Now you see, you can look at the situation, you say, well, You had Patrick Mahomes, you had Tyree Kill. Which one was Sandra Bullock? Which one was Keanu? Okay. And that's where you get into the problem, because Keanu did not return for Speed 2. It was somebody named Jason Patrick. Jason Patrick? Yes. Time Magazine called him fundamentally uninteresting. Fundamentally? Fundamentally, at his core. So the...

That's a shot to the heart. He was nominated for a Raspberry Award and was the worst screen couple as well. So I'm not saying that Cruise Controls what you're getting with Tua and that Tua is Jason Patrick. I'm saying that's the risk. That's as far it can go. You've already got the best cast possible for Tarek Hill with Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill. So when you look, to his second act, you're leaning on Jason Patrick in the backfield. And it could go wrong. It doesn't mean it will. It could go wrong. And the thing is, is beyond the incredible logic of that comparison. The stats back this up. Wide receiver is changing. Team score 21% fewer points the next season. That's going to hurt your Tyreek Hill shares. Let's hope it's not speed too. He is fast, so I get the speed.

If you don't like your face, just throw on some avies and you look a lot better. I'm just sitting here, and wonderful analysis by me, through you. Also, for the record, I actually think Ellen Robinson is going to be fine now. But I just really wanted to fight the crowd. We are both checking Twitter and making sure that the Robinson and Juju pre-hyped news is equal, so we feel good about the trade.

All right, I want to talk. I'm going to start with the movie. And because, look, we want the consumer. We want innovation. We want something new. But Hollywood, they want things like, they feel like, well, it's a sure thing. And so we make sequels. We make reboots. Yeah. Right? And you're like, another reboot. But sometimes a reboot comes along and it is amazing. It's so amazing, in fact, you don't even remember it was a reboot. There was a movie that came out in the 60s, only to be remade 40 years later. And that's why... Put it on the screen, Bruxie. The Denver Broncos are Oceans 11!

It's a fantastic movie. Did you even realize that was a reboot? Because I had no idea. The Rat Pack, right? Yes. Yeah. Does that make Russell Wilson the George Clooney? Yeah, an Unlimited? Unlimited. I don't know if he's a Clooney or a Pitt. Probably neither, but you know, absolutely neither. But here's the point. He's more of Jason Patrick. Forever. And I'm talking like, we just, we have. been unable to care about the entire cast of the Broncos. It's been since the Peyton Manning years. But now, literally every single position of the Broncos are interesting. Do you realize this? Like, we like Russell Wilson has a value. There are three wide receivers on this team that you are drafting. There are two running backs on this team that you are drafting. There's at least one tight end that people are drafting.

Maybe even a second. If Greg D can get it together, he's getting some hype. And it's like, this is crazy. What a cast of characters for an ultimate picture pulling off an ultimate high stealing fantasy points. It's a pretty low V, though, if you're honest. It's a pretty low V on Russ there. Oh, yeah. Well, he likes it deep cut. He's got to show off those pectoralis majoris. I see this stars Fireball Jones as well. Yeah, because he's still there. Because if we put Tim Patrick on the movie, no one's going to want to see it. Fair enough, fair enough. Brooksie, let's hit the news. News and notes from around the league. They're excited about... They like the news. Get it to the news, please. DK Metcalfe. Oh, brother. Three-year $72 million extension. Get paid. Got paid. Going back to the same team. Yeah. Thoughts?

I mean, overall, we're very excited for DK Metcalf. We were talking about it on the recent episode of like, right now it's Gino Smith taking the snaps with the ones, which is that is, unless somehow like Jimmy Garoppolo gets cut and the Seahawks pick him up, right now with their staff, this is the best case scenario for D.K. He was fine with Gino Smith. He's locked up. He still retains basically all of his value for dynasty because you don't have to worry about. Well, if the Seahawks don't pick him up, does he go to a team and you're just like, this is a complete disaster? Because that's in the range of outcomes, we always think if someone's going to change teams, it's always going to be better. He's just going to stay in the bad position. He's like, we know he's already on a bad team. But I'm saying it can get better because they're not just going to keep moving forward. Jason, do you?

