I'd be fine with just two. Like Stafford and Alex Smith. Yeah, so rounds 9-10. So for me, that's actually early the way that I would handle Rivers and Stafford. But 9-10, I'm just going to crush the quarterback position. I'm going to take them both. And if you want, if you're trying to prove to them that they are, to show them the error of their ways, there's going to be some audio.

136 passagesOf a giant crowd of people booing them. I feel like they're booze. I felt their souls leaving their body. Yes. Which means we are properly training the fantasy community. Public pressure is one of the most powerful things to get things done. I completely agree. I would draft two quarterbacks and they would definitely be late. I'm not abandoning the late round quarterback. Here's another reason why I definitely don't abandon late round quarterback because I will be taking an early.
round, tight end. I want Zacherts, Travis Kelsey, or gronk. I'm willing to take Travis Kelsey in the second if I have to, gronk in the first if I have to. I want to lock one of those in. You can't make any moves. You can't stream tight end. Yeah. I mean, tight end is one of those positions where... Do you reserve a couple trades for injury?
If you do that, you're not drafting another tight-in later, are you? No. So then if that player gets injured, you reserve some of that transaction for those trades? Yeah, I mean, you'll definitely have to play your transactions through the year by ear and be wise to not just use them all up early. But those would be the first two things that come to my mind is early tight-end, double late quarterback. I feel like I would go, instead of early tight-in, I would go in that 6-7 range, I would be Delaney Walker from Tennessee or Trey Boo-Boo, Trey Burton.
From Chicago. Boo! Hey, hey, boo-boo! That's where I would go. All right. Thank you, Brian. Next question. Yeah, oh, yeah. Watch your bye weeks, my friend. Hi, guys. Love the show. Longtime listener. Love the YouTube. Watch it on the tube. My name is Troy. Here's the question. Nice to meet you. Big League, drafting tomorrow. I've got the second pick. We've got three holdovers. First guy's going Zeke. I'm going to be choosing between Camara. And...
Sequin Berkeley. So I'm not sure which way to go. Dem quads. So this is a very tough decision because you've got, I don't know, you've got the unknown, right? The power of the unknown in fantasy football with Sequin. You don't know what he's going to do. You can talk all you want about the bad offensive line and the troubles they had last year, but he's Sequin. And then you've got the proof in Alvin Camara, but the kind of unsustainable efficiency numbers. What do you guys do? This is a tough decision.
The question between Sequin and Camara is a very common one, not just in your situation, but when you're at that five, yeah, wherever you are. I am firmly on the Saquan-Barkley side. I want the volume. I don't want a guy who last year was so electric. And look, last year in this room, I made, I said Alvin Camara will be a top three back. That was my bold prediction. I love him. Toot-toot. You're doing right, too, too. How'd Alvin Camara finish?
The thing is, he didn't crack 200 carries, and he's not going to do it this year. I want a guy who's drafted with the draft capital of Saquan, who has the pass-catching ability of Saquan. I feel like his floor is 10, and his ceiling is one. Alvin Camara's ceiling is one, but Alvin Camara, if he doesn't get the touchdowns he had last year, and he keeps that volume.
His floor could be 16. I am curious, though. We haven't done this before. We've got the live audience here. Some of you have drafted. Some of you are about to draft. Some of you have labored with this decision, and it's very easy to poll them right now. I love it. So figure your answer out, and I want to hear it. If you would take Barclay over Camara, let me hear it. That's coming in strong. That's coming hot. And let's flip it around, Camara over Barclay? That's Sequin Barclay. I think Seekwon took it there. And I agree.
All right. I agree with the crowd. Yeah. Next question. Who's up? Hey, guys. It is. It's Barclay himself. Oh, Sequin. Look at those quads. Hey, guys, nice to meet you. I was walking around outside. I heard some noise. It came in here. Okay. Yeah. Would you take Camara or yourself? This is my question here. You stumped him. So my wife's work league.
Here we are. It's the 12 team PPR. I have the six pick. Here's the problem. It's three wide receivers plus a flex. I have the six pick. Normally, I would either go Camaro or Barclam. Or yourself. Or myself. Or myself. Or Melvin Gordon, I think, is very much in the conversation of that spot. This is not your show, sir. But with three wide receivers and a flex.
AB? I don't know. What am I doing here? Tell me, please. Is it a full PPR, half PPR? Full PPR? Full PPR. Full PPR, three wide receiver plus the flex, which is, this is the format that you can actually go zero running back in if you so choose to buy into that draft strategy. You take AB? Oh, man. Over, over Camara, Barkley? Over Camara is extremely easy for me to take Antonio Brown, especially.
and a three wide receiver. It's so hard to pass on a running back that's going to carry the ball 250 plus times, catch 50 plus passes. I think I'd go running back. Those are the most, that's the biggest edge in fantasy football you can possibly get your hashtag blessed to be looking at that position in fantasy football in your draft. But Antonio Brown is, he's safe. You know he's not going to bust. Well.
John Madden says otherwise, but I will say this. I've said this on the show. John Madden. How involved is John Madden anymore in that production? Okay, the Madden video games series. Here's the truth, though. I've said this on the show before. I personally, if I have the decision between all three of those guys, not standard, but even in half point leagues, two, two, and a flex, I'm still taking Antonio Brown. I want...
