Jared Goff is going to... He's going to be my start of the week. All right. New Orleans. Great opportunity. At home, week one, I think golf is... Like, golf is... I hate to say this. He's the only person I actually look at on the Waver Wire, and I go, man, he's probably going to be way better than Josh Allen in week one. And I should probably, like, if I had any, you know...

28:05 ↗

Like he's probably going to score more fantasy points than Josh Allen in week one. I know I'm not going to make the switch. You won't? No, I'm not. I know your bench. You can easily make that move. You think because it just doesn't matter. I just won't play a quarterback. Well, I'm saying you've got guys to drop. Oh, yeah. I mean, I could do it for sure. It's hard for me not to play Josh Allen in week one of the season. I mean, that seems I have Amon Ra. That would be a stack situation. Yeah. He's my start of the week. I think he's a must start this week. Yeah, I like that. These are quick and simple.

28:35 ↗

for week one. Baker Mayfield, a guy that might be on your waivers or was, you know, a later round. Yeah, Baker might be on your waivers. A later round pick. He's playing on the road against Cincinnati in the highest overrunner of the week. He just got paid $55 million a year on a new contract. I mean, the bank, laser. All those guys are on waivers in our league. Mayfield. You know, I mean, you pay the man his money and then play in Cincinnati against, you know, an improved, but still.

29:05 ↗

terrible Bengals defense in the highest over under of the week. Also, you just, you want to play against the Bengals. Either the defense is bad or that offense is going to put up points. It'll be a great matchup. I'm going with Jacks of Darts against the Dallas Cowboys. It is Sunday night. It's the third highest over under of the week. The Cowboys, like the Bengals, will have a better defense, but all we have is last year's data and last year.

29:32 ↗

against the Cowboys at home. Jackson Dart 230 and 2 completed nearly 70% of his passes and 5 carries for 32 yards on the ground. I think darts in a good spot to start the season. All right, Amarian Hampton against Arizona is my running back start of the week. Hot Hampton, get to going, double-digit home favorites. Cardinals suck. And there you go.

29:54 ↗

Yeah, I'm going to go, I'm going to go, Brees Hall. He's on the road against Tennessee. His groin is intact. He should see 18 to 20 touches in a winnable game. The Titans, they ranked 28th and points allowed to the running back position last year. The Jets' offensive line has also been improved. So he's a, I think he's a great play this week. And Jason, I got your guy. Your running back is my start of the week. Oh, let's go. Bucky Irving. He's a running back too, but.

30:21 ↗

He is in a very good spot against the Cincinnati Bengals. Jay, it's the highest over under. New Bucks O.C. Zach Robinson ranks number one among all play callers over the past five years for percentage of zone-based runs. Last year, Cincinnati allowed nearly five yards per carry on zone runs. Do we have a perfect match here? Also, Sean Tucker should be out. We don't know for sure that that will give the goal line to, Bucky, but it...

30:51 ↗

Definitely gives it a boost in probability. Devante Smith, a wide receiver, is my start of the week against Washington. It's time to watch him. Takeover is the alpha for Jalen Hertz. Commander's defense. Last year, the past defense was pretty much the worst in the NFL. Easy start, Devante Smith. I'm going to also go with a Devante. I'm going to go Devonte Adams. So if you have a Devonte, you should start him. I love it. Tonight in Australia. So is it actually tomorrow? Sort of. Yesterday. Kind of.

31:18 ↗

I'm like all in on Devante Adams. I believe he's a wide receiver one this year. I mean, he was a wide receiver one last year with 14 touchdowns. I saw 16 targets inside the five yard line, which is the most targets since targets have been a stat. So, you know, this is a great matchup against the 49ers. He had 19 targets in two games against the 49ers last year. And I'm going with Tetaro McMillan. Like he's the number one for the team. He will get the target share, the highest target share of the team.

31:48 ↗

And he is playing against the Bears where their secondary last year 31st in schedule adjusted fantasy points allowed to the position, 29th in yards per game, 29th in pressure rate. This should be a game that Bryce Young will surpass 200 yards, should be, and the benefactor will be Team Mac. Last start of the week, Sam Leporta, the other side of that golf situation against New Orleans. I'm stacking them up. You obviously have a touchdown chance of Sam Leporta in this high over under.