Do you bury him in Dynasty at this point because of that trait? No, I mean, we talked about this prior to the last episode. I know we pre-recorded because we were coming here. But we said on that we expect Debo Samuel and D.K. Metcalfe to get paid. This isn't, this is new information. Congratulations. This is best case scenario. for DK Metcalf getting paid. Sure. I mean, there's, you know, congratulations. Well, the stat line might not look great after this. Right. So getting paid now is important. He is, he is someone that when he drops in basketball drafts right now, I'm grabbing on the hope that Jimmy G might come and on his talent. But in general, I don't think he has a monstrous season.

with a bad quarterback. We've seen it too many times. It's not always a great fantasy storyline to say, I hope Jimmy G arrives at some point. Exactly, exactly. You had a couple of camp injuries in Pittsburgh, Pat Fryer Muth with a hammie. Oh. The Mute. The Mute is tight. And Chase Claypool, shoulder injury. I've seen a lot of highlight films of George Pickens, catching balls from Mitch Tribesky. Yeah, we'll see. Did you perk up at all with some of those? I mean, look, if Claypool actually, if something is really wrong with him, but he's been listed as essentially, like, he'll be fine moving forward into the season. George Pickens is a good player. However, Steelers, rookie wide receivers, other than Trace Claypool, of course, they tend not to produce, although this is a brand new situation.

Well, and Deante's not going to be there after this year, so I feel like they need to establish more weapons for the future. Long term, Pickens is a great player to have. Yeah, you pickens him up. Oh, my God. Oh, man. It's okay. You can move. I don't care. I don't care. You're so lucky you have the soundboard. It's pretty weak. Speaking a week, reporting, Peter King. Oh. believes that remandre stevenson will get the bulk of all the carries in new england look that would be great there was a lot of reports coming out in new england some hype about remandre stevenson yeah and then and then it started coming from peter king and i'm like well back in back in on damien harris we go yeah i mean there was the report that uh he that that that remandre was running with the ones so maybe he's leaner he's 225

I think that's good for him. I mean, you know, we call him Ramandre for a reason. So Ramandre Stevenson, I think, is a good pick. At least you know that he can get involved in the passing game. If James White is missing, and right now, if you're drafting, I think it's an immense value. We'll know more when we get closer to draft seasons. Does it make you nervous about Damien Harris, though? Because we've been in those mock drafts where he's in those middle rounds and he just lasts and then all of a sudden you feel good about getting him. I've never felt good about getting him. I have a 0% share right now of Damien Harris. So I, you know, it's one of those players that doesn't catch the ball. And so I, and he's not named Derek Henry, so I don't want him. It is possible that all this Stevenson hype pushes Damien Harris even further down. And then I'll be, I still, I still think Harris is the dude until proven otherwise.

I don't have any other news where Peter King saying somebody is the star of camp. So I think we can hit the ice and fire. Are you ready? Ice and fire. It's so hot and cold. And that, uh, the inspiration for that diddy looks almost relevant again. Sometimes. Oh yeah. I was going to say sometimes you just wake up and you're like, yeah. I got something. Yeah. We're going to write that down. We're going to write that down. Well, this is one of my favorite shows of the year. We do our ice and fire picks. We're going to do it a little bit different today. Keep you on suspense for a little longer. But Mike, first reveal your player. Yes. I mean, I'm sure you'll be in massive suspense here. Yes. Speaking of suspense, I want to talk about a quarterback from the San Francisco 49ers. The quarterback.

Will he be ice? I want to... Will he be fire? What do you think? You think Trey Lance is going to be fire or ice? They think he's going to be scream. All I hear is, ah! All right, I will reveal it to you. Guess what? Trey Lance is a fire player this year. Wow, those are the same special effects artists from cruise control. Speed two. Here's the thing. Fire, you say? I have so many... arguments that I've laid out for Tray Lance before supporting cast. We can go from there. So I wanted to find a new angle. Oh, no, not a new argument for Tray Lance. Because they're unlimited. Me and Russell Wilson have unlimited arguments. Please. Unlimited. For Tray Lance. And so here's the thing. Maybe out there you're like, I don't believe. I don't believe in Tray Lance. I don't think he's going to be.

