You never mail cash. That's such a terrible idea. Oh, no. Cash, yours check, man. Oh, okay. Come on. Give me some credit. All right. Philip Lindsay is off to a roaring success, and I think most people want to plug them in their lineup. He's one of only seven running backs to gain 200 or more yards in his first two games as a rookie. But that list of seven guys also includes guys like Job at Best and Daniel Thomas.

I have talked a little bit about how I really want to see how this Denver born and bred and raised in college and undrafted free agent native does when he goes on the road. And yes, you just literally brought up Baltimore. They're the second ranked defense so far this year against the run, but it's only two weeks.
Last year they were middle of the peck. They were not a bad defense, 19th against the run. I pumped the brakes here because they've talked about how they're going to ride the hot hand. And we, you know, two games from this undrafted rookie, I would much rather hold him on my bench this week and see how he does on the road against a decent opponent than put him in my starting lineup. I don't necessarily want to start him. I have to start him.
And I think that's where a lot of people are going to be if you're a J. Ajai owner, Devonta Freeman owner, Joe Mixon owner. You know, I'd rather start Lindsay this week than I don't know. Would you rather start put these in order? Corey Clement, Philip Lindsay, Jordan Wilkins, Joe Bernard. So we're assuming that J.J. J. J. J. So we're assuming that J. J. J.
Okay. I'm going to pump the brakes on a touchdown scorer from last week, a very talented player. But it's D.D. Westbrook, wide receiver for Jacksonville. Blake Bortles came out and set the world on fire. He unleased the snake. I got a snake, man. But here is the target breakdown from week two. Dante Moncrief paced the team with nine targets. Keel and Cole had eight targets.
Corey Grant, who looked great, by the way. Seven targets. Oh, he does. And D.D. Austin Safarian Jenkins and T.J. Yeldin were fourth, and they were all tied with five targets. So the target share wasn't really there for D.D. in comparison to the other guys. And so he is a risky play. And that's all it comes down to here. I think we tend to react to the week prior. He had the big long touchdown against New England. And I think you don't play Didi this week.
Yeah, I like this pump. I would rather not chase last week's points. Last week they were going up against New England where they were taught a vicious lesson in the playoffs that they have to stay on the gas and just completely go, you know, they've got to step on the neck when their opponent is down. And I don't think that they're going to feel that same pressure at home against Tennessee this week. I wasn't willing to mess with the snake, but I thought about pumping the brakes on...
Mr. Blake Bortle because week one, he'll constrict you. Week one, 176 yards and one touchdown. So the part of it's four net. Sure. I mean, four net is probably going to be back. He's back at practice and ironically, T.J. Yeldon was missing from practice. Right. So that was pump the brakes with O'Reilly Auto Parts, better parts, better prices every day. Let's talk news. News and notes from around the league. He's back.
Oh, yeah. Jordan Matthews? That's also true. Jordan Matthews and Kristen Michael, they don't die. They're fantasy zombies. Yes, they are. We'll talk about that in a second. But no, I was referring to a pretty talented quarterback named Carson Wins. Starting week three.
Starting week three. Are you starting him week three? I am starting him week three. They have treated this injury the right way. They have not rushed him back. He's been throwing the ball well and pressing since OTAs in camp, but they were careful. I don't worry that, oh, man, he's going to have extreme rust. He's a great quarterback. And it's a plus matchup against the Colts. But the Colts did a pretty good job last week. And you've got.
No JHAI potentially. You have no Mike Wallace anymore. You have no Alshan Jeffrey. So the weapons, I mean, you're talking about Zach Gertz, Nelson Aguilar. Is that going to be enough to get it done? Are you going to roll them out there? Like if you've had them on the bench? It would be almost enough to get it done. Now, you probably have another quarterback on your roster because you were playing one for these weeks. So you're not taking a week to wait.
I mean, it just depends on who that quarterback is. A perfect example. We were kind of joking about, I think, yesterday Mike and I were the hotness of Ryan Fitzpatrick against the Steelers, a matchup that could really go his way. He could just stay in these flames, NBA jam style. I would play Ryan Fitzpatrick over Carson Winston. And I would play Carson Wentz over Ryan Fitzpatrick over Ryan Fitzpatrick. Mike's what the difference? Hey, what's over there? What's over there, guys?
