You know, he shoots the ground with a shotgun and then finds oil. And that's what the Jaguars did with James Robinson. Yeah. Except Urban Wire was like, no, no, let's just let's put some newspapers on that. I do not want your free money. Antonio Gibson survives. J.D. McKissick survives. Yep, for now. If the team's better on offense and McKissick had a big role. Yeah, we'll see. Got to use more than one. More receptions for Gibby.

43:38 ↗

You'll be pining for that, I know. You've got lobbyists on the way to Washington right now. You're darn right, I do. Spare no expense. That would be the one football team you could send lobbyists to. They're already there. They're already in Washington. You got it. NFC North, let's start with the Lions. Let's stop talking about them. They did not spend draft capital on offensive players of relevance. It was an area where we saw a potential wide receiver could have landed.

44:06 ↗

Yeah, but Sewell, the offensive tackle from Oregon dropped. Yeah. And man, the Detroit War Room was pumped. They were. They were pumped. Well, they got a tackle, Mike. Yes, I know. Amun Rae St. Brown went in the fourth as a wide receiver, which really doesn't always matter, but they do not have a lot of. Yeah, he is interesting. Out of USC, and they don't really have, they don't have the future at the wide receiver position.

44:36 ↗

So if you're taking him in the later second or the early third, I definitely think that St. Brown is worth an ad. What about adding Jamar Jefferson, their seventh round running back in the hopes that you can make someone think you're trading them Justin Jefferson? That's very sneaky, very underrated type of a move. Hopefully they don't look at the team name. Just cover that up. What about adding Rashad Perryman and Tyrault Williams based on the fact they didn't grab a high draft capital whiteout? Like just...

45:02 ↗

The one-year rental of these players having actual value. I'm not doing it in a Dynasty League, but in a redraft league, those guys might have their value. Who do you like more? Who do you hate less? I'll take Perryman. Okay. The Vikings had a ton of picks in this draft. I believe four third round picks. Goodness. That's a good time. Two years left on Kirk Cousins' contract.

45:31 ↗

So they invested a third round draft pick on Kellan Mond. Yesterday or on Tuesday's show, Jason mentioned they were in the running for Justin Fields. Yeah, and I think, yeah, man, that would have been, that would have been a very controversial pick because the Minnesota fans turn on Kurt Cousins each and every week. I'm just trying to think of a Kellan Mon James Bond joke, but I'm going to be a workshop. The name's Mond.

45:55 ↗

Kellynmont. Yeah, that was the, I mean, it was right there. It's the low-hanging one I didn't throw out there because I didn't know if it was too dumb. No, it's great. But then I forgot what show I'm on. But you have to say it with a Connery. Oh, is that what it is? The name is Mont. Oh, that's pretty good. Kellynmont. All right. Not bad. Become something Kellynmont. Or don't. This is a top-level show right now. No big winners and losers on.

46:23 ↗

this offense right here. I mean, the offense as a whole, their first pick was a tackle. Yeah. That helps everybody. Dalvin Cook can. Dalvin Cook? Yes. Name Shmon. You're going to be practicing. I am. That's right. The Bears. Oh, brother. Well, they already got the Hopkins drop. I'm not just giving that out willy-nilly every show, but they did draft Justin Fields. They traded up with the Giants and they have a future or the hopes of one.

46:53 ↗

And it's a big deal. It's a big deal for the offensive ceiling. When you have the future at quarterback, potentially on the roster, you can be better than what you've been. You could not have been better than what you've been with Andy Dalton or Nick Foles or Ms. Trubisky. So if you want to know if a ceiling can exist, you have Justin Fields. Yes, Justin Fields, I think is going to have an absolutely incredible career.

47:22 ↗

Some interesting facts here. Quarterback 6-2 are taller over the last 20 years that ran a sub 4-5. Robert Griffin, who before he got injured, was incredible for fantasy. And Justin Fields, that is it. He was PFF's highest-graded passer on intermediate throws. He is going to be great. I love Justin Fields. Yes. So I take him a spot higher in Dynasty than Trey Lance, which I don't know if that's a popular opinion.

