The obvious one is Nile Davis. Everyone is going to be scrambling for Nile Davis, who, to me, will give you edge running back one, probably running back two. He's the type of handcuff that you want it. He is a handy handcuff. He is a handy handcuff. He is the guy who, he's the dedicated sole backup. See, these handcuff situations where you're like, okay, Ray Rice is out of here.

14:08 ↗

And Bernard Pierce and Forsett, you know, that's not the ideal handcuff situation. You want something like Nile Davis to Jamal Charles, something like the spiller Fred Jackson combo where one guy goes down, you know the other guy's going to get the dedicated role. Nile Davis is a very talented back. Pick him up immediately. Start him this week. And if you were a Jamal Charles drafter and you didn't take Davis with one of your last picks, you have made.

14:38 ↗

A serious mistake. Yeah, and now you're paying the price because you're either going to have to literally pay it when you go and trade for them or you're going to be without. Next on an obvious one. And when I list these, I don't, these probably aren't in the order of. Let's just say some names. Kyrie Robinson. Mark Ingram is out for reportedly a month. And we've said that.

15:06 ↗

to really clear up that Saints running back mess. One guy will have to miss time. Well, now Kyrie and Pierre Thomas, but Pierre Thomas is probably owned in your league. He's a guy you might be able to buy. Yeah. And get four or five good weeks out of. And Thomas has value beyond Ingram's return, too. Right. And then a guy, Donald Brown, fragile, glass bones, Ryan Matthews finally went down again.

15:35 ↗

Do you think Donald Brown is going to make an impact? I love Donald Brown. If I miss out on, I guess there's one more guy on this list, but Davis, it depends on your team situation, but Davis is the first guy I would grab just because he has immediate, absolute known impact. I think Donald Brown is going to be a strong start for at least the four or five weeks, and who knows?

16:04 ↗

He's been a slow healer in his career. Ryan Matthews. And who knows, they gave Brown money, so they clearly believe in him. And I don't think Woodhead, I don't think he'll change very much. There's reports that his role will not change that much. So I really like Donald Brown. I would spend decent fab. If you're in a free agent budget league, you have some money to spend.

16:33 ↗

You're saying spend some on Brown? Yeah. And depending on my situation, I'm spending anywhere between 20 and 25% of my fab on Brown. Next, Bradshaw, he's probably not available in your league, but if he is... He's clearly taking the reins from Trent Richardson. I think the Colts have finally accepted that Bradshaw is a better player. The problem is the Bradshaw is going to get hurt next week.

16:57 ↗

But I would still pick them up. Some other names I got here, too. Just a couple guys from last week's waiver wire, but if they're still available in your league because you didn't take a shot on them, obviously Terrence Justin Forsett should probably be owned. He had another good PPR performance. And then Chris Ivory scored again. So he's not, I don't like Chris Ivory. But if you, hey, running backs are a tough position. So if you need a spot start, you could do worse.

17:24 ↗

And then, so with Brown and Davis, the other guy who I'm very excited about is Roberto Rainey. I was going to say, I was literally going to ask you, how good is Bobby Rainey and how long will you get? I love Bobby Rainey. I'm worried. I see, my worry meter is zero for Bobby Rini. What about Bobby Rainey, though? Rini, is that what I said? Did it come out, Bobby Rini? I think.

17:53 ↗

It's a whole new coaching regime in there. They have no loyalty to Doug Martin. Their loyalty is to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and getting wins. I think they'll split. Look, they might split, but Martin, when he was in, was not effective. I think he ended with... It's been about a year and a half since he's been effective. Seven carries for seven yards, something like that.

18:19 ↗

The reports were split on why was he benched? They said he could have gone back in when he was hurt. But then we also heard he was missing blitz pickups. He was not running the plays right. He was ineffective. Bobby Rainey just torched a St. Louis defense. Now they lost Chris Long. That's a big loss for them. But he torched a St. Louis defense that for the most part contained Adrian Peterson.

18:48 ↗

Right. No, I love the talent of Rainey. I just want to, it's a risk. I mean, if he's out there, go grab them. If you don't have, if he's available in your league, he is a potential, you know, depending on Martin's situation, he could be an RB1. And he's got talent. He did, you know, he came over from Cleveland, hasn't had a lot of opportunities. He's undersized. The, a Martin is allegedly going to play.

19:15 ↗

this Thursday, so we might find out sooner than later what the plan is. But a timeshare would not surprise me, but with the timeshare favoring Rainey. Yeah. And so I would look to add him. A couple other guys worth mentioning before we go on to the wide receivers on the waiver wire is probably keep your eye on Darren McFadden as a spot start this week if Maurice Jones drew is out. I think Jones drew is out this week.

19:42 ↗

Keep an eye on guys like, it looks like DeAngelo Williams will probably be back, but Jonathan Stewart is still a guy that played okay. Yeah, he wasn't great, but he still put up numbers. And Talbert's banged up, and Williams is banged up. And so he's a name to keep your eye on. If Lamar Miller can't go, Damian Williams is the third string in Miami. Right.

20:04 ↗

You might be worth a flyer if you're desperate. If your league paid zero attention last week, Asiata might be available for... He's not sexy, but he's... And then we're talking about Matt Asiata on... He starts. If AP is shut down or suspended, then you have a guy who's at least going... You have a warm body. Who can run the right direction. He can score sometimes.

