I like that we don't even like it's not 65 till the start of like the season or the fantasy football draft it's just the NFL draft and that's just fine for us the draft is extremely exciting for me I've I've learned to really appreciate the combine I don't necessarily sit down and watch the combine but I do I monitor all the news that's coming in it is exciting and I will admit I have

He has a year round of sport. Not this year, but in years past, I've sat down and I've watched it. And it's almost like watching golf. I don't know if you've ever watched golf on TV. I have not. I have watched a lot of golf. But there's just something relaxing. You're not watching it because it's super highly entertaining, but it's just you relax. It's nice to have on in the background. Yeah. And they, the announcers are a little more, they're calmer. And you can see. Now look at him here.

They do the ghosts. And they ghosted this like 300-pound linemen who's faster than him. And it's just, it's very funny. And you're like, oh, that would suck. And then I'm sitting there realizing that.

favorite thing to do at the combine, which I had the pleasure to do this year was watch the offensive linemen in their sprints. There's nothing better than that. Just watching them struggle to even get down with their hand on the ground, like, you know, almost, and then burst off and, you know, jump around. I just love the kind of hype around everything. I've heard Todd McShay come on a couple of local radio shows, you know, for like a 30-second spot.

because they want to talk to them. And they're like, okay, which of these drills gives you the most intangibles about the player? Which ones, you know, what do you learn about just the hyper-analysation of this? And we're no different because we're hosting a fantasy football podcast. You know, just that people should be thinking about. I only bring this up because we talked about DeMarco Murray last week and how embarrassing the alleged contract offer was of four years. The four million. The four million a year. Yes. So I'm doing a little research on this. Digging in. What do you think Dan Bailey, the kicker averages a year? I saw that. I don't know. I'm scared. About 800,000.

less than what they offered to Marco Murray. So, DeMarco Murray is not even worth a million dollars more to them than their kicker. That, my friends, is brutal. Especially when you hear the current Marshawn Lynch contract offers. Oh, man, they're nasty. This, this, just what you're saying about Darryca Murray, though, is confirming, you know, today we're going to do a second.

a second running back roundtable podcast. So we're going to be talking about some more of the free agent running backs. Last week we talked about some of the big guys like Murray, Spiller, Ryan Matthews, Ingram, Forsett. But what you're saying about Murray and what I'm hearing out of Minnesota just makes me think Adrian Peterson might be heading to Dallas. You got it locked? Well.

Let's not overstate it. I'm saying, in your head, this is the inevitability. In my head, it's trending that way. You know, reading the signs, reading the weather formations, I'm thinking more and more that, because last week I think I said, I thought AP'd be back in Minnesota. Yeah. But you know what? Colin Coward says it all the time. New information means a new conclusion, a new answer. So for me, I don't think, yeah, like Jason said, it's not looking good, right?

No, the whole Adrian Peterson situation is not looking good for it, no matter how you look at it, no matter what, whose team you're a fan of, it's just reading the tea leaves there is every other day there's completely different reports and every other day they're uglier and uglier. A fight between his agent and the VP. Yeah, the VP. I mean, that's childish. Just thinking about this, it's amazing. This is why the NFL is so fun because.

Two, you know, three seasons ago, we had the great, arguably the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL was soliciting offers from teams when Peyton Manning was available. And now you have the potential of, if AP was cut, one of the greatest running backs that the game has ever seen, just being out there, both of them in their relative primes. So you're saying he's going, you're saying he's going to the Broncos?

No, I'm saying I remember how much fun it was to think that Peyton Manning would come here. And so I'm going to think the same thing about Adrian Peterson. I have Adrian Peterson going to three or four teams. I really, I hope you had a lockdown that he was coming to Arizona. That's what I just wanted to hear. My sources tell me it's a done deal. In my heart, that's what's happening. I'm actually starting to lean more that DeMarco will go back to Dallas.

And that's just gut call. I mean, we don't, we're not getting enough information to really make an accurate choice. And what I am hearing about Adrian Peterson is the Vikings are not going to cut him. They're saying they refuse to cut him. Now, here's the problem. He's saying he wants, he's demanding a trade essentially. Will be. Yes, he will be demanding. That's the outcome of that, right? Yeah, once he's reinstated, everything says he's going to force a trade.

But because of his contract, he can't just be traded to anybody. He would have to agree to a pay cut. Which means he can dictate which team he gets sent to. Because he could then decide on his pay cut based on where they'll trade him. Exactly. So he'll choose his destination. So realistically, I have him going to Baltimore, Arizona.

or Indianapolis. I think that's the, or Dallas, if DeMarco doesn't go back. Right, that's your three or four. Those three, I really think it'll be one of those. When I was looking through a breakdown of how teams did last year, their kind of their future, are they really that good? And the one dark horse I had was the Chargers. Jason, if you went to one of those four places, where's his fantasy value the greatest?

I guess we said Dallas last week, right? So take Dallas out of the equation. Well, I was going to say Indianapolis, I think that just playing with Andrew Luck, with the goal line options, look at what Ahmad Bradshaw did last year when he was healthy. You put Adrian Peterson there on an offense that scores points. They're an offensive team, and that's where I want my running backs is I want them on high power offense. There's nothing wrong with Baltimore. I like...

They're running back situation. I would like AP there. But I want the most points that the NFL team is going to put up, and that's going to come from the Colts. Another piece of breaking news. I don't know if either of you guys saw this. You hearing this Des talk? The radio talk. What's happening now? Well, I don't think there's much to make of it, but I'm bringing it up because Mike Florio went on a local radio station and said that there is a Des Bryant video out there that is, quote, bad.

and that their team and others have known about for a couple of months. Yeah, the incident was him doing something bad. Now, he's come out and he's tweeted about it and said, well, it's obvious what's going on, right? You're trying to diminish his free agent value in terms of being re-signed by Dallas. But one of these people said it was on the same level of impact of a Ray Rice type of

impact if it hit, if it hit publicly. So I don't know if it's true, but I was curious if either of you guys had heard about that. I have not heard about it, but I don't want to sit here and just crush people, but Mike Florio is the TMZ of professional sports reporting to me. And they...

I've just, I've noticed a lot of inaccurate, salacious things being thrown up there and then just, oh yeah, sorry, we were wrong. I mean, there's no repercussions. We'll definitely find out. It's ridiculous, like, if there's a video that's this bad in this, in the world of the internet, it's going to go viral. And multiple people have seen it. Well, here's what it says. All of the major insiders have known about this video for months.

but for now it remains out of the public eye. Yeah, I agree with the hit, man. It's probably, but it is Des Bryant, whom has stayed out of trouble for a little while, but he still, I think he still owes some jewelry stores about $300,000 or $400,000. So, always, you know, you hear these things, and it does impact maybe the mood around a guy when it comes to draft season.

So we'll see what happens. We'll see if Teamsie's right on this one. We have a new free agent to add to the running back list. To add to? Yeah. Who's that? DeAngelo Williams. Oh, that's right. He's going to, he's been informed, he will be cut or something of that situation. He's already come out and yelled at the team, too. Did you see that? No. Yeah, he said that they abandoned him during his mother's death last year. Oh, that. So I don't know if that's sour grapes. Yeah, the only person from.

from the entire organization that was there? Do you know who was at the mother's funeral? No. Hardy. No way. Yeah. No way. Now that's funny. He's a free agent too, right? Yeah, he is. Wow. Yeah, that's, uh, that is the modern NFL. You are good until you're not and then you're gone. And that's why I think Mike, you agree with this. We don't really blame the players for holding out for this money.
