Pump the Brakes, Trade Talk, The Red/Green Dilemma

Do it before they run out. You really understand that comp. That's a great analogy. How about this one off of Twitter, shipped out Brita, the NFL's leading rusher Matt Brita, in case you didn't know who I'm talking about. San Francisco 49ers running back for and Tray Boo Boo to get Zach Ernst. I love this trade. I love this trade because Matt Brita is not a player that you drafted early. He's not going to destroy your running back depth.

More than likely. More than likely, Breda is... Caching it on a big week. You're cashing on a big week. And I am so fearful of Mitchell Trabisky for Trey Burton. If I can upgrade my tight end from Burton to Ertz, I mean, Wince is back. Ertz is locked in as absolutely a top three guy. Looks as good as he did last year. I would do it in a heartbeat. It's a shame that you don't have both of them.

I'm talking about Trey Burton and Zach Ertz because then your team name can be Burton-Eertz. Burton-Eerts? I like it. Brooks is laughing. All right. It's a shame, right? We do not recommend if you have Ertz, do not also roster Burton just for the namesake because you're making a quality of life, Jason. Quality of life might be improved. Oh, my goodness. Before we talk Thursday night preview, here's a little Wednesday reminder. Our waivers just went through.

And who did I get? You got to remember, you got to drop it like a time. Which means, which means that you are looking at who was dropped today, not just who was signed today. Teams, here's a little known fact. When you sign someone, you drop someone. A lot of people don't pay attention. A lot of people let go of guys, maybe it's circumstantial. Like last week, I let go of Corey Clement. Right. I don't feel good about it now that injuries have happened, but I did it because I wanted to get some depth somewhere else.

Someone else went and picked up Corey Clement. They dropped it like it's hot right all over me. Yeah, and, you know, Josh Docks and Tyler Eiffert. Not much here being dropped in our league worth picking up, but you can take a look. Yeah. So let's talk Thursday night. Guys, we get to watch them front and center. These two powerhouses, the one-and-one jets against the 0-1-1-browns. The Browns are three-point.

Favorites. At home. Favorites at home. 39.5.0. That's not a lot of points. It's been 87 years. This is my favorite streaming defense for sure this week. I mean, I am a believer in the Cleveland Brown's defensive line, their ability to sack the quarterback, their ability to cause turnovers. And that's...

been one of the early starts of Sam Donald's career. He's already been sacked a lot. He's turned the ball over and going on the road for a good Cleveland Brown's defense. I mean, Vegas is, you know, they've got him as home dogs. They've got him as, you know, not even scoring 40 points in the game. That's fine. I mean, I hope you picked up the Browns. I would start them over a lot of teams that start them over the Saints this week.

I'd start them over the Rams defense this week. Wow. Just because of the matchup against the Chargers. Interesting. Yeah, that is an interesting call. Let's break down. I would not drop the Rams. Go ahead, Mike. Let's just start on the Jets side of the ball. So if you're excited for the Browns defense, I imagine you're not even considering streaming Sam Darnold. No, no, I'm not. All right. That's out of the way. Isaiah Crowell-Blaw Powell. That's the.

big conversation to me. I was going to ask, what do fantasy owners even do with Isaiah Crowell right now? They start them in a decent matchup if they have to. And this is one of those situations where if you have to. Philip Lindsay this week or Isaiah Crowell? Philip Lindsay. Half point Lee. Philip Lindsay. I agree with you. Right now, to me, the comp for Isaiah Crowell, I guess Hyde is getting a little bit more carries, but.

It's a similar situation to me where Isaiah Crowell is not going to be the pass catcher, the same way that Carlos Hyde is not going to be the past catcher. If Crowe doesn't get to a touchdown, then it was a bust of a play. I would certainly start Blal Powell out of this backfield over Isaiah Crowell because he is getting carries rushing attempts and then he's clearly the passing downs back. Can start Quincy and Nunwa? Of course. So Powell and Anumwa are the two starts for New York?

Yeah, Quincy's in every week starter until... Until he's not getting double-digit targets. So otherwise noted. He's got a very high floor. Yes, I don't know where... I was going to see, I don't know what the ceilings... This is a very small room. This is like... There's not a lot of room to... You got to lay down. You got a crouch over to walk through. You're in a half point PPR and you go, man, I want... It's a tiny house. I want ten points for my flex. Quincy and Unwa. He'll get you there. He's more than ten.

Seven for 92. 10.2. Six for 63 with a touchdown. 10.7. 10.9. The range is high. Yeah. No, look, if he scores, the ceiling rises. But you're looking at a, what, a 10 target guy, 6, 7 receptions? Which is fantastic. It is. The Browns. So Robbie Anderson, throw up prior, no interest? No. No.