20:33 ↗

He did. He had a good week. If you picked him up, you had a good week with him. And I still keep my eye on Crowell. Is it Crowell or Crowell? I think it's one of those, too. But I keep my eye on him. Out of Cleveland. He didn't get, yeah, sorry, out of Cleveland. He didn't get a ton of work, but the work he got, I believe he was 11 for 57 or something like that. I mean, he was very productive.

21:02 ↗

And... 11 for 54. He caught one pass. And people see undrafted... 37% of snaps. Next to his name. But if you dig a little deeper on him, he was a highly touted recruit to Georgia. Now I'm doing all this off memory, which is not the smartest thing, but I highly touted recruit to Georgia. And it was off the field. Issues that stopped him. Yeah. So...

21:31 ↗

it's not necessarily his talent. He's not good. And so we didn't actually get to see what would happen in a goal line situation in that last Cleveland game. But he's a guy to keep an eye on. So let's move to wide receivers. Let's get some names out there for wide receivers. Our goal, by the way, is to get through these waiver, give you some names to sign, some guys to grab off your waiver wire for this week and then take a look at some of these matchups for.

22:00 ↗

uh these for next week the games for next week and give you some starts some stit some sits see how long this thing go so uh wide receiver so we there's not a ton of uh real sexiness to me you know who i thought was going to be real sexy waiver wire pickup who i still think is worthy of a pickup was mohammed sinew i still like sinew he's on my list yeah i like sinew too but it's looking at least i i thought maybe greens out a while right

22:27 ↗

He's looking like not a major injury, but Sunni's a talented player. I don't know, because these foot things guys think they're going to play. If you remember the MJD foot situation, every week, oh, I'm going to play. And the year before him, Jerry McFadden, every week, we think he's going to play. Nope, whole year goes by with that. Eiffert is out. Marvin Jones is out. If you were ever going to handcuff a wide receiver, this is the guy to handcuff AJ Green. So guys, I like Brian Quick from the Rams. Seven for 74 last week. Looked okay.

22:56 ↗

I like the sneaky pickup, especially because he didn't do a ton, was of Dobson, Aaron Dobson from the Patriots, because if Tompkins was inactive last week. You know what I was reading is how badly Brady has struggled throwing them all downfield. There is that. And that is the concern for Dobson, but if he can figure that out, Dobson's the number one downfield threat. Right. Amandola's non-existent. No. So they want Dobson to be that guy. They just need him to get healthy.

23:25 ↗

Andrew Hawkins. James Jones had a decent game. I mean, I think you've got to be pretty desperate to add James Jones. And wide receivers are, they pop up to me. Some people think running backs pop up. I think wide receivers, a playable wide receiver, they just, they pop up. Yeah. I don't have any other names. Anything else? Yeah, nobody else. I mean, I liked what I saw from Marcus Wheaton.

23:55 ↗

on Thursday night. He looked pretty good. He's probably owned at this point. I don't know. I don't know. He wasn't in some of my leagues, so. Moved to tight ends. Delaney Walker looked great again. He did. I don't know if I trust Locker enough to, but I suppose if you're struggling your tight end. Well, there was, he had a walker had 10 catches, 142 yards. Touchdown.

24:23 ↗

On a lot of those yards were one play. But still, you can't take that play away. If you listen to podcasts and you have your league mates do, then Kelsey. Travis Kelsey's probably gone. But he may be on the verge. He's still got an Anthony Fassano problem. I watched that game and he still has that issue.

24:48 ↗

Larry Donald's another name. And Larry Donald. Larry Donald from the Giants who looked good. Again, he looked good against the Cardinals who suck against tight ends. But Eli's throwing him the ball, and he's got to throw the ball to somebody. And Niles Paul from Washington, filling in for Reed. He looked great. He seemed to have an instant bromance with cousins. Now, Niles Paul, I didn't know a lot about him before.

25:18 ↗

He popped on the scene week one, but I feel like backups tend to like other backups because they practice with him. And so I feel like I see a lot of time when a backup quarterback comes in, he almost tends to favor the backup receiver over the superstar just because he has that connection already. So I would look for Niles Paul as long as Cousins is throwing the ball.

25:48 ↗

Right on. Well, that's your waiver wire pickups. Just real quick on streaming for defensive streamers. Got the Saints hosting Minnesota. The Ravens are playing the Browns, and the Colts are playing. Last week. Oh, man. My streaming defense last week was not a good decision. No. I have the Patriots defense that went out.

26:09 ↗

And absolutely dominated. They're sitting number one defense right now. And I dropped them to pick up the Bucks defense against Austin Davis and the Rams, and they just let me down. It's tough early in the year, man. I had Green Bay ready to go against the Jets. You regretted not playing them. And I went big and played Minnesota. Oh, that's really weird. No one should listen to you anymore. Well.

26:34 ↗

This is your Mike Zimmer slash Homer Minnesota fan. In my defense. I blame Matt Castle for everything that happened in that game. It was more than Matt Castle, but yeah, he didn't help. So let's move on to matchups for the upcoming week. Thursday night's game is a barn burner with the Tampa Bay Box and Atlanta Falcons. Boy, the bucks have looked bad. I mean, you think I'm kidding, but I actually see.

27:04 ↗

Even though it's a Thursday game, I think there's going to be a lot of fantasy points doled out here on Thursday. Yeah, I can agree with that because the Falcons are at home. The Buccaneers' defense isn't too bad, but the Falcons at home is... So start your Falcons, start your Matt Ryan. I'm starting everybody. Unfortunately, it looks like Roddy White might be out that game.
