All right. Talk to me a little bit about this Jets Broncos game. The Jets travel to Denver. The Denver Broncos, they are in bad shape. 41 point over under. They're one point underdogs at home. Man, they have been imploding. What? Well, this is on the back of what we saw last week, a bad Miami Dolphins team that looked themselves like they were reeling.

153 passagesdestroyed the Broncos. The Broncos were looking, projecting like they were looking towards the future. They're going to get Devante Booker more involved, and all of a sudden they didn't. They went with Trevor Simeon, who looked terrible last week and got the ball back to C.J. Anderson. Devante Booker was nowhere to be seen. It's very difficult to project what Denver is actually trying to do right now. Are they trying to win these games or look to the future? Now, at home, Trevor Simeon is...
is, you know, in a better position. And the Jets have been on the season the last ranked team against quarterback. So that's why earlier I said I think I lean towards Demaris Thomas is because they're, you know, there's a good matchup at home against the Jets. The Jets have been really good against running backs lately and not so good against wide receivers, forcing everything in the air. I think.
Trevor Simeon is, you know, he's one of those sneaky DFS-type plays where no one's going to be playing him. No, certainly not. No, that's what I mean. But if he ends up with a good game, I won't be surprised, which means you might have okay starts in Demaris Thomas or Emmanuel Sanders. That's how I see it. I don't disagree. I do not. We've talked already about the Robbie Anderson-Germane Kerr situation, about ASJ and his upside in this game. The Broncos have been...
Pretty much the worst defense right now in football in terms of fantasy points giving up. Not necessarily yardage. But Matt 14 in this game, I feel pretty good about him. Josh McCown averaging 13.2 yards per completion since week 10, the second best in the league. He's been on fire and I'm happy streaming him. Now, Robbie Anderson being out. It has to change it. Yeah, it doesn't make me feel good. That's for sure. But I still think McCown's okay to play in this game. Hmm.
Fair enough. I do really like the running backs. The problem is, for fantasy purposes, speaking for the Jets, who will it be? Last week it was all three. Yeah, exactly. They're using all three, which means you're spinning the wheel. Maybe you hit, maybe you don't. Who do you feel the most confident with between Forte Powell and McGuire? Oh, it's Forte Bay a lot for me. And last week, even when they had multiple production, and I'll let you give your thought, Jay. When they had, he had 15 carries last week.
So Forte is still the guy. I think what you saw last week and why it feels more like a, what did you call it us? Just spinning the wheel. Yeah, I mean, it's because they all got into the end zone, didn't they? Well, Forte, Forte had a receiving touchdown. McGuire got in and then Powell was involved. With the rushing. So that's the hard part is the goal line. They didn't feature someone. Everyone got shot. To me, it's Powell. Now, I love Powell and Forte. So when you say Forte by a lot, I say,
Great. I love Forte. I also like Powell. Forte last week, 15 carries, surprisingly not the leader. Blal Powell, 18 carries last week. And I think both of these guys are going to do some damage to the Broncos, and both are fine starts. They got to run a lot last week, didn't they? The Redskins take on the Chargers. Chargers trying to keep pace in the division. With a win, they'll stay tied as the Raiders take on the cheese.
The Redskins are what, they're hanging on by a fingernail to play off hopes and dreams. Sure. Sure you are. So they travel to the Los Angeles Chargers, and this is a 46-point over under. The Chargers are six-point favorites. Which side do you want to start with here? Do you want to start with the home team? No, I'm going to start with Washington because a lot has been made by us and me in particular of Russell Wilson.
has to take on Jacksonville. What do you do with that situation? Meanwhile, you have Kirk Cousins here who has to go to a completely different side of the country. And he's in a particularly tough matchup where the Chargers over the past six weeks, seventh against fancy quarterbacks, fourth to wide receivers. Can you play Kirk Cousins with any kind of confidence? My vote is no.