He is a stud, and I'm willing to do that, in a three-wide receiver league. Even more? Even more. All right. Let me give you some names that you can possibly do at that position. So you could end up with Antonio Brown, and then on your way back, you might end up with Devante Freeman. Great. In a PPR league, three-wide receiver, you have started Antonio Brown, Devonta Freeman. Well, it's likely the other people in the league are going to prioritize.
Wide Receiver 2. Yeah. That's why I mean that Devont to Freeman is likely to drop to you in the middle of the second. I like it. I like that better than going Sequin Barclay. What have you had Sequin and A.J. Green? I like Brown. I like Brown Freeman better. I do too. I hope you have an answer. Next question. Thank you very much. Thank you, sir. Mike, you're very handsome. Oh, my. It's the best fan in the crowd.
The guy wearing that hat just told you you were handsome. I love that hat. Hello, sir. What's up, fellas? My name's Chad. I'm from Seattle. Hey, Chad. That's so nice to meet you, Chad. Yeah, yeah, we can see. Surprise you're not chewing gum. I'm like your head coach. I'm very sorry. Can't chew gum and talk. Seattle. Yeah, I got you. So asking for a friend? Yes, sir. Yeah, asking for a friend. Okay. It's a 25-year league. It's our anniversary this year.
Wow. You guys have been together that long? We have, yeah. A lot of counseling. It's been good, yeah. That makes sense. So I'm the commissioner, and my friend came to me the other day. Apparently, his wife informed him that our draft day is the same day as his mother-in-law's 75th surprise birthday party. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no.
75, is that a big one? I've heard? So, so here's the dilemma, right? Oh, no. He said, Chad, I can be there for the first half of the draft. I'll just leave my list and let somebody else draft my team. No, no, no, no. Serious? All right. So, so. So what's the, look, I honestly, I heard the answer come out of the crowd. You did? Yeah. You listen to the show.
You get the hot snakes. You're going to be at that birthday. You're going to be in the bathroom many, many times over. I'm so sorry, this is the most embarrassing thing I've ever had to suffer. Once per 10 minutes for 12 straight for 120 minutes. Look, if this is... Oh, bring shellfish. Just bring something.
Maybe you just poison the whole party. I don't know. You do what it takes. You do what it takes. This is spiraling out of control. I apologize for nothing. If it's me, she doesn't know a surprise birthday party's coming up. It's a surprise. She's the one who told him. I'm taking Graham Graham out the night before to celebrate her beautiful life. And then I'm going to my draft. Hold on. Hold on, Jason.
Jason, you are not weighing the consequences of ruining your mother-in-law's 75th surprise birthday parties. I think you're thinking too highly of yourself that if you're absent from her party, it's ruined. But you're fine just literally crapping all over her party. That is a bit of a some paradox, Mike, in the story. Sometimes you got to run.
Because you got the runs. Okay, all right. All right. Next. Next question. I'm so sorry for you, friend. What's going on, Jeremy? What's up? Oh, hey. My name is Dre, just like the doctor. I won't forget. I never heard that one before. So I was just invited to a Keeper League. It's an inherited team. Not a single person worth keeping.
Those are always the ones you inherit. Yeah. Welcome, welcome. Ten Team League, I got the 10th pick. The snake for the draft starts after round two. Okay, so. Is it worth it to try and trade up or give away some picks for a top 10 or just take my chances with the pick? How many keepers? Only one. Okay, so it's only one. So who are you, are you, do you have to pick one? No.
Do you get something in exchange for not picking one? No. So you probably should pick one. Yeah, this is good advice. I get my 10th pick. That's it. Okay, so in that situation, you're talking, if everyone else, was it 10 team, you said? Okay, so there's not very many players off the board. You're just going to have to eat the disadvantage to start this season. And I'm sure there's going to be some people in that league. They're going to make a mistake on who they kept. It's just, it's going to happen.
Because that's the way of fantasy football. So in a one-keeper league, it's hard to trade up, lose more picks. You already think you're at a disadvantage, and then you're playing catch-up for years. You don't draft to keep in a one-keeper. You try to make the most of that 10th pick, and hopefully you secure somebody that outperforms the draft position.
And you keep them for future year. If you're making the trade because you're worried your team is bad, you're almost always going to make a tilt trade. You're going to make a trade where it's like, I'm trying too hard. What I would do is just have the mindset of, you know, don't take that keeper, get that 10th pick and start like, I mean, so many players every single year. Their first round pick, they get injured. They bust. It happens. It happens. And they win the championship. Maybe punt quarterback and go to Rod Taylor with your last pick. Maybe. Maybe.
Yeah, or maybe. Yeah, so I would keep your 10th pick and just draft well, listen to the Fantasy Footballers podcast to dominate your league. Yeah, all right, there you go. Thank you, sir. Next question. Next question. Who's next? Possibly final question. Possibly a person named Adam. Speaking to the mic, sir. Oh, no. Come forth. What is where in Seattle? Oh, no. Where's my Seattle? Seattle.
I think you've answered the question. It's not here. I'm offended because I need to give him this helmet. Wait, what? Yes. He won her helmet. He won the freaking helmet. He went to a Seahawks fan. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Take it off before. Hold on, sir. You have an undershirt, I see? You don't have an undershirt? You do have an undershirt?
I'm not giving you this helmet if you're wearing that Seattle jersey. I can't disrespect my team like that. We can't disrespect our team. The jersey or the helmets. Say something nice about Kurt Warner. He's struggling. He's struggling. Come on, sir.
