Half him outscore Harvin. Yeah, for me, I like the momentum I've seen in the targeting of Larry Fitzgerald. I think they've moved the ball. He's gotten more, yeah. They realize he's pretty good. Hall of Famer. 70-30 is the number. 70% say Larry Fitzgerald against St. Louis. The experts are very... They're pretty polar, and they all agree with me on every single one. So that's, you know, makes sense. Yeah, it worked out last week. Shut up.

155 passagesAll right, you finally departed on wide receivers here. I think this is a good one. Frank Gore against the Saints or Joyke Bell against Miami. Ooh. Two very underperforming. Yeah, I'm taking Gore. I noticed I took everybody on the left side of this list. Because you saw their name first. You just... No, no. I just... Obviously, me and the experts all agree. I'm going with Gore. The... I would go... I'll lean Frank Gore as well.
uh i think reggie bush is supposed to be back you know with theo riddick those those fellas taken the uh the passing downs away from joick bell and joick bell has been disappointing and miami has a pretty
Pretty good defense. I don't know if you know this. I do. However, the experts think Joach Bell is going to have a better game. 57% say Joach Bell over Frank Gore. Well, that was a bit of a failure of versus the world. No, it's not a failure at all. Those are still relevant questions. We just had a lot of wide receivers in there, but pretty good. Pretty good. I think people are, you know, at this time of the year, everyone went to, I do this all the time too, and I've learned this over the years in fantasy. So I'm going to drop some knowledge on you.
Yes. Go with that first decision you make. Unless some big breaking news comes out that changes it, I really believe that you go with it. If you're struggling with it and you listen to the podcast and you hear something that makes sense, then go with it. But if you are sure, even if we tell you otherwise, if you're sure, I say go with it. Because more often than not in fantasy, I notice that if I'm flipping guys in and out all week long in somewhat of a paranoid panic, am I playing the right guy? I end up playing the wrong guy. It's like a test.
It is. When you're taking one of those school tests, they say always go with your first answer. So it's usually right. I agree. Go with your gut. I say go with Mike Wright's analysis. There you guys. Or go with us. The hit man's analysis. There you go. So, no, that's pretty good. Let's hit the mailbag. Mailbag. Oh, yes. Oh, yes. We need. And you know what? He probably wouldn't cost that much.
If we could get, like, David Lee Roth in here just probably wouldn't cost that much. For every drop just at the end. Are you aware of how much not money we're making from this podcast? We're talking about David Lee Roth, though. Oh, okay. So, but after every drop just happened. That would be pretty awesome. We'd move up the charts. Five-star reviews would be flying in. It's the fantasy footballers featuring David Lee Roth.
Get it done. All right. So the mailbag, this is where our listeners write into us and they want to know what we have to say. And don't forget the rules. Yes, the rules. We don't ask any questions pretty much anymore if you don't put in a unique name. Yeah, we don't want to know your real name, put in a funny name. But, you know, I will note this. Try and remember what funny name you wrote in so you know that your question got read. Oh, that's a good point.
And remember your question. Yeah, well, you know, if the question's getting answered, the question's getting answered. So, all right. Why don't we take turns on some of these and talk about them? All right, so coming in from Filthy Phil philanthropist. I can't even pronounce that. He must be a no-effects fan. That's a band. That's a punk band. You probably are not cool enough to know any no effects. But 17-year-old Mike enjoys that reference. Good, good, very much.
He has a waiver question. Would you pick up Mike Evans, Owen Daniels, or Martavis Bryant? Ooh, Andy Holloway, Fantasy Footballer, has his index finger up and the rest of his fingers covering his mouth in deep thought. So I'm going to give some interesting advice on this one. It is a good question. For me, Owen Daniels is not a consideration. But looking at Evans and Bryant...
is this is a tough decision. And here's what, here's a little tip. When you're in this situation, two guys you really like, because I like both these guys. I would look at their matchup this week and look at who you think is going to look really good on the waiver wire next week. Because if you like Evans long term, but Bryant's going to have the bigger week this week, you're not going to have a chance to get Brian again the rest of the year. So just keep in my, look a little bit more long term in terms of,
what things will look like on the waiver wire next week. That's what I would say. So for me, this is really tough. I'm going to go with Mike Evans because he has a dedicated number two role in that offense. That was exactly what I was going to say. So that's my choice. I really like Bryant. I do think he's going to establish himself as that number two. But for now, he's still splitting snaps with Marcus Wheaton, even though he's been scoring multiple touchdowns every single game.
So I would lean Mike Evans because he is the number two receiver. Evans, Bryant, Daniels. That's what I did. That's exactly how I would do it. So let me pull another one up here. We got down with the streamstness. Down with the streamness, man. Oh my goodness. Keep going. This is a defensive question.
And I cannot possibly focus if I have a rage against machine in my head. Rage against the machine. Wait, what did you say? Oh, my goodness. It's disturbed. Oh, yeah, that's right. Here I was like pondering it. This is why Philly, filthy, whatever your name was. Filthy Philanthropist. This is why you're apparently 75 years old. I can get a couple mixed up.
