Yeah, no money. And we both said no money. And people were on Twitter saying, man, $1 million. Look, no money. You know what we're talking about investment from an NFL team. It was just funny. Our reaction. All right, let's do some, a very special, a very head-to-head-to-head mock draft. The fantasy footballers mock draft. All right, we are doing a mock draft today. It is a full PPR league, 12-team league.

And another wrinkle we're adding to today's mock draft. We're going three wide out. So a full PPR, three wide receiver, two running back, one quarterback, one tight end, one flex. We did not know our draft spots until moments ago when I clicked begin draft. And it looks like- No one's happy. No, I'm not thrilled. But it's interesting, especially in a PPR three-wide receiver draft. Mike is at pick eight?

I'm at pick nine. Jason's at pick 11. Let's kick this thing off. So in the first round, McCaffrey, Barclay, then Michael Thomas, Michael Thomas sneaking ahead of Ezekiel Elliott. Well, three wide out. Exactly. Full PPR. Then Alvin Camara, Dalvin Cook, and to Mike's chagrin. And to my Edwards despair. Yes. As you said. Very nice. Clyde Edwards Allaire at 107.

What do all the running backs drafted ahead of Mike have in common? They all catch the football full PPR league. So Mike's on the clock. We're here pick eight. Yeah. So the running backs available. You know, Derek Henry, Mix and Drake, Miles Sanders, Austin Echler, interesting guys. I mean, aside from Henry, not really a pass catcher. We're down to this other tier. Meanwhile, the fact that I have to have three wide receivers and the number two guy.

is still there. I'm going to try this out. And I'm going to go with Devante Adams here. I'm not going to take a running back with my first pick. I want, I'm going to get a wide receiver who I believe firmly has a chance to be the number one guy. I mean, he was, he was dumped. My number one guy. He was dominant. I mean, you're talking, this is a wide receiver who can hit that 30% market share. And I think Rogers has enough left to make Adams the number one guy.

Yeah, and this is when push comes to shove on players like Derek Henry. You're in a league with a full PPR format, multiple wide receiver spots. And I couldn't do it. Yeah, and neither can I. The decision I'm staring down is between two players right here. I have the same kind of impulse as you do, Mike, to try out that first round wide receiver. The draft is conducive for it, and Julio Jones would be the wide receiver I would take here. Interesting. But I am tempted. I am tempted by...

A running back. Tilting with the first big. I'm going to take him because I really believe in him in this format. He won't make it back. Yeah, I'm taking Josh Jacobs. Yep. Josh Jacobs is my pick this year to go from tier two running back up to tier one. So I'm taking him here in the first round. Josh Jacobs at 109.

I see him very close to Delvin Cook in production this year, and Cook win at 106. Derek Henry went next, which puts Jason on the clock with one of his favorite running backs available. Two of my favorite running backs are available. But which one do you take the risk with? Yeah, I mean, that is definitely the question. So right here, Julio should be in consideration, as Andy said. But because there are two running backs that I genuinely love,

that I think are both... You should disclose them. They are Kenyon Drake and Miles Sanders. You know, I love both of these running backs. I like their upside. I like their floor. But if I have to make a decision, which I do, I'm going to go by my statistics, my rankings, and full PPR. And that would end up putting my running back one.

Who do you guys think I'm taking out of the two? I think you're taking Kenyon Drake. You are incorrect. Oh, my good. Your Miles Sanders hype has grown to that level. You should have taken Joe Mixon. That should have been the book. Oh, Joe Mixon is, I have, despite all the Joe Burrow talk about what could be, I do have problems with Joe Mixon. And in fact, the running backs that went right ahead of me.

You know, it was one of those things where I expect Josh Jacobs to get more involved in the passing game. I do. But in a full PPR, he's a little bit scary for that reason. Derek Henry, not going to be involved. It's still going to be great. But he's not going to be involved. And in a full PPR, I want a pass catcher. And I think Joe Mixen fits that bill where he just has not been very involved. He's talented. He can do it. But he hasn't been involved. Here I am. Two picks later. DeAndre Hopkins, Tyree Kill.

go off the board. You played the game and you won, so you can start with Kenyon Drake and Miles Sanders. Yeah, and I could also hear Go Julio if I wanted to split and go running back wide receiver. I do not. I know it's three wide receiver, but I like... Oh, Julio, please get back to me. Oh, he might. I really enjoy... I really enjoy... Sorry, I couldn't find Drake. I was like, wait, am I wrong? I like starting in these...

leagues where you have multiple wide receivers with really strong running backs so that I can pivot for a while, have fewer running backs on my roster, and more wide receivers, more depth for a three-start position. I will certainly at the end of this draft have far more wide receivers than running backs, but that only works if my running backs are strong. All right. So right now, Jason started out with Kenyon Drake and Miles Sanders.

Close. Miles Sanders and Kenyon Drake. Okay. Thanks, Jason. You are welcome. After Sanders went, it was Hopkins, it was Tyreek Hill, then Kenyon and Drake. Then, unfortunately, for me, maybe fortunately, it's Julio Jones, which puts me back into the position where, look, I'm always running back heavy, but this is a three-wide receiver draft. So I need to be fair with who's on the board. You have Chris Godwin in a full PPR. Yeah.