32:18 ↗

The weakest part of the Saints defense defending the tight end position, Sam Laporte. Yeah, you're not worried about the coming back from the injury. You're all in? Yeah, I'm feeling good. I'm going to go Isaiah likely against Dallas to stack with Mike's Jackson Dart. I mean, if you drafted him late, this is a great way to see what's going to happen. You know, in his nine career games without Mark Andrews, he's averaged 50 receiving yards, 12 and a half PPR points, and I promise Mark Andrews will not be on the field. He's not on the roster.

32:48 ↗

I was almost sad that I still had Kyle Pitts available to me in our League of Record draft because my plan, me and my son who run the team, we're like, we want Isaiah likely. But with him there, we're like, okay, we got to take Kyle Pitts. But I just wanted, I wanted likely, I think you could rely on him this year. I think you made the right decision. But especially week one, that Dallas matchup is very good for Titans. I think with Darius Slayton going away is like.

33:12 ↗

There's a commitment. And neighbors might be on a snap count, start a little slower. I do. My outlook for our likely has gone up, but this will make you happy, Andy, because Kyle Pitts at Pitt is my start of the week. Pitts v. Pitt. It's Pua. But, I mean, this time is just too. Pua loves to throw it short. It's just too. Oh, this is his favorite thing, man. That low A dot? That's how you get it done. That's Tua's way. Steelers last year, a problem.

33:39 ↗

defending the tight-end position 30th and scheduled adjusted points, 29th and receptions allowed to the position. Kyle Pitts, while it's probably an A-DOT of 3-5, he should be good for 5-plus receptions, getting used some volume. All right, that was starts of the week, brought to you by Apple Card. Fantasy Forecast, presented by prize picks. Here we go. Week 1, the full slate. Tampa Bay. Stay healthy, people.

34:25 ↗

Yeah, I mean, that's probably worth saying. The first game was so bad for injuries. And pregame and post game. Tampa Bay Buccaneers traveled to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals, Vegas line Cincinnati minus three and a half over under 50.5. We just talked about Baker. Jason started the week. Just talked about Bucky. Mike started the week. High over under. I can't help but think of every beginning of the season in the context of Cincinnati failing. Yeah. So, you know, losing.

34:54 ↗

As favorites at home against Tampa, it would be a tough start for Mike's Super Bowl favorites. But it's a different year. Nine and ten is the Joe Burrow. Excuse me. Read the, read his entire. Nine, ten, and one. Thank you. In September. Thank you. The worst part for fantasy managers, he averages 15.7 fantasy points per game in September. And that jumps up to his normal range, 2018, 22, 20 for the next four months. He's kind of a Yeti, too.

35:24 ↗

Joe Burrow just seems to put up points when it gets colder. Except for like Henry is good in the beginning and then gets better. Burroughs bad in the beginning and then gets great. Week one fantasy points for Burrough the last three years. Last year he scored 8.8 fantasy points. The year prior was 8.1 fantasy points. The year prior was 3.2 fantasy points. So a big game. Big opportunity. At home. Got to get it done. Got to get it done for Jamar and T. Higgins.

35:52 ↗

Chase Brown, lots of auto starts in this game. I think I will kind of on week one, like we said, there's not a lot of start decisions from the main players, but there are situations on depth charts that are interesting. To me, the biggest story of this game is going to be the wide receiver room for Tampa Bay and what it looks like when the game is over. High over, under, Baker can get it done, bad defense. You should sit here and say, hey, I'm Ameca, Abuka.

36:20 ↗

I think Buka, Godwin, and one other mysterious name is going to have a game in this. Yeah, is it Jalen McMillan or is it Kate Otten that gets the... Yeah, absolutely. No, and I would... What about me? Yeah. I would say Tet. Yeah. I would say that both... When we're looking at these week one matchups, the most important thing is not really even who to start. It's what to watch for. Like, that's the most important thing. We need to go into these games going, what are we going to keep an eye on? And to me, it is both...