They're both older songs. Turn down that rock and roll music. It's too loud. Pocket full of shells. That would be raging. I know. I know it is. All right. Look, let me put my glasses up on my face. Sorry, I'm, you know. Well, we got to wrap up because the buffet opens up here pretty soon. Oh, my gosh. You know, read the man's question.
Yeah, I'm really defensive question. Or a woman. I guess we don't know. Yeah, because we have the stupid rule about our emails. Green Bay versus the Bears, Bill's versus the Chiefs, or Bengals versus the Browns? Bears, Bill's, Browns. Okay, so Green Bay versus the Bears, Bales versus the Bears. Bills versus the Browns. I would. What is happening? I am going to. Bengals, Bills, Packers. I'm going to go.
Bills. Bangerle. Bangers? Bills? Bengrels. Green Bay. The Bills at home versus the Chiefs. So you went with the better statistical defense over the better matchup probably. Yeah. I still don't believe in the Chiefs too much. The bills are at home. They're coming off the by. And they have a good defense with a very good run defense. And if you shut down the run on the Chiefs,
I'm not believing that Alex Smith can overcome that. I think that's pretty fair. That's a good team. And they get turnovers and sacks and things like that. Word. Word. All right. Next question is Wally Wally. Why is everybody's names three names? Because I don't know. Maybe it's the rule of three, man. Things are funnier in threes. Let's answer some questions. Wally Wally Wolle walks and free. No?
Yeah, I got it. Go on. Oh, I thought that was a good one. That's raging into machines, lead singer's name. I know. I know who that is. This is a tight end start. Heath Miller versus the Jets. Heath Miller and the Jets versus you're becoming a caricature. Or stud, Julius Thomas versus Oakland.
Julius, Julius, Julius, Julius, Julius. You're staying with player studs? Yeah, I am. This is the equivalent of saying Heath Miller versus the Jets or Jimmy Graham versus the 49ers. I mean, I'm playing the sudden. See, I don't think it's anywhere close to Jimmy Graham. What you're saying? Because Graham's easier to play or harder? Easier. Okay. If it's Graham, it's no question. And... Thomas got like two targets last week. He caught them both, and he scored a touchdown.
Right, but he's not getting targets and he's not getting catches. If he doesn't get a touchdown, he's... I think Welker's out and Julius is huge this week. Yeah, so I would... I mean, you guys, it's hard to sit your stud, even if Heath Miller is a guy I really, really like this week, you still have to go with your top guy. Fantasy pros numbers, do you want to guess? Probably in the 90s. 100 to nothing. Okay, there you go. But yeah, he does have the question, and we're answering it for him. You just made Wally Wally feel like a...
Molly moron. All right. Next question from Charles Sims, because we always get a question from an actual athlete once a week. Man, we are just... We're growing. The words are getting out. Cam Newton last week. We have those six five-star reviews. We did downgrade, though, from Cam Newton to Charles Sims. Maybe. Not in my opinion. Charles Sims versus Atlanta or Trey Mason versus Arizona. This is a really good question. Both guys are...
It's a good question, but for me, if Sims is active, I'm taking a chance with him against Atlanta. I'm not really messing with Tray Mason and the three-headed RBBC against Arizona. I actually think the RBBC is not three-headed. I think Troy Mason is... A half-heads? Maybe two. But Mason's still got the bulk. True. I'm curious. So to me, this is actually a...
quantity versus a very stout running defense and an unknown versus a garbage defense. So you're going Mason? Oh, man. It, if... The numbers are overwhelming on this one, too, if you look at Fantasy Pros. I haven't looked at it yet, but I have to take the guy who I know is going to get the carries, even if the matchup is really hard and just hope he squeezes in a touchdown. So I'm taking Trey Mason. Yeah, yeah, good call. Trey Mason with 94% of experts agreeing.
Uh, one more. Final. Our final question. I don't, I don't know how this, this guy emailed in. I don't know how, one, how to, Twitter, he comes across on Twitter. Well, how did he type, first of all, which this is getting into all sorts of things that we should not be talking about. Because I just figured, I just figured it out. I am digging a giant hole and I will never get out. Uh-huh. But this email, email comes in from Aryan Foster's groin. What?
What? We've gotten emails from his hammy before, but never his groin. So his groin is on by this week. And we all know how much Aaron Foster loves fantasy football. He does. He spoke glowingly of it many, many times. He has a wide receiver, a PPR question. Do you take Golden Tate versus Miami or?
ODB versus Seattle. Calvin Johnson is supposed to be back. Does that take some of the shine off of golden tape? This is a pretty brutal one. Who would you go with if it's your team? Oh, man, if it's my team in PPR. Oh, so full PPR? I actually go, I'm going to go Beckham. I'm going to take Beckham. I think I would lean Beckham.
because I don't like Ruben Randall. I agree with you on the garbage time, and he's just, he's going to get targets, and I think Calvin Johnson, Stafford, will see Calvin Johnson on the field, and he sees nobody else once Calvin's on the field. So I'm going to lean ODB. All right, well, that's it for the mailbag section, and this edition of the Fantasy Footballers podcast. I am Andy.