Next question. No, you got to split. I want to hear your answer. I haven't done my full projections yet, but it might be Ryan Fitzpatrick. That's where my head's going right now. I think as a fantasy owner, I don't, it just depends on what risk you need to take this week. I'm not expecting Ryan Fitzpatrick to lead the league in passing yardage for the rest of the season. I don't know if you guys are. I'm considering it. But, uh,
Yeah, it's a little bit of a risk mitigation thing. I have a feeling all the Eagles fans are going to be starting wins on their fantasy rosters. Jaya Jai, Darren Sproles, Doug Peterson labeled them both day to day. They did bring up a practice squad running back. And if you listen to the interview with Eagles' offensive coordinator Mike Groh, he really equivocated on the availability of Jayae. They asked him verbatim and said, look, is calling up your practice squad running back? Is that...
So you're protected against availability issues with JJ. And he said, yeah. I mean, he just basically said, sure. Yeah, that's why. So there's a chance of Johnny misses the game that would make Corey Clement a really strong start. Yes. The Eagles have officially signed running wide receiver. The zombie. Jordan Matthews. Mike Wallace is uninjured reserve. Mike, I know you're really close. You and Jordan Matthews text a lot. What are your thoughts here? My thoughts.
are, it's somewhat interesting because Carson Wentz is a good quarterback. He spreads it around. The biggest question here, and the beat reporters for Philadelphia, we're also talking about this, is that Jordan Matthews is almost exclusively a slot-wide receiver, and the emergence of Nelson Aguilor has come because Jordan Matthews was out of town and Nelson was able to move into the slot. How does the team handle this?
between Matthews and Aguilar. Who's going to get in the middle when they're going three wide? If you look at the breakdowns, the splits between Aguilar on the outside and in the slot, he's never scored on the outside. All of his production has always come from the inside. All of his metrics are better from the inside. So it will be interesting. I know that Doug Peterson said that Jordan Matthews looked good and worked out and they are excited to get him back in there. They had to sign somebody. This is true. Yeah, they don't let you run 10 players out there.
So you've got to have another player. Jason, I want to talk about Antonio Brown. Now, overblown situation yesterday. He was back today, returned to the team on Wednesday. What I want to talk about here is, look, the targets, the receptions, the production from Antonio Brown through two games has not been what fantasy owners expect. I think we all expect him to return to form, but we haven't talked about the absence of Todd Haley. And on the sideline on Sunday,
In the middle of that game, Antonio Brown was screaming at their new offensive coordinator, Randy Fickner. So there may be some tumult there, and you don't have the exact same template as last year on offense. So, you know, JuJu, Jason, a star is born, emerging. Ran one more route even than Antonio Brown did this past week. Obviously, had the better fantasy performance. And...
Bye Antonio Brown. I mean, I have no worries. Not B-U-Y. What? It sounded like you were saying B-Y-E. Oh, bye, Antonio. Goodness gracious. Thank you, Mike. B-U-Y, not B-Y-E. B-U-Y. Purchase.
Your shares in fantasy football of Antonio Brown, he is still the absolute goat. And one thing we have seen over time, whether it's right or it's wrong, squeaky wheels, they get the oil. And he's complaining he wasn't the man. They are winless. And I think you're going to see Antonio Brown go ham, as he always does. If you're worried because he missed that.
you know, Wednesday meeting for, or Tuesday. Tuesday meaning for personal matters, then use that to your advantage. I'm not. Is this a hot ham approach? Hot ham and eggs. No, I, I'm completely in love with Antonio Brown. I have no worries, no hesitations whatsoever. Now, would you consider missing a meeting? Like,
If your personal reason was I just didn't want to show up. That falls under personal reasons, right? Yeah, he was finishing a series on Netflix. That's such a blanket statement. Yeah. Yeah, we don't know much more. We know Tomlin. He's fine. Tomlin was going to address it. So Chris Carson still on top of the running back debt chart, which means he's the, I don't know. Cool.
Not good. Not good. Don't start him. Rob Kelly on IR. So it's Adrian Peterson, Chris Thompson still there in the backfield in Washington. It brings a little clarity to Adrian Peterson just having a locked and loaded role. It's going to be a game script dependent thing for Peterson to succeed. And that's that by way of news. Yeah, absolutely. Before we go and we talk some traits, support for today's show comes from.