Yeah, not with confidence. I see him. I mean, you're doing the battle between Matthew Stafford and Kirk Cousins, two pretty good quarterbacks that I would prefer to move away from. I would prefer to, you know, with all the good streaming options this week, I might plug someone else in. So I'm not confident there. But that's part of why I'm so bullish this week on Somaget-P-Rine. We've seen this with the Chargers. You just...
You can't throw on them, but their running game is pretty soft. So if you want to compete in this game, it's going to be, you know, on the ground. And with the injuries to the other running backs in Washington, Somaget's been getting the work. And he's involved in the passing game lately. So Somaget, P. Ryan, I see as a running back won this week. Yeah, I do too. He's the start of the week. I love P. Ryan in this matchup. It's the one place that, you know, he's not going to come off the field in the entire, even if they're down. He's not going to be off the field.
for the duration of the game. Josh Doxon, I'm not excited for Doxon. He's a pure bus this week. He gets Casey Hayward, and he's not at the point in his career where he's going to win that battle. That means, do you have any confidence? He's no Josh Gordon. Do you have any confidence with Jamison Crowder? I do. Targeted 36 times since week 10, that's seventh most in the NFL. I do. I have faith in Crowder that the targets will be there, and I have faith that he will be.
Better than last week. Is Ryan Grant a deep play? I don't think so. Okay. Panic. He scored last week, so. Vernon Davis, though. Vernon Davis, we can't trust him. No. Vernon Davis, what has happened? Vernon Davis. Logan Paulson's been out there. And Jared Cook, shame on you. Yes. Shame on you. In the corner. In the corner. All right, the Chargers is on fire. Philip Rivers. Lighting him up in this one? Yep. Melvin Gordon, obviously starting him. What about Austin Eckler as a flex?
I still have a really hard. With all the, I mean, we just named so many guys that you were able to grab this week, the Kerwin Williams, the Tion Green's. I would much rather avoid Austin Echler, who you just can't rely on the volume, even though he has been getting it done. If Keenan Allen is getting the lion's share of Josh Norman's attention, Hunter Henry, Tyro Williams, Travis Benjamin, Mike Williams, who do you start of that group? Hunter Henry is my start of the week at Tide End, but is there another wide receiver or pass catcher that you like?
Let me put it this way. If you're flexing Tyrell Williams or Benjamin or Mike Williams, would you choose any of those three over Echler as a flex? I would choose Tyrell Williams over him. Yes. I don't think I would. I think at that point, I don't want any of those options. So I think I would go with Echler. But as I said, I would prefer.
Tion Green to Ackler, so you can see my belief in the other... There's a sentence you didn't expect before the season. Right. I'd prefer Tion Green to Echler. Two players that before the season nobody knew. One, who before last week nobody knew. All right, the Seahawks, eight and four take on the eight and four Jaguars in Jacksonville. Jags are two and a half point favorites, a 39 and a half point over under. And I think I've seen more questions about this game than just about any game this week because everybody wants...
Permission. Everybody wants permission to start Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin and Jimmy Graham and Mike Davis. Do you give them permission, Mike? Are you granting them permission? The Jaguars are a dominant defense. Yes. Am I granting permission for what? Can they play them? To start Seahawks.
Of course. You have permission to do whatever you want. This is a free country. Am I playing Russell? Can you give them any confidence? Can you grant them confidence? Jason, can you give them permission to play these Seahawks? Mike, go away. Ask better questions. It's a great question. They want validation. They want to know if they can confidently start Russell Wilson. Here's the truth. That is a no. Here's the truth. I thought it was a great question when he was asking it to you.
because I didn't have to give permission. But I wanted to see what you said because it's such a difficult. Am I bane over here? Now you have my permission to die. That's what happens when you play Russell Wilson this weekend. So, yeah, you have warned people on Russell Wilson. I completely get it. I mean, I really do. The quarterback production against Jacksonville has not been like pretty bad. It's been you're going to lose this week. Yes. Now, if you're a big favorite.
