooms. You guys remember Scrooge McDuck had the room where he would just, it had the, it was just for walking? He had the circle that it was a, and he would do laps in there.
And just think. Like instead of a sitting room to think, Hugh had a walking area. Well, of course, we don't remember that. I'm sure he also had a sitting room, Mike. Well, yeah, he had at least five. But I'm saying, how are walking rooms not a thing? Yeah. What happened to this? They stopped with Downton Abbey, I think. I think that was the end. All right. Buy yourself, Joe Burrow, over 3,700 passing yards, and 24 passing touchdowns in his rookie season. Those are Andy Dalton's averages over his six full years as the Bengals starter.
Over 3,700 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns. I will say Brooks made this difficult, this question difficult. If I was just looking at passing yardage, it's a slam dunk. I think 3,700 passing yards is easy. I would probably take, I would probably buy over 4,000. Is that because Baker Mayfield did it? No, no, no, no. I don't.
And he didn't even start all 16 games? Well, that's compelling. Yeah, rookie quarterbacks nowadays, this is not a hard line to hit. And when you combine that with what Zach Taylor showed last year, his willingness to. Well, it's hard because we've only seen two rookies hit both of them. Right. Yeah, well, I just mean rookie quarterbacks have opportunity and the passing offenses in today's NFL, they are just more conducive to the yardage totals. I'm not going to look back to 1990s rookie.
quarterbacks. I'm not sure Torayekman ever hit 3,700 passing yards in a season. So Cam was over 4,000 yards, but he 21 touchdowns. Yeah. That, that, anyway, that's about 2,500 rushing touchdowns that year. That's the number that's hard. The 24 passing touchdowns in his rookie year. Well, what do you, do you have your exact numbers that you have projected him for? I do. And I, this is a high bar for a rookie quarterback, but.
I think we all agree that this is a really good prospect who has a great receiving core. Apparently I'm in. I've looked at my projections and I got him down for 3,800 yards. I got 28 passing touchdowns coming from Joe Burrow. That is a lot. I have them at 23. Apparently I'm more in on Joe Burrow than I remember. So you're buying, I'm selling. That 24 is going to be tough.
I think he gets over the passing yard, Mark. Jason, what do you think? I have him statted out for an incredible rookie season. I have him for, do you? I do. I have him for 4,200 yards, 4191, and 27 passing touchdowns. So I do believe, I mean, you know, it's one of those things where- Sounds like a great season for A.J. Green to me.
Quarterbacks. Sounds like a great AJ Green season. I mean, quarterbacks are notoriously hard to scout. Give me your stateline again. For AJ Green? No, no, no, for Joe Burrow. 4,191 yards and 27 touchdown. How does Joe Burrow possibly hit that mark?
without AJ Green having a great year. I can, I mean, I could tell you, all of my stats match up. His receiving core matches, his passing line. Here comes the John Ross numbers. Here comes to Out and Tate breakout season. Look, I've got John Ross with 535 yards and four touchdowns. Has he ever done that? That's not outlandish. He had 506 for three last year. Yeah, in eight games and half a season. He's a superstar.
I mean, that's not a big number. 504? It's a big number for John Ross. Okay, Tyler Boyd, 936 yards and five touchdowns. That's not outland. No, where is the production coming from? It's coming from everyone. So far, we're up to 1,500 of your 4,300 passing yards. Go on. Okay. Here's. Give me that Uzama line. Oh, Uzama with 289 and 3.
I mean, who's getting the burrow yards? Here's, well, you've still got A.J. Green, who's almost near 1,000. T. Higgins for 2,000. It's T. Higgins, I think, is the, is the big differentiator here that's bringing the other wide receivers down. 630 yards for receiving touchdowns. All of my stat lines to me, I think are good. When I read these, I'm not like, what, that's crazy. I think those are accurate. And this is how when you look at the, when you look at the team, well, you got.
you know, the running back receiving yards, Gio and Joe Mix. I am curious. What's your AJ Green line? I have them for 74 receptions, 1087 and 6. I have them 66. Those are rookie numbers. You've got to pump those up. I know they're rookie numbers. I've got it for 66 receptions, 925 yards and six touchdowns. Okay. This turned into an AJ Green question. They all owe back to AJ Green. But it is. It's related. If Joe Burrow has a great year, to me, it's because AJ Green is playing. I mean, the receiving yards really.
are pumped up by Rodney Anderson, of course. Now we understand. Rodney Anderson. Drew sample? What's interesting, though? It's 80 yards. I was thinking about this. I do have Rodney Anderson. That's 80 too many. No, it's 80 too few. I expect 160. If he makes the team, it will be a spectacular day for you. It'll be a great moment for me.
Uh, he's, he's on the, he's on the pup, just so you know. I am a well aware. Uh, my Twitter tends to, uh, share all Rodney Anderson news with me. We should start a new business. You, you remember pagers? We should sell player pagers and you buy a pager and it's specific. Just that news for, like Mike's got like a Blake Jarwin pager on his, on his belt. I mean, you sold me with the alliteration if I'm being honest. A player pager sounds like, trademark. Yep. Yeah. Oh, let me go. Shark Tank. I'm in.
Here's the thing that's interesting about the borough situation, even for Kyler. Like, it's very easy when we look at, you know, let's say you look at Green Bay and you found out that, I don't know, Devante Adams was out for the year. How would you feel about that quarterback situation? Poor. Probably poorly. You have Matthew Stafford lost Calvin Johnson years ago. Not a great, you know, situation. Kyla Murray's getting DeAndre Hopkins. Sure. You know, a player like Joe Burroughs picking up.
AJ Green. I don't know if we look at the return as much as we look at the loss sometimes. But I think Joe Burrow is going to have a good year because I think they're going to give him the chance to throw the football and that's all it takes. Not playing conservative. So with those numbers, Jay, then Burrow has to be one of your favorite late round target. He actually is a guy that when I look at late rounds, we've had the question of what?
super late drafted quarterback has a chance to explode and really shock us. And Joe Burrow is one of my go-to answers for that. I have him at quarterback 18, so he's not a guy that I'm looking to be my normal starter necessarily. But if a draft breaks the right way, I think he has. Gardner or Burrow? If you had to play them 16 games. I have them back to back in my rankings. I've got Joe Burrow one spot ahead.
All right, that was by herself from Pristine Auction. You can check them out at pristineauction.com. This week only $100,000 worth of giveaway, sports memorabilia. Use the code PW 2020. I don't think we have any news to get into, do we? Not that I'm aware of. I mean, unless we want to go back to the Allen Lazard news. We are going to mock draft. Yeah, well, we do have one piece of news, which is awesome for the Foot Clan.