47:51 ↗

Yeah, there's a very wide range of ranking between these three quarterbacks. I see them in every single possible order. Okay, yeah. And then Alan Robinson, you know, Darnell Mooney, those, the Darnell Mooney dynasty truthers out there. It'll be interesting. And Alan Robinson, I don't know if the volume's going to be the same. If it's Justin Fields from day one, it should be. I mean, that would be the smart thing to do. But I don't know what they do to protect Fields. I don't know what this offense looks like.

48:18 ↗

So I'm not going to guarantee a better season for Alan Robinson year one. But if they sign him to a long-term deal, which I think they should do, future could be bright. And he could get to play with a very good quarterback. Yep. The Green Bay Packers. We've talked about them a lot today. 13 and 3. Yeah, that was their record. Toxic locker room and all. So toxic. Amari Rogers, they went with a wide receiver. I believe they traded up for him. Did they not in the third round? Yeah, moved up seven spots to get him, give up a fourth. There's room.

48:51 ↗

There is room on that offense. If Aaron Rogers is back and Amari Rogers is good. I mean, Devante Adams and company. Yeah, Amari Rogers, wide receiver out of Clemson coming up a thousand yards season. He's interesting because he would be interesting only if Aaron Rogers is there. If this is Jordan Love, then the third round wide receiver out of Clemson is not that interesting to me. NFC South, the Atlanta Falcons.

49:21 ↗

First pick of the draft, Kyle Pitts, fourth overall. It's going to be wild. Here's a highlight for you so you know. And I do think it's a winner spot for Kyle Pitts himself going to an offense, a quarterback that knows how to throw the football to the tight-in position. A lot of production has come from the Atlanta tight-ins. The best rookie tight-in fantasy season over the last 30 years was the 2017 Evan Ingram season.

49:50 ↗

That was 64 reception, 722 and 6. Is better than shocking? That is the tight in 5 on the year. Do you believe that Kyle Pitts beats a 64 for 722 and 6 season? Because I'm guessing my projections will have him very close to those numbers almost exactly. The 60 to 70 for 700 to 800 to 800. I'm taking the smart money and I'm going to say under. Right. But have it in your brain.

50:20 ↗

Know what the best season in 30 years has been. Yeah. Even if he's better, it might be just a little bit better, and that's still a tight-end four, five, six season. Yeah. Be very excited for carpets. And he's awesome. Yeah, he's awesome. Be very excited, but know what you're doing with your draft capital that you might just be really excited for this electric rookie, but you're probably setting your fifth round pick on fire. The.

50:48 ↗

Falcons had eight picks in the first five rounds. They drafted zero running backs. Is the biggest winner of the draft Mike Davis running back Atlanta Falcons? Yeah, him and Gaskin feel like the biggest established players who were not in the draft having that affect them. They project to be a strong offense. And you entered the draft with a lot of Julio Jones talk of perhaps Julio Jones is going to be traded. They did not make a move that said,

51:19 ↗

that tried to put someone on the roster to replace him, unless you believe that's Kyle Pitts and that the team then would move forward with Calvin and Pitts. Matt Ryan is going to be underdrafted. He's a winner in this draft. Not only because they didn't draft another quarterback, they could have, but Kyle Pitts adding him to the offense is going to be huge. I mean, this is the NFL completion leader for 2019, 2020. He gets it done each and every week.

51:50 ↗

I think Matt Ryan's going to be in play for fantasy players. Yep. He usually is. You have these weird seasons where his touchdown rate goes plummeting through the basement. But the yards will be there. Plummeting through, right through the basement. Yes. Into the earth. If it was just in the basement, you would know how to go get it. You just go down the stairs and you pick it up. You don't even know how to get to this rate. No. If there's a hole in your basement, where did it go? I don't know. You need like a caterpillar.

52:18 ↗

A caterpillar? Yeah, like one of those machines. Oh. I thought you made the actual insect. Why would take a while? What do you know about caterpillars going down tunnels? Does they burrow really deep in the ground to become butterflies? Isn't that the... Oh, is that, yeah, because you know he'll come back up? Because he can fly out. Sure, Mike. Tie it together with what I didn't mean. Thank you. A caterpillar. All right, moving on. The...

52:47 ↗

Carolina Panthers. They passed on Justin Fields too. Yes, they did. They took J.C. Horn, the cornerback in the first round. Who I love, but, and both of the teams that passed on quarterback took good cornerbacks. Terrace Marshall Jr. was their second round pick. Wide receiver. Has an opportunity to contribute from day one in this offense if they have a quarterback. And I like Marshall. I thought he was great. Slipped in the draft.