What do you do with Robbie Anderson at all? I mean, are you rostering him? I'm not rostering him. A lot of people have, you know, they still were high on the name. If you're in more of a competitive league, then I try to package trade him or I'm willing to drop him. And the fact that we've already had week two waivers go through. Kenny Gallaudet or Robbie Anderson on your roster? Gallaudet by so many points. Corey Davis, you want him way over like Robbie Anderson. Yes.

Corey Davis or Kenny Galladay. Good question. Still got to be Corey Davis, right? Reluctantly. The Browns. Who are you confident starting in this matchup? Look, they're at home. You've had production from Hyde. We talked through him already. But Duke Johnson's a drop to me. He hasn't produced this year. The way this team is using Jarvis Landry, I'm concerned about Duke Johnson. I don't think you need to roster him. Do you agree?

I'm going to hold on to him for at least one more week. Because of what happened in week one where it was the rainbow, I feel like I've got to throw that game out. Did you say the rainbow? The rainbow. Oh. I mean, he at least had six targets in the rainbow. But I mean, two last week. Three fantasy points in week one, two fantasy points in week two. No, I get it. He's got three receptions on the season. I'm not loving it. But when you've got a running back, like Mike said, he had six targets week one, but it was the rainbow and hard game. I want to see one more week before I drop them. Fair.

Interesting. Okay. Would you rather roster him or Naim Hines? Duke. He's done it before. Tavon? Duke. Tavon's got that running back wide receiver eligibility. That is true. At least on ESPN. On ESPN. He does. Frank Gore or Duke? Gore. Yeah. Okay. Agreed. All right. You're starting Jarvis Landry. What do you do with Antonio Calloway? Is he a lottery ticket this week?

Yeah, I don't mind throwing them in your flex. It's so far the Jets, while they've been a really good defense, that's the one position so far that they've given up some fantasy points too. Yeah. So Antonio Calloway, he's the flex worthy guy for me just because of his athletic profile, the role he will fill on this offense. And for his first start, I know the production is really just one reception, but that's what you're looking for.

with that type of player. Tyrod Taylor. He's generally a safe streaming option at the quarterback position because he starts the game with a touchdown due to rushing yards. But the Jets have been pretty good only two weeks, but Matt's, they made Matt Stafford look completely incompetent. But Matt Stafford has made himself look.

completely incompetent. He was a lot better this past week. But Tyrod, Tyrod saved his entire week last week. That floor wasn't there. Right. He had to have a 50-something yard touchdown to Callowade in the game. My confidence level on Tyrod in a game with a 39.5 point over under on Thursday night football is that, look, the Browns are going to try to win this game, you know, what, 17 to 12. I mean, I'm concerned about the upside. I think he is a streaming candidate.

I just wasn't willing to make him my stream of the week this one. The Jets to me, we opened to this show talking a quick question about the green and red. The Jets to me are the perfect, perfect example of a stop thinking they're a great defense defense because they're across the board. They're giving up few points to the quarterback, the running back, a little bit to the wide receiver, nothing to the tight end. They're looking like a tough matchup this year. That week won against Detroit. Detroit.

You know, look, sometimes when you are just destroyed, you give up. I mean, it looked like a team that just quit. Both sides of the ball. It was embarrassing. Everyone wanted to throw in the white towel and get out of that arena as soon as possible. And the Jets, you know, accordingly, their defense looked great. They weren't anything special week two against Miami. But that opening Detroit matchup and Miami, who beat them, I think, distorts. If you look at last year's data for the New York Jets defense, it wasn't.

They weren't great, and they didn't do anything to me on paper transaction-wise that says they should be vastly improved. I know they've added a couple pieces, and they are probably better than last year's albatross, but I'm not worried about that match. That's why, like, Carlos Hyde, I'm okay with. Okay.

Yeah, I mean, that makes sense. And I'm looking forward to watching it. Do you, let's just get the prediction right here right now. The last win that the Browns have had was week 16 of 2016 against the Chargers. Does it happen on Thursday night? Is it over? Are they going to one one and one, boys? Because that would be huge. Jacks. What? Yeah, huge Jackson. I, uh, man. Yeah, look, I really want to say no because of the Browns. I want to bet against them and I always do.

But I don't believe it. I actually do believe that they get the victory. Nope. Yeah, I changed my mind. I changed my mind. I'm there. I disagree with Jason. I think that the Jets might actually be a good defense. Oh, two and one. Yeah. I changed. Official vote change. Sorry, Brownsman. Sorry. Sorry about that. I think they'll win.