Do you feel more confident starting Russell Wilson? Man, if I'm a big favorite, I almost feel like I don't need him. There's so many good streaming options. I just want to make sure I'm safe and not ending up with six points, which Russell Wilson could easily end up with in this matchup. That being said, I trust Russell Wilson this time of year when games matter, when the game is on the line in that fourth quarter.
Russell Wilson will be able to do some damage. You also have the injury possibility to Jalen Ramsey. That's worth monitoring. If Jalen Ramsey is out, if for some reason he is inactive because he was not practicing with the latest report we have, then you can confidently fire up Russell Wilson. I still have him as a quarterback won and will be surprised if he doesn't finish there. Doug Baldwin. It's all down to Ramsey whether you start him or not. Would you actually bench Doug Boyer?
AJ Booieg, because Baldwin is in the slot. Yeah, I don't know. I think that Ramsey would end up on Doug Baldwin now. Yeah. I feel more confident in Russell Wilson than I do in Baldwin. Baldwin is a guy when he's at home and in a matchup that you can use him and he gets that volume. But he's not at home. I don't know. Exactly. That's why I'm saying I think that Russell Wilson, he'll scramble.
I don't know if he's going to find Doug Baldwin on that broken play or if it's going to be Lockett or if it's going to be Paul Richardson. But I believe more in the rushing ability and a big play or two to someone for Russell Wilson and Jimmy Graham, I like as well at the tight end. Doug Baldwin, I would be really terrified to play Doug Baldwin. Okay. Mike, do you have anything to add to that? Thanks, Eli. Nope. Okay. Yeah, I'm not sure that I got enough clarity from.
There's no clarity to be had. Yeah, this situation is. But there are decisions to be made. And so we have to choose. We have to make those decisions. And when you sit a guy like Doug Baldwin or Russell Wilson, you're making a humongous decision that could cost you. Yes. And that's why this situation is impossible. And so I can only tell you what I will do with my team. There you go. I am not playing Russell Wilson. There you go. Mike Davis. Would you play Mike Davis?
Running back for the Seahawks coming back last week, got a majority of the snaps. I'd rather have Kerwin than Mike Davis. Okay. On the Jacksonville side, Leonard Fournett, he has 77 rushing attempts since week 10. That's good, right? Second most in the league. He's been stuffed 20 times since week 10. That's the most in the league. So some of those attempts, they're just not working for you. They might as well not be attempts.
Leonard Fournet confidence level against Wagner and the Seahawks defense. The thing that we've seen with Seattle since the loss of Cam Chancellor and Sherman is a wide receivers are going crazy on them. They're 29th in the league against the wideout, 33 fantasy points a game. For context, that's more than double the fantasy points that Jacksonville is giving up in that same time period. That being said, do you trust Leonard Fournett or do you have to trust?
Blake Bortles to find Westbrook or Lee. And which of those guys would you prefer to start this week? Jason, you started Westbrook against me last week. You got to win. Marquis Lee had a good game as well, but he's banged up. Talk about the Jaguars. Talk about Fournett and that group. Yeah, Fournette is a guy that you have to start. I do worry because it's a tough matchup and his angle injury, but you just can't bench a guy who is at home.
who's been getting the volume and is the predominant running back with as much talent as he has. So you worry about that. In the passing game, the Seahawks have, they've gotten far worse. I mean, wide receivers on the season, the Seahawks are the middle of the pack. They're 19th. But really, this is a team due to injury. You need to look at the last six weeks, and they're 29th. They're not good at guarding the wide receiver lately because they've been used to having Richard Sherman, and they don't have them. So I think you can start Marquise Lee.
And I think you can start D.D. Westbrook. Okay. Okay. I hope that's not a thing. Because I say okay a lot. Don't. The Eagles take on the Rams. The Eagles are 10 and 2. They take on the 9 and 3 Rams. The Rams are two and a half point favorites at home. You know, this is a matchup that before the season, I don't think we would have been looking at like, wow, what a game. But now you have the Rams, been productive, Todd Gurley.