36:47 ↗

the wide receiver core and what's the pecking order, the snap counts, but also the running back core. How much is Kenny Gainwell involved? How much does he siphoned away passing work from Bucky Irving? The Buccaneers are a very interesting watch, and it's fun that it gets to be against the Cincinnati defense. Yeah, the Bengals are also, I want to see how different it actually is. A lot has been talked up of this. We're going to be under center more.

37:17 ↗

to help us get more explosive runs to help with the play action to really sell things. Chase Brown remains just a very strong. He finished incredible. It started real bad because they didn't have a quarterback, but just multifaceted in the game. I see Price Picks has him at 23 and a half receiving yards. Does that seem low to you? It seems low because Vita Vaya just got a $30 million contract extension after he was like, I want to be traded. They're like, no, they paid the man his money. It's hard to run.

37:46 ↗

against the buccaneers when Vita Vaya is healthy and motivated and playing well. But the little dumpoffs to Chase Brown, 23 and a half receiving yards, that seems like easy to me. New Orleans travels to Detroit. So we have a couple of the games that were featured in our starts of the week. The over under here, a delicious 49.5 Detroit minus seven. And I'm going to be honest. I feel like that's respectful of New Orleans.

38:15 ↗

When you're at home and New Orleans with what they were able to do last year, Detroit, I could have seen this being a bigger line, maybe eight and a half or something like that. Detroit has the second. In Detroit, yeah. Has the second highest implied point total. Detroit is going to be cooking this week, which is one of the only teams where you can say, you know, golf this week, Gibbs, Ammon Ra, Jameson Williams, and Leporta, I think are all in play.

38:40 ↗

Absolutely. This game environment is exactly what you want. The pace of play, you know, from more on the Saints is awesome. The fact that Detroit is going to score a cajillion points, I'm all about this game. And this is why, you know, you talked about Devon Bailey as your kind of emergency play as a wide receiver too. It's because of this game environment. It's perfect for fantasy.

39:09 ↗

All right. Well, then on the other side, Travis A. Chan Jr. gets the opportunity to make his Rumbalaya debut. Tyler Shuck. We'll see if he takes a step forward. Brother, the prize picks projection has shuck at 246. I thought that was insane. Only Joe Burrow and Dak are higher. Well, they're going to need to pass the ball in this game. This is what we're talking about. So Joanne Johnson, Olave, Velae, and a pinch.

39:39 ↗

Honestly, Travis A. Chan Jr. is going to get a lot of work in the receiving game. It's not something that Moore's offenses usually over the last couple of years have excelled at targeting the running back, but that is one of, you know, Travis A. Chan Jr.'s calling cards and they're going to be passing once they're down.

40:02 ↗

Anything else from this matchup that you think is a tough decision or something you're watching for, as you said? I'm watching the James and Williams Sam Leporta situation where hopefully assuming Sam Leporta is healthy and plays his full allotment of snaps, which it appears he is going to. I want to know how does James and Williams do. Because Jameson Williams blew up at the end of last year. It coincided with two different things, the play calling changing, but also Sam Leporta being off the field. I want James to come out week one.

40:31 ↗

and dominate with Laporta on the field. I think that would say a lot. Yeah, I think it would be tough, I think, for all those guys every week to get it done. I think LaPorta and Jameson could seem more ping ponging this year in terms of one of those guys being the next man up because Gibbs and Alman Raj are so involved. But this could be a good week for it with the over-under. If you lost Brock Bowers and you are scrambling, I had tweeted out right when the news came, but this shouldn't surprise you, Juan Johnson would be pretty much my...

40:59 ↗

favorite replacement who is on a lot of waiver wires. I know he's not on everyone, but I think that he is a solid play. All righty. New York, Tennessee coming up next. We'll take a quick break and get back into the week one matchups. Jason's New York Jets take on the Tennessee Titans in a matchup of what's the opposite of a juggernaut? I'd say get the pep't already. Hey, someone gets a win. That is.