Yeah, like you watched last year and stuff. Yeah, you're like, maybe he's going to be okay. But here's the thing. Projections. Let's give Trey Lance a conservative 20 passing touchdowns. That's not a lot. That should be easily obtainable for Trey Lance with the San Francisco 49ers. If he continues to run the ball eight times a game, which is also conservative, considering in two starts, he ran the ball 24 times. for 120 yards over those two games. So just give me eight rushes a game. It's not out of the question that we're talking about 750 rushing yards for Trey Lance. Remember, 120 yards and two starts. So over the season, you just give me 750 yards. Those rushing yards, if he hits that mark, depending on your scoring format, that's an extra 19 passing touchdowns. That's how ridiculous rushing scoring is.

for quarterbacks. And that doesn't even factor in the upside, the chance at him scoring rushing touchdowns, which he is going to do. Kyle Shanahan is going to play to the strengths of Trey Lance. He always does for his quarterbacks. Look at the next gen stats. The Shanahan quarterbacks are always at the top of the league for expected completion percentage because he is smart. He draws up plays that gets the ball easily into the hands of his playmakers. On top of like Debo, exactly, like Debo Samuel and George Kittle. And on top of that, he has a cannon of an arm. We've already disproven the nonsense of the arm fatigue. Trey Lance just based off of his legs, give me eight rushing attempts a game. And those guys who have done that, eight rushing attempts a game, on average, are finishing in the top six of fantasy scoring. So yes, to me, Trey Lance remains a fire pick. He remains an ADP value.

I don't know how long that will hold up because everyone will start to get on board of a little more comfortable with Trey Lance, but for at least right now, he's a sensational pick at quarterback. Thank you. The concern with Lance has always really been around confidence. Confidence of the team and what they were going to do, and now they've officially moved on. They've moved on. They've said they would have traded Jimmy if he wasn't hurt, and now they will. Uh, we'll see if, you know, you defrost him and then he's on fire and you'll end up in good shape. Let's go from one of Mike's dudes. Yeah. To another, a sensational athlete. Oh, this is a great start. At running back Antonio Gibson. Oh, Antonio Gibbs season. It's been running hot for two years. Oh, it's been on fire. Or... Oh, the crowd is letting you know. Or should I say... Oh, no.

Ansonio Gibson has these eyes! Incredible pun! How did I come up with Ansono? Oh my goodness! The Vopo! But Jason, did you know that Antio Gibson has been a running back one, both of his years? I knew that. Wow, voice of public opinion. This is my job, Vopo. I know that stuff. I know that Antonio Gibson is talented. I know that he has finished as a running back one both years. I know that the three of us collectively have been all in on Antonio Gibson through the first two years. Some of us more than others. I mean, no big deal. I was a huge fan. You were a huge fan. And the time is gone quickly for Antonio Gibson.

There's a lot of changes here for Antonio Gibson. You know, you've got the quarterback change. Any Wins truthers? I did actually hear that we have someone in a... Did you just ask if there are any Wins truthers? There's someone in a Wins jersey here. Not even a joke. Oh, that's embarrassing. Yeah, that's embarrassing. So you have a quarterback change. You have an offensive line change. You know, a couple of years ago, when he was breaking out, he was, there was sixth best offensive line according to PFF. Last year it was 15th, middle of the pack. Then they lost all pro guard, Brandon Scherf. So this team is not a great one that you really are like, man, I want that, you know, that offense. That being said, the biggest concerns here for Antonio Gibson. Are the other running backs on the roster? You've got J.D. McKissick, who was about to leave town. Just give me a kiss. I'm so afraid. I don't think that's coming, because I don't even think we have that here. Yes. We're good. It is a little bit terrifying. I don't think it's going. You think I'm setting a joke up. No, I'm just afraid. Yes. Yeah. So here's the thing, is that, you know, when Jady McKissick...

was injured at the end of last year. Antonio Gibson was during those last five games, Antonio Gibson was on a 79 target pace, but that was only without McKissick. Through the other games, he was on like a 49 target pace, which is not getting it done. He's not a receiving back. When we loved him, it was always the wide receiver converted to running back. He could be Christian McCaffrey, they said. We know for sure that this team is not using Antonio Gibson as the passing downs back. Will he get 40 targets? Sure. He got 40 targets last year. Who does it? It was good. Right?