53:16 ↗

Chuba Hubbard, fourth round pick, running back depth for Christian McCaffrey. You've seen it. We've seen what happens if Christian McCaffrey misses time. And it's the backup can be very productive. Yeah. And then they get a contract with the Falcons. Yeah. But Chuba had an absolutely incredible season a couple years ago. He's very fast. If given the opportunity on this team, per, you know, heaven forbid, CMC has to miss some games.

53:45 ↗

Jubid's right in, he's locked in that you're going to be picking him up and playing him. Robbie Anderson, is he a loser because they drafted Marshall in the second round, and Anderson's a free agent in 2022? I don't think he is a loser because of the addition of Terrace. I think he'll still be who he was. With Curtis Samuel leaving and Terrace replacing. Yeah, you were hoping for a better path to more targets for both DJ Moore and more assured targets, I should say, for DJ Moore and Robbie.

54:14 ↗

And I think that Rob, if Robbie plays well this year, I think they'll extend him. Sam Darnold is the quarterback of the Carolina Panthers for the 2021 season. That is factual information. They did pick up the fifth year option on Sam Darnold, and he's going to be the guy. Okay. All right, the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers brought back all their starters. The Buccaneers didn't. This was a polishing draft for the Super Bowl champs. They did go with Kyle Trask in the second round. Which they told Brady about. Oh, what an honor.

54:44 ↗

to be, I mean. I'm just saying. Like a good organization? Yes. Yeah, a good organization, a Super Bowl winning team went to their franchise quarterback and said, hey, look, we are going to draft a backup. The best part, Mike, is that Tom Brady is 100 years old. And they even told Tom Brady. Like, it shouldn't have been, like, of all the people you don't have to tell. And you know what? Tom Brady is the kind of guy that would have been.

55:10 ↗

He would have been missed. Yes, he would have had a chip on his shoulder going, this youngster coming in here after me. But Trask has a little bit of intrigue with the fact that he'll be behind Brady. That's a great mentor. Bruce Ariens, a great quarterback whisperer, and time to mature. And he's a second round pick, so the draft capital is there for a chance in the future. Agreed. And Leonard, Fornett, and Ronald Jones survive. They did. Which is their career theme. That is their whole goal.

55:40 ↗

Survived. Just ha ha ha ha. Yes, yes. And then the Saints, let's talk about the New Orleans Saints, 12 and 4 last year, went defense for the first three draft picks, drafted a quarterback in the fourth round, in Book, and there you go. We thought that a wide receiver might end up there. They did in the seventh round, but it wasn't one of the prolific ones. Were you the one whispering?

56:03 ↗

that you might be on Trey Kwan Smith this year without Jason. That would be Jason. Okay. And he is locked in. I mean, Trey Kwan Smith's locked in as a starter. Yeah. Emmanuel Sanders is gone. So, Treykwan Smith is interesting. Yes, he could be. So was Adam Troutman. Adam Troutman is. Yeah, that's the face of a guy. He's expected them to add a tight end. Adam Troutman. Who knows? Yeah. Who knows right now. But did we do it, Brooks? We got winners and losers from the entire.

56:32 ↗

NFL? Oh, yeah. And it was perfect. Perfect analysis through and through. Did you hear that caterpillar discussion? Right. Incredible stuff happening. Is that the kind of stuff you're looking for? Hard hitting, Brooksie? Yeah, I learned a lot from that. Thanks, guys. You're welcome. Next week is Dynasty Week. Oh, man. So we'll have all of your fantasy football news, notes, information, everything to get your team ready. But it is Dynasty Week. We'll be focused on Dynasty rosters, teams, rookies, all of that.

56:58 ↗

And there are updated rankings, rookie rankings, dynasty rankings in the UDK right now. Those are live at Ultimate DraftKit.com. I wonder if Jason's found a trade partner by now. He has not reached out to me yet. So he still respects you. Yes. Yeah, he just knows you won't take that junk. He knows you won't take that junk. All right, that is it for the fantasy footballers podcast. Call him the Monday Adam's junk. His offer. Whatever his offer is, he's going to be bad. Thanks for listening to everyone. We'll see you next time. Goodbye.