Could be very nice. One of the very few players that I think, you know, it's a hundred catch type of player. Alan Robinson's in that category too. Those two guys stand out to me. You've got Joe Mix in here, who I just talked about, who I like more than Miles Sanders and Kenyon Drake. We've got Nick Chubb who's in that category of, okay, some people doubting the past catching, but this is the player that, you know, 1,400 plus rushing yards last year. Yeah, he's more like a Derek Henry.

Especially with Cream Hunt on the team. Yeah, yep. And I do have players at the running back position down the line that I like the potential for in a PPR. I think David Montgomery is going to catch a lot of passes this year. I think David Johnson is going to catch a lot of passes this year. Agreed. And so I think I will pivot from kind of my two-wide receiver traditional. Two running back. Or sorry, two running back kind of traditional start that we've seen in recent mocks. And I'm going to go with Chris Godwin here. Okay.

in the second round. So I'm up. You are. All right. You are up right away here. I know who you're taking it. You're darn right. I'm taking him. Is he awesome? You're darn right. He's awesome. Awesome. Ackler. The ultimate PPR running back has dropped to me. I get it. There's volume concerns with Terad Taylor or possibly with the rookie quarterback. But he's got the bag. He's the main guy. So this is really a moment, though. I mean, I know it's a joke because you love Austin.

Austin Echler, so it's funny. Right. But you're talking about, you're going to take Austin Echler here? I'm going to take Austin Echler. So you're going ahead of Joe Mixing, Nick Chub, Aaron Jones. Those would be the three names that are kind of, I think, shocking in a full PPO. I will say this about Aaron Jones. Jones probably would have been my pick, but I'm not going Packer Packer. I'm not starting, I'm not pulling a Jason Moore mistake with my second round pick.

I got to diversify on the teams where I am. So I'm taking Austin Eckler. I am looking at Mike's rankings to see how his heart, because when we draft here, we don't always have, you know, we're going with our instincts and they line up perfectly. Austin Eckler is your highest with the sole exception of Aaron Jones, who said you would have taken, but you don't want the Packer. Well, Mike has Devante Adams and Austin Neckler. And then Joe Mixon went next. Let me walk through the picks first. All right.

Alan Robinson, then Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelsey, Juju Smith, Schuster, and George Kittle, Aaron Jones, Lamar Jackson in the third round, first pick of the third round. So Mahomes went ahead of him in this draft. DJ Moore, Kenny Gallaudet, Nick Chubb, Mike Evans, O'Dell Beckham Jr., and Adam Thielen. So the big three running backs were the only three to go from Mike's last pick. Joe Makeson, Aaron Jones, Nick Chud, the three I mentioned is kind of in that.

upper echelon. And so now, Mike, you've got a decision to make. I do. This one's very interesting. What are you thinking about here? I'm thinking about what are you guys going to do? I'm assuming I was going to say Jason probably won't take a running back. I guess it is possible that he starts with the triple running back would be a little bit wild. And you need a running back. Because to me, like, I'm not drafting Gurley. Four net.

Getting more and more okay with four net. As am I. As time goes on, that's what I've been saying all off season. It's like, I'm going to wait for the dust to settle. If you were in drafts earlier and you got four net late and you bought the dip, it seems like you've won that proposition. But I'm getting more comfortable. And then my tier would probably end with Chris Carson. Meanwhile, at the wide receiver position, you know, Amari Cooper, who.

I'm okay taking him here as my second wide receiver. It's kind of shocking he's on the board here. A little bit. I mean, there are 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 wide receivers off the board so far in this league. He is definitely the only $100 million wide receiver left, to my knowledge. Yeah, no, you are correct. Is that a good stat to throw out? Man, but it's the short turn for me. There's still a ton of wide receivers that I really like.

but I would be most upset with myself if I gambled on Chris Carson and did not get him. So I'm going to take Carson here in the third round. Okay. We saw the past catch and go up a little bit for him. I saw a tweet from Mike Taglier this morning that is worth mentioning in the Mari Cooper department. Targets per game, same as Tyree Kill. Did you see this? I did not. So he put up, you know, it's the consistency type numbers that we bring up all the time. Wide receiver 1 percentage for 4.

Tyree Kill and Amari Cooper is the same. Wide receiver 2 percentage. Is this last year? Yeah, Amari Cooper is a little bit higher. Wide receiver 3 percentage. Amari Cooper and Tyree Kull are the same. But obviously there's a huge gap in where their ADP is. I'm sitting here on the board. Cooper's in a completely different wide receiver tier. Well, I guess I would probably have him and Robert Woods. What about Kup?

Cup is there. Yeah, I have Woods higher than Cup. Oh. In a full PPR that makes sense. I have plenty of running backs I'm very comfortable with as my running back to in a PPR league. So I'm actually going to take Amari Cooper here. I'm going to have two wide receivers off the board to start this draft. Is that a player? You were hoping we get back to you there, Jay? I mean, there's no doubt I started running back, running back had Amari Cooper the $100 million man felt to me in the third round I would have most definitely drafted him.

So I took Amari Cooper, which is, you know, it's interesting. Chris Godwin, Amari Cooper with the last two picks. It's a massive upside at the back of the third round. Yeah, it was too much to pass that up on, and I'm picking fairly soon here. Todd Gurley went next. Jason's now on the board. On the clock, and I'm surprised here because of the full PPR.
